Awesome teacher!

I like her teaching pace - quick enough so students don't get bored. She does well to the extent of teaching the concepts-good explanation - but I would like some inspiration, engagement with students, and some "so what?" about the things we study. Take her if you find the average pace of math teaching at Foothill is slow. Plus: she is hot.

I don't know why others rate her as poor. She is an awesome teacher and not boring at all! in fact, she is one of my favorite mathematics professor. I really like her. Take her class. No regrets. got an A.

Homework is necessary as her classes are mostly review of the previous assignment and the class is mostly your opportunity to clarify what you didnt get. She is helpful if you ask.

fair grader. 90% and above guarantee A. she cares the students' progression and it's very helpful. you can drop one midterm. quizzes are easy. on the final exam the MCQ questions are a bit tricky and really based on the concept but it is still doable.

She is clear in her lectures if you pay attention. She will help you if you are trying. Not an easy A but an A is possible if you put the effort in.

She is fair and honest with you. Not a lot of use for the book, mainly online homework and work sheets in class. She will focus on material that will be valuable in areas you are going to be utilizing later on.

Great instructor. Clear and easy to understand. Lots of group work. Drops lowest quiz score. Homework is online. Easy to talk to and she's eager to help when you need it. Loved her teaching style. Take her class!!!

I am not a math person at all whatsoever..Mrs. Zwack is a terrific teacher. She goes slow and makes math interesting. She's very flexible with homework and is really only interested in the well being of her students. She is always eager to help.. at one point i practically lived in her office hours! Take this teacher, shes one of a kind!

Pretty nice professor, although she makes a lot of mistakes that needed to be caught by students. The class is really just do the handouts and understand them, and DO NOT do the hw to trade off for quizzes. She is more lenient on quizzes and the quizzes are almost always problems in the handouts. Honestly you don't even need the book in the class

Failed me, but the intensity of her class definitely helped me after I transferred to UCSD. Worth it for serious folks.

she is nice and hard-working. your final exam can cover one quiz and one exam, this policy is really helpful for your grades.

Awesome math teacher. Very helpful. I missed class because I was out with the flu. She let me make up the quiz and was very helpful at explaining what I had missed. She gives you all the tool you need to succeed in her class. You just need to put in the effort.

She's a good teacher. She makes herself available to students, and it's up to them to take advantage of that. If you failed her class, perhaps you should look at your attendancework ethic and be accountable rather than pointing the finger at somebody else. Her class is challenging but doable. Show up, do the work, ask questions, and you'll be fine

Honestly, I hate maths because I never understand it. But after taking Ms. Zwack's class I love maths. Her lectures actually make so much sense and easy to understand. You do a lot of class work so attendance is mandatory.

She is very helpful. Always there for you whenever you had a question. Remember to finish all the homework. Quiz are easy as long as you focus in her class. Trust me. Do all her homework or you wont score in the quiz. i Loved maths because of her ! :) A very good professor !

took her for 48A and I wish she was teaching 48C spring 2015 too. Her lectures are clear, if you get stuck she'll help you find your way. homework is a mix of web assign and unfinished classwork. Exams and quizes for the most part mirror problems done in class and homework. She made me not hate math as much and she's always on campus in her office.

Super helpful and reasonable teacher. You learn what you need to in a relaxed environment. Teresa is a really nice person and as long as you don't slack off, you'll do great in her class. Can't wait to take again!

Zwack is amazing! Everything you learn is on this quizzes, not surprises. She it really helpful and has break out sessions with tutors for extra help! She quizzes every week so no missing class. For MATH 108 I barley got a C and with her I am passing with plying colors!!! I wish I could take her again but she does not teach 48B

I am NOT a math person. I wish I was, but math concepts come slow to me. Teresa is an awesome teacher because her lectures are very clear, gives us practice problems in class, and then has us finish them for hw, There is webassign, but she is lenient on it, and there are 3 exams. The final exam will replace your lowest test score. Highly recommend.

Teresa is just amazing,she is super helpful,and super nice too. She knows everyone's name and will answer everyone's question. She will help everyone in the class in a LOT of ways. I like how organised she is with her schedule, how helpful, and patient she is. To pass her what you should do really is to study from the quizzes that she gives out.

Zwack is a really kind person, but she is not a good teacher. She tends to make to a lot of careless mistakes on board and her explanations are not clear at all. She gives little explanations, expects us to understand and then proceed with class exercises. Prepare to self-study in her class if you want to pass. She is always willing to help though.

She is one of the best professors at Foothill to take a calculus class. She's really encouraging and nice. If you do the mymathlab and written homework, you should be fine. She's one of few teachers out there who wants to reward your trying, not to punish students. I wish she could teach 1B. Overall, I'm glad to have a teacher like her.

This teacher is one of the few well balanced math instructors within the college. She is neither lenient nor strict but will make Calculus challenging as the course progresses. Quizzes are a weekly expected activity and homework is a MUST to pass. She grades fair but does not curve grades so what you get is what you put into it.

She's the one of the Best Math instructor at FH ever! I really enjoy her class. However, you won't pass if you skip the class coz you won't understand the concepts and she has her own CLEAR explanation in teaching and class demonstration, which is even better than reading the book.

She is a very fair grader. As long as you do your homework and understand the material, you will do very well on the quizzes because the quizzes are based off on homework.

Love her! Though she makes mistake calculating in class often, she's still clear what she should do. Her lecture is clear, quiz is not hard, exam is not too much not too less. It's sad that she doesn't have class in this summer and fall.

Great professor. Classes are planned out systematically. Very forgiving on quizzes. Clear lectures, and she does not hesitate to repeat the calculation steps.

Let me start off by saying, I DESPISE math. Or should I say, I used to. Thanks to Teresa's class, I feel equipped with a new ability to solve complex problems and I never feel overwhelmed like before. She is hands down the BEST professor I've had. She should be teaching at an Ivy - her value is worth that much. I love her and wish she was my mom

I would give her a 6 out of 5. She does not hesitate to help you in anyway you need. She is very clear of the math concepts and making it understand logically. The subject is hard, but she will make it seem so simple. When you ask her questions, she knows exactly where you are confused of and explain it so well. A math instructor GODDESS!!!

Took Uliecan for MATH48B but dropped. Teresa is a really approachable and straightforward teacher. She is extremely patient and concise. Her lectures are very to the point and she's super nice. She's really understanding and will give extensions. When I'm asking a question, she won't make you feel dumb. Definitely would recommend 10/10.

Teresa is super lenient with grading. Online homework is useless but required. Don't need a book. Allows worksheets on quizzes and notecards on exams. Gets confused sometimes, a little scatterbrained.

Teresa is an amazing person. Her classes are "easier" because she offers extra credit and extensions of online homework through the last day of class. She cares about each student's success and has OH every day to give extra help. You get a full sheet of notes on the quizzes, and notecards on exams. Exams are identical to practice ones she emails!

Very nice professor, I took her for Pre-Calc (48b). Ended with an A- in the class. She is very accessible outside of class and it is obvious that she wants you to succeed in math. Theres no question about that... even when my attendance was sub-par.

Teresa is a great teacher! She is organized and very good at explaining concepts. I took her Math 48A class and I would recommend students to take it. The class is very straightforward and if you try hard, there is a good chance you will get an A.

Professor Zwack is amazing, makes math simple. If you attend lectures and listen carefully - you won't have any problems, you'll understand everything!She allows 3*5 notes on quizzes and exams. She always respond to letters or questions regarding hw. Great notes to print instead of book! I would take all maths with her if it will be on a schedule!

Great Instructor so far! Gives extra credit, incentives to improve the student's understanding. Always available to help, within a few minutes! Lots of good work, group work, made the subject very easy to understand.

Prof Zwack is awesome. Her lectures are based on weekly notes which are easy to understand. She has weekly quizzes but they're really easy when you study her notes. Doesn't take attendance and she posts EVERYTHING she did in-class online. She's very understanding and goes at a slow pace. Daily, but Group Works Math Buddies! Taking for Math48B.

Lots of homework on webassign, but for tests she'll give you study guides which help a lot. very patient and her notes helped me understand a lot (u have to print it out and do together). there's always groupwork - worksheet to do in groups of 2/3 so be prepare to work with people. overall an easy A if you do the work and know your stuff.

Teresa goes above and beyond for her students. Her notes are very clear, and although trig can be super confusing, she does a great job starting on simple examples that demonstrate one idea at a time. What a great teacher! Makes math very accessible to all types of learners. She truly wants all students to learn and succeed. Print all of her note sheets ahead of class and use them. She has done a great job putting these together. They are a great resources.

Teresa and her classes are absolutely amazing. You won't need the textbook at all, because she uploads all the notes and activities we do in-class, online. You don't need to go to her class but if you do, her lectures are very in-depth and easy to comprehend. She gives you tons of chances to get a good grade. One of the best teachers in FH by far!

Zwack is an amazing teacher who really wants her students to succeed! She gives you lots of opportunities to do well and she is really there for you if you have any questions. Lots of quizzes and 2 exams and a final which account for a high chunk of the grade. Lots of group work and homework!

Professor Zwack is amazing! She cares about every students and wants to help them do well and will explain every problem to you until you get it. Quizzes every week but she will drop your bottom 2. If you do the homework you'll understand everything in class but you should do every homework, which happens every class (3 per week)

Very organized and strategic when introducing new material. Note card cheat sheets allowed for all quizzes and exams. Great teacher who accepts questions anytime and does a ton of example problems step by step during lectures to explain the course material adequately. Would highly recommend, wish all teachers taught like her!

I took the Math 48C class. I really enjoyed the class time. I like the way she cares about her students.

I had Teresa for 48B and 48C. Her lectures are great and easy to follow. She doesn't rely on the text book which is nice. Shes very knowledgeable, always had an answer and if she didn't know, she'd find out and let everyone know. The exams will make you think, but online courses you had a few days to complete them and turn in.

I've taken courses with Prof Zwack a bunch of times now, and I am always impressed by how well she explains all the concepts, as well as how accessible she is outside of class hours. She will always respond to an email within a few hours and really cares about the success of her students. If you need help, she will make time for you!

She is by far one of my favorite professors. She cares about her students, and always does extra step towards students. She is always happy to help you and she is always ready to explain if you have any questions. Besides of the tough homework at times, her willingness to help makes this class a lot easier.

Great and helpful professor. Allows you to learn the material and encourages you to help your classmates. The word on the street about Professor Zwack was true when I took her class. Doesn't make you feel discouraged about math. Doesn't teach Calculus but will send you towards that direction with confidence.

LOTS of WebAssign hw that can pile up quickly. Online class does zoom lecture which is optional and recorded. Material is really easy and intro level. She sends out reminders for big due dates and allows midterm corrections on 2/3 of the exams. Relaxed about late work if you email!

AWESOME professor. Very clear in her lectures and explains everything really well and in depth if need be. Exams are clear on what she is asking. You can even get help from tutors on the exams as well as she offers a chance to correct your work on exams after graded. She is also very understanding and gives you more time on assignments if needed.

Mrs. Zwack is a really nice teacher and also caring. She makes sure the material is easy and if people are having a hard time she gives long breaks. She is also really funny and makes a lot of hilarious jokes. Professor Zwack is amazing! She gives you lots of opportunities to earn points with weekly learning check quizzes, and test corrections on exams. Her tests are clear and include concepts we have practiced in class. The tests are two parts and one of them you can complete at home. She is also accessible outside of class. *course taken in person

Best math teacher ever. lectures are super understandable if you come focused and ready. There are a few attempts on quizzes and 1 week to compelete the midterms. I had math 48A with her and it was online but she was extremely involved in our process and you're success matters to her. put in the necessary effort and she'll reward you tenfold.

Professor Zwack is a great teacher and teaches the more traditional way but it makes me understand things more. Not a lot of homework or assignments. Has take-home and in class assessments every couple weeks. The t-h is more difficult as it is open note. Very nice lady and easy to understand!

Awesome teacher who obviously cares so much. She may be on the spectrum or have some intense ADHD but I think it was cute and added to the experience in a positive way. Loved her and she loved every single one of her students too. Highly recommend.

Professor Zak's support with extensions and test corrections benefits grades. Yet, meticulous grading in take-home assessments and declining end-of-quarter support pose challenges. Success in tests is achievable with focused study, but awareness of web signs' impact on grades is crucial.

Such an amazing prof, lessons are recorded & available on zoom if you can't attend. Easy pass if you do your homework (very little), do your notes (in-class), and study for the tests. Take-home exams are practically free A's if you check your work, and the contents of in-class exams are disclosed on canvas. Caring prof with interesting lectures!

Favorite math teacher! Lectures are easy to follow even if you aren't "good at math". She is very nice and willing to explain topics to better your understanding. Office hours right after class so you can clear up any confusions before you go home. Has corrections for exams! Very organized and willing to give extensions if needed! Take her!

She's so sweet and is always helpful. She is always open to answering questions, and all her assignments are pretty easy. On every test and study guide, u get test corrections, which is nice. She also understands personal life and is always willing to give extensions on things.
