She's a great teacher, grades are mainly based on tests. Study hard and read!!

Great Teacher, not hard, very good

I really like Mrs. Fournier. The class was a lot of fun and i am really glad that i took it. You really get to know everyone in your class and actually enjoy going to it!! TAKE FOURNIER FOR PSYCH 122

She teaches the stuff clearly, and she's fun to listen to. She promotes happiness and good spirits, and that's a nice switch. I learned a TON from her. You can't go wrong by taking her class!

Great teacher. You will know everyone in the class by the end of the semester. Easy work. Just read the chapters and study and you'll do fine. Also go to class everyday. She makes it fun and you do basically all group work.

I had her for both psychology 122 and 210 in the same semester. She's the funniest teacher ever, although she does get serious when she needs to be. She's also very humble and did I mention, she's kinda hott? She even jokes about her age but she keeps the looks going. She's hella funny, showing up at 7AM with a "Happy Monday morning!!!" when most of the class is half asleep at that time. She is also very understanding. She's the best teacher I ever had!

Shes an awsome teacher and she really has great example and she make the things you learn in class easy to relate to your everyday life.

Her lectures are very interesting and keep you entertained. She gives plenty of examples and makes sure you completely understand concepts. Keep up with the reading because she tests directly from it. she offers study guides for all tests. Your grade is comprised of 3 tests. She also offers lots of extra credit. really interesting class!

I think Ms. Fournier is a great teacher. Every day she greets the class with "Happy Tuesday". She makes learning fun and there are lots of opportunities for extra credit. The class is all tests so if you aren't a good test taker might be a good idea to find another teacher.

I've taken her twice because she's so great. She's really funny, and can relate to the class with her college stories. Pretty basic tests, 4 tests, your lowest grade on one of them gets dropped. She hands out a study guide the day before the test which IS the test. No homework.

Shes great. Lectures are so informative and never boring. I could talk to her all afternoon. Ive learned so much in a short amount of time. I would DEFINETLY recommend her!

sooo cool! She explains concepts with funny anecdotes and gives thurough lectures. Allowed to drop the lowest test score or skip a test if you have aced the rest. Lots of extra credit opportunities, you won't fail this class and you will probably learn a lot!

She's very friendly, and makes the cl**** fun and interesting. She's very helpful if you ask questions and really seems to enjoy her job.

Excellent teacher! She made the class fun, and is a very clear teacher. I wasn't sure if I was going to like Psychology since I was just taking it as a general education class, but I very much enjoyed it. She also has lots of extra credit opportunities so it's easy to get a good grade.

Great teacher! Made me interested even though I hate the subject. She explains everything clearly and is straight forward. You will need the text. No homework but reading is necessary to do well on the tests. She gives out study guides for tests which are 50% MC and 50% essay. Drops lowest test score, final isn't comprehensive. No reason to do bad.

Professor Fournier is awesome! She is very bubbly and very approachable. The text book is extremely important if you want to get an A, and don't wait until the last minute to study. She does provide a study sheet, but it is your job to know as much about the material as you can to obtain an A. She is also a very nice and friendly person.

She is a great teacher and here to benefit all students. Her lectures are basically the Essay Questions in the class. She gives 3 tests and you need to get 135 points to get an A. She does give extra credit, up to 10 or 12 points, depending on the semester. She is a great teacher and the day before the test, she has a review day. Ask her n e thing

She's funny and she easily grabs your attention. Tests are easy, as long as you at least scan the chapters. My favorite class by far!

She was easy, nice, and friendly. She motivates students to do better and she has class exercises were students can interact to get to know each other. This class is a must take.

She gives many opportunities for extra credit, and she really wants her student's to do well. I would definitly take another one of her classes!

Six one-page assignments, lowest of the six is dropped. Six ten-question quizzes, lowest is dropped. Three exams, lowest is dropped. She's very helpful, and the class is extremely easy. All you really have to do is read the book and come to class. NOTE: You are only allowed to miss two class without it affecting your grade!

Very helpful professor! She enjoys her job and is willing to help every student. She says that she used to be a horrible test taker, so her tests are really easy. 3 midterms and final. Aced all 4 exams

She is fantastic. Uses psychology in how she formats the class for our benefit and does not give HW. Tests needs preparing for but she gives you all the necessary materials, including study guides. Loved her. Took two semesters with her. Get her before the class fills up.

Very friendly, genuine woman. Easy class - every other week there is a 1 page paper, every other week there is a 10 question quiz, every 5 weeks there is a 50 question test. Lowest scoring of each is dropped. The book is very important-Everything done in class is a practical application of what is in the book.Minimal note taking in class. Loved it!

Recommended psych teacher, she is awesome. Second time taking her and she is one of the best. Always smiling and overall easy class. No homework, 3 exams (lowest dropped), final, and extra credit (and for attendance). Just show up and study and you will pass.

Fournier is easily the best teacher at DVC. She's teaches really well and I learned a lot her in class. If you aren't doing well go to her office hours. She wants to help you get a good grade. Also she was there for me when I was having personal problems. Don't think twice on taking another professor, she's the best one.

She is amazing. She makes Psych really interesting and adds personal stories, I'm so glad I got 101 with her. I highly reccomend her. Tests are based on notes and reading from the textbook out of class.

Very cheery and lectures are entertaining. You will do a presentation on the chapter you select with a group. She offers up to 13 pts of extra credit. She is strict on attendance. You miss more than 2/3 classes, your grade will drop a whole letter. Drops lowest test and quiz scores. A lot of group activities. Read the book and you'll get an A

She is the reasons I am now pursuing a career in psychology. I highly recommend this class. She made my days happier. Like seriously. It was a morning class, too, and I'm lazy. Like, I barely get out of bed until 1 p.m. sometimes. But she made it worth it.

She is probably one of the best teachers I've had so far. She explains everything thoroughly and makes it interesting. She is always in a good mood which makes the class more enjoyable. She's a good teacher. I learned a lot and enjoyed this class. The tests are kind of easy, not super easy though. She keeps you interested in the subject, it's a good class to take if you have ANY interest in pyschology.

I enjoyed this class. It was challenging but not so challenging that it made me crazy. I learned a lot and had fun in the class as well. I would take her again for sure. Grades are all tests so STUDY, but she gives study guides so it makes it easier to pass. I would Recommed her.

Great class! Lectures are interesting in that she engages the class. Group projects were fun to watch. There is a small quiz every week but as long as you pay attention in class you should pass them. One of my favorite professors of this semester. I would say the book is necessary.

She a really nice teacher. She makes class fun and I never found it boring. Her test are all multiples choice and she does do extra credit things throughout the semester. You shouldd be able to pass it if you pay attention, go to class, and do the study guides.

This class was the definition of an easy A. Go to her lectures and take notes then when you get the study guide know every term on there. If you do those two things you are guaranteed an A. I didn't even bother with the extra credit. This is a great class that isn't time consuming at all.

I feel like this class was way too self taught. She is an amazing teacher, however, for psych 200 you have to read like 60 pages a week for a 10 question quiz, and the lectures are taught by groups not her after the first couple weeks. I'd prefer her to lecture, it would have made the quizzes and tests easier & require a lot less time outside class

She is one of the best teachers Ive had at DVC. She is the cutest thing too! Her class consists of four tests and thats pretty much it. The test are very easy, she gives you a review sheet every time and her lectures are very interesting. Not a boring class or teacher at all. Shes amazing.

I preferred her for psych 101, this class she rarely actually lectured, but it was still a pretty fun class, you NEED to study to get a good grade though, but A's are completely do-able with effort

She is a wonderful teacher! Very thorough, approachable/friendly, and good at explaining things. Her class is very straightforward, and she makes it fun and interesting. The textbook is necessary to study for exams. I learned a lot from this class, I definitely recommend taking her!

Really nice teacher! Class is usually taking notes from her powerpoint and listening to funny stories. She's very upfront and once she tells you a rule she expects you to follow it. She can have a very stern face but it's hilarious because it lasts for two seconds tops and then she's all smiley again. No homework, but read the book for the test!

I took her online course and it was pretty interesting. Every week there were two quizzes and two assignments due. She drops your two lowest quiz scores and two lowest score on an assignment. There are study guides, powerpoints, and lots of extra credit. It is a pretty easy class if you put your time and effort into it. Good luck future students!

Mrs. Fournier is an AWESOME teacher. Her class is super easy..3 exams, and a final. She gives study guides for every exam and everything on there is on the test. She gives A LOT of extra credit if you're willing to go to a few workshops. Overall, very very funny teacher, and I definitely recommend her to anyone!!

OMG I loved Fournier! She is so amazing! Her lectures were so fun. My friends and I were always excited to attend her lectures. She is really interesting to listen to. Lectures were always on point. She is super funny like everyone says AND that woman has style! She dresses better than me! Pretty easy class. I learned A LOT :)

Really nice person entertaining and clear lectures/laid back environment. If you're looking for a fun+easy class, take her. Only thing is that in a more advanced psych class I took later on, we went over some of the things fournier taught in 101 and it turns out she got some facts/info wrong about things. Not a big deal if youre not a psych major

Easiest class of my semester. 3 tests, 1 final, just read the book, and do her study guides. She basically gives you the answers on them. Shes nice, funny at times, and overall take this class. Super easy B and a super easy A if you do extra credit. You could not pay attention during lectures (strict about phones and attendance) and still get an A.

I have never taken such an enjoyable class! I am a psych major who had to retake psych because Davis doesn't use AP credit for majors. However, this class was clear, enjoyable, and easily managed. The professor even allowed me to take a test that had already closed. She is very understanding and extremely nice. GREAT CLASS

She's a great teacher! Always cheerful and friendly, she's really funny too! She's very articulate and intelligent and knows her subject well. Is happy to give advice on any aspect of college not just Psych. Always seems happy to help. Her study guides are great, use them and you'll do well! Loved her class!

Prof Fournier was extremely helpful, & she responds to emails quickly. I took the online short term class that was 7 weeks long, & it was a lot of reading & assignments, but if you put in the time, it's an easy A.

This class was online & short-term, 7 weeks. There are 2 assignments a week after 2 sections of reading & online presentation, then 2 quizzes each week. Super easy if you follow the quiz reviews given along with the assignments and readings. 35 minutes for 25 question quizzes. Super easy class as long as you're organized and remember it!

This was a short term, online class. Fournier was super clear about grading, helpful when I had issues learning online setting and was a fair grader. 2 chapters a week, 2 quizzes, and plenty of extra credit opportunities. Requires good organization skills but otherwise a fun class and relatively easy with such clear guidelines. Would take again.

Overall i enjoyed the class. Shes always in a cheerful mood and her lectures are usually interesting. She also gives plenty of chances for extra credit.

Mrs. Fournier is the most pleasant teacher I have ever had and I truly enjoyed going to her class, even though it was at 8am! She has some great stories that will stick with you. Recommend this class for anyone that wants to grow as a person.

Took her 6 week online course which was super easy and very manageable. There's 12 quizzes, one per chapter, and 2 one-page writing assignments per week (which is mostly based on personal connections to concepts). She drops the 2 lowest quizzes and assignments, so if you're on top of it it can become a 5 week course. Highly recommend her.

This is a good teacher to take for a basic psych class for credit. Lectures were easy to understand and she uses real-world experiences to teach concepts. No turn in homework, but you do have to read the textbook, because not all of the test answers are covered in the lecture. Attendance is important, she will drop you if you miss too many classes.

As long as you stay on tops of things, then there is no reason for you to get less than an A in her Intro to Psych class.

Excellent professor, really enjoyed taking this class. It was online and short term but definitely worth it. I really enjoyed it, so it didnt seem difficult. I think if you genuinely enjoy and try in this class, you will find it easy similar to me. Take her!!

This is a very simple and manageable class. Most of the work is reading the textbook on your own, and her lectures cover some material but not that much. There are 4 multiple choice exams and you can drop one. She has you do a few interactive games and group exercises (not graded, mostly fun). She is a good teacher and is knowledgeable.

Super easy and straight forward. I took the 7 week class during the spring semester. 2 chapters a week with 2 assignments and 2 quizzes at the end of each week. Stay on top of the assignments and read. You will be fine. It's an extremely easy A.

Very sweet lady. I thought I was gonna fail the class after doing poorly on the first two tests but she helped me a lot with my study skills. She drops the lowest test score and I ended up with a B in the class. Basically, learn from my mistake and actually READ the book. You actually end up with an A unlike me!

Pretty, funny professor. She gets off topic at times though and her lectures are not enough, you HAVE to read the book. Attendance is mandatory or points will be taken off but a lot of extra credit is available. Grade is based solely on 4 tests, drops the lowest one. Passes out study guide with every concept you have to learn for the test. Easy A

Professor Fournier is amazing! Her lectures are straightforward and easy to follow. They are fun and she has great stories. You are only graded on tests but she gives a study guide that is basically the layout of the test so as long as you use that you will for sure get an A. And she gives a lot of opportunity for extra credit.
