I'm not sure that there's anyone on the planet who didn't enjoy a class with Weldy. Just a wonderful woman and a joy to learn from.

This class is not going to be one of my favorites, subject wise, but Mrs. Weldy is going to ease the blow. She is a great teacher who will keep your spirits up throughout the class. I honestly think I would consider changing my major if I had to sit through this class with any other professor.

Mrs. Weldy should write her own book and teach it. Yes, she is that good and very direct. If you need help and are willing to do your part she is there for ya. I SERIOUSLY recomend taking her for any class you can if you can get in cause they fill up quick.

I took her for BUS 150 first and fell in love with her teaching style. She is a very caring and wonderful lady. She truly cares about her students. She makes sure you know what is coming on the tests and there are NO surprises. If you need to meet with her after class you can meet in her office and open her snack drawer and have a picnic!! :)

I'm the same person that laft the comment below, I accidentally put bus 305 when it should have been MGT 305 oops. But she is still an awsome teacher. She specifically tells you what she wants in her MGT 305 class on all of her assignments and the final formal report is not as bad as it sounds. TAKE ALL THE EXAMPLES YOU CAN GET! ASK HER QUESTIONS!

I LOVE HER! She is probably the most caring teacher I have ever had...even better than high school. The only way to get on her bad side is to cheat, disrupt class (like coming in late every day), talk when she is talking, and use your cell phone. The negatives are so bad. Easy A. I loved the class. Dr. Weldy is fantastic! 5 small (1 pg) papers and about 25 page formal report. Don't be scared! It isn't that bad because she gives you everything you need to know for the papers and practically walks you through it like you are in kindergarten. Teamwork plays a major role in this class. She is very helpful, and you won't be bored!

She's incredibly nice and tries her best to help everyone. She's tough with cellphones and participating in class, but with her always smiling and bouncing over the place with real love of her work, makes you want to see what she'll do next to catch your attention!

Honestly, most people who say "THIS TEACHER WAS THE BEST TEACHER AT SOUTH!" are just BS-ing everyone. Because guess what- they haven't taken Mrs. WELDY. Seriously-take her. omg, the most amazing professor ever. very compassionate and loves what she do. she lectures but it never feels like a lecture, instead she makes you fell like she's talking to you, always asking for your input but never put you on the spot. absolutely recommended.

Take this class during the summer. SO easy. One month and it is over with. Theres a 25 page paper but it's easy b/c she tells you page by page what should be on it and it ends up only being about 5 pages of writing, the rest is graphs, title pages, etc. She knows you don't want to be there and makes the class as pain free as possible. Sweet lady :)

Every college has one prof that makes learning fun and interesting. Well boys and girls Ms. Weldy is South Alabama's one and only! She made class an enjoyable experience to which I looked forward to going to every day. I highly recommend her! On a side note...It's too bad the Math dept. at South doesn't have a fleet of Weldys teaching class!

She was excellent!! All colleges have about 2% of their faculty who makes learning interesting and fun. Ms. Weldy definitely falls into that category! She wont just give you a grade, you have to earn it. I highly recommended her.

Mrs. Weldy is amazing, she is one of the most caring theachers at South. She wears many many hats, but never lets her duties get in the way of her students. Great professor! Teaches exactly what is going to be on the test. Flash cards are a major key to studying for her tests (or memorization). Doesn't play favorites, but you do need to show up to her lectures. Sometimes she uses specific examples she said in class on her tests.

BUS 150 is not an easy A, but it is not difficult if you study. Theres quizzes associated with every chapter, but other than that, no real homework.

I took BUS150 with Professor Weldy. She is a fantastic professor that really cares about her students. Instead of punishing you for not coming to class she rewards you if you show up with bonus points added to your final average. She grades very generously and does her best to help every student fairly. I would really recommend taking her.

Dr. Weldy was one of the most amazing professors I've had. She cares about all her students and she is very fair. She explains projects and tests and is always open to have conversations with you. I wish every prof. was like Dr. Weldy she makes your college experience much better. She puts herself in your shoes and she doesn't make anyone feel dumb

Dr. Weldy is the best professor I have had so far. She is very nice and really cares that her students succeed in her class and in their other classes. If you ever need any help with anything in her class or another class she will definitely help you to the best of her ability. 10/10 recommend for sure.

By far one of the best writing teachers I have had at South. Close to 5 papers due throughout the semester and I took her for Summer 1st semester (4weeks). Do the rough drafts-- easy points. Book was no use.... we never referenced it. Study her power points for the tests and any handouts she passes out in class.

Dr. Weldy is such an amazing professor and person in general. MGT 305 is a writing intensive course that requires a ton of papers and a 30+ page formal report. Dr. Weldy breaks everything down making even the most difficult things simple and easy. I learned more in her class than I have my entire time at South. If you get a chance TAKE HER.

If you are a business student, TAKE HER! It CANNOT get any better. She is the best teacher I have ever had. She cares about all of her students success in and outside of class. She keep you updated on everything! She is very nice. If you fail, you're a dummy because she does everything she possible can to make sure you pass.

Dr. Weldy is a good teacher but her exams are worded weird and can sometimes be confusing. She cares for her students more than any one at this university and would do anything for you. She will always have a shoulder for you to cry on and she is so real.

Currently a freshman and she's seriously my FAVORITE professor. She's very understanding and you can tell she actually cares about her students. THE BEST EVER. takes attendance but it won't hurt your grade it only helps if you go because you get bonus points added to your end of semester grade. Super easy. There's a quiz every week but its only 10 questions and you can look up answers or look over the powerpoint she post.

Amazing professor and super organized. Lectures feel reallyyyyy long and kinda gibberish. BUT she gave out a course schedule with all 16 weeks on it and she follows it. Everything is given Friday and due Monday every week. Tests are definitely do-able if you're good at memorizing. Genuinely cares about all of her students.

Awesome professor, genuinely cares about students, and easy assignments. Lectures are straightforward PowerPoints and there's a lot of class discussion. She is hilarious and relatable as well. We did not use the textbook, she puts her slideshows online.

You do not need the book and participation does matter. For our class, if you didn't miss any class, you got three points added to your final grade. She is an amazing teacher and you should be excited to take her class! Take advantage of extra credit. The test are all multiple choice and really easy if you just study the lecture slides.

She was my first business professor and she was great. Her lectures arent mandatory, but you get extra points for showing up instead of losing points for not going. Really good lectures and shes pretty funny. All the test are just like the slides and multiple choice. Really easy to pass the class if you try and great at making the subject easy!

You have to watch her lecture videos to do well on the quizzes because she puts questions that were not covered in the slides, but in her discussion. Tests are about 50 questions, have good notes!
