I took her for Speech and she was FANTASTIC! She has a wonderful persona, is a very thorough teacher and is MORE than fair. I would take her again and again!! You'll enjoy her class, no doubt!

Mrs. Moore is an excellent teacher. She arranges her class very well and is extremely helpful. She also takes advantage of Angel so that she can post additional assignments and all course documents. If you do your work and put forth an effort you will really like this class.

She is a fantastic teacher! Lots of enthusiasm and caring for her classes. Is always positive! Defiantly take her if you can, a little effort in the class and your sure to make an A!!

If you are going to take speech this is the teacher is the one to take it with. She is very enthusiastic, and will bend over backwards to help you. All she asks for is a little effort. I wish she could teach all my classes. Highly recommended by me.

im surpised mrs.moore doesnt have more comments. she is so helpful and she gives "break the ice" exercises so we get to know whos in the class. let me tell you..that so freakin helps when u kno the ppl in your class bc it makes giving a speech that much easier on your nerves. take her! barely use book and all tests are open book & in groups :)

Before I took this class, I dreaded public speaking. But Ms. Moore is a very knowledgeable, animated professor and she makes the class fun. She is caring and understanding and is not overly strict but expects classroom participation.

Ms. Moore is a fantastic teacher. As long as you do your assignments (which are simple and completely non-stressful), you will get an A; she is perhaps the kindest grader I have ever had. She has a fantastic personality and is a top notch teacher. Highly recommended.

Ms. Moore is a fantastic speech teacher! I took speech as a requirement for my AA, and had a very nice time. She has a wonderful personality, and she's an easy grader, as long as you put in some effort. At the beginning of the semester, the course documents she requires look intimidating, but don't let that worry you. It was quite an easy class.

I got all 100's on every speech( introductory, informative, persuasion, and a group project ). She's so understanding and loves her students no doubt. All her tests and final are open book and you can work in groups. You have some assignments that are only like a paragraph requires. I LOVED THIS CLASS AND IF THERE WAS A SPEECH 2 I WOULD TAKE HER !

Dedicated and inspirational are the two words I would use to describe this Professor. I highly recommend her. Her class is an experience you will take throughout the rest of your professional and personal life. DON?T MISS OUT! You must read the lessons on Angel and complete all assignments, but the material is worth every second of your time.

I was not looking forward to taking speech at all but after her class, speech was a breeze. 3 test all open book, 4 speeches all very easy( 4th speech can be SL) and all work is done on ANGEL. she was very helpful answering any questions. HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!

This was by far one of the nicest professor I have ever had. She makes the class extremely comfortable so you are not nervous speaking and EVERYTHING is EASY!! All the tests are open notes, open book, and she will even give you answers! Don't take it with anyone else.. She is the best! I wish I could take her for every class.

Honestly the best and nicest teacher I've ever had. I HATE SPEECHES, so much, but with her class it was so easy, such a relief. I got an A on all of my speeches. Shes such a sweet lady. And you talk to everyone pretty much every day unless theres some speeches that day. Take if you need speech, a fun class, an elective...whatever. Just take it! :)

Super nice teacher. She's helpful and makes the class easy and fun. It's a really easy A. The tests were online, open book, open for a week and we can take them twice. As a requirement for the class we had to volunteer for 20 hours and by doing that we got an automatic 100% on any assignment of our choosing. She's nice but this class was too easy.

I HATE PUBLIC SPEAKING! But this professor made it bearable. Sure, it's an easy A, but speech shouldn't be a hard A. This class is supposed to make you comfortable in front of people, not test you on your knowledge of useless material. Professor Moore is the best professor I've EVER had. Take her for speech to actually learn something and get an A!

Loved her! She made you feel so comfortable. Very relaxed and supportive. Never made me feel unworthy or stupid. Encouraging. Just listen to her advice, speak well, and do online work if you're taking hybrid. She's super nice and an incredibly easy A!

I have the worst speech anxiety out of anyone I know and although I didn't overcome it or anything in this class, Moore made it so much easier to present. She is so nice and easy going. I'm really glad I had her.

She literally gives A's for effort. Gives extra credit, and tests were easy because they were open book and when I took her, the entire class was able to ask each other for help. Such an easy course, take her!

I took Ms. Moore for Speech and she was amazing! She went over and beyond everything my goup asked of her. She was always available during her office hours and would meet with me - she still keeps in contact with me to mentor me through other classes and she is a wonderful person - inside and out. :-)

Mrs. Moore is a great speech teacher! Take Hybrid. You go to class once a week and spend MAYBE an hour online a week. Very helpful and rewards effort. Midterm and exam are online with no time limit, and you get to take them TWICE! She is the best and you will actually learn a lot in this class!

Mrs. Moore is the best professor I have had. She is very outgoing and helpful to all of her students! I went in with horrible speech anxiety! I tested a 153 of 170 at the beginning (very high anxiety)! I just took the test again and got a 90! (low anxiety)! She is phenomenal and I would recommend her to anyone who fears public speaking!

Professor Moore is a great teacher! She is really understanding and cares for her students! If you take Hybrid, you go to class once a week and have to do a little work online. It's a very easy class, especially if you hate public speaking! HIGHLY recommended!

She is an excellent teacher. No matter where you start in your abilities you can get an A. Minimal homework, always extra credit opportunities, midterm and final are easy. I HIGHLY recommend her for anyone who needs to take Speech.

DON'T TAKE THIS ONLINE. I figured as a person with incredibly high anxiety that taking it online would be better but it's really not. I don't know what it is but I just don't care for the class online AT ALL. HOWEVER she is very understanding and accommodating, especially with DE students. Not a particularly hard class and a great professor overall

Took online, She is VERY EASY, everything is clear laid out for you. All test are open book, 2 chances at each test. Midterm is proctored, ?'s are from the chapter quizzes. Weekly discussion? And 3 speeches to record. Responds fast and wants you to get an A.

If you do not like public speech but have to take Speech class anyway, I recommend you take it with Mrs. Moore. I was very afraid the first day of class after that was totally different. She is friendly and makes us fill home in her class, very laid back, easy class, fun. She is an excellent teacher. I would recommend her for shy people.

Was a good class overall. But, make sure you do 100% of the online work because it does effect your grade. Also, on the volunteering project, make sure you get into a group that you get along with and isn't controlled by a single closed-minded person, and if you don't then let her know ASAP!!

When I started this class I hated getting up in front of people but I was comfortable when I left. If you do all the work and at least try to improve according to her comments you will get an A. 95% of homework/exams are online. She understands that everyone has different comfort levels, she just tries to get you to improve from when you started.

I really enjoyed taking this class online. I was skeptical at first since it is a speech class but it was easy yet knowledgeable. Prof Moore was very helpful and always got back to me in a timely manner. Mandatory discussion forums, pay attention to the syllabus because it can be confusing but otherwise great class.

Ohhhh my did I loveee her! You can work ahead, 3 speeches, one doesn't have to be with audience the other 2 need 7 people.. 2 papers one where you critique someone the other is where you commemorate someone.. you'll get a 100 for the tests if you write down the answers I thought I did terrible on every assignment and my final grade was a 98%

So easy. I only did half of the work and even missed the one written speech. Even though I didn't even do it she passed me. And I'm fairly sure it was a Gordon ruled course. No matter what she says, THERE ARE NO DUE DATES! I turned in half of the work, all BS'ed, the last week and got full credit. There was a lot I didn't do though but still got C!

Prof. Moore is one of the absolute best instructors I have had in my educational career. She completely understands that sometimes things come up, and is more than happy to work with students on deadlines, grades, etc. She keeps class interesting and is very "real" with students. LOVE LOVE LOVE HER! :)

I loved Mrs. Moore, she was very helpful. The problem was my peers who seemed to never want to collaborate as a class to make the grade really count.

I strongly suggest you take this teacher for speech, and to take it as a hybrid course. She is an easy grader, and she is not strict about how long your speeches need to be. I was pretty nervous about taking a speech class, but she made it easy.

Easy course as long as you keep up with the work. She's very fair with the grading of the speeches you give and written assignments. I would recommend her to anyone.

LOVED taking this class with this teacher! I dreaded taking the class, but Mrs. Moore put everyone at ease and made this an enjoyable and informative class. You will leave class learning more than "just" speech, with tools you can actually use in your career, whatever it is.

She is a great instructor. The class was easy. Was very nervous about taking this class but it turned out great. You will four speeches, a group project and a few miscellaneous assignments. She gives a midterm and a final. As long as you show effort and participate you will pass with an A!

I really loved this professor. Every assignment was able to be turned in late. She will work with you to help you get the grade you deserve. She lets you out early a lot too, which never hurts.

Really easy class, just do your assignments and you will get an A. I really enjoyed the class and you will always get out early. She reminds you when you have an assignment due and she even lets you turn in homework late. I would take her class again.

Professor Moore rocks! In fundamentals of speech we had 2 quizzes (one proctored) they were basically copy and pasted practice tests, 3-5min self introductory speech (no audience needed), speech critique, 5-7min informative spch 7 adults in audience , 5-7min persuasive spch 7adults in audience and a written speech about a famous person and DBoards.

The speeches? easy. I'm pretty sure she's the only professor NOT to put a timer on you for a speech class. She is a VERY nice lady and her grading is pretty easy. The homework, which was weekly, was super easy. Her midterm was 20 questions which you see during class at some point and my final was a small essay (like 200 words) of what you learned.

Professor Moore was fantastic! She gave us the tools to be successful in this course, as long as we participated & read the text the test and quizzes were a piece of cake. As to the speeches, if you are not sure about the criteria just ask. I would recommend Professor Moore to anyone! She truly cares! She was my instructor for 2 of my 5 classes! :D

Professor Moore was phenomenal! This class is an easy A if you stay caught up and read the text. The discussion board post are important & participation is key. I unfortunately bit off more than I could chew during the semester & fell behind. She is there for you 100%! If you're struggling w/ anything just communicate with her, she's got your back.

Homework is easy and knowledgable. Lectures are always interesting. And the grading is not super strict. Great teacher, would take again!

First off this is Dr Moore she worked hard to get her Phd. And every time even after hours I got a reply may not have been the one I wanted. Dr Moore is a great Professor she makes you find yourself and your inner best . When you attend college you are no longer a child or young adult you are a grown up. slrrady took her again!!

I took it online. You have to record yourself giving 2 speeches in front of an audience of 7 people - take this class if you won't have any trouble getting an audience together. You may not be able to rely on your classmates. Dr. Moore is very fair and understanding with her grading. There's weekly reading assignments & the tests were fairly easy.

Dr. Moore was one of the best professors I have ever had. If you have a problem she listens and tries to help you find a solution. In addition, she is very fair with grading speeches and helps build up your confidence of public speaking.

Professor Moore is extremely easy for Fundamentals of Speech. Makes it comfortable atmosphere, doesn't time you. All homework is online and super easy, and the midterm & final are also online. Overall and easy A if you prepare for speeches. (Only 3 speeches).

Dr. Moore is, by far, the best professor I have ever had. She pretty strict about grading. I learned so much because of that. Be prepared to write 350 words weekly, which I found to be a great learning tool. She answered emails, and graded assignments very quickly. Do not be afraid to ask questions. I hope to have her again.

Dr. Moore is the best professor I have had so far. She is so kind and understanding, and gives great lectures about society and the way we work and use speech. Saying that I had a "workload" would be a total exaggeration. All we have to do each week is a short online textbook assignment. We do 3 speeches, all of which we plan in class!

She is an amazing teacher! A pure gem! She lets us leave class early all of the time and we barely have any homework. She is super chill and I would for sure take her again if I could.

Pretty straight forward class, everything is done online through your book's code and you only have to do two speeches with 7 people in the audience. Midterm is 20 questions and there's no final.

Best speech teacher ever. Shes retiring this semester but her class was great! No text book was used; weekly homework was online on a website called revel which costs money. Otherwise, She made you feel comfortable when going up to speak and gave you free choice of your speech topics! Amazing professor!

You do 2 speeches, record in an audience of 7, about 5-7 minutes. She's easy to email, some of my classmates didn't like her but they asked a lot of questions without looking through the course so she was a little agitated with them. It's an easy A, midterm is protectored but the final is just one question about a concept in the class.

Dr. Moore was the best teacher I had this semester. It is too bad she is retiring and anyone after this will not have a chance to experience her class. I will miss her and I definitely would have liked to take another class with her.

I took the online version of this class. She will give one assignment a week either a quiz where you need to write 300 words which was pretty easy or a discussion post of 250 words then reply to 3 other students with 50 words. online textbook off of Yuzu. Super easy and she gets back to you immediately.

The professor assigns one thing a week for the online class, it seems that pretty much everyone gets an A as long as the assignment is turned in. Work is graded fast and there is no harsh critcism.

Took her for psychology online, easy work.
