She is definitely NOT the best prof ever, however she is very lenient, fair and fun. Time passes quickly in the class. Lecture notes are neat and clear. She is very friendly in her office hours with a big smile on her face, however sometimes she makes stuff more complicated than they are when you ask. And yes she is a HOT CHICK!

First mid-term is hard, second one and the final are challenging but appropriate. Very lenient on marks though. Overall, pretty good for a math teacher.

Excellent professor. If you are taking MAT1300 with her, you most probably don't need the hard copy of the text book (it's very expensive ), although you need to buy a good printer, they will be lots of print out for this class. The notes are very good.

Awesome prof! Calc was never a strong point for me, but her way of teaching definitely changed that and I ended up with an A+ in the class. Termeh is by far my favorite prof so far. This coming from a guy who got a 70 in highschool calculus, got an A in university integral calculus. I attribute that 110% to this prof. Definitely the most sincere and caring professor you will have for a Math course. She is fair and offers all her help, she responds to her emails within the same day and makes biostatistics a lot better.

Professor Termeh Kousha is the best prof I've had so far! She makes the material very interesting and easy to understand. I absolutely loved going to class (and I usually don't like math courses). Her exams and midterms are based on examples that are done in class and in DGD'd.

TERMEH FAN CLUB. She is the best! She could brighten up even the dreariest stats class with her love of the subject and her innate ability to teach. Assigned very relevant problems, and exams were very fair. Assigns from free online database, so don't buy the textbook. If I have the option to take her again, I definitely will!

Best professor and teacher in math that you can ever ask for. Her tests are straightforward and easy if you work hard and go to every lecture and DGD. Class average for test 1 was 70% and rumors have that around 30 people got 100%. A+ is not a dream if you do your part.

Really nice prof, very enthusiastic about her teaching. If you don't understand a concept seek help at her office hours ASAP. First midterm was kinda tricky but they drop your lowest test mark. Final was straight forward. Make sure you have ALL formulas on your cheat sheet (including linear regression). Do ALL the online questions & assignments.

at first I was like what is this course & couldnt understand how people thought it was easy and actually got 50% on the midterm but when u actually pay attention to class examples,practice from the book and her website questions its really not difficult esp the statistics part just aim for perfection on the final as it is basically your grade

She makes concepts seem very clear and understandable and her class is an easy A if you do your part as well and follow up on her lecture notes.

Termeh made this class much more enjoyable than it should've been. Do not take my final grade as any indication of her teaching because I shot myself in the foot. Termeh genuinely cares about the students and offers many office hours before midterms and exams. Midterm was very easy, exam was a bit more difficult but still fair. Termeh is also much better than the other MAT 1300 prof's. Also does a helpful review before tests which other prof's don't do. Overall, highly recommend, just don't talk in class

Any chance you get, I highly recommend you take Termeh! She definitely set the bar high for other professors... if you miss a lecture you may fall behind a lot because she does go a little fast in her lectures but she is so accessible outside of class and WANTS you to succeed! If you can memorize how to follow a procedure, you'll do fine in MAT1300. She's a fun prof who explains the math much more clearly that 99% of the other math profs at uOttawa. You can easily understand her unlike most other ones. I enjoyed the class even though I slacked off and didn't do as well as I know I could've.

This was the best class I took in first year. She really cares about her students and wants everyone to do well. If you have the chance to take a course with her take it! You wont regret it. Wish I could have her teach every class.

Any student deciding between Termeh and another prof needs to pick her. She is one of the most genuine professors you will ever come across in university. If you took high school calculus MAT1300 will be a breeze and she does her best to make calculus interesting and keep you listening for the full hour and half. Love this professor!

I couldn't recommend her more, she spends so much time making sure all the students understands and gives very predictable exams. Her lectures are clear and fun to attend. If you review the homework and in-class examples you're golden. Take any class she offers.

Termeh makes a horrible subject like Calculus enjoyable and even kind of fun (she constantly says how fun it is). She always has tons of energy, immediately stops the lecture if someone has a question. She also uses lots of examples and her tests are fair and represent what has been taught. When it comes to math, take her class whenever possible!

She is a very good teacher and an easy grader. All she requires from you is your attention and "quiet." She prepares you for the exams by telling you the areas of concentration, and she is available to answer any questions you may have. Don't take if you're not ready for fast-tracked math without a calculator amidst humour.

What I enjoyed about this class is that the teacher was the best teacher I have ever had in my life. Prof Kousha was stimulating, engaging, provided clear explanations, and was always there for her students. She provided extra office hours when exams were coming and also was always available to help after class hours.

Awesome prof! You don't have to attend the lectures but she explains really well. The HW might be a little tough. Do ALL the online bank questions, that's where she gets her exam questions. Midterm was straightforward. If your final mark is higher than the midterm, the weight will be shifted over so you will get the highest mark possible.10/10 prof

BEST MATH COURSE I HAVE EVER TAKEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. Termeh is such a genuine person and does nothing but care about her students. She is a wonderful teacher who takes time out of her own life to help students with what isn't clear. Exams are very clear, unintimidating, and very reflective of the course materials.

Basically, she tells you whats on the tests just with different numbers. No textbook required just show up for lectures and DGD and your pretty much set. Very nice prof and cares about her students.
