very clear and easy to understand. i hate math but with his teaching style, i understood every step, hes a prime example of what all math teachers should be. if you dont understand he will try harder. he cares if you get the material or not and his tests and exams are straight forward.

very good teacher, funny dude. keeps the class locked in on his teachings. knows how to communicate very well with the students. Mr. Mead prepares his students incredibly for tests and quizzes. This man should get 'teacher of the year award' (if they have those kind of things around here).

He is the hottest math teacher! I ran into him at my work one time, and we actually had a good conversation. He is a great teacher and he loves to teach, i like his diff eq. "monkey on a mass" demo....the good ole days. Great TEACHER!

This class was great! Mead is one of the best math teachers I have ever taken. He is very clear and slow when discussing "how-to" and writes notes on the board for you to copy! Test Days, he would sometimes set up a "class" for tutoring! U can use notes on all tests (even final). I loved Mead! I wish all my Professors were like him!

He's really nice and easy going. He even sometimes talks in different accents to make math fun. Very attractive, but unfortunately taken :( Cares about his students doing well. Okay Mead is a good teacher. You need to do your homework & study to do well in this class. However, compared to other Calc teachers, Mead is the best @ CCC. So i would recommend taking him. He has tests after each chapter & his reviews are harder then the test so if you know everything on the review then you will do good on the test. &He is HOT!!!

Down-to-earth teacher. Makes math interesting even though it's not. And he goes thru alot to do that. Thats why if u show signs of uninterest(sleep, leave early etc.) he'll get extremely pissed. Like INCREDIBLE HULK pissed! Take him, he'll make sure you learn, and he won't slaughter your grade in the process. Which is rare in college...

I really enjoyed learning from Mr. Mead. He is a really nice and down-to-earth kind of guy who totally understands any problem you may have. He is very flexible and always willing to help. Mr Mead is one very SKILLED math teacher. I definitely recommend this teacher.. Warning to those taking calc III. Make sure you can do his practice problems QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY. His tests are easy, but VERY LONG. Don't let him catch you off guard. DO AS MANY PRACTICE PROBLEMS AS YOU CAN.

i took professor Mead's 118 class my first semester @ CCC and i hated math til i got in that class. he makes you want to learn math more, he's an excellent teacher, very nice and helpful, also he's very adorable!!

Professor Mead is a GREAT professor! I hate math but after not taking math for over 4 years I felt as if I had not forgotten a thing! Hes simply awesome I HIGHLY reccomend him. He makes it all clear and helps as much as possible! Believe me he's great! Plus he has awesome muscles to gaze at! Very attractive man I must add!

I really recommend this teacher! He is one of the best math teachers at CCC. He also has a sense of humor. His teaching style is a bit fast, however.

I walked into this class not caring for math and walked out lovin it. He's a really great teacher. Explains everything really well. All of the quizzes and tests are no surprise cause he goes over them before the actual quiz or test AND you get to use notes! He's got a good sense of humor, that's a plus.

Mr. Mead is one one the best professors that CCC has to offer. I despise math to the point I will avoid taking any courses, but this is the second I have taking him for math. He is excellent because he explains every step and is very clear. If you have questions ask, he will be there to help you.

Mr. Mead is the greatest teacher in the history of academia. If you need to take math, calculus or statistics, he is the ONLY choice. You are doing yourself a disservice by not having him as your math professor. Done deal.

Mr. Mead was the best teacher I've ever had. He teahes well and has great teaching methods, and is always happy to answer your questions. He has a positive attitude and energy not only was his class easy, but I learned alot.

Mr. Mead is awesome! He explains everything as many times as it takes for you to get it. He loves using different colors while doing problems on the board which makes it easier to follow along. He's a very friendly guy who likes to crack jokes. Whatever you do, don't leave class earlier without letting him know before hand. T

Mr. Mead is awesome. He's sarcastic and has his little lame funny jokes sometimes which keep his lectures from being boring. He's a really cool and chill teacher. There's homework every week, but it's super easy if you actually go to class. There's like 3-4 midterms, but they're not hard and plus he lets you use notes.

His tests are very straightforward no surprises. He allows a page of notes for tests (these were essential for me). His lectures are great, he's very happy, down-to-earth, and probably the best math professor I've ever had (and I've taken a lot of math classes). *Pay attention and keep up with the homework.

Really makes lectures interesting, but he goes a little fast. Wish I'd read the chapters before coming to class each day. He goes back to the basics of topic on tests, and adds some hard-ass questions too. Went to math lab for help on practice test and tutor had no clue. Take home quizzes harder than in class tests

He's hilarious! He makes a lot of dad or math jokes but he always keeps the class entertaining and is possibly the only male math teacher who can pull of shorts and pink. He's really clear in class, answers any questions & prepares you well enough for your test. One of the best math teachers at CCC.

He's such a good teacher& even w/ my medical issue mid semester I was able to pass the class with a B& I think if I didn't have my issue and came to class more I surely could have gotten an A. Moral of the story: come to class always on time & ask questions. Don't fall behind on the hw bcos it helps! He's very helpful, kind, and funny! Great guy!

Mr. MEAD is by far the best Stats instructor at CCC. Not easy but he is patient, funny, and really wants his students to succeed. I am a visual learner and his colorful organized notes on the board really helped me understand statistics. Gives extra credit and lets us use 1 page of notes on exams. Go to class, do HW, study, and you will pass!!!!

I usually fall asleep in math classes. Not this one. Mr. Mead adds jokes to his lectures (and tests) that keep math from being boring. He emphasizes real-life applications. He is very understanding; will extend hw deadlines sometimes and lets us have notes on tests and quizzes.

The BEST professor ever. I took a Mon.-Thurs. class and I had no problem getting up and going to class. That says a lot about a professor. If you have the opportunity to take his class, you should!

I just transferred to UCB and am taking bio stats&everything Mr. Mead taught me is crystal clear. Man i MISS HIM! He was a great teacher and person. Really wish he could teach this class im taking now but he prepared me enough to not feel lost and i appreciate him! Took him fall 2015. Youre the BEST Mr. Mead! I mean it! Terril is an amazing math professor. He cares about his students & very much cares that you understand the material. He is organized with the way he writes on the board & makes things easy to break down by using many colored markers. He has extra credit. He is extremely nice & keeps class light by cracking jokes. His lectures are very thorough and easy to understand. He also does lots of practice problems. He allows cheat sheets on exams which is very helpful. Online homework isn't too bad but make sure to get it done. Overall the best math teacher I've had at CCC.

Listen, I HATE math with a passion and am TERRIBLE at it. That being said, I took Mead and it was the very first time I actually understood math and actually, wait for it-LOVED IT! He lets you use notes for tests and the final but the online homework is time consuming so take care of that and you'll pass! Go to office hours for help and you're set.

Mr Mead is a great teacher. He wants you to do great in his class. He makes alot of jokes about what he is teaching and wants you to really get in. He does give out alot of homework online and on paper but he is linnet about turning it in.

Honestly the best Professor I have had the honor to be taught under. He really cares for each and everyone of his students. Math is tough for most students but he teaches the subject on a personal pace so no one feels too far behind. Would HIGHLY recommend.

Best math teacher EVER. I've never had a math teacher better than Mead. He's funny, helpful, and really cares. He started making YouTube videos (Professor Mead CCC) to help us study and it's great. He explains everything well & doesn't rush. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about Mead - he will relieve your anxiety about stats/math in no time.

He is the best math professor I have ever taken, he makes sure you understand statistics in a way YOU could learn it. He has office hours so if you need more help he is very willing to do so. Terrill made my learning experience very challenging but memorable, I highly recommend.

I hate math with a passion and Mr. Mead is just the best teacher ever because I actually knew what he was teaching and he also gives a lot of examples which helps with the homeworks. I took the class with the extra S class and it helped me so much it was so easy to pass even though statistics can be tricky. All lecture notes help pass exams.

Professor Mead is caring, a clear and concise lecturer, and if all you're looking for is applications and cutting to the final result then Mead is the professor for you. That being said, I think if you're looking for the deeper mathematical meaning behind topics he may not be what you're looking for. Overall great person and teacher.

This was by far my favorite class this fall. I personally hate math but after taking Professor Meads class, I LOVED IT! He is such a caring professor. He spends multiple hours and time after class to help his students understand the material. He also made the class smile because he has a bright funny personality. The material is straightforward.

I took Mead for Calc 3 and Diff EQ over COVID. Please take him! He wants you to learn the material! I have never had a professor like him who wants us to succeed! No exams, but quizzes, group projects & lots of assessments and homework. Im so lucky I got to take him, Ill always remember him as the most caring and understanding prof Ive had :)

Professor Meed was one of the nicest professors I had for math and this was my first semester of online college let alone just college. He made me feel like I could pass his class and was always funny in zoom meetings. He always likes to engage the class by asking questions about our morning at the beginning of class. Overall, he was great! 10/10

Prof. Mead is one of the best math teachers at CCC. He adapted very well to the online learning format and posted clear and helpful notes on canvas, recorded every lecture, had office hours every week, and was lenient with late homework. He wants everyone to succeed and learn the material. We did not have any exams but he does assign hw every week.

He is extremely friendly and optimistic about everything, his handwriting is very legible, he records every single lecture, he color codes everything, he happily answers questions, and he responds to emails fairly quickly. It is very obvious how much he wants you to learn and succeed. Take his class!!!

10/10! I almost wish I had to take other math courses just so I could have him again. The best teacher/professor I have ever had. Requires no textbook for this class. Plenty of time to catch up on homework during lab time, he makes sure you understand all of the lessons, he is so funny, caring, and as long as you do the work you will get an A+

He color codes the lecture which is very helpful. His lectures are engaging and not boring. Little homework. No finals, just summary quizzes but you can always look at your notes. I wish all teachers were like him. I strongly suggest him if you're taking math. Funny and caring teacher. Also for the stat students: staaaAAATTT CRUNCH lol.

This class was really easy. Professor Mead is very engaging and extremely patient he answers questions and gives good advice. The stats class I took consisted of doing the unit test, doing homework ( in which you have unlimited tries), and some labs. He is very understanding if you want a low-stress math class this is definitely the class.

I was always so bad at math and thought I was stupid but he taught the class at such a slow pace and would review concepts that confused us even if we'd be behind. 1 open note chapter quiz after every unit (open note), 5, 10 question hw's/week (very easy). lowest 5 hw's and 1 quiz dropped. Great notes!

Awesome professor and he takes lots of care of his students. He is super encouraging and he is helpful beyond measures. His goal is to see all his students succeed and he wants to help you get there. Wrote his own text book to best help his students and he is phenomenal.

Great sense of humor, easy to talk to, gives out snacks in class, 10/10 dude. The material was pretty hard, but that's just calculus. Take advantage of his office hours!
