She is the most difficult teacher i've ever had. She's demands a lot from her students, but taking Anatomy is never easy anyways. You do learn many interesting things though. She's also fun and easygoing, but you must work hard!
Lectures are very good, professor very helpful. She is super entertaining and treats you like an equal. All science classes require hard work and this class is no different, however this teacher is as cool as they get.
Very difficult subject which requires a LOT of work. She makes the class fun and is very entertaining. If you don't like doing real work to earn your degree...don't take Teri's class. She's also a hottie. :)
Very cool teacher. I don't know of anyone else that can take such a drab subject as Anatomy and make it fun. Very difficult though but she acts like she's 10 years old.
The only problem with her class is that she is so damn beautiful that it's difficult to concentrate on the material. Besides that, she is an excellent teacher. Thumbs up!!
she is so hard. alot of reading and studying is required though she is fun. tests and quizes are very hard. to succeed you have to know the material forward and backward. i dropped her class and i never drop a class
Sweetest teacher I know!!! Very hard class, but you really feel good @ end of semester if you pass, cuz u know u studied ur butt off! You learn A LOT from that class!
Difficult class. Requires a lot of reading.but you will really learn.Practical and written test, challenging.
Funny
She's not as hard as everyone makes her out to be. But yet, she was NOT easy -- pretty tricky tests. With her grading system, it's really impossible to get an A. But if you just want to pass Anatomy, and not necessarily get an A, then go take her.
One crazy uproar in that room!!
she curves your grade, so it's not like it's totally hopeless. she makes like one or two hard tests, then subsequent tests become easier. I get the feeling that she wants students to do well. Remember, it's anatomy itself that's hard, not the teacher.
Anatomy is a hard class but the teacher can simplify it!!!
She is hardddddddddddddd and bitter. She test you on material that is not important. I really disliked her. She actually told on of the students that if she wanted to get an A in her class she was going to have to come in and clean the class.
She's a great teacher. If you stay throughout the whole labtime and take good notes you'll learn most of the material needed for the tests. Don't worry, she curves big in the end. I managed to get a B. Plus, her lectures are not boring.

I got an A, so I'm not bitter...but "Teri" is fake, moody, and pretentious. She picks her favorites--generally the ones who feed her insatiable ego--and treats everyone else as if they were invisible. Once her head deflates, she'll make a decent
Alright, here is the deal: This is the hardest class u'll ever have in your life. BUT, once u take this reality in, the rest is HANG IN THERE!! Teri pushes you to the limit and believe me, you'll thank her later!Want an "A"? LAB TIME!
"IF YOU THINK YOUR PROFESSOR IS TOUGH, WAIT UNTIL YOU GET A BOSS" Bill Gates. (I heard it while taking this class and it brought things into perspective!
she's not easy at all.She tries to trick her students instead of helping them get "A"s.Her lectures don't help on the exams. She teaches you outlines & asks every lil details on the tests.she's cool but if you wanna learn & ace the class, don't t
um, yeah, HARD!!! the class is fun in the sence you learn a lot, but the reward in all your hard work is usually a well deserved C. i remember spending hours, daily stuying, and just having no clue what she was asking on most of her test questions.
She's a nice teacher, but her test is kindda hard. Her test is over 200 questions (lab and lecture). The first 100questions maybe u are doing good but the last 100 q. u get all tire and don't know what are you doing.

Do NOT take her for Physio. If she is hard and demanding in ANAT 25 triple that when talking Physio. I would not recommend her and i know her fairly well, sounds like there is real bitterness as mentioned earlier. :-(
This is the worst teacher you'll ever have! She won't answer you questions, explain herself, puts you to sleep with her endless analogies during lectures and tries to trick you during tests. If you like getting As and Bs, aviod this teacher at all costs!
REALLY HARD. But there's a way to conquer her, and 99% of these students here dont study and deserve their Es and Fs. If you follow what she tells you you will pass: read before coming to class, advance read your lab stuff, review everything and memorize with flash cards/notes; stick to syllabus
She's a little crazy but I like her. People complain that she's tricky and too hard, but those people don't study properly. Point being that you have to work your ass off to get a good grade in any Anatomy/physio class. She will do anything to help. Excellent teacher. Plus she's hot.
She wrote a lab study guide that is lots cheasper than having to buy the lab book but she expects you to really know the material! She knows the weirdest trivia!
i'm gonna admit, it was a hard class, but as long as you read your book and do the work you'll be fine. her tests are really hard but a 50 out of a 100 is like a c so she cuts you major slack. if you need physio i'd say take her, at least you'll know the material when your done
SHE IS NICE & FUNNY BUT WHEN IT COMES TO TEST. IT IS SOO DAMN HARD!! DO NOT TAKE HER DURING WINTER OR SUMMER! SHE NEVER GIVES US HANDOUTS. SHE NEVER GRADE THE STUDY GUIDE THAT WE DID INSIDE THE CLASS. OMG I JUZ CAN'T TAKE IT. I DROP THE CLASS RYT AWAY SO BE REALLY CAREFUL & I MEAN REALL STUDY HARD!
Difficult course.took in winter and boy do i feel thrashed.i took the final tonight...its intense)i enjoyed teri's teaching, she really cares about her students, and her lectures were always intersting.Even though her class was HARD,it was worth it, i learned a lot. shes a good teacher.she even offer
Brilliant professor. Tons to learn so study hard. This professor is passionate and goofy (in a good way).
She is nice & clerly states each chapter one by one, she tells us what to study one week in advance of the test.
I took this in a winter session so it was really hard, but she's a great professor and very clear. She moves fast but is willing to help students out if they're lost. I wish I could take her again for Physio 2B but she's not teaching it this time.
very effective teaching skills. The lectures are cleary communicated and I felt like I learned a lot. (Took in winter...it will be a challenge)The lab book designed is very helpful.
The woman has an ego bigger than the classroom. If you're man, u're well off. If not, watch and see. Teaches clear lectures, ppt notes are VERY UNHELPFUL. Anatomy is hard, but Trendler makes it hell. Borman, Chammas, anyone but Trendler....Don't say you weren't informed.

Teri is a very productive teacher, and an easy going person. Any student who is artistically challenged, has a solid background knowledge, and is willing to learn will have no problem to pass Teri’s exams. Though I studied hard, I definitely would take Teri’s class again. Teri doesn't make it hard on students; it is simply PCC plan & program.
Teri is by far one of the best instructors I've ever had. She is brilliant in the subject, can answer any question you ask and has an amazing ability to explain the subject well. She isn't easy but makes the class fun, interesting and will do what it takes to help you pass the class. She definetely gets an A!
TERI ISN'T THERE TO HELP U WITH THE CLASS BUT SHE TAKE ALOT OF TIME SHOWING OFF HER KNOWLEDGE.U HAVE TO BE GOOD AT SELF TEACHING CUZ THE BOOK IS BORING. TERI WAS FUNNY AND NICE TO LOOK AT WHEN SHE WORE SOMETHING HOT, IF YOUR INTO TO GIRLS CHECK IT OUT. IF U WANT A TEACHER TRY SOMEONE ELSE
Her class is difficult, but she is fun. She uses analogies and humor in her lectures to make the material easier to grasp. She is also very helpful answering questions in lab, lecture, and office hours. If you need her help (and you probably will) she's always there for you. For a tough course, I couldn't imagine a better professor.
The most difficult class I've ever taken. Unfortunately, her "study guide" is just a list of parts you need to know for her practical tests only. That's it, no other info is given for what will be on her extremely difficult exams. Assigns homework and popquizzes frequently. Very painful class.
Nice and funny, but a really challenging teacher. Expect to study your a** off! You need to practically know every detail of the human body down to the anal columns, spell everything right, and make sure to use singular/pleural words correctly. Practical exams are fair, but multiple choice exams are a neightmere! Good luck!
PROS: Funny, nice, approachable, willing to help if you ASK, curves, young-at-heart, and likes to feed students w/food & candy! CONS: Hard (and she knows it), must READ chapters before class, only helps if you ASK, tests (practical-picky & multiple choice-very challenging), gives homework, quizzes (sometimes pop), and talks really fast.
RUN FAR AWAY. She is by far the WORST instructor I've ever had! I still cringe @ the very sight of her in the hallways. I've never met ANYONE with this woman's ego, its awful. She never answers your questions, instead she flips the question back to you. She is MOST unhelpful, because she's too consumed w/ her own personal life. You're on your own!
hated it to the core. This woman should NOT teach. Has an ego bigger than the room, competes with other women, has favorites and tricks you with the "candy kindness". The only C I ever had after studying sooooo hard. Horrible. Took other life sciences including physics and biochem so speaking from the heart: DO NOT TAKE THIS WOMAN, RUN 4 YOUR LIFE
you guys are all crazy, TERI IS AWESOME! :) she really goes over the info and will always help you clarify something if you take the time to ask. I have also had he for some physio 2a lec/lab and she is very helpful there as well. She's fun and very knowledgable and she brings yummy snacks :)
Run don't walk! She's proud that an "A" is virtually unobtainable in her class, MC tests are ridiculously hard, loves the sound of her own voice but you can't get any real explanations, she can't teach you beyond reading from the book powerpoint site for her "lecture." Really, don't take this professor!!!!!!
SHE GOES FAST GIVES LITTLE CLUES ABOUT WHAT THE EXAMS WILL COVER -- ITS A GUESSING GAME
not a horrible person, but an extremely difficult teacher. in lecture, she was hard to follow and he hands out the notes before class and jumps all around the notes while he's going over them. the exams are very difficult to get good grades on.
A difficult teacher. She doesn't teach -- she reads from the powerpoint slides. She doesn't give clear outlines on what is on the test. She loves to hear herself talk. Don't take her class you'll regret it.
TRENDLER is honestly the worst when it comes to teaching. if you are willing to learn on your own and show up to lectures to have some lady blab incomprehensibly then this is the teacher for you. she's more interested in her snacks than helping students-EVEN WHEN YOU DO ASK FOR HELP SHE DOES NOT HELP! she IS the worst instructor in pcc.
she is a horible teacher ! the very worst teacher i have ever had at pcc. she does not teach and likes to hear herself talk. DO NOT TAKE HER
the new hybrid class she teaches is a disaster. she cannot lecture, and she uses that as an excuse not to give any direct answers ever. skip the hybrid.
the hybrid class wont be listed in course schedule, so you wont know til you show up. the subj is super hard. not allowed to lecture makes it 100 x harder. she really knows her stuff, and if you are smart enough to understand a detailed answer she is very helpful. i had to drop the class b/c i was failing, like more than 50% of the class was.avoi
this hybrid class was a living nightmare. she never teached us anything.not helpful at all. Lecture was "online" like if it was useful. practical is ok but the written is just hard. this class was a big mystery, expect the unexpected. good luck to anyone taking her
Just DO NOT take this hybrid class. Stay away from her b.caus she is the only one teaching the hybrid(Unless you already have taken and aced physiology or anatamy alread). Do Not Take her class, as it's the HYBRID .
A lot of the comments about Trendler are unfair. If you are willing to study hard than take her and you will really enjoy the class and learn a lot. But if you are willing only to do enough to get by then don't take her because you will end up writing negative reviews about her that are not true.
If it is the "hybrid" class do NOT take it! She refused to lecture and was not even very helpfull in lab. Try a different teacher if possible. Written tests often had questions about very minor details so unless you can memorize 200 pages of details for every test your in trouble. Also requires you to do idiotic community service projects.
This teacher does not teach at all. The student has to learn the material on their own and her test are super hard. She is not very helpful. I dont recommend her since you might find this class very challenging. It is difficult to do well in her class. Everything was pretty much clueless for me. It was like you have to be a genius to pass her class
She is a nice person, however she does not teach very well. I believe she knows the topics she teaches, she just can NOT put it into understandable form for her students. I believe she is also afraid to give too much information to clarify what will be on the test.
i cant believe that they will let her still teach. i cant stand her at all...she tried to make me look like a moron but i didn't let that happen. i made her look like a moron when i went to complain to the dean about her.trendler will not teach or ansewr your questions. she is to busy wit her own ego and her test are insane hard. dont take her!
Professor Trendler is so fun! Her lectures get to be a bit too much at times, but that comes with the material. The subject is hard, she tries her best to make it clear, and as far as I know, it gets through. Her exams are hard, but it's straight forward. She doesn't baby and expects you to know everything, which is reasonable.
"A bad workman always blames his tools" STUDY HARD! that's the only way to suceed in science class.
She is the worst professor I could have imagined. When you ask her a question, she will not give you an answer. All you will get in response is an awkward/cryptic question that is totally off subject and will make you even more confused. Every other Anat/Phys professor gives out study guides, yet she will make you memorize the entire book. AVOID!!!
College and classes are like this: You get what you put in. College is time to get serious, not fool around. Read the books and you will ace any science class, including this one, like I did. Indeed, a bad workman blames his tools.
Teri is a very nice, helpful professor, her lectures are interesting, and she got a lot of teaching experiences, she can answer all the questions you have, she got very acurate pronounciation of the floody terms, and has her own way to help you memorize the terms. She curves grades. You can pass it with 40%. So DO NOT DROP, and prepare to work hard
Do not be sad if you have to in this class. It is a chanllenging class, you have to try to memorize everyting for the 6 exams, she put a lot of details into them. Do not be discouraged if you get low grades on exams. Try your best, and work hard on it, most students who donot drop the class get A's and B's with 60% or above of the exams.
Interesting professor and challenging class, be prepare to work hard. Exams cover a lot of details, grades are curved.
OMG get ready for 4 Chapter tests with each chapter being 30+ pgs long and when you ask her what u should study specifically "everything goes" 150 question test. She is a very good professor though yeah the class is hard but hey thats college and MAKE SURE TO STAY for lab where she is the most helpful. never is annoyed by questions ASK THEM TRUST
A teacher should teach, not read a power point presentation from the screen. When asked about testing her response, know everything. Teacher is burnt out and puts very little effort into class. Again, appears read power point. She will answer questions but that's a small part of teaching.
A very hard class. Attendance is a must. Uses powerpoints. Must not strictly relay on the powerpoint expects you to read the whole chapter on your own. Gives quizzes very often. Tests are really hard. tests are a 50 question visual part. about 5-6 questions with essay style answer. and 100 mult choice. must have no social life to do well.
The classroom is never productive and lectures are always tangential. Do not take if you are not good at learning on your own.
This class requires a lot of work. This is true of any anatomy class. I will say her exams are hard in that they cover a lot of material. You can get an A without the curve, but you have to put the time into it. She is great at lab time - will answer questions and spend lots of time with you. She loves what she teaches.
I had straight A until I took this class. Avoid this class by any means. She does not tell you how she grades, she gives no review handouts and does not prepare you for the final. I felt like I was doing better than most students and still received a B. Lectures are boring powerpoints and half of the class falls asleep. Warning! STAY AWAY!
I struggled alot in this class and thought about withdrawing after MidTerm but I couldn't. I hung in there and thank God I passed it. Just in case you landed her Anatomy class, my advice is to stick with it and study all the materials. She's not that bad as many are saying but if you are looking for a walk in a park class, this is NOT it! Good Luck
I don't think I've ever studied so much for a class. There is so much info to MEMORIZE! Prof Trendler's exams were tough because of the amount of information she tested us on (5-7 chapters/exam). I mostly studied what she covered in class & did well. She's extremely helpful in lab and one on one. She knows her stuff!
I took her six week anat 25 class and it was pretty intense. Reading the text was a must. Tests were extremely curved. One would get 50% on tests and manage to get a C or B at the end. Field trips to the cadaver lab was interesting. If you have photographic memory then this id the class for you.
Slackers and grade-grubbers beware! Great professor, engaging, knowledgable, fair, but also demanding. This is not an easy A. However if you put in the work, study the textbook, come to lectures prepared, and actively take part in the labs, you will learn a lot and get the grade you deserve. Highly recommended for motivated, ambitious students.
Such a nice teacher. She's not hard, the subject is hard and some people aren't good with memorization. The tests are hard, but they're supposed to be. If you study the right stuff and you're lucky you'll get an A. She says to memorize "everything" so that's what makes people upset. I did learn more since I actually memorized everything though.
Professor T is not easy. You will have to read, highlight, and study your butt off if you want an A. She curves, but do not rely on it because most of the class will drop within the first 2 weeks. The remaining students will all be A or B students, so the curve will not help. If you pay attention and ask questions you will become an anatomy god.
I have never taken a professor that was this hard Try to avoid her class if possible trust me Does not give study guides have to make your own and guess what will be on exam. If you are not great with memory this class is not for you. When we started class we had 30 students by the end of the first week we only had 10
She doesn't have a clear grading scale, and she also doesn't really teach. She just explains her powerpoint. Prepare to read on your won a lot.
To do well in this class you're going to have to read everyday and participate in labs. Anatomy itself is not hard but there is a lot of info. The tests were extremely hard but by the end of class, I got used to the format. While this class gave me so much stress, I'm glad I took it with Professor T. She was very helpful and I learned a lot.
Well to make this quick grade is reliant upon 6 test. 50 question visual/100 point multiple choice :) not an easy class at all but my philosophy for me personally is, show up, pay attention, and READ/STUDY. that got me a B... and there is a curve btw.
Her class is not easy. If you are looking for an easy A don't take her. However, If you are looking to challenge yourself and learn a lot then absolutely take her! By the end of the semester there were only a handful of us left. I got an A but only because i literally spent every waking moment studying. You've been warned! Good luck!
This class is no joke. No study guides which make this even more difficult. Its your job to literally read the whole book. Dont get me wrong, Prof. Trendler knows her stuff and will answer all your questions, but it all 100% up to you to do the work. No homework, or quizzes. All tests. Multiple choice and visual. Good luck!
6 tests, 180 questions each, total 600 points. Exams: 80 points visual recognition, 100 points M/C. You have seconds to answer each question, so you NEED TO KNOW THE MATERIAL. Flashcards required, expect to go through at least 400/exam. ANAT25 is hard because the human body is complex. Very helpful in COVID-19 (esp w/internet issues). Gives EC.
Professor Trendler is a very tough professor. She's very strict and has her own rules. She's kinda rude when I am asking her a question. She doesn't give you a study guide for the test. She gives hard exam and it's 200 points. She doesn't give you something to earn extra credits. I would not recommend her unless you want to challenge yourself.
Pre-recorded lectures with many interruptions, doesn't lecture or review any past exams during meets on canvas or zoom. She requires you to book a one-on-one appt to review your examination, but mind you people work and have other classes to attend. Gives NO homework NO quizzes. 21 students dropped out of 30.
I took Professor Trendler in Spring 2020 and that was the hardest class I have ever taken in my entire life. She knows a lot about anatomy and is very passionate about it but your grade it made up only of her tests. When I would ask her a question she would steer around it and not having homework hurt my grade. Steer away!
Extremely disorganized. The test online are difficult, especially the visual aspect thanks to her wording. Her lectures are horrible, it is just her speaking about the pictures on her screen. The test timing is also ridiculous, she will upload a lecture on a Tuesday/Wednesday and the test Friday. And to top it off, you rarely know your grade!
I can't believe how much I've learned from Prof Trendler. Was it hard work?Yes, but it's not high school anymore. She's very thorough, thoughtful w/answers to questions, avail for office hours and really encourages you to work for your grade. What you put into her class will be reflected in ur grade.Anatomy is hard, and a lazy study ethic won't cut it
average professor makes the tests harder than they should be but gives a crazy grading curve
