At first, I thought he was a stuck up, self absorbed "writer" but after a bit, I realized his forte is in training the class in discussion. Lets you do the talking. Keep up with the reading and you'll get a lot out of the class. He always relates himself to the characters we are reading about. Cares about his class. Will take from again.
Great teacher. Professor Kiros is awesome and really knows his eastern philosophy. He always finds a way to make the conversations in our class as interesting as possible and always puts them in context for musicians. I always walked away from his class feeling like a better person and I highly recommend taking his course on Eastern Philosophy.
Eastern Philosophy is one of the best courses I have taken at Berklee. The reading is both challenging, and exciting, as well as the essay topics. Everything covered in the course is applicable to daily life. Teodros takes the role of a father, leading his children towards spiritual enlightenment. You come out of the class feeling healed.
Very interesting class.
He's one of the best teacher in the liberal arts department! He respects all students and he's class is enthusiastic! gotta take his class! No stress and fun.
Eastern Philosophy with Teodros was easily one of the most valuable courses I took at Berklee. He has an uncanny way of captivating a class, and provides a forum for real discussion. Take this class! There is a lot of reading, but the material is vastly important and the more of yourself you put into it, the more you get out.
He is very cool teacher. You should take his classes
Kiros is an amazing instructor and Philosopher. Only sign up for this class if you are willing to put in the time to read the material, but once you are in the class I can't imagine why you wouldn't. Kiros challenges his students to think about themselves and the world around them in ways you normally wouldn't. Do yourself a favor and enroll.
Wow, this teacher is very good. He is an Ethiopian revolutionary. Take this teacher if you can. I was lucky to have this professor. You must be able to do the readings or you can't participate.
This class is a great class to open your mind and teach you a different way of living, certainly a better way. I recommend this class for people who love reading and learning and working their brains, it's a wonderful class, and make the best out of it. Mr Kiros is a great teacher and a wonderful and genuine man. I throughly enjoyed this class.
this dude's sweet!
great class, great teacher. lots of reading, totally worth it. makes you think. very thorough in lectures. fun and interesting class discussions. recommended for any student.
Wonderful and brilliant teacher. I have learned a great deal about myself, others, and life in general. If you want to think and ponder deeply, and meditate on life, take any of Teodros's classes.
He is a very compassionate person and i truly feel grateful for even listening to him talk.
The Western Philosophy class is based in discussions between the students about several books from different philosophers. It's a great class to exercise the critic thinking and to understand the fundamentals of western philosophy.
Kiros is a very thoughtful teacher with a lot of insight. He will make you think in ways you never have before through the use of timeless texts including Plato's Republic and Machiavelli's The Prince. At the end of the course the subject matter switches from philosophy to the art of writing, where you get a crash course in using imagery.
I absolutely loved his Western Philosophy course ... ! Kiros said at the beginning he aimed to make us all better human beings by the end of it and I believe succeeded! The readings are hard, but totally worth it when you get to study it with such an amazing teacher. Both the discussions and lectures are great. Definitely take him for any course!
The way Dr. Kiros teaches Ethics penetrates the soul. Every reading, out of a considerable amount, was undoubtedly valuable, relevant, and much more often than not, emotionally gripping. From Plato to Zara Yacob to Emerson, Kiros uses many texts, including his own, to drastically impact the notion of what it means to be human.
After taking countless courses with Dr. Kiros I can truly say that I have yet to encounter such an amazing and compassionate educator as well as human being. Dr. Kiros creates a comfortable class environment and presents a forum for real discussion. It is a true blessing to be in the presence of such an incredible human being, thinker and educato
This class changed the dynamic of my entire semester. Each week I was nervous and excited to go. I knew I was going to be pushed to think differently. You'll benefit most if you vocalize your opinions. Don't be afraid to question both the students and the teacher. It's a great place to build character. I will definitely take another class wit
Teodros is probably the smartest person I will ever meet in my entire life. He is an amazing teacher. This was my first class with him, and I will definitely be taking his others. The workload can seem intimidating but it's doable and doing it helps you learn so much. Best teacher at Berklee.
Teodros will engage you intellectually like no other teacher. He will tell you that the class (Philosophy of Literature - in my case) will change your life. It most assuredly will. The subject material has changed the way I think as a whole. If you are someone who is willing to put in an effort, this class will reciprocate.
Philosophy of Literature with Professor Kiros is one of the most eye opening classes I've taken in terms of sheer material that we've covered that was relevant to my life. He really wants to mold you into a intellectual being that uses his/her artistic temperament to change the world and by taking this class I feel like a different person.
Teodros is an incredibly smart, incredibly focused man and teacher. While you may feel uncomfortable from time to time in his class, you are always learning, about yourself and about people. Take a class with Teodros only if you are willing to read a lot, and have a fair amount of confidence in your ability to handle arguments.
Kiros is a thought provoking teacher that rejoices in nothing more than seeing his students actively ponder and discuss philosophy in relation to the texts read in class. Its a tough and bumpy road but well worth the trip!
I took Kiros for Western Philosophy and haven't looked back. He guides his classes through difficult material in an accessible and enjoyable fashion. He won't let you sit around and veg out, so you may want to reconsider if you're not genuinely committed to expanding/opening your mind. That being said, its been a blast, I strongly recommend Kiros
I really enjoyed Teodros' class. Every session is like an open debate that everyone takes part in. We discussed many topics for every book we read (some pretty tangential but still interesting). There's a lot of reading for Philosophy of Literature, but it's enjoyable. I'll definitely take him again if I can.
Eastern Philosophy with Teodros Kiros is a journey to the depths of what it means to be human. Ancient texts are used as a foundation for class discussions geared towards finding meaning in life, and unity with existence. The class is relaxed but professional, and the environment created by Dr. Kiros invites participation among all.
Teodros is the best. He pushes you to think, and teaches you how to think. Every classes is an open discussion and will teach you about yourself and your art. He applies most of the material to music or what it means to be a musician and he makes sure you understand it so that you can benefit from it.
Professor Kiros is a great teacher and a wonderful man. I especially like the way in which he conducts the classroom: a (mostly) open-ended discourse amongst peers, as opposed to a "top-down" dictation/regurgitation setting. One of the few teachers I've had who insisted that I THINK!
Kiros was an incredible teacher to have and has influenced me to follow a Philosophy minor. His understanding of the subject could not be any more in depth and he is extremely attentive and open to all students who wish to voice their opinions on ethics. I highly recommend taking this class and any other classes he offers.
Solid Teacher. Makes you think. If you put in the work, you can improve a writer for sure.
Very intense but a very passionate professor
Teodros will open your mind and rip on you straight to your face if you don't try. His classes are not for you if you take things personally and you are sensitive but they are for you if you are ready to expand the way you learn.
Teodros is a great teacher for the serious student. He truly aims to improve the writing and analytical skills of his students. He shows great interest in his students and expects the same in return. Be prepared to do a lot of writing and discussion.
At first Teodros seems really strange and out of this world. You'll never have a teacher like him. But after a while you get used to it. He can be really harsh and straight forward in his criticism, but it can help you grow in the end. He helps you to think critically and to keep an open mind.
wonderful teacher who expects you to do all the work. If you don't do his way he might be a little rude.
Cares and respects his students. Makes every student get out of the comfort zone and exposes you sometimes to harsh but helpful criticism. Puts attention to the quality of your comments as well.
Teodros, a very gentle serious and calm philosopher. Very interested in carrying for students to a better developed understanding of the course contents. You will always be taken outside of your comfort zone, and brought to a better level of thinking that is applicable in real life. You will learn a lot from him, and you will thank yourself...
He is the absolute best teacher I have ever had. He really changed my view on the world, life, and myself. Take him if you have the chance, you wont regret it.
Professor Kiros is a thoughtful and inspiring writer, philosopher, and educator with important perspectives to share. Highly recommended.
Tedros is a very insightful man with a lot of cool things to say and some awesome perspective on the world. I would not recommend Philosophy of Education to non-ME majors that are not required to take the class.
Awesome professor. Is a wealth of knowledge and on the forefront of his field.
Thought-provoking teacher, I learned and thought a lot during his classes.
awesome class highly recommended
Very interesting, encouraging and inspiring. He encourages students to think.
Great educator, I would say this course should be mandatory for all the majors.
This class is unmatched, Philosophy at its finest. Our truths uncovered, unwound, and put eloquently under the microscope in the honest, open, supportive environment you were looking for...
Professor Kiros is a very brilliant, insightful teacher. I was amazed at how I saw the other students transform their way of thinking in the class, and opening up to new ideas. I highly recommend taking him, as long as your not afraid to speak freely and opening yourself up to new ideas.
Be ready to say something in class
Your opinion of him will depend greatly on your ability to strongly convey your opinions in class. Kiros respects strength of character, and he may take anything less with umbrage. Be clear in the way you voice your ideas, and be able to take any criticism that may come your direction.
This class presents philosophical concepts that are applicable to any area of study and one's personal life. You will learn to understand education, its purpose and its pitfalls and, most importantly, what kind of education YOU ARE going through. This course requires a lot of reading and if you dont do them the class will be boring. no homework
The class was boring and monotonous at first, but once Teodros started working his magic everyone got involved. By the end of the semester we were all having heated debates about the meaning of life and educational standards. Reading here and there, but it's possible to get an A without doing it. Highly recommend
High quality teacher and expects the same of his students. You learn alot and some kids in the class even start to question their thought process overall a great class!
Wonderful professor! Great discussions in class. Always a pleasure.
The class wasn't bad but it was more about friendship than ethics. If the class were labeled as such, it would be fine. Also, the discussions were a bit of a let down: the teacher seemed to prefer to hear from certain students and if a student that didn't necessarily agree with the teacher spoke, the teacher would almost cut that conversation off.
Started off being really intimidated by Teodros, he yells a lot and is very opinionated, but you quickly learn it's because he's really passionate about what he teaches and just really wants to make sure you understand. He's a great teacher, I would recommend him to any student at Berklee, you will learn a lot.
Scary at first, almost comes off as unethical. You find out that he just likes to bust your balls, doesnt actually hate you, and is pretty chill about late work. Very knowledgeable with alot of experience. Don't be afraid to be yourself and pay attention in class and you will be ok
He played devils advocate often which i like and prefer because people don't do that enough to themselves.
Very engaging classes. You need to do a lot of work to keep up with it but the class and materials are lots of fun!
Great teacher, provide wonderful space and insight for class discussions. Clearly has a passion for the success of his students.
Teodros is very passionate. His expectations are sometimes unclear but he always aims to further student learning. Do your reading and you will do well.
This class allows you to expand your way of thinking. You're motivated to challenge yourself, your peers, and the professor. Unlike most professors, he loves a great debate and is enthusiastic about opinionated students. If you love leaving class pondering the discussions, this is for you!
This course helped me understand what philosophy is and how to be an effective philosopher.
egoistical
Had him for Ethics, Very interesting, funny proffesor, love his method of teaching. Very knowledgeable, yet confusing. Not that hard in terms of workload but you will learn a lot in his classes.
The dude is a great guy, always willing to listen to you. The class is open so students can participate. One of the best classes I have ever taken at berklee
Teodros is quite simply a boss. Just the epitome of what a teacher should be. Just make sure you show up.
Wow this guy is the best. Take his class and you will be a great philosopher
Very engaging class. Professor Kiros is knowledgeable and passionate. Class isn't the conventional Berklee class though, so be ready for it.
Don't drop this class, stick with it and give your full attention to the professor. There is something to learn every day you attend this class.
Great teacher, very engaging class. Be prepared to read and know you material though. Must take for sure!
Professor Kiros is a very intelligent professor. He can be intimidating at first, but as long as you do what is asked of you and express interest during class he will warm up to you. He will change your outlook on philosophy and you will leave having learned many new concepts/ideas that can be applied to your everyday life.
Very interesting class. Teodros can be a bit of an oddball but once you warm up to him he's alright. The readings are thought provoking as well as the in class discussions
Professor Kiros is knowledgable and passionate but not very open to ideas of his opposition.
Fantastic teacher, you will learn so much from him if you put the effort in. The more you are present in the class the more fun it will be. Don't slack or it will be a bad experience.
Knowledgable and engaging, with an interesting sense of humor. Only take the class if you're interested in the subject matter. You can try to coast through if you want, but Kiros will call you out, frequently.
Professor Kiros is a great teacher and a kind, intelligent, admirable person. I really enjoyed his class, even though I wasn't sure what I'd be getting out of it in the beginning. Make sure if you take this class that you intend on doing the reading and learning the material inside and out. He's passionate about the material and wants you to learn.
Very interesting class. Kiros takes a little while to warm up to, but once you have established yourself, he will always go to bat for you!
Teodros Kiros is a wonderful and caring professor. HIs style of teaching is unique and it takes a few classes to get used to his methods. However, if you invest your time and do the readings, the class is extremely valuable and rewarding. Bring an open mind.
Teodros is a gem! Intense guy who definitely cares about his class, philosophy, and his students. Expect to do your reading and participate in class discussions because that's the class format! It has provoked some really thoughtful discussions with peers. Take this class! He is insightful and kind and you WILL learn a lot.
Teodros Kiros is a devoted and caring professor. His style of teaching is definitely unique and it takes a few of his classes to get used to his methods. If you do the readings and come to class with an open mind, Teodros conducts rewarding and meaningful discussions. I recommend Prof. Kiros to anyone who is serious about learning.
great guy. if you don't try you will hate the class. if you do the work then you will gain many great life concepts you might not get in a music class.
I have taken Teodros for several philosophy classes at Berklee. He is always knowledgeable and thoughtful on every subject he teaches and eastern philosophy is no exception. He wont try to intimidate with tedious lectures or pedantic assignments. Every subject is addressed carefully and genuinely. All that is required is a willingness to learn.
This is the second philosophy course i've taken with Kiros... Teodros is an intense teacher but a very loving soul. When you take his class just remember to be yourself, care about the readings, and you should be fine.
Best liberal art at Berklee. Teodros makes the subject so fascinating and interesting. If you read and connect deeply with the readings you'll be a better person with a broader view of the world by the end of the semester.
Great teacher knows his thing. Highly recommend.
He is so awesome! I loved taking him for Philosophy. He actually cares about you, is funny... Just cool guy :)
He is a true scholar. Extremely profound understanding of philosophy and literature which can be seen through his accolades and accomplishments. A true genius who is revolutionizing the way our generation views society.
Teodros is a great teacher and wonderful, caring person. His courses are thought provoking and intimate. Doing the required reading is a must otherwise you'll be in trouble. But he's always there for his students and will explain anything you need explained.
Teodros is a really awesome professor and his Eastern Philosophy class is definitely worth taking if you are interested in Eastern religion/spirituality/philosophy. He makes EVERYONE talk in class but it's a great learning environment and I always leave class feeling enlightened. :)
Teodros is a special kind of teacher, and if you let him help you he can change your life. I took an eastern philosophy course with Teodros and it was a great experience. I became close to many of the students in the class and I learned, not only about the history of eastern religion, but about myself. Thanks, Teodros!
Teodros Is one of the most inspirational Professors I've ever taken at Berklee. He opened my mind to so many different ways of viewing literally any topic. Class discussions bring such depth to the topics. Take him if you really want to learn. Lots of reading so don't slack off! Taking more of his classes for sure. Fantastic professor all around.
Kiros has the ability to clearly and concisely hone in on the points of a philosophical argument, and present it expertly to the class. He is able to cut away the unnecessary information, and leaves his students with the pure form of the topic, without confusion or a loopholes regarding the argument. Inspirational educator, hellbent on helping us.
Teodros is an incredible holy man being. His dedication and insight are very inspiring. The readings are all super interesting. Our class discussions leave me feeling energized and refreshed. He gives equal opportunity for all to speak their truth. In his office hours he is always open to hear you out. Brace yourself for the teodros experience ;)
Teodros Kiros is easily the most intellectually stimulating and culturally relevant liberal arts teacher I have encountered in my six semesters at Berklee. His classes are run as an intelligent discussion forum with equal consideration to all who participate. He challenges the student to engage in the readings in a deep and personal way. At times,
He's the man. Lots of reading and time outside of class is made up for by his energy and positivity. He makes you actually kinda almost want to do homework for once in your life.
Teodros is an amazing teacher who inspires studrnts to think deeply. Class is always held in a circle, and discussions are very engaging. Even the two-hour class flew by! Would DEFINITELY take him again
Teodros, is one of the greatest professors that I've ever had. He definitely opened my mind and gave me other was and means to thinking of things around. I tool Philosophy of Religion with him and one thing I feel I have to mention is that he touches base on all aspects equally. I would definitely consider taking other courses with him.
He exists in an atmosphere of knoladge and philisophycal understanding. Wise and tough he wants you to prove not to him but to yourself that you are able to digest and formulate thoughtfull opinions on the subject at hand.
Teodros is a character. He is an actor. He purposely instigates his students in order to get a reaction which is crucial in terms of his teaching methods. He plays devil's advocate for your benefit. He wants you to have great revelations. He is passionate about his cause. There is no way to sugar coat what you must learn under his wing.
Teodros loves his students very much. He cares about the success of every singe one of his students but you have to work for it! This man is filled with so much wisdom and will open your eyes to so many topics and possibilities.
Great teacher. Learned with every lecture. Very passionate very inspirational.
Truly a master teacher!!!
Teodros is an incredible and dedicated teacher. I grow as a thinker and as a person every time I take one of his classes. I love the readings, their stimulating and his classes are always engaging. Take this class if you want to grow!
The discussions were occasionally interesting, except for the times when he leads you to his own direction and challenges you to the point that you feel disrespected. He also reads straight off from the textbook as part of lecture, and he really cares about his how students perceive him. He gets very unhappy when you skip class or miss homework.
At first, I was super afraid of Teodros. He made his class seem like it was going to take hours to do his homework and I was constantly afraid I was going to fail. In fact, Teodros just likes to make his class seem like a really big deal so you take it seriously. Truly a caring man and has an amazing way of pushing kids. Take him for sure.
I entered Berklee without really having a full picture of what hidden gems this college has to offer. Professor Teodros Kiros is one of those gems. An inspirational teacher who encourages you to think deep into concepts that affect our day to day lives as both musicians and humans. I highly recommend his course on "Africana Philosophy".
He's a super fun teacher once you get to know him. Especially when it comes to presentations, he can be really understanding when it comes to stuff like presentations (especially if you got the dates mixed up). However COME TO CLASS PREPARED. Read the material and you're fine.
Prof. Kiros takes an interesting approach and will push a class out of their comfort zone. He likes to mess with students, but honestly if you are open, it will not be a problem and you will see how silly he is. Overall, he truly knows what he is talking about and makes classes interesting. However, he definitely will question you concisely.
Teodros is one of the nicest teachers I've taken. He respects everybody's background and provides a great learning setting for students to have healthy debates. He gets super in depth and makes you think, and sometimes will even make you re-think your own beliefs! He's not too pushy though - and you'll always leave the class feeling philosophical
Classes are heavily centered around discussions. A chosen student or two leads on a chapter. Sometimes these readings are assigned a week in advance, sometimes like a day before. If you are the type to regularly miss class DO NOT TAKE, he will throw a fit (no matter what the reason.) It feels like a lot of work, but it isn't. Have an open mind!
Very knowledgable. This class is more discussion based with injections of discourse to expand and bring the class together. Each class member also has a chance to present a chapter from the book to the class.
Teodros is probably the best professor I've ever had.
First of all, don't get all super hung up on the title of the class. Although its a class based up African Philosophy, I found it to be really mind blowing to the point that you actually stepped out of class for the day and you learned something. With that said, I highly recommend taking this class.
Teodros is truly amazing. I had him for Philosophy of Religion. You read a lot and talk a lot in a socratic-seminar fashion. He is truly is wonderful, caring guy who creates a wonderful environment to learn new perspectives. Wonderful class and teacher, would definitely take him again.
I have been personally enriched by studying under Teodros, who I regard as a gifted thinker and author. He is the one few professor at Berklee who looks at elements of life that people spend their whole lives avoiding. His class is very much in the vein of the Socratic dialogue, it's not his job to lecture, you must learn to discuss it together.
Teodros absolutely nutures a learning environment that helps students to better relate to some incredibly dense course material. His straightforward and somewhat humorous approach helped me to speak openly in a course that I otherwise would have stayed quiet in.
Teodros is a great professor! He is very committed to his students and to the material. Must do the readings because a big portion of the class is based on class discussions. I learned a lot from Teodros this semester, definitely recommended.
Teodros gives you reading to do every week but it's always very interesting. Discussion based class, he genuinely wants you to learn and think and will throw a lot of questions at you. How good the class is depends on the ppl in your class as it is a discussion based class.
Teodros will make you question every aspect of life and your existence, an experience that many people would be very well served to seek out, college studente in particular. Highly recommended. Also quite easy to get a good grade as long as you participate in class and write a couple of solid papers.
Teodros is a great teacher and philosopher. He conveys a lot of emotion and can get personal but in a good way. He care about his students and has great charisma.
Teodros not only delves deep into the material but makes sure his students think critically and understand the material.
Absolute gem
Very inspirational, get ready to feel challenged , and dont be afraid to be vulnerable with expressing your ideas
Teodros is one of the most amazing teachers Ive had. He is such a beautiful soul with so much insight. I feel honored to take a class with him, and I will contintue takes all of his classes. I would highly recommend this amazing professor, he is always showing profound love to his students and have immense empathy. He is such a wonderful being.
Good!
Really knowledgeable about the subject. Get ready to think!
Allows students to participate in in-depth conversations - unafraid to challenge every viewpoint on art
Great readings, great topics, don't miss class and read. You will gain awareness about you and about the all world! Take him
Teodros is a great and passionate professor and a great writer with a positive method of teaching.
Hes a good teacher and he cares for students.
good class
A great professor with a great learning environment where everyone can speak there minds with no judgement.
If you want to be inspired and have fantastic mind opening discussions you should take a class with Teodros. He's the most passionate and caring professor I've ever had.
Teodros is one of a kind. I learned so much from him in his Eastern Philosophy course. He is kind, respectful, and deeply cares about his students. I would absolutely recommend any of his classes to anyone.
One of my favourite classes at Berklee, I would highly recommend his Eastern Philosophy Class.
Teodros is one of the greats professors I have yet to have! He is an extremely knowledgeable and real professor.
Teodros brings a glowing personality to Eastern Philosophy. His performative readings breath life into the texthis passion is unmistakable. He expects his students to read, as assigned, but doesnt necessarily check (though he probably still knows). Participation counts. Expect an environment where anyone can say anything.
Teodros is a man who likes being good at what he does. And because of that he is an outstanding Philosophy professor with a unique personality. Very open and safe space in class. Only class I took in college where everyone connected and became friends with one another. I wish it was a yearlong class. My favourite class to attend so far.
Teodros is easily one of the best teachers I've had at Berklee. His passion is rivaled by few, and his knowledge perhaps by none. He has strong opinions, but he balances them with an open mind and a very strong capacity to listen. You'll never feel attacked in his class, even when discussing hot-topic issues. He's a treasure. Take him.
A genuine light within the Berklee Faculty Staff, This professor is inspired, and truly cares about the cognitive and personal development of every student. No busy work here, everything is geared towards your understanding without waste or excess. If you're at this school, and have the chance to take his class, do not miss the opportunity.
Teodros is a very kind and caring man but dont think that you can take this course lightly. There's not much homework outside of the reading but get ready to get some heat if you dont do it.
Good man, very interested in his work.
He's very intense, but your mind will definitely grow. If you like talking, you'll learn to listen. If you like to listen, you'll learn to speak your mind.
Hes great
Teodros assigns plenty of reading. Sometimes it was a lot and other times it was very easy reads. He does a good job of explaining the materials during class meetings. Sometimes he would go off on longer tangents than he might have expected so he does need to think about that more. If you are not opened minded, do not take a philosophy course
Teodros is a really amazing teacher, he truly cares about the texts. And there is A LOT of reading to do, but its all stuff that makes you think. Some of the things he says can be jarring sometimes and he goes on some tangents, but he just wants his students to step out of their comfort zone. Do not take this class if you are not open minded.
Teodros makes any piece he reads interesting. He is bold and outspoken not afraid to ask questions and be questioned. An amazing professor that does not teach in a mediocre way!
Teodros is a deep knower of the world philosophies and life in general. Get ready to read some inspirational excerpts and amplify your knowledge about life.
Hes a great man who really cares about each of his students. He truly wants to see them succeed.
Teodros is one of the greatest people ive ever met. im so honored to be able to take another class with him. he has so much knowledge to offer, and has so much passion for life.
Teodros is a very caring and amazing person. He makes sure everyones opinion is heard and the way his mind works is just beautiful.
Teodros is a true gem. The most caring and inspirational teacher I've ever experienced here at Berklee. He pushed you to do your best work because he believes you can truly do it. Do the readings, speak your mind, and you'll be fine.
Lot's of thought provoking group discussions.
Good class environment. Engaging discussions. Would recommend it.
Teodros is a phenomenal professor with passion and knowledge. He loves each and every one of his students and works to engage all of them. This is not a class youre going to want to miss. The readings make you think about your life and your beliefs, and the discussions in class are even more moving. He is my favorite professor and is the best!
Wonderful teacher that is always trying to push his students
Cool and understanding guy. Very knowledgeable but does not share it that much. Class is very textbook oriented and there has been only a few times where we discussed anything besides it. Learned a lot of things but wish he could present his philosophical output more..
learned a lot and had a great liberal arts class at berklee
Teodros knows this stuff inside and out. You do need to have physical copies of 8 TEXTBOOKS, most of which you won't end up reading (come on, let's be real). He is loud when lecturing and sounds almost angry when reading from the text, and he picks out individuals to interpret the text and present week to week, so be ready to read and talk a lot.
Passionate professor and inspirational person. Learned a lot more than philosophy in this class.
An amazing guy whos written a dozen books, some of which we discuss in class. Incredibly personal involving every student in class and asking them questions that make them open up about all sorts of crazy philosophical things. Blows my mind almost every class, taking again next semester
Hes very caring and hilarious! has a deep understanding on the subject and makes a great effort to discuss in class with examples that break down the assigned readings. Only 2 papers, its really about class discussions and reading at home! Highly recommend, he wants his students to succeed!
Teodros is a very wonderfully smart person who cares deeply about the well being of his students. He has a large passion and insight for these philosophies and will leave you thinking for days. If you listen to him and read the material you will notice a profoud difference in your life and work.
I absolutely loved this class. Professor Kiros cares so much for his students and helps them grow intellectually and personally. He is always encouraging us to become better artists and human beings. I learned a lot from all the lectures. Absolutely one of the best professor Ive ever taken at Berklee !!! I regret not taking more courses with him.
Amazing teacher, participate and do the readings youll be fine. You WILL learn , and grow from this class. Teodros is a very inspired and inspiring teacher- I would recommend him to anyone.
Professor Kiros is the best teacher I have had, period. After every class I left with a new perception of the world. He doesnt bury you in a lot of homework and projects He cares most that you are engaged in the discussions. He challenges your beliefs, he is inspirational, and he cares deeply about his students. Take him!
Teodros sees every student as an equal human being. He lectures and lets the class discuss for almost the whole period. He is very sweet, very straight-forward, and speaks his mind adamantly. This was my favorite class of the semester, I HIGHLY recommend.
Theodros gets some unreasonable reviews by students who are not ready to take this course. Theodros is an exceptional professor and speaker. Along with the course material, you will learn so much more that could possibly be even more valuable. If you think you are ready to take this course, do so and you won't regret it.
Teodros is an excellent professor. He is incredibly knowledgable on the subject matter and creates a very respectful and engaging environment for discussion. The class does entail a lot of reading so be prepared for that. He also expects his students to offer input on all the topics. I've very much enjoyed learning from him and getting his insights
He is truly passionate about the subject. And really takes the time to know his students . He also creates a safe environment for the students to give their opinions freely without judgements.
I really enjoyed learning from Teodros. In the beginning I was a little frightened of his strong persona but I then got to know his throughout the classes and Teodros really does cares for his students and wants you to be able to put the content in class into your own life.
conversational/forum style class. great teacher and very knowledgable about philosophy, good at fostering understanding of tough concepts
Great human and gives powerful new perspectives.
Valuable Time, sure that I will miss it.
Great
Really intense but worth it.
Kiros provides a very refreshing change of perspective and insight.
Lots of reading, but very, very informative. Lots of discussion of material that encourages thinking.
Teodros is amazing. He is really caring about you as a person. Makes you read a lot, but the reading is good and the discussions in class are meaningful to you as a musician and as human. As long as you read, go to class and participate in the discussions grades shouldnt be a problem.
One of the best professors at Berklee. Lots of reading but it pays off.
Teodros Philosophy lectures are truly amazing! His passion for it is really contagious and you not only learn from that but also about how to be a better musician and human being. I couldnt be more grateful to having been able to take his class, he is one of the best teachers! The lectures are heavy but thats how you learn so much in his classes!
Teodros is a very knowledgeable professor of his field. He opens the class up to discussions that can go on for over an hour. I find that I learn so much more this because he engages everyone in the class and gives them a chance to speak. Be ready to read and answer questions about the reading each week, he will know if you didn't read!
Professor Kiros is an amazing human being and all his lectures were worth it. He is very knowledgeable about the subject and is very clear in his approach to the subjects.
While there is a quite bit of reading, it is chosen carefully. Professor Kiros truly understands the subject and is great at articulating through class discussions and lectures. While he may seem very intense, he is just passionate about the subject the teaches and his students.
Every time I walk out of his class I have a different perspective on life. Professor Kiros is brilliant. He is not afraid to challenge your beliefs, but if you come to class with an open mind, you will learn so much. Dont be afraid by the amount of reading - if you dont read you can still get an A. But read! The books are worth reading.
Teodros is a very knowledgable professor and is greatly passionate about the subject, but you MUST read in order to do well in his class. He gets very upset when students are unable to read, though often times we are given very short notice by him, in some circumstances less than 24 hours to buy a book and read the first few chapters.
Best liberal arts at berklee
Teodros is fantastic and a fascinating professor. I took him for Aesthetics and am signing up for Western Philosophy next semester. Don't take if you're expecting to be able to not do the reading as he gets everyone involved in the discussion. Not possible to be a wallflower in this class but it is incredibly rewarding.
Teodros is a very intense person and is very strict about doing the homework and participating in class, but taking his classes has really enhanced my knowledge of philosophy and has completely changed my worldview. His classes are discussion based and a community is created within the classroom throughout the semester. I would highly recommend!
Favorite Liberal Arts class during my time at Berklee. Super knowledgeable on what he teaches.
Do the readings (Im personally not much of a reader, but theyre pretty easy to read), and make sure to speak and listen in class. Its really great!
Teodros is an outgoing and insightful teacher. He knows a lot about what he teaches and opens the class for a lot of interesting discussions that range from a various amount of perspectives. He pushes your average student outside their comfort zone to talk about topics they are passionate about.
Teodros did an amazing job relating aesthetics with our musical practice
Get ready to get your life changed if you take a class with this Man. Probably one of the best classes Ive had at Berklee.
Teodros cares for his students and challenges their minds. He creates a great environment for his students to be open and honest. While he will question you and your beliefs, the class is all about learning new things and challenging yourself.
Wonderful teacher who will push you to your limit mentally and existentially. He will expand your mind and comprehension of whatever subject you take with him tenfold, and you will get so much out of it. TAKE CLASSES WITH TEODROS.
I'm very humble to have been a student of professor Teodros Kiros, he is a very knowledgable and respectful person and teacher.
Awesome. He's a great teacher who cares and enjoys hearing students speak.
Teodros is a bold teacher. He does not shy away from important/controversial classroom discussions. He's very kind and breeds a really vibrant class room environment. I love the material he teaches and I love all the classroom discussions. I recommend him and I'd definitely take him again.
He's a real character! Lovely guy, you will learn a whole lot if you stay open. It's a class everyone I think everyone should take once in their lifetime.
Teodros is very passionate about the courses that he teaches and I admire him immensely for it. Although there is a lot of reading, I've had a more profound view of the world because of him. He will be tough. He will be demanding. He will stir controversy. He gives students a platform to voice their opinions.
I believe that he is very knowledgable in the area, and can speak about any subject that is brought up. He forces people to participate and I believe that that is the only way to learn by thinking. He has helped me be more open and stubborn about my ideas and gives the space for student to be intellectually uncomfortable which is a process in learn
Taking a class with Teodros will cause you to grow as a intellectual/person. As with any teacher he has faults, he has a tendency (only on some days) to misunderstand what students are saying. If you have a small amount of patience (as we all should) take a class with him! I have learned so much! btw he's really intense so be prepared.
If you gain anything from taking Teodros, its that he's extremely opinionated. In my opinion that is the most important thing about a teacher, by studying the material from their perspective, it informs your perspective whether you agree or disagree.
One thing is for sure, it's not like any other courses at Berklee
Teodros is one of the few Berklee teachers I have 100% respect for. Taking him is the best decision you will make not just for yourself but for your overall education. If you want to be challenged and want to be inspired, if you need a change of pace from the regular lackadaisical Berklee, take this mans course!
I love how this class is discussion based. Teodros is also very understanding of external circumstances of something is going on or if something happened to you during the semester that will affect your attendance. You will learn no matter what because he finds a way of catering to each student... Their strengths and their weaknesses.
Teodros must be one of the most respected teachers at Berklee. He is beyond wise and inspirational, and you actually learn how to become a better person in his classes. If you want a real liberal arts experience, take this man's classes.
Teodros is a very complicated teacher. Pros: Extremely engaging, challenges his students with ideas and makes sure everyone's opinion is heard, gives us very profound reading material. Cons: At times unfair and unorganized when it comes to the readings and assignments. Not a student for everyone but if you want to be challenged to think go for it.
I took western philosophy as a throwaway to fill in credits, and it ended up being one of my favorite classes at berklee so far. Teodros is a great teacher, and never failed to make the material engaging and interesting. Overall one of the best teachers I've had at berklee, although he can be quite harsh when you haven't done the reading.
This class is an experience. It may have seemed awkward and scary at first, but the class got much more comfortable as time passed. Teodros is well-respected as he is knowledgable and also kind and understanding. I didn't expect there to be so much discussion, but all that helped me really learn so much more about philosophy and also myself.
I really enjoyed Teodros's Western Philosophy class. He does a great job at challenging us students to apply and relate the subject matter to our own lives and experiences. Just be ready to manage your time well - there is lots of reading every week.
He challenges you to think every class. You find yourself in in very uncomfortable situations in his class, but it makes you think and thats what philosophy is about.
Teodros is a wonderful professor who will challenge you to examine your way of thinking. He also creates a comfortable classroom environment in which students become open to sharing their ideas and experiences. Be prepared to do a lot of reading.
He's the best teacher at Berklee
If you speak in class & give your honest opinions, youre good to go.
He's cool
Great class, lots of inspiring conversation. I would recommend taking this class for an inspirational and thought-provoking challenge. I spent majority of my time thinking outside class time and having conversations fueled by the class content. If you want an easy A with no class attendance, I wouldn't recommend this class.
Teodros installs respect and seriousness in his class from the very start. This enables philosophical texts to be understood fully. He dives into the material to inspire your creativity and permits a broadening, through philosophy, of new life perspective. For this to be possible, he asks for your presence and to read often, every week.
This class will become a big part of your schedule and youll have to spend a lot of time thinking about it outside of class, but if you have a few extra hours a week to spend thinking about big ideas I highly recommend this class
Teodros knows his stuff if you're interested in philosphy and are prepared to do the reading you will love his class. If you're just trying to get a lib arts credit out of the way without coming to class it's not going to be fun. overall good guy.
Take a class with Teodros!!!
Teodros is unlike many professors I've had. Each class meeting will be memorable either for the conversations, the spontaneous musical performances, or a number of fun Teodros moments. His passion for this subject is immense, and inspires even the most early learners of philosophy.
Teodros is a great professor! He really leads the discussions into really important subjects and lets the students speak their minds. He is also truly interested in you as an individual. He can be a little intense, so if you're not on top of your work be prepared to receive a lecture! All in all, he's great.
His book choice is on point and one doesn't necessarily feel obligated to the readings but rather motivated due to the way he connects the texts to our daily/current situation and lifestyle. Inspires students to think and be more communicative among our peers.
If you want to learn philosophy take Teodros. His readings are the best of the best in my opinion and each class is spent just discussing what you read. You bond with your class mates and gain spiritual knowledge. I've learned so much from him and will miss him dearly. He's a really understanding teacher. The class room environment is very free.
Teodros Kiros makes the difficult subject of philosophy accessible to newcomers and veterans alike by relating the material to relevant issues of today and engaging each student. He gets his students to realize their inner potential to be great thinkers by having them elaborate on their thoughts at a high level. His classes are never boring.
Teodros is an amazing teacher, and has opened my eyes to the world of philosophy in his Aesthetics class. This was my first time with the subject he's been wonderful. Provocative and intense teaching style, worked great for how I learn. We read the textbook for every week and even the dense material was made clear during class.
If you're deeply invested in making art, take his aesthetics class. It can be intense and challenging occasionally, but it is well worth your time.
Teodros engages everyone in discussion and respects all takes on a subject. There is a lot of weekly reading which must be read in order to participate but the classroom environment he creates is special. My class got moved online which wasn't as engaging, but before that the class was great. He really does love philosophy and his students.
If you want to read some amazing philosophy-take this course. Not only will you be studying the best of the best, you get to discuss what you learn every class. Thats all we do. Read and then discuss. It's awesome. You learn a lot and bond with your class mates. Its a really freedom driven environment, and Teodros is a hoot! He is a character.
If you want a teacher who will challenge the way you think about life and inform your personal ethics, Teodros is the guy. No matter whether you agree or disagree with his positions, there's always something to learn from him. This class on Eastern Philosophy opened my perspective on the meaning of existence and what living a good life means.
good philosophy teacher, would recommend his eastern philosophy course over the other ones. its a good idea to do the reading to keep up with the in class discussions.
I've take both his African and his Eastern Philosophy courses, and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that these have been two of my favorite and most influential classes I've taken. You should take this class for a number of reasons, but to sit next to such an amazing mind and to soak up his intellect, as well as his kindness, is a gift.
Teodros is a very engaging individual who has very strong opinions that he will bring up during class, if you are not ready for loud and hard-headed teaching then I wouldn't take his class. He challenges his students, but for all of his hard-headedness and difficult nature, he has a kind heart and wants what's best for his students. I like him.
Teodros is one of the most amazing professors I've ever had. He is a fantastic, loving human being who cares so much about his students. He spends the time to get to know each student and creates an environment of respect, love, and clarity. The connections I made with the other beings in each philosophy class are unlike any other connections made.
Not really sure how grading works but the class is very discussion based and always very interesting. You have to do the readings and you're only allowed one absence. Great class.
As engaging as a philosophy class in a music school can be. Quality of class might depend on how much you and your classmates have to say. If you're not a specific kind of person, discussions can feel sometimes feel alienating.
Genuinely enjoyed this course. Gained wonderful insight and new knowledge about African Philosophy. If you're looking to be pushed outside of your comfort zone and be challenged through thoughtful discussion then this is the class to take!
Teodros is a very sweet man with a true passion for educating students on philosophy and life lessons. His lessons are engaging, controversial, and informative, as he is an extremely articulate individual who has a lot of research and life experience to back up his hard opinions. Be ready to participate, and share your real self and ideas.
Teodros is so passionate and knowledgeable about what he is talking about. His assignments are not extensive. As long as you read the few assigned pages you are able to have a really informed time in discussion. It's intriguing how much you learn about each other not only as classmates but as fellow humans, advocating human thought and compassion.
He is a great teacher. Overall Really knowledgeable man. You just have to have thick skin in his class. He can come off rude at times but he means so well and he is trying to get you to open up on certain topics. Let's just say it get REAL in his class, and that is the beauty in it. We are facing topics that most of us have never talked about.
Teodros is a gem. He facilitates insightful discussions; he gives us, as students, a platform to lead the class, but still guides our conversations with grace. If you enjoy learning through discussion, this is the course for you. Teodros is extremely intelligent and respectable: a candid man with a heart of gold. Highly recommend taking his classes
Teodros really challenges you and your mind. If you want to be challenged and learn a lot, read good books, and read even his own writings, you should definitely take this class!
Best in-class discussion I have ever had. You read some amazing literature, and then come into the class and have an engaging discussion with your peers. A class that every student should consider for sure.
Teodros is an inspiration in so many ways, and changed the way I think about so many things in life! Although he can be intense and at times hard on you when you don't adequately prepare, he is only trying to challenge you to be the best that you can!
Teodros is a very opinionated, intense professor. Often times, Teodros will proclaim things that I do not agree with, and go on intellectual rants. However, this not a bad thing. He challenges students to think in ways that contradict the ways they already think, and forces them to empathize with new ideas. This class will expand your mind immensly
Teodros is a very smart teacher who definitely knows what he's talking about. A lot of the material is difficult to understand and he explains it in a very understanding way. Just be prepared to buy a lot of books for this course and he takes attendance very seriously.
Teodros Kiros' class was among the most mentally stimulating I have ever experienced. It is pretty much entirely discussion based, the discussion based on mandatory reading. I doubt another teacher would be able to get these discussions to the depth they were at in our class. I would recommend Aesthetics w/ Teodros!
Teodros is one of the most real people in the entire world. He is always willing to learn from his students, he is a completely open book, and constantly guides the entire class period through one question. Everyone in the class is able to respond and interact, and are truly challenged to think philosophically
Teodros makes you think about the world from a completely different point of view. Class is fun to go to.
Teodros is awesome. Make sure that u participate tho
Teodros is a great teacher and writer. There is lots of reading but the class is mostly discussion based. Its a very interesting class and I would highly recommend this class to anyone. You are required to buy a few books and write a few papers.
Great professor. Just do the reading, show up and try. Teodros is all about the discussion and will be super real and challenge you. One of my favorite professors at Berklee, a course with him is definitely an experience.
I loved this class. even though it was online, Teodros still made sure we all got a lot out of the readings and the discussion. He really cares about his students, and though the class entailed a lot of reading, Teodros will make it worthwhile whether you like reading or not.
Teodros treats you like a person rather than as a student. You must participate if you want to do well. It's heavily reliant on discussions, where he openly challenges your positions and encourages you to challenge his. It brought me out of my comfort zone and helped me get better at voicing my honest opinions, which I have struggled with.
Teodros is a very motivational teacher. He opened my eyes and made me want to change the world for the better.
Many people like this guy, and I can understand why, but I didn't really click with him. He likes to hear all kinds of opinions, including bigoted ones, which as a minority made me feel unsafe on occasion. Some of the class discussions were really fascinating though, and I highly recommend taking a philosophy class whether it's with Teodros or not.
Truly an intellectual professor that will push to get a well-thought-out answer out of each and every one of his students to the most highest and most professional of his ability.
Not even gonna cap, this man is crazy but can be funny. He definitely cares about what he's teaching. Take one of his classes, you'll always have something to talk about.
He was such an amazing professor. Attendance is important and he makes you do the reading, but his class is so fun, and you actually become invested where time goes by fast. He is such an incredible teacher, who really challenges your thinking. I would defiantly take him again.
Teodros is a good philosopher, I've already taken his eastern and western philosophy courses which I enjoyed and I enjoyed ethics as well. He's inflammatory at times, though I'm convinced he just does it to get people talking and it definitely works
This class challenges me and my worldview, which is amazing! I recommend taking this class if you like reading and if you like to voice out your opinions
Lots to read and talk about. Get ready to get personal if you're going to participate in this class.
Teodros has changed my outlook on life in many ways, for the better. He is extremely respectful and allows for each and every student to have a voice during every meeting. He truly is a gem. I couldn't recommend him more. You will not regret taking a class with him. I love this man.
Teodros is the best. His courses teach you how to think, and class discussions are always interesting. He will introduced you to the best of the best philosophers and explore their ideas in an easily digestible way. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to expand their worldview and understanding of philosophy.
I was a little nervous at first because Im not good at speaking in class and voicing my opinion, In this class I was given a slight push, he's a very opinionated teacher and also kind teacher and he'll be hard on you but all around good teacher and course.
One of the most incredible human beings you will meet. He is an expert in moral philosophy and it shows.
Very intelligent and caring professor. Can be a bit intimidating at first but just wants to push us to have intellectual conversations and to know our minds! Thought about some very insightful and deep topics that I will continue to use throughout my life.
He will make you reevaluate your perspective on the world through serious readings as well as class discussions
Teodros Kiros is a great thinker. He truly respects all of his students and encourages them to think deeply and be critical. He also really appreciates humor which makes his class a very comfortable environment.
Teodros is one of the most amazing human beings I have ever met in my life. To have him as a professor is really a privilege. So knowledgable, so insightful and such an amazing soul. You'll leave the course a different person.
Great professor. Authentic, respectful, generous, knowledgeable, caring, truthful, intelligent, highly recommended :)
Intimidating at first, but if you do the readings, be attentive in class, listen to your peers and participate, this is probably the most fruitful professor you can have at Berklee. Invaluable lessons to be learned from Kiros.
The learning environment Teodros creates in class is incredibly unique. The class discussions are engaging and extremely thought provoking. He can be slightly intimidating, but overall a great professor.
Professor Kiros was one of the most respectful and knowledgeable teachers I have ever had. The conversations we had were so inspirational too. I will continue to take his classes and I recommend anyone that has a passion for philosophy not to hesitate to take his courses.
This was my favourite class this semester. The discussions we had in class were so inspiring. In this class, we had conversations that I wish I could have everyday. He made me want to minor in philosophy. Take this class if you really want to expand your mind! He will help you re-examine the way you see the universe.
Professor Kiros was really mindful of his students' backgrounds and personalities and makes sure everyone has the ability to chime in during discussion (which was most of the class).
Discussions about religion done all through class discussion/debate
Teodros genuinely cares about what you think, and he's extremely accommodating to anyone, no matter your point of view. He can be a bit intimidating at first, but once you get to know him, he really cares about you. He's someone whose lessons stick with you for years after you finish his class.
Teodros is a LOVELY man! I thoroughly enjoyed this course with him and it was likely my favourite course this semester. He is knowledgable and inspiring. I have never had a teacher so interested and devoted to his students - he invites everyone to speak and tries to learn from every single one of us. Take ANY of his classes!!
Teodros knows exactly what buttons to press to develop the thinking and feeling of his students. He treats us with compassion, empowers us, and opens our minds. He is generous, warm, and loving. He is so authentic and uncensored that you could call it a fault, but I love it. You GOTTA do the readings and always show up! But it's so worth it.
Amazing Professor! Great lectures, very inspirational and thought provoking!
"No one's paying me to be critical. It would be much easier to come in here, give you a dumb lecture, and go on my way. I'm here to help you and I'm here to guide you and no one's gonna stop me." Teodros is a fantastic teacher who cares about us as students and is truly here for US. Read the passages, speak your mind, and you'll do just fine.
If you're truly, truly willing to be deeply challenged; to have your morality, faith, and reasoning questioned and explored, then I implore all Berklee students to take Ethics with Teodros. If you're willing to learn, I guarantee that you will be enlightened about every aspect of life.
I have to push back on most of these reviews. While Teodros' passion is unmatched and the discussions he sparked have been among the most thought-provoking discussions of my life, he has no clear grading criteria (just do the reading and participate thoughtfully!! isn't enough) and he's unreachable outside of class. Don't bother trying to email him
To address the awful review, Teodros is a professor who cares deeply and truly wants to teach you. Finding teachers who care about us is rare. He is highly passionate about everything he speaks about and will drive you to deep and impactful discussions. The course is not about the grade, it is about the knowledge, just like every course should be!
Professor Kiros is a highly accomplished and inspirational teacher. This class is crucial to those who want to expand their minds. It is required however, that one is open-minded coming in. There are heavy readings and discussions every class, that enriches the mind and spirit. I definitely recommend taking this course.
Extremely insightful professor/philosopher, lots of discussion, sometimes unclear expectation for reading, but an EXTREMELY beneficial professor to take to better mental health (especially in his Eastern Philosophy class...other's might cause more anxiety because he might just break your brain a bit). Point is, TAKE HIS CLASS!
The best way to get enjoyment and insight out of this class is to really engage with the material. Come having read the book and have some questions or observations, it's difficult to engage in discussion otherwise
Teodros is very passionate and knowledgeable about the subject matter and his class is one of the most engaging I have taken. He may appear tough at first but it is just his way of conversing with his students and getting everyone to talk about their opinions and open up. The class is like a community.
Taking multiple classes with Teodros has been one of my biggest takeaways from Berklee. Truly life changing material. Do the readings and engage in the discussions and you will get so much out of his class
Teodros is one of the only professors at Berklee who is a real person. He treats everyone with respect, but is not afraid to challenge points of view. I'd highly recommend any of his courses, as I believe the way he teaches will positively affect whomever takes his course.
I wanted to address the review regarding Teodros being an anti-semitic professor. This is completely untrue, not once have I heard him make a negative comment based on somebody's race, gender, religion, etc. He actually preaches quite the opposite, that all humans should be treated with kindness and respect.
Teodros's class is a great environment for discourse and doesn't shy away from relevant subjects, including events in Gaza. This has been greatly appreciated by all but a few students. Trust that only those who believe it anti-semitic to merely suggest that Palestinian lives have value would come to this website and accuse Teodros of anti-semitism.
This is singlehandedly the best teacher in all of Berklee. He is an absolute genius and the most real and caring professor I have ever had.
One of the greatest teachers I ever had the pleasure and honor of taking two courses from at Berklee.
Teodros is a top-notch professor who brings Eastern philosophy to life. Engaging lectures, challenging material, but worth it - aided by unstuckstudy AI for efficient study prep.
