Great professor! If you have to take public speaking, take Tennisha. She is super nice and always positive in class. Make sure to show up on your speech day and you'll do great in her class. She also cancels class every now and then and doesn't always lecture for the whole class period. Probably my favorite professor so far 10/10.

Take Tennisha! I just finished her course with an A. She is an amazing professor and as long as you show up to class to do a speech, you'll get at least a B. Just follow her rubrics and syllabus, do your speeches, come to class to get your attendance, and you'll do great.

I first and foremost want to say that Professor Tennisha Sonsalla was an awesome person! She was an amazing person, both in a professional manner and outside her profession. She is raw and authentic, thus really creating a bond with her as well as the students! I highly suggest taking her!

I love this teacher!!! She's so real and shows up to class as nobody than authentically herself. Class is SUPER easy! Just follow the rubric and speech outline guidelines and there's no way you shouldn't pass. She does random attendance so it's up to you if you wanna take the chance and not show up to class one day. Would 1000% recommend her!

Tennisha is the best teacher on campus!! Great class environment, and I loved every day I was in there. I'm not even a communication major and I enjoyed going to class. I had Professor Tennisha for the fall semester of 2024 as a freshman. I came into college thinking the prerequisites I would be taking were difficult and this class showed me so much different. Her class is genuinely fun more than anything, but it allows you to network a bit with your classmates to also see their talents.

Professor Sonsalla is super engaging and encouraging. The workload is light, and the assignments are easy if you show up and pay attention in class.

The class is easy, but it was hard to keep up because it was always cancelled. She does grade a little hard, but if you follow the rubric, you should do okay.

One of the best professors I've ever had. Attendance is mandatory, but she only takes attendance 10 days out of the semester; you will not know which days the attendance counts. We only did 4 speeches, and they were your choice out of her list. I would 100% recommend her for public speaking

Ms. Tennisha is a good understanding teacher as long as you came to class and participated you get an A. The speeches were not to hard, she gives nice lectures explaining the qualifications of the speeches before speech days. She will always notify and remind you when a speech is coming up.

Tennisha is a chill, laid-back professor. You complete 4 speeches of your choice by the end of the semester with only outlines as homework. She explains everything clearly in class and uploads all materials to E-Learn. The class is low stress and easy to keep up with. Definitely would recommend taking her!

Ms. Sonsalla provides a Calander at the beginning of the semester which shows you what you'll be doing. You are only required to do 4 speeches which you can pick. Getting a good grade is easy as long as you meet the time requirements for speeches and have all the information needed.

She was an excellent teacher; she only asked to be quiet/respectful while others were presenting. She didn't care for attendance as long as we showed up on speech days. She also gives out a lot of extra credit for many things.

She was a great teacher all in all. She has expertise in Public Speaking because she is head of the debate team. She also makes the class super comprehensive so the work you put in reflects your grade. I will say though that the speech outline and turn-around time is about a week, you can use notes though so just rehearse a few times.

I really enjoyed having Professor Tennisha as my teacher for Speech, she was very patient, and understanding of all of others responbilities outside of class by not assigning anything other than the speeches and outlines, but she did grade hard of the speeches, and did not except late work.

I found this professor on here before enrolling in her course and the ratings did not disappoint! She's a great lecturer who keeps it entertaining and she knows her stuff! Come to class, do the work and submit assignments on time, and it would be hard not to make an A in the class.
