Great professor. Will have you laughing the whole semester. He really tries to help you learn as much as possible. Take him for A&P no one else. I promise you wont regret it.

He is a great professor, likes to make jokes at times but its just to keep us in a good mood. he gives practice questions and some of them are on the test. overall i found this class helpful. this was my 2nd time taking a&p and this time i actually understood what was going on. i would recommend him and i would definitely take his class again.

Introduction to Bio.He is a great guy, always in a good mood, willing to re-teach if you ask.I recomend some reading before class, not just his, but all college classes.Remember this is not HS.I really appreciated him when I had Bio1010 w. someone else.Some students think he teach too much,but I was ahead of all students because of what he teached.

Is entertaining in his diagrams and funny comparisons, jokes around, minor accent... Doesn't require the physical textbook but it helped me a lot. No Homework!!! Just 6 tests, and he gives extra credit. Love his grading system.

He is such a great teacher. No homework, No book, he teaches everything that is on the test. Attendance is not manditory, but it is helpful to go. He is always in a good mood, and he makes Biology not boring. Really great teacher!

Awesome professor! I have him for A&P 1. He is extremely helpful. Love his teaching style. He wont move on until the whole class gets it. Always willing to help. The book is helpful but not required. One of the best professors i've had! You really learn something in his class. Take him! you wont be disappointed! Wish he was teaching a&p 2!

He did a great job teaching, in a manner everyone was able to understand. He went over things as many times as the students needed him to. His tests were not easy, but between his lectures and studying for tests, I actually learned the material, not just memorized it for the tests. I hope to be in another class of his in the future!

One of the best professors I ever had!I took him for intro to bio as well & I would highly recommend him!He is brillantly smart and breaks everything down so the material can be easily understood.All the material needed for tests can be located in your notes you just have to be willing to take a lot of notes in class.Pay attention & you'll be fine!

An amazing teacher!! Very helpful in making sure class understands the material. Class in not mandatory but be sure to attend class as he points out specific questions that will be on tests. Dr. TV is a very good professor and he explains the systems in AP 1 very well. If you take notes, come to class and use a little critial thinking you will do fine, I have a 97% in his class now after 4 test. If you are lazy dont take anyone!!!

Teju is AMAZING. Really knows his sstuff. Super helpful. Love the way he teaches. Makes concepts easy to understand. He does have an accent but you'll get used to it. You do have to study. If you attend class, listen and take good notes you'll be fine. I got an A in his class, took it in the summer. One of the best professors I've ever had.

Great professor, he is a MD from India. Knows his stuff, class is interactive, doesn't use ppt, therefore not boring. Taking his A&P 2 as well, highly recommending him.

I took Teju for anatomy and physiology 2. He was a great professor. The class is hard and you have to study a lot, but if you go to class and study the material you will do well. I think I studied 40 hours a week. You can not breeze through the class. He is fair with his grading and your grade is based off the exams and participation.

I had this professor for Anatomy & Phys II. He is not easy but one of the best professors I have ever had. He provides incredible lectures. You must come to class to pass, I would not suggest missing. His tests are not easy at all but if you study your notes he provides you will be successful. I recommend this professor over and over again!

Professor Vala was one of the funniest instructors that I have ever had. During lecture he will tell stories to get points across and they really help you understand the topic. His tests are tough and reading the textbook and attending class are musts to pass. He is a very fair grader and will work with his students. Overall, great professor!

I took A and P 1 with another prof first and failed miserably! Teju is a clear, funny, intelligent man, and great prof. Brownie points if you are familiar with Two and a half men TV show! Lots of reading, but that's Anatomy! Not strict on memorization, except nervous system (might be AP2). Also to Teju for A and P 2. I hardly study, show up!

Hes a very good professor. Very funny. Sometimes hard to understand his words but not hard to figure out what he is trying to say. ALWAYS show up to class. He said he doesnt fail his students that always show up. I was suppose to fail with a D, but I showed up every class and I pass with a C.

Class was good. prof was funny, helpful and straight forward with what he expected and what he tested on. took notes in class and did about 1-2 hours of study at home each night. His accent was not hard at all to understand. overall great professor, great class, great time. TL:DR ? Show up, take notes, review after class at home, have fun!

Dr. TV provides you amazing lectures & answers ur questions. Dr. Tv is witty and hilarious. I took him for Summer A. The problem is only 4 tests which are 70% grade, partcipation 5%, final test grade 25% (all mcqs). No extra credits. His tests are tough and he put some questions in test that he has not covered in class. Group studies helped alot!

Amazing way of teaching . Very friendly and understanding . The notes he gives in the lecture are more simpler and easier than the books. And I liked the way of teaching and explaining . He don't provide slides but his notes are better than anything. His lectures are interesting .And his test are not that hard.

His diagrams and form of lecturing taught me to understand topics that other professors had made go way over my head. I am so eager to continue on with my major after having his class. Truly the best professor Ive had hands down

Teju is an amazing teacher. Reading through some of these comments it is hard to understand why someone would not pass his class. DON'T EVER SKIP. There is the best advice and study your notes front to back. I took him for Mini summer B and last Fall and received an A in both of his classes. He is only hard if you do not show up for class!

I just finished taking Teju. Honestly, hes the best professor I have ever had. There is a book (move your bus) by a reknowned teacher named Ron Clark and it discusses what an excellent teacher looks like. It lines up with Teju perfetly. Hes energetic and interactive and extremely intelligent and teaches in an understandable way. Will miss his class

Teju is a great professor. He truly cares about his students understanding the material. He makes you work for your grade, so if you want an "easy A" then you should definitely not take him. However, if you are looking for an "easy A" in any class in college, you should maybe reconsider going to college. Work hard, study hard and you will do well.

Some of these reviews are misrepresenting prof Vala. He is not a bad teacher. These students are just mad that a professor wasn't handing out an easy A. Not gonna lie, his class is hard! No homework, and no curving. Only tests and they are very detailed. This class is required for nursing etc. If you are serious about learning, take this class.

Absolutely best prof. I have ever had. Of course, his class is difficult, given it is a very difficult subject with tons of information, but he does his best to help everyone understand the material. Took him for A+P 1, now have him for A+P 2, and could not ask for a better professor. Funny guy who is very well informed of his material he teaches!

An Indian MD with passion for teaching. This man WILL prepare you for the nursing program as A & P II is the foundation. He cuts all the nonsense that you do NOT need to learn, but makes you learn the vital information extremely well. Do NOT draw his drawings for notes, instead take written notes off what he lectures and take pictures of the board

Prof. Teju is one of the best Professor I came across. He is hilarious, very knowledgeable about this course. He gives 5 exams, a common final, and a research paper. He has the best mode of teaching. He does not use PowerPoint but draws and explain everything in detail on the board. Exams are ok If you study what he covers in class you will pass.

I LOVE TEJU!!! If you are a visual learner, you will love his teaching style. He doesn't do powerpoints, which I prefer because what he teaches us is STRICTLY what we need to know. Very funny, makes lectures not seem so long. Uses a lot of visual aids and side stories to help with memorizing his lectures. Goes by exactly what will be on the test. He prepares you very well for all of his exams. Overall, very good professor.

I loved this professor. Tough class but he makes it clear what you need to know. Tests are the only grades and they're tough but if you do the extra assignments (which have no count toward grades in canvas) he'll definitely cut you a break. I bombed a couple tests and skipped often and still pulled a B but don't get me wrong it's a tough course

Loved this A&P II professor! If you are a visual learner you will really enjoy his lectures, he works only on a white board with markers. You definitely need to attend class and study to pass, but he will only test you on what he taught you. He made class fun and actually cared about his students doing well in his class.

He was awesome. I really enjoyed him and his class. A&PII is what I had. Do not take this class in a condensed summer mini. Too much info. I would have gotten an A had I taken full term. Thing is, you have to put in the time. He teaches great, but it's your responsibility to learn. Hint: record his lectures while taking notes. It helps. :)

Great professor, he cares and really helps you out when needed. The class itself is hard but he teaches the subject very well. I love the way he teaches; no powerpoints and lots of visuals. Taking AP1 in a mini summer semester was hard, I would've gotten an A if I took the class during a full term.

He covers everything you need to know in class from his personal MEMORY! Very bright and understanding. Very good use of humor and cares very much about his students. Take good notes from the off the board and definitely read the material he only covers 85 to 90% of the topic on the board. Reading is an absolute must if you want an A

Best A&P prof on campus!! This is a tough course, but he does a great job explaining everything. Really cares about his students & makes lecture fun. Light & easy going classroom atmosphere. If you miss lecture you will not pass because everything he says & writes down is exactly what you need to know for exams.

Teju is a great professor! He is very knowledgeable and hilarious! he lectures based off of memory and he does very well in explaining the concept. I will say his test are very hard, I feel like I am taking a state test every time we take a chapter test. STUDY EVERYTHING! BOOK, NOTES, LECTURE,PICTURES, AND LAB BOOK.

Best professor I've ever had. His classes are entertaining and I looked forward to attending every day. He inspired me to become a doctor. BUT. This was the hardest class I've ever taken. I had to dedicate my life to Anatomy while in this class. He is not for everyone. He made this class so hard. He is great if you want to learn how to study.

He gives 5 tests worth 14% each, one final worth 25%, and 5% for participation. There is one writing assignment which he just checks as submitted or not submitted and is not graded. There is never any review, he always says "anything we've ever covered in class is fair game for the test." Tests are very hard. You need to focus and study to pass.

Professor Vala was by far the best A&P professor took him for both 1 and 2, and he honestly helped me with my Critical Thinking skills, his tests are hard but that's where the critical thinking and all the hours of study comes in place, at least study 20 hours per week.

Professor Teju is a great A&P Professor! I genuinely loved this class. He teaches by drawing things out & putting emphasis on key points that'll be on exams. Get ready to use critical thinking on exams! Anything that is written on the board could be on the test. He is extremely hilarious, engages with students, and genuinely cares.

Prof Vala is a wonderful Anatomy professor. Hard test which is all your grade is based on. Take notes, and DEF record his lectures to refer to when studying, you should do great. The only negative thing is his test reviews are terrible and very vague. Text and lab book not necessary but good to refer to when studying but you don't need both .

I took him during the summer term and he did a wonderful job in explaining all the systems in enough detail for you to understand them. He writes a lot on the board so make sure you copy what he puts and never miss a lecture. He doesn't go back and review in detail so make sure you copy what he says in the exact order. 100% take him again!

He is by far my favorite science professor. He goes into great detail of all the systems and makes sure you understand it before he moves on to the next. Make sure you go to all his classes as his lectures are very detailed and he doesn't review for the tests.

I took this class as a mini summer course. The course is challenging but you will learn and retain the information. The professor is very personable and has passion for teaching. I would highly recommend taking his class.

First off, Professor Vala is an amazing professor that has so much knowledge to offer. His classes are all filled with information so if you skip a class it will be very difficult to catch back up. If you have the chance to take Professor Valas class consider yourself lucky! My favorite professor of all time. Anatomy & Physiology&2 is a hard subject no matter what but professor Vala simplifies it as much as he can and actually draws on the board instead of giving boring powerpoints. Record his class and take pictures of each board is a must.

He is by far the best professor in the entire school when it comes to his style of teaching. He teaches for the dummies but test for the PHDs, which means one must be willing to expand his understanding of the materials beyond what he teaches. Class was difficult but his lectures were AMAZING & really helped me comprehend the topic. It wasn't your basic read-over PowerPoints, he drew 7 wrote everything from scratch explaining things in a manner that kept me engaged. His tests make you think so DON'T CHANGE YOUR ANSWER, go with your gut because somewhere down the line he mentioned it.

Dr. Vala tries his best to keep class interesting and genuinely wants everyone to succeed. I look forward to taking his AP2 class. Lectures are at times intense but his drawings keep things fun, if your not able to draw,like me, you can take a picture.

I think professor Vala was an extraordinary teacher. Yes it was tough at times but, these classes are meant to be tough. He does a great job at teaching what your going to be tested on. For my first experience of a real college class, he was outstanding. If you are a visual learner and like to have analogies to help you memorize information, he is the professor for you. He is a very lighthearted and fun professor that is consistent in making sure his students succeed in his class. Put in the work and effort and you will do great!

I have never been one to enjoy science classes, but Professor Vala made it great for me. I took A&P I with him last semester. Everything we did in the lab was very interactive and helpful. His teaching style is great for me- most of the class is spent writing on the board, not using notes from others. Attendence isn't mandatory, but super helpful

Harder class. I greatly enjoyed his teaching style as he draws everything on the white board. 70% of your grade is tests. Dont miss lectures because he tells you what's on test. He sometimes asks questions that he never taught but gives you an opportunity to bring it up after and if whole class agrees you get credit. Id avoid taking this online.

Dr. Vala's class is hard; However, every AP class will be hard. In my opinion, u have to work for ur A. It isn't impossible bc I have an A. Last semester took another professor for AP1,& barely remember anything bc the class was EASY, which in nursing doesn't help much. I'm so thankful I took Vala for AP2 bc I remember which is helping me now.

This class is very lecture heavy, so it is important to show up and listen! He tries to make the lesson fun by turning the lecture into a story to remember it better! His tests are hard, and you will have to study, but if you put in the work you will be fine. He is a good person to talk to and is always available for extra help when needed.

This class is hard so be prepared. It's also a lecture heavy so need to make sure you come to class and if not then make sure you have someone that can record the lecture for you. You also will need to study for the tests, you can't walk in the test without studying or you won't do great. Makes sure you have time put aside to study.

Hands down what a real professor should be. Even though this class was extremely difficult,I would still want him as my A&P2 professor because I've actually learned something! Also just nice guy and totally a swifty fan lol anyways Study and you pass. Don't study then fail. That's really what it comes down to. Dont blame him if you didnt study.

70% of the grade is exams. The lectures are informative (not just read off a PowerPoint everything is hand drawn by him). If you put what he writes on the board in your notes and then study that you will do fine. It can be alot of material at times but imo hes the best AnP prof at FSW just because of his lecture quality. Avoid taking online tho.

The best professor I have learned from took him for A&P 1, Summer MINI- A. His lecture is not from a PowerPoint it is all handwritten by him on the board. Just copy everything he writes and study it and you are sure to pass ALL exams. He is a very funny and a caring teacher 100% recommend him!!

I was super nervous about this class, but I am glad I register for his class since I got an F in previous A&P online class. Professor Teju made me feel confortable because english is not my first language, and even thought A&P is a hard class, he made it funny and it was super nice to go to his class. I definitely took his A&P II in summer.

Prof Tejendrasinh is tough but fair. Take detailed notes, attend every class, and use unstuckstudy for extra practice - it saved me time and helped me ace the exams. The workload is heavy, but the material is engaging if you put in the effort.

Amazing professor!!!!! I took Mr.V last spring and I wish I could have taken him again for this upcoming fall term. Incredibly caring, funny , and detailed when it comes to lectures. I had my best friend in the class to help with studying so it came easier for me, but I would highly recommend taking DETAILED notes and using gizmo.

I just want to say that in-person classes are 100% better than online. This professor lectures by memory and writes or draws the explanations in detail on the white board - You will be tested on everything he writes down - barely uses a textbook, never videos, never PowerPoint. By far the best professor to take for major health classes.
