just read the book and youll do fine.
He should be fired. Because of his accent you can't understand a thing from what he is saying, doesn't explain anything and will read the whole lecture to you. You can either sleep in the class or stay at home. Test questions are from the study guide.

You cant understand anything he says because of his accent, and even if you do, you find out that maybe you were better off not understanding. Good man,easy tests,but shouldnt be a teacher!!! horrible to be in class!!!

Good guy...funny, but CAN'T teach for his life! Reads everything from the slides or the book nothing is ever in his own words. Tests are not so bad just read the book and look at the study guide along with the mock exam he gives before the test.

Agebeygbe, very hard to uderstand him, unless u sit close, his exams arent dificult, BUT GIVES YOU CURVES! student with and F in the class usually gets D, u can even take the D for class instead of Credit/No credit.

This guy is a ****! He is not helpful at all. He has an accent which makes it difficult to pay attention. I would not take a class with him again even if I needed it to graduate!!
This guy is the WORST professor at Hunter. I read what they all said but still took his class. It was boring, confusing, and hard. There is no such "mock' exams. His exams are tricky and hard. He reads straight from the book and slides. He makes corny jokes that no one understands. Not a helpful guy at all. returns the exams after a month or so.

seems like a nice guy, just not a good teacher, i felt bad fo him it was a big classroom (7th flr audit) and only like 20 students tops would show, by the end half were gone and half the ones left were asleep
I am taking a class with him, and I hate it. I am interested in Economics but he knocked the fun out of it. He rambles, doesn't explain and isn't of much inspiration for me. I mean, he knows what he's talking about, but he can't teach, he doesn't know how. Never again will I take a class with this professor. He complicates things too much.
I dunno why Hunter hired this guy. He mumbles all the time. Not clear at all. Does not explain material. No one gets A's in his tricky definition-based MC exams. Study on your own and you still will barely pass. DO NOT TAKE HIM AT ANY COST.
He's not as bad as they say he is. If you sit up front and you have a brain.. you'll do fine. Second exam was hard as hell. the rest were fine. no hw for his class. just read and go to class. material can get confusing + book sucks.. if u want a guaranteed good grade.. take someone else but overall he's ok
He's a good person, tries to be funny occasionally. But he's a terrible professor. He lectures straight from the slides that are available from blackboard. He reads them, then tries to explain it by summerizing the slide. The slides are produced by the same people who make the textbook, so really, going to class is highly unnecessary.
He is not very clear. You basically have to read from the textbook and teach yourself.

This guy cant teach. I took his class and passed it, but I didn't learn anything. If you want to wing a economics class this is it. you don't even need to show up to class.
Horrible accent and extremely boring
Now im going to be honest here. He is an excellent professor to take. His accent is NOT AS BAD as people are exaggerating about! I am an economics major and DO recommend him. You learn in this class as long as YOU are willing to put in the work.The work generally come from the notes and BB. Exams are multiple choice how else can you go wrong.

It's true he isn't as bad as everyone says. His accent is not that strong and he makes little jokes to keep the class alive but come on, economics can be boring. It's not really his fault.

horrible! could not understand a word he said. read str8 from the slides that are on blackboard. i tought my self with the textbook and the online pratice quizes. does give review sheets but tother than that no need to attend. the only word i understood was economics and he didnt use the microphone for a class of 170+. avoid him if you can!!

most boring professor in the world i hate the class his test are very hard he doesnt even care about wat grades you get and isnt willing to help you get a better grade.
He spends so much time to set up PC to play slides, and read them, but he even doesn't know how to plug PC into the wall. So if TA is not there he is stuck. Once he was setting a mic for 15 min. but later he didn't use it. Once AC was to loud but he didn't know how to turn it off, was easy.He use old exams that are not following the textbook.
I am a junior and Temisan is the worst professor that I have ever had. To start he is technologically brain-dead, he cannot figure out how to work a microphone for a class of almost 150 students and takes ages to set up his powerpoints. Second, he does not teach, he simply reads off powerpoint slides that came with our textbook.
Can't understand him, 80% of class never show up except for exams because no one can understand him, either way all he does is read from power point. had to teach my self, test are not easy but fair. would not recommend him. would urge to avoid him.

I'm surprised this man is still teaching. I remember the horror of going to that class and his laughing at jokes no one understands. There are better teachers than him. I urge you to take any other but him, he is awful, useless and boring. The reason why I changed my minor... that class was torture.

This is a hard class. I would not recommend this guy. He gives a review sheet for each exam. Maybe 2-3 questions are from the review sheet. The first 2 exams are 50 ques each, the finals 100 ques.

Nice Guy. Decent teacher. 1 Hw assignment all semester, extra credit. 2 midterms that are somewhat tricky. Study the power points and review sheets, most of the questions come straight from them. Got an A with minimal effort
He doesn't curve but makes up for that by providing many review questions and at least half of the questions on the exam are from the review sheets. Overall his class wasn't hard.
He is not as bad as people make him out to be years ago. I took Intro to Macro, & currently taking Inter Macro w/him. He has an accent but clear enough to understand, unlike many of the Accounting profs(J. Kim). He gives quizzes for every chapter, 1 midterm & a 100 q long final. His jokes are 1 of the reasons I decided to take Terence again.
He is useless as a professor who cannot teach. He laughs at his dumb jokes. Two exams of 50 quest. which are okay if you study(read txtbk and review sheets). The final has 100 questions (cumulative) which are tricky so make sure you study. He takes attendance towards the end of each class and gives quizzes. Avoid if possible.
Honestly this professor isn't THAT bad, if you study the text book or at least his lecture notes you will do fine. Quizzes are super easy so are his exams, he gives reviews. The final can be tricky. If u get below a B ur just lazy..

Absolutely HORRIBLE professor. Did not "teach" anything. Merely read from the slides pre-prepared by the textbook authors. It seems as if he didn't even look at them beforehand, as he often saw the slides, paused, then tried to figure out what they meant. Gave a huge "extra-credit" assignment that turned out to only be a fraction of a percent.
He means well and genuinely cares about his students, but his class caters to one type of learning (entirely test based). Two 50q midterms, and one 100q cumulative final. If you memorize the book you can get a relatively high grade, but I honestly can't recall a thing. Needs more variety for other learning styles.
He is an awful teacher and a horrible person in general because he is still letting down students with his horrible method of teaching. Please don't take his class for your own good.
terrible professor! i had him for my first semester and this class ruined my GPA. i had A's in all my other classes that semester :( bad teaching technique. reads out from the slides and has a very sleep inducing voice while teaching. the first class that i've ever fallen asleep in lol.
He's a good guy... but unfortunately it's a little difficult to learn when everything's he's presenting is off the slides. These slides are posted online, but it is difficult to grasp the concept because he does of explain it in detail and instead crams your head with terms that he doesn't explain either. Nonetheless, read the TB and you'll be okay
I think he is a good professor. He reads from the slides and answers anyone's questions. His quizzes and exams are easy as long as you read the text and do the review sheet. He is kind of funny when he laughs at his own jokes.
Reads out of a presentation thats not even his. Even before class started he posted a book in the Hunter bookstore website, then changed it first day of class. I already ordered the book. Paid for the shipping then needed to return it. Such a jerk. Do yourself a favor. Dont take a class with this guy. You'll learn very minimal.
simple prof, just read slides and gives out tests and a few pop quizzes. you never really have to come to class because you can just read all slides from blackboard.. tests were slightly different than the review material given, but all in all tests and quizzes were fair.
THIS GUY IS THE WORST DO NOT TAKE HIM... HE CURVES DOWN ITS REDICILOUS.. HIS GRADING SCALE CONSISTS OF A,B,C,D,F.. He does not give b- or B+ only curves it to a letter grade.

A solid 10, if you work hard in his class. This man is a real gem and will have you laughing at his own corny jokes. He reads off slides but you can easily get most of the answers from the textbook for the quizzes he gives out. Sometimes, he will go in depth about a topic and will cram your heads. I think he's a good professor overall.
Do not take this professor!!!! One of the worst professors I have had so far. He only really bases your grade on the two midterms he has and the final. He does not curve the class. He doesn't know what the slides he is reading from say since he seems to not have written them himself.
I have an A and I don't recommend. He only has three things that he grades by everything else is insignificant.

Prof. Agbeyegbe's class will most likely harm your GPA. He's a tough grader and not very accessible outside of the class, so prepare to do lots of reading. However, if you read the TB and do your HW regularly, you will do above average in the class. All tests are multiple choice. He doesn't curve any grades, no matter how badly the class does.
This Professor has no consideration for his students situations. I had experienced some tragic events right before the semester began and I informed him. He refused to reopen any missed assignments and refused to create any extra credit assignments. Homework is 55% of the grade so I missed about 6-8 assignments and did poorly,He simply doesnt care
Decent professor but the grading system won't help you. The Final is 100q. Felt like I didn't learn much due to lectures just being him reading off the PowerPoint. If you're willing to self teach and use the hw like practice for the final, you should be alright.
He's a very nice man, but the lectures are not the most engaging. Even though the textbook isn't strictly required, the HW follows it closely so it's good to pick up. Not great at explaining things, but he's fairly forgiving about HW, and he has a good sense of humor. If you want to do well, you have to read and research things yourself.
Few professors fall into the category of being so full of themselves and yet have no substance. This is one. He taught a doctoral-level course in finance and had no content. You tubes. Taught certain things incorrectly. He had no clue about projects like swaps but will find tough problems from books for exams. He can't teach. Course canceled!

Here it is. Professor Agbeyegbe knows his stuff however that man cannot teach to save his life. So are you are on your own when it comes to studying. 35 % HW, two midterms 50 multiple choice, and final is 100 questions. HE DOES NOT CURVE AT ALL WHATSOEVER. The best bet is to not take him and if you are just memorize all of the test review questions

A nice person, but fails to effectively communicate information to his students. Essentially, he reads off the slides and fails to prepare us for the material on the exam. I recommend avoiding this professor if you are able to.
he's so damn handsome, the was his jaw jiggles when he speaks is absolutely captivating. I giggle everytime that thing jiggles.
If you want to add to your list of classes you will crash out about, this is ur class! Just took the final and boy was that a whirlwind! Never seen before… no literally questions i've never seen before. I honestly can't say it was that bad since the other exams were pretty similar to the practice… but this final… chile…. someone just bury me.
honestly idk what's with everyone in these comments cuz this PROF is a sweetheart/so funny. yes his lectures come as BORING and his class is exam heavy (50 MCQ each for 2 midterms, 100 MCQ on final) but his exams are so easy if you memorize his practice questions/homework. he reuses most of those questions and that's why I was able to get an A

Hard to understand him, but not a hard class. Most of the time, the practice questions the professor gives end up being really similar if not identical to what's on the exam. If you focus on those and really understand how to do them, you'll be in good shape for the tests.
the semester isn't even finished yet but avoid this professor at all costs. dont get me wrong he seems like a good guy but his teaching style is terrible. reads off slides without adequate explanation, exams are 50 question mp with some of them being trick questions, and no curving. very inaccessible outside of the classroom too.
take another professor for macro if you can. the exam questions are not reflective of the material at all
Instead of being rationale and curving the exams, he is making us retake the midterm the week of thanksgiving becuase of how low the scores were :/
While agbeyegbe is a sweet man, his teaching style is extremely outdated. His exams are very lacking of the materials he goes over in class, and his lectures consists of reading off slides that are essentially just copy and pasted from the textbook. This is a self study class, so don't expect to actually learn much from his class.
i checked this ratemyprof page before the class and thought it would be fine no i have never before taken an exam that felt like playing connect four but your fingers are cold wet hot dogs and the board is made of melting ice and the pieces are all sliding out im listening to a speech about how he'll never curve anything as i type this rn
had to drop the class after how terrible the first exam went for me. class averaged in the 40s-50s with no curve. my friend who stayed in the class told me everyone did so poorly on the second exam that he almost made them redo it. the scores of the students are reflective on the ability of the professor to teach, not their ability to learn!

It was an okay class. Professor Agbeyegbe was a kind man who is very intelligent, his teaching style is very outdated and you have to teach yourself most of the material. The tests were pretty difficult, but if you study and pay attention, I think you can manage.
