the worst professor I have ever had in my entire and lenthy academic career. Could not be bothered to write coherent exams free of critical errors,changed the exam during the exam after some students had already completed and turned it in! HORRIBLE!!!

Worst professor EVER! I can't believe they still let him teach. He can barely speak english and they expect us to understand what this guy is saying?

Ruined my life and my GPA. The sad part is that he could care less about his students. AVOID taking this professor at all cost.

WORST math teacher on the planet!!! He's disrepectful. The day of the second test,in front of the whole class he makes me move out of my seat, assuming i was a cheater. The day of final he also checks my id, whats funny is he only checked mine and no one else in the class. Stay away from Neelon! Hes

He is very unorganized person you can tell by just looking at his syllabus. His homeworks are sometimes 10 points sometimes 30. He gets nervous quick, very disrespectful, most students that were failing his class passed since it would make him look bad on his record. This class is a joke!

His teaching methods are a waste of my time and my money. He teaches off a powerpoint presentation and if you interupt him to ask a question, you're never quite sure if he has answered it. He is unorganized and squeezes a lot of information into his class to make up for it.

He is the absolute worst. What everyone else complains about is true, avoid at all costs. The only thing good is that he gives everyone C's at the end because nobody is passing at that point and he doesn't want to look bad.

The WORST instuctor ever. Do not take this class unless you are a math genius. This instructor does not speak english well at all, then he has the nerve to talk really fast. Why he still has a job is beyond me. I even went to his office for assistence and he told me I would be better off doing something else with my time. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!

He ruined my gpa! I avg better grades compare to the rest of the students that were failing yet he had the nerves to fail me and pass two of my freinds who had F''s and d's on their tests. THey got a C+ & B+ but chances are slim, i wouldn't take it, he is not helpful and he gets nervous quick & he makes u feel like u shud give up on college.

This is the worst teacher I've ever had! My class of appx. 30 dwindled down to 5 before I dropped! I was able to drop one day late but the Dean insisted that I don't write my reasoning as the prof. being a bad teacher; I think they're friends or something so this guy doesn't get in trouble; he should be fire though. He's unclear; skips everything!

Just show up for class, turn in homework, and you will pass. Class size went from 40+ on first day to around 6 on the final. I had no idea what was going on, but showed up every day and walked out passing.

Well...he is smart but doesn't care if the class understands or not. He will seriously breeze through the most difficult material and sharply criticize you if you ask questions. He doesn't review for tests or even the final. The class is easy for those who are self motivated. I think he needs a serious vacation and a rethinking of his career.

AVOID THIS PROFESSOR AT ALL COSTS !!! Very unhelpful, does not teach the material, but expects you to know everything he is doing when yhou walk into class. He skips steps so you don't know what the hell is going on. Does not review for exams or final. Gave wrong info on what was going to be on final. TERRIBLE !!!!!

All I gotta say is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!! I would rather be devoured in flames than take this professor again! He could care less about his students. I almost think that he enjoys playing with his students like toys. He's the devil. RUN AWAY. I cried in his office and he was smiling!!!!!!!!!

HORRIBLE!!! this teacher does not care about his students at all. I completely understood math, and did fairly well on tests and quizzes in previous classes i took. Then i got this teacher and i hate math and i do horrible on tests and quizzes. I highly advise ANYONE not to get this teacher if you have a choice, he should find another job and SOON!

THIS PROFESSOR IS HORRIBLE! If you have any other options then i would advise that... he gives wrong information and is not helpful to students... DONT GET HIM!!!!!!

The WORST teacher ever!

I must say one thing and one thing only, HARDEST TEACHER EVER!!!!!!!! He doesnt help students out when they need it. There is always problems with his grading when he passes back quizzes or tests. He isnt clear in his lectures and he gets his own problems wrong. How is that possible? He is a college professor for crying out loud. DONT TAKE HIM

All he does is talk and talk and doesn't get any class participation involved. We correct his mistakes far too much! I got an A on the first big exam, which surprised me a lot considering I didn't understand him at all. If you ever take him, teach yourself outta the book and do the sample questions. And if you need help, don't ask him! he sucks

I ended up being a tutor for most of my class. he has a thick accent you cannot understand and writes in chicken scratch... he is unable to help with ANYTHING!!! if you can avoid it DON'T TAKE HIM!!!

I’m sorry, but I can’t lie, hands down the WORST PROFESSOR I have ever had. I went to his office hours and he had trouble solving a problem on his own study guide. We spent almost 30 mins on a problem he designed. He absolutely could careless whether students learn or not.

All I got to say is WOW!! Failed his class twice!!! He is soo arrogant, rude, and cannot teach! please if you can choose another professor because this one will ruin your GPA. I have never failed a class before in my life but I did with him and never worked so hard for F's in my life.

This teacher was the worst teacher I have had at Cal State San Marcos. He acted as though any of our questions were unnecessary/ridiculous. During our presentations he looked as though he wanted to be anywhere but there. He was practically rolling his eyes. His questions on the exam were confusing, even if you kept upwith the reading

Worst teacher I have ever had in my life. He does not explain things at all, and gets mad when a person sneezes and someone says bless you. Something like 2/3 of his class last semester failed. His tests are impossible. Do not get in his class.

I don't think I've ever had such an awful professor. Neelon is unprofessional, unhelpful, and doesn't care whether or not you understand the material. I read this website thinking it wouldn't be that bad, but now I am all to aware of how true it is. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. You will try your hardest, and still fail. It was a horrible experience.

He was the worst teacher I have ever had. I'm usually really good at math and in his class I was always confused. I basically had to learn from my peers and the math lab. He is a HORRIBLE teacher. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS.

This guys is by far the worst teacher. i dont think he read his job description dosent teach hard to understand and tests yiu in the hardest problems in math. dont waste your time with him its a waste of money for you and the school

possibly the worst "algebra" instructor, ever. if you are good at math, prepare to be confused. if you are not good at math, you will not learn anything. there is a huge language barrier when he tries instructing. do yourself a favor and stay away from him!

he shouldn't be a professor

One of the worst math teachers i have ever experienced. Not only is he difficult to understand but he does not respond to those who need help and the entire semester was a self taught class. Study guides didn't even pertain to the tests. Waste of time.

This is a horrible professor! He is very difficult to understand, doesn't help you if you have questions, and makes a lot of mistakes, also, he starts explaining things with very difficult problems instead of starting with an easy one. Sometimes students have to correct him! He really sucks!

Teacher is terrible. Be ready to do lots of reading because this is a self-taught class. you're better off reading the book instead of going to class.

Don't bother taking him, it's a waste of your tuition. He needs to be fired ASAP...he's completely worthless as a professor...doesn't care...can't communicate...rude...he can't even answer math problems on his own study guide. Don't waste your time.

i couldn't understand him hardly at all. he was very strict when grading tests. some people will have an easy time with him, but 2/3rds will fail. my grade went up 20% when he was switched out with a better substitute for the last few chapters (supposedly harder part of the class too)

Out of all my math professors I have had, this one is the worst. Very unhelpful when you have a question on the hw. His lectures do not correlate with the homework. I have taken calc before so luckily I understand the homework assigned. Work is easy but if you want your learning to be worthwhile I would not consider having him as a professor.

Not good at helping out or explaining. If you take this class don't get him as a professor. He's not helpful or understanding and doesn't Let make up work when sick

Worst teacher ever. Avoid getting his class if possible. He takes attendance, but it's not worth going to class. Everything is online and you basically just teach yourself. He teaches through powerpoints and isn't consistant. He jumps to different things and you get confused. If you actually want to learn math, take it with a different teacher.

He is very hard to understand! He never gives you a straight answer and believes learning calculus should be exploratory rather then explicitly taught. All lessons were on power point. Online test do not give partial credit for work. If you want an online learning experience while being forced to come to class he is your guy!

He knows his material but is very dependent with WebAssign. Might as well be an online class. When you ask a question he is very discouraging which made me never want to ask him questions ever again.

The worst professor at CSU. Totally unorganized and unhelpful. Makes you feel stupid if you ask questions. Has any one else noticed that all the good ratings are the same style and 5 or 6 on the same day? I think he's rating himself to make himself look better.

What a nightmare!!! Doesn't even bother to seem empathetic toward his students! He takes no feedback and criticizes you if you do something wrong. I'm surprised he's still working here!

Bad! Not taking the accent into account, the lectures are painful to watch. Attempts to do examples wo notes and constantly makes mistakes, which is ironic because he'll give you 50% or less credit on exam questions if you make any mistakes, even if the process is right. The textbook is lousy. The final is worth 40% of the grade... avoid.

I signed up for a hybrid class, he did not teach, he made the class fully online. When I did go to class to ask for help I did not get any. He gave no assistance with the online site you have to use for the class, and if you have never used this site it can get confusing, if one assignment is missed you will fail the class.

He's a pretty nice guy.

Took an online class with him and he pointed us to a website that did all of the teaching and grading for him. The class was painful and you won't learn much. I would not recommend this class to anyone who values their sanity

basically the worst professor, and if you are looking at this rating before choosing him as a professor, then I strongly recommend to run towards another professor and quick because if you get this professor you have a high chance of failing if you only rely on his lectures. Text book and a lot of independent work and studying is necessary with him

Your final grade is based off the midterm and the final, quizzes and homework aren't included. Take this course with a different professor!!!

I asked him to clarify something once and all he said was "I don't know". Take the class in person- online isn't recommended

Worst teacher I have ever experienced. For the sake of your own sanity, DO NOT TAKE THIS GUY FOR ANY CLASS EVER. Unenthusiastic, always seems to be in a bad mood, clearly does not care for classes he teaches as a whole, does not care about his students or their progress, WILL FAIL YOU AND NOT A LOSE A WINK OF SLEEP OVER IT. You've been warned
