Great teacher. Her lectures are a little boring, but the test are really easy. She gives you study questions and she picks 30 of them for a multiple choice test, doesnt get any easier than that. She requires a writing assignment, but you have all semester to do it. I did them both 1 week before they were do and I got an A.

I took this online and it was not easy. She expects her students to complete a book analysis (7-10 pages), and a research paper (7-10 pages). That is a lot to ask of an undergraduate, who is not a history major. This class was much harder than another history course I took at a university.

I took her DL history 1301 class. I didn't have much communication with her all semester. Here's the thing: Use your study guide! The test questions are directly from it! I have to hand it to Dr. Thomas, I goofed big time on the research paper and sent it in. she gave me an extra 2 days (past final deadline) to revise it. Ended up with an A.

Very easy class. Attendance is necessary because she assigns pointless busy work that can only be received on that day of class. Her lectures reminded me of high school history, though even some of those were more comprehensive. She is also a very loud speaker and seemed far too rehearsed and unnatural.

Dr. Thomas has a straightforward online US History course. I took her for US History I and II. Read the chapters and do the study guide (which goes along with the textbook). Not much is provided other than the study guide. There is a mandatory research paper to get an A which I found difficult even though I'm a strong writer. I would recommend her.

Dr. Thomas is really nice. She is very responsive to emails. Just one thing needed to be aware that you need to read the book to answer all questions in her study guide and you should be fine. The map test is really helpful to build up your total point, so try to get 30 points on that test because it is super easy. She is not a tough grader.
