As a Social Studies teacher, I never thought that I could be so impressed with someone outside my profession. Mr.Fessahaye is the most amazing mathematician in college. He made the most difficult concepts interesting and fun.He loves math and displays it.

I highly recommend this guy and will be taking him for another class!

This guy was great! I usually suck at math and found his to be class interesting and enjoyable. I passed with flying colors! Take him if you get the chance.

Awesome teacher. Explains the course is his way so read the book too (but use it at the library instead of buying it.) He uses homework ques for his tests so do it to pass, plus you get extra points for it. Very intelligent & gives lessons on life too.

Yes, his accent is thick, but he's not. He's absolutely hilarious, and he knows his stuff. I was fine until the last fews weeks, when I was completely lost, but it's an easy class if you're not stupid like me.

Tek is very entertaining and really knows his stuff. He makes sure you know exactly what will be on exams. The accent isn't a problem, and he speaks better English than most "Americans."

He is one of the easiest Math teacher at SFCC. Just study his notes and pratice the examples. (oh, and ask around for his old tests b/c he uses the same types of questions ..Hint hint)

You must know that he's got a accent, it does make him hard to understand sometimes but its more funny than anything. Can be hard to follow sometimes but is a nice guy, can come off as mean sometimes but he never means it.

This is the best teacher I have had at Santa Fe. Do your homework and the quizzes and tests are simple. Be careful on the final it was a lot more complicated that the other tests. He is helpful if you have questions and he really knows his Math!!!!

He's quite helpful, and give projetcs to you to get extra points. But, these projects are difficult. His note is quite unclear, and totally different information with book. So, you have to write ur note carefully, and not absent.

He lets you know what will be on the test and if he accidently puts something in there that he did not go over, he will not count it. A great teacher, keeps class interesting. If you take good notes and do the homework, you should get an A, I did!

tek is an awesome teacher. You must attend class and study your notes to get a good grade. He wants you to get a good grade and is more than willing to work with you so that you can do so. Great guy, I hope to take atleast one more class from him.

Great professor! Tek honestly cares that you pass. Attend every class, take good notes and DEFINITELY do all the practice problems he hands out. Don't read the text; its a waste of time. Even if you don't do well on the tests you can still pass the class. The calculator commands are the most important to know! Work hard and you'll do fine.

Cool guy. Loves to teach and has a good sense of humor which improves the class atmosphere. Of course, you have to attend every class and take the notes to have any success. The book is just okay. He is more than happy to give you the time of day during his office hours. Attendance is important to him. The harder you work, the harder he'll try to help you. The material itself is fairly easy. His accent does make him hard to understand at times. However, he's very patient & seems to be careful to be sure everyone understands a point before moving on despite a fairly quick pace of instruction.

I really liked this professor because he cared about his students and wanted them to pass . Very hard at times but was very helpful. I would recommend him to all students.Very good teacher

Mr. Tek is a great teacher. He has an accent, but writes everything on the board so you know what he is saying! I loved taking his class, he is funny so class doesn't get boring.

he makes math class as interesting as possible. he's funny and seems to really enjoy teaching. he has an accent but i dont have trouble understanding him. topics in math is extremely easy (for me) so i havent had much trouble, but for a harder math class he may be hard to understand. i like him a lot although he can sometimes be a little confusing.

Very cool teacher. Topics in Math with Mr. Tek was the most enjoyable math class I ever had. The accent takes a few classes to get used to, but if you have trouble understanding him, ask him to clarify.

This class was fun! I enjoyed haveing Tek as a teacher. He kept class interesting with little jokes and stories. He is a little hard to understand sometimes becuase his accent is very strong, but if you pay attention you will get it. Don't be afraid to ask any question, he is very helpful. I definately recommend him.

Loved him! Tek is a great teacher even if he is a little silly at times. He does have an accent but if you pay attention in class it shouldn't be a problem. If it is a problem, he offers lots of opportunity to help you. He is a stickler for attendance but if you have prior commitments, he is usually understanding. I highly recommend him!

Mr. Tek is a very smart man, but you must be able to follow his train of thought. He will sometimes go off on something that is unrelated and you just have to put it in the back of your head. You must attend class everyday, if you do then the book is unnecessary. I got an A because I listened and went to class. dont take if you are poor at math!!

Teklay is very... unique. He is somewhat hard to understand with his accent. He teaches the information well, it's just sometimes hard to follow. He goes off on rants a lot and starts mumbling about something else.. it's actually pretty funny.

He's the man....Funniest guy ever, very easy because hes a good teacher and makes you understand it...tests are not killer and there are alot of other ways to get points in his class...

Literally the best teacher I've had in college so far...funny, smart, helpful...easy tests(let's you drop your lowest one), gives study guides, and there are other ways besides tests to get points...take him he's a great guy n he will make u laugh

This is the second class I have taken with this professor, he's excellent, very good at explaining the subject with proofs and everything, and he keeps you interested with his humor. Always available in his office for help and welcomes those who don't understand the material very well so no one feels dumb. I recommend him for any math class.

This professor is by far one of the most clear math professors at Santa Fe. I'm far from a Math Wiz and still got an A. Attendance in mandatory, but what he covers in class is exactly what will be on the Quizzes and Tests. Pay attention in class and take notes and you will pass with an A.

Mr. Tek is one of the best professors I?ve had at Santa Fe. Yes, he does have an accent but you can understand his instructions fairly well. He is a funny and smart guy I would recommend anyone who does not do math well to take him. He is helpful and wants students succeed. Take him if you have the chance.

I had him during a summer D semester 3 hrs twice a week.Under this short schedule he seemed rather rushed/disorganized,forgetting due dates etc.He makes his test very hard, but adds a big curve. His teaching style is good and he tries to keep the students entertained throughout class.I can tell he wants you to learn.Recommended for good students.

This is an easy class online with Tek. He allows multiple attempts so its impossible not to pass this class unless you don't do the work on time. Check DAILY for due dates and times on the assignments, quizzes, tests, etc. Great guy and he was funny/laid back in person when we took midterm and finals.

By far my favorite math teacher. He has an accent and is sometimes hard to understand, but the class was very entertaining. He is really funny. However studying outside of class is crucial, if you do all the homework and truly understand the material an A is very easy.

Mr. Tek was a pretty good professor. If I needed any help he would respond in a prompt manner and help me. The only thing I didn't like was how he would assign a HW and then make it due the next day! I earned a B in his class and I wouldn't mind taken him again... he is also funny when it comes down to the exams!

Tek is super helpful. I took the class online this semester, but every time I had a question or needed help, he was quick to respond and was very clear with instructions. I would definitely take another class with him in the future.

Tek is a very nice guy who can be hard to understand at times. He is a very interesting person with an interesting outlook on life. He has his own particular style to him and he is truly a character. It can be hard to learn from his examples at times, but he gives plenty of resources by providing you with his notes, powerpoints etc.

"Mr. Tek" as we called him will hand you his own notes in class so you can follow along easier. If you have any problems, go see him in his office and he will totally be there for you. He is so enthusiastic and really wants you to succeed! If you follow along in class, you only need the book for the HW problems.

When we first started I was completely lost! I went to see him and he walked me through the steps, then lent me one of his own books on Diff Equations that was easier to understand. Once it "clicked" in my head that Diff Equations is not as hard as everyone says, but a matter of recognizing the equation and knowing its type of solution, I got it.

He is one of the best professors I've ever had. He is funny, inspirational and smart. I am a math major, so it is important for me to sit in classes taught by witty professors, he was a perfect match. He is also a very reasonable and fast grader.

Don't believe what the others have said; Tek is the best professor I've ever had. Had him for 2 courses in the same semester (DE & Calc 3). He is hard to understand at first, but after getting over the accent the class is awesome. Learned much more than math when he would go off on his tangents. Wish I could take every class in my major with him.

Tek has been an outstanding professor. He is as funny as can be and is extremely knowledgeable. It's a little frustrating how quirky he is because I find myself getting lost in lecture because of his tangents, but study and do lots of practice out of class and you'll be fine. I've learned a lot through his strange little methods.

He is the best professor I have very had in SF. If you show up to class and take notes and practice the Webassign quizzes, It will be an easy +A class for a difficult course like DiffEq. I highly recommend him.

Professor Tek was a great online professor. Sometimes assignments were posted randomly but he gave us almost a week to complete them in time. Responds to emails quickly & answers any questions and tries to be as helpful as possible. If you're not so good with keeping up with the textbook on your own time I would suggest taking this class on campus.

Tek is dedicated to ensuring his students understand the material. He writes his own notes that become much easier to read and understand with time; the same goes for his accent. His teaching style unorthodox, entertaining, and above all effective. Personally, studying his notes and webassign quizzes are sufficient preparation for his exams.

Professor Tek is not your typical teacher. His accent can make the lecture hard to understand and his teaching style takes some getting used to. After that, he is a wonderful person and teacher. He cares about his students and wants them to succeed not only in his class but life. Often goes on tangents but they are not long nor boring. Great class!

Professor Tek was my online teacher for the last math class I took, and it was fairly easy! The reason Im reviewing is because of his understandingness, though. I missed an exam for a totally dumb reason and he didn't ask any questions, he just let me retake it. It was the most kind a teacher has ever been to me and meant a lot.

If you take his online class he won't be teaching anything unless you attend office hours to ask questions but if not then you're going to have to learn yourself from the resources he has on WebAssign. The tests and quizzes are completely online but to do good them be sure to do all the assignments even though they are optional they help a ton.
