Anatomy is such a hard subject overall because no matter which teacher u take, there is a lot of memorization required. So, I would recommend Dr. Borman because she's very clear on which information is important for both the written and practical tests.

Anatomy is extremely hard. Her test are hard, you really have to study and take good notes. She is very nice and helpful, but if you are not a Medical Major this class is a waste of brain space.

Dr. Borman is a wonderful teacher. Like everyone has said, she's clear and tells you what to study for the tests. You can always go to her during class if you have ANY questions, she's willing to help you out. There is ExCrdit on the tests too! Mainly this course is all memorization.

Dr. Borman PhD is a great teacher. She explains everything you need to know and lets u record lectures, which is a good idea. She gives a handout with all the terms you need to know, and most importantly, if u ask her about stuff she'll tell u whether u need to know it for the test or not.

She is trying to make a hard class easier. Especially the advises that she gives to students about how to study.

I love this teacher! She was very helpful and although I had zero experience in any form of biology I passed the class with her help! Recommend her to all the students who are going into the nursing profession.

I took her class last year summer 05. We all know the subject is very hard BUT this teacher HELP you whenever she can. She is easy to approach, She gives you time to study and gives you extra credit too. I got a C but I HAD FUN on that class. it was really memorable. It wasn't her fault why i got the C is just me being all lazy but TAKE HER CLASS!

Very clear, concise and enthusiastic about Anatomy. You do have to put the work in to do well, it's all about your ability to memorize quickly and well.

This class has alot to do w/memorization. Xtremely hard if u don't put the time for study. Dr. Borman is the BEST (very approchable) u can ask her anything.. Pntrs:buy a dig. camera for lab pix of models & cells, record her lectures if u hate reading. U will def. need the book for this class to study the diagrams. Listen to rcrded lects in shower. Anatomy is demanding subject. Dr. Borman is an awesome professor. She is so enthusiastic & makes anatomy very interesting. She is very helpful. Record her lectures & listen. make use of the labtime. If you want you can get an A in her class. Remember Anatomy is a time consuming subject & you cannot cram.

Terri is excellent, maybe one of the best instructors I have personally had. The course requires decent memorization skills & you must put in the study time, but Dr. B will help any way she can. I wish she taught Physo as well. Record her lectures & take pics of the models...live in the study lab.

You have to be dedicated to do well in her anatomy class, but Dr. Borman is hands down the clearest, most organized, fair teachers you will ever have...stay for the whole class and she will help your group or individual attention; she will also bring out the best slides and models and or give a mini-lesson.

Anatomy is hard! If you want a good, fun, helpful teacher Dr. Borman is perfect! She is really funny and entertaining and she notices if you're a good student or not. Multiple choice sometimes tricky, but there is always extra credit. She is soooo helpful and always at her office, answers emails, you have to make the effort. A's not impossible.

Take my advice, if you have to take anatomy, take Dr. Borman's class. Clear, concise, knowledgeable, and really nice. Tape her lectures, follow her study guide and study your gluteus maximus/medius & minimus off and you will get an A in this class. DR. BORMAN ROCKS!

Dr Borman was a decent professor. Quirky and had her "B Moments" but was very helpful and tried her hardest to teach this subject. In my opinon i dont think its possible to teach all of human anatomy WELL in one semester with the amount of time given but Terri definatly layed out all the basics. The rest is up to the student.

Dr. Borman is THE teacher to take for anatomy...this is not an easy class...for anyone...but, if you study hard, tape the lectures, stay for the entire class and pay close attention to detail you will get an excellent grade. Do yourself a favor and take Dr. Borman if you need Anatomy. Plus, she is really cool, funny and smart...great combo!

Dr. Borman is fantastic. She knows her subject very well and teaches very clearly. She leaves lots of time for studying in lab. Her tests are straightforward, and there are never any surprises: if you study what's in her outline, you'll do fine. Very engaging and entertaining, and always in a good mood.

Her lectures are very engaging and she knows her stuff very well... She's always very helpfull when you ask her questions. Has an outline on what the test will on and always gives extra credit questions at the end!

Very fair and clear. Good study guides and extra credit on all tests. Good lectures and ties in well with textbook. Patient with questions and listens well. It's a tough subject & requires effort, but if you stick to her guidelines you will learn it and get a good grade. VERY good teacher.

Written exams are decent but the practicals are HARD because you have to be specific and spell everything correctly. The only reason why her class was hard.

Great professor! She tells you everything that will be on the test. You basiclly just need to study on your own to get a good grade. It is usually one hour and a half of lecture and the rest of the class is lab. There are 6 test days. Consists of a written exam which multiply choice questions, and a practical exam which is identifying models.

love her! i was going to take samaan because i heard it was multiple choice tests but im sooo glad i didnt because dr. borman provides study guides with the terms you need to know and notes that will be on the test!(samaan doesnt) she makes everything easy, just have to memorize. this is the easiest class compared to micro. its SO HARD!

Every spring, PCC offers a cadaver class. It's almost a secret. For folks who excelled in anatomy (and who are into it) the dissection class is incredible. Be prepared to present on an organ system with pathology discovered in your cadaver.

This class is easy compared to other anatomy classes so I will give it a 4; however, you still need to study a lot because it is an Anatomy class after all. She basically feeds you everything you need to know for the test and she also gives a study guide. Extremely knowledgable lady and very nice too.

This class is clear to the point. She will give lectures. And you will be rested 6 times. Written and lab practical. The final is the 6th test. Not accumulative. This class s should not be taken with a heavy load in spring or fall. As a professor she is great on helping and telling u what is needed. This class will either make you or break u.

This class should be your first academic priority. Make flashcards from your lecture notes (w drawings, if needed), photocopy the diagrams & make flashcards of them too, study the models. Study at least 1 hr per day & you'll be fine (even if you just do each chapter once). If you can do that, it's an easy A bc her tests are very straightforward.

She's so patient, clear, and very detailed with her lectures. The difficulty level is high bc the course itself is difficult. She gives partial credit for her tests and grades are based off of 6 total exams. No hw. Attendance isnt mandatory, but with Anatomy ur gonna WANT to come bc you miss 1 lecture youll be behind for the next exam TAKE BORMAN

anatomy is tough. but if you ask her ANY questions she will give a very detailed very helpful response that clarifies the anatomy so that you will understand. you MUST study pretty much every day. it's a lot of memorization and the only way you can memorize this much is to study it every day. lovely person. very willing to work and talk with you.

Listen closely to what she says in her lectures. She will let you know everything that is going to be on the test and there will be no surprises. Her power points are the test and her ability to answer questions are superb. She has patients and gives everybody a fair chance to pass the class. If you can't pass the class, go back to high school. ha

Most amazing, caring, and wonderful teacher. Her lectures are clear, interesting and its based on PowerPoint so take good notes. Very knowledgeable lady. Don't be afraid to ask her questions, because she always does her best to clarify everything that you need to know. Be ready to study models, diagrams and read a lot. 60 written, 60 practical.

Online nutrition was a very exhausting class. Lots of notes like 3 quizzes a week, not kidding. Shes very clear in what she wants and gives lots of feedback.

Dr. Borman is honestly one of the best professor's I have had all throughout my college career. She works so hard to make sure her students understand the material and wants you to pass. Ask a bunch of questions and study the study guide and powepoints more than anything and you will pass! She is honestly an amazing teacher we need more like her!

Attending lectures are pivotal to passing the class, especially if memorization isn't your thing. Be ready to memorize both textbook information and models. It helps to read ahead after a test. Nonstop studying with this class, although she's very clear on what to expect. Don't study last minute. Very caring, understanding and sweet professor.

Anatomy is a tough class, a lot of work and time needed to focus. Prof does give study guides and some extra credit questions on practical. Also goes over models/diagrams, allows you to record her during lectures and review of models. Some extra studying needed outside of class. Didn't use book, just her slides (unless she tells you "read section")

The kindest professor I've ever had at pcc. Very passionate about anatomy and more than willing to help her students. As long as you're good at memorizing, taking anatomy should be fine. Use your time during lab to study for practical. Everything Borman says on the lecture and powerpoint is on the exam so take good notes!

She's a great professor, although this class requires you to study for long durations. If your anything like me and dont have great memorization skills then you will need to study for hours which no one likes to hear. I was in a class of 35 students or so and by the final there was less than half of the students still in class. STUDY HARD

One of my favorite PCC professors. She is super nice and is there to help you with any questions you have. She is very clear on what she wants you to know for the test and offers a lot of time in class to go over/study the models. You just have to put in the time to memorize and study the material (lectures). Thanks for making Anatomy fun for me :)

She is very nice, helping and amazing! She hates it if you leave early (although she doesn't show it) so stay in class throughout the lab! Grading is 90% test and 10% participation. However, it is important to ask her lots of questions and form study groups in order to get an A or a B. No homework and attendance is important! Textbook not required.

Dr. Boreman is really there for her students. Lectures are it. Can't miss them. Not a lot of homework, but don't be fooled, this is one tough class. Dr. Boreman does her best to explain everthing, and is really helpful during lab time. She is so interested in the topic, and has a great personality that you enjoy being in the class.

Dr. Borman is so helpful and caring. She makes Anatomy more fun and easier for students. She is also very clear about what she wants in the test and based it on her study guide, which is also very helpful! Textbook are not really required since she lecture on slides, but the book has many diagrams that she will require you to look up youself.

Please take Dr. Borman! She is truly the best and so sweet. I've never met a professor who is THIS kind. The class will be difficult if you don't put in the time and memorize, but its Anatomy! I thought the class was very fun despite the amount, but if you are trying to go in the medical field, this class should be easy! It's such an essential!

Dr. B is a such a caring teacher , shes a nice person although her class isnt a piece of cake . I assure anyone who plans to take this class , youll need lots of your free time to be deducted and use it to study . She specifically tells you whats on the test so thats an advantage ! Shes overall the best professor for this class.

My first year at Pasadena I took her and anatomy overall is a hard class but she's very helpful and clear. I had to drop but took her again the next semester and with a little more dedication I passed. She's the sweetest, love her. Take her.

Based off of 6 practicals and 6 written tests along with participation. She really cares about her students and wants them to succeed. You really can't slack off with this class unless you wanna fail. Plenty of time to study in class and the rest is up to you on how much you put in. Mainly memorization, so it will take time no matter what.

During COVID, online was a little adjustment that push us back a bit but we caught up. She tells you everything that will be on the test and provides extra credit as well. Love this lady!!

She is amazing no lie, i love her. You can ask her like more than 20 questions about topics you don't understand and she'll explain it to you until you do. She loves this subject and you can tell. Anatomy is ALOT, there's no hmw BUT you have to study almost everyday in order to get the grade you want. Her class is not curved.

Make sure you study every single day because anatomy is not easy but, this professor is very helpful and patient. She helped me when my grade was struggling and I appreciated her so much.
