He only gives lectures, but they are very interesting (jokes/stories/class discussion). He also likes to show videos. He only gave us 3 tests, which were all multiple choice and very easy. You don't need to take notes because he gives them to you. He's genuinely a good person and teaches well.

This is the coolest guy at Meramec. He showed us a South Park clip once to make a point about Multiple Personality Disorder. He tells a lot of jokes and cool stories and will always help you out if you need it.

Hey, the best teacher I've ever had!!! Even though there is not much studying in this class, I still remember almost everything from that class. I think, it is because he was very funny, interesting and interested in subject matter.

Took a couple of classes with terry. He made the subject actually somewhat interesting considering i had very little interest in the subject. Tests were very easy if you pay attention in class or read the $7 book of notes. Don't really need to do both.

professor cooper is a great teacher. His class is really simple and interessting. His tests are a breeze and he tells a lot of really corny jokes. He's a lot of fun and is very knowledgable about psychology.

Terry is an awesome person, I took the class last summer, summer '04 and I do not test well at all, but I got B's on them :) He gives you a book of all his handouts, so you don't need to take notes! I highly recommend you take Terry for any Psych class :)

Terry is a very intersting guy, and that alone is enough to get interested in what he has to say. He tells stories so well that when I was talking about him to someone else I could repeat it word for word. The class is easy and Fun!

I have never had a class that was as interesting as this. Cooper makes it fun to be in his classroom, and makes psychology extremely interesting. Even if you are not majoring in psychology, take his class. I would sit in on his class even if I didn't get the credit.

This is one of the best teachers i have had. very helpful, will allow test makeups , somewhat difficult tests , but not bad at all if you study, funny too ,makes the material interesting and the class fun

I have had Cooper for 3 classes; I wish he taught many many more here. He cares about his students, and although many students try to take advantage of this, his style of teaching makes it easy for you to understand and think deeply on the subject. He maintains the interest of the class for the full period. He's fantastic!

AMAZING. He doesn't take attendance, but you don't even have to come to class to understand the material. My class didn't use a textbook - he binded only the info you need to know together for easy studying. Knows his stuff and is a great teacher/guy. Very easygoing and fun; you will actually enjoy his lectures.

This was my second class with coop and he was just as good this time as the first. He has some REALLY bad puns, but his quirky sense of humor makes his classes unique. If you dont pass coops class its your own fault...tests dont come easier and he could explain any personality theory to anyone who has never had a psy background and theyd know it

He is the easiest teacher I have ever had, primarily because he explains the material so clearly during lectures. He wrote his own textbook, which only costs $10.00, and any material you need for the test is covered clearly inside it. I got a 98% in the course without even trying. He is hands down the funniest teacher I've ever had as well.. A+++!

He is awesome. You never have to go to class! I only went on the review days and test days and I got a 95% in his class. He is really funny and doesnt care if you are on your phone or anything else. he also cancels class all the time. Easiest class I ever took!

While he is prone to getting off-point the diversions are almost always fun, and he's always willing to find time for students outside of class. Dr. Cooper can get off subject but it is always helpful. He makes learning fun and puts information in real life situations. He is one of the best professors I have had.

I absolutely loved him. He kept the class interesting by joking around and telling stories, but at the same time we were learning a ton of material. Attendance isn't mandatory, and you only have 2-3 tests the whole time.

i had 6 classes with Dr.Cooper, then proceeded to buy additional books he wrote, they are always out on lone. he will definitely entertain and is an easy going cool guy, (always available to meet). but if you want a life changing experience read the textbooks he writes and check out some of sources. this guy shoud be the head of university

I took him for an abnormal psychology class years ago and he is still hands down, the best teacher I've ever had! Psychology is interesting already and Dr. Cooper made it even better. He was funny and years later I remember things from this class. His class is easy but psychology is an important topic.

Literally one of the EASIEST courses i have ever taken, only 2 tests (which he makes beyond easy) and a final reflection paper that you turn in and get an A. If you're satisfied with your grade, you dont have to take the final. i highly recommend this teacher, super nice, makes lectures interesting and barely takes attendance.

Dr. Cooper is a Professor who is patient, and understanding. If he goes over something and you don't understand, he will give the class an opportunity to ask questions so that he can clarify any misunderstandings. He also sometimes lingers around after class so that students have the opportunity to come up to him for questions. He makes class fun.

Cooper is my fav prof. at Meramec. He is there for his students and their success. He helped me with way more than psychology this semester. I am definitely taking his other courses. He is funny, relevant, and makes the class enjoyable. His textbook is cheap and easy to read. You don't really need to take notes, just listen and concentrate.

He's a goofball but quite lovable. His tests are kind of all over the place and easy if you have basic knowledge of Abnormal Psych. He has a wealth of clinical experience and knowledge and he is always interested in learning new things. His lectures are a little bit scattered but he's very very entertaining.

Fave prof. ever! He genuinely cares about his students and wants class to be an enriching experience. He doesn't expect perfection and makes his students comfortable. I wish I could take more courses with him but my major doesn't allow it. He is more of a personal friend or colleague than a teacher. You can talk with him about anything.

He was an awesome prof. for my first semester of college. Very chill and relaxed. His lectures are intriguing and if you pay attention and write some notes you'll do well on tests. He also gives out study guides for tests and if very friendly and extremely funny. He also likes to discuss topics and give students chances to voice their opinion.

This class was probably the easiest I've ever taken. Terry is one of the funniest teachers and will have you laughing. His tests are a joke. I rarely showed to class and still passed with flying colors. His a bit disorganized but he's very empathetic. Prepare to laugh.

This was definitely the easiest and funnest class I've taken so far! Professor Cooper is very nice and good at what he does. I can tell that he genuinely cares about his students. He ordered 20 boxes of pizza for my class this semester and it was awesome! His lectures are the best because he actually talks to you and talks about his experiences!

Very funny guy, enjoys getting music suggestions from students and he is very easy to talk to and get along with. Very little work required to pass, just read and pay attention in class and you're good, he'll even go over what's going to be on the test with you so you know what to look for in your book when you study.

Cooper was very lenient. He gave 2 tests that were kind of hard, but if you studied well you will pass, even at that, when going over the test as a class he would give percentage points back for the test. I went from 76% to an 84%. The only thing was his tests were a little messy. Also, he was late often, but he was the best professor!

Dr. Cooper lectures are funny, usually filled with "You Tube" videos and lots of laughs. You can relate to his discussions and always provides time for Q&A. His tests are great, I believe they are 50-ish questions, all multiple choice and at least 15 are easy points "Who played Jack in Titanic" type of questions.

Dr. Cooper is someone I have a lot of respect for. He is willing to see things from the students' perspective and adapt his lessons to the learning styles of his students. They tests were fairly easy, but we really learned the material. His study sessions were very helpful, and he was always there after class to discuss issues.

He's an amazing teacher I've already signed up to take 2 more of his classes. I was an easy A all you have to do is show up for class the first couple of weeks and then come for the test days. His lectures are really intresting and he's a really nice funny guy. He only has 3 tests and one of them is optional. But his test are super easy.

Terry Cooper is smart, very funny, and his lectures are actually fun to sit through. I took General Psychology as a summer course, & class consisted of watching interesting videos, telling personal stories regarding to certain topics, and class discussion. Even though it was an easy A, I learned a lot about psychology and had fun.

I loved taking his class! There were two or three tests and a final, which were all very easy because it was based off the study guide/notebook you buy from the school store. His lectures were fun to listen to and he would often have the class watch YouTube videos when he wasn't lecturing. Overall it was a fun and easy class to take.

I'm sad to announce that Dr. Terry Cooper no longer teaches at STLCC Meramec. What was once his office for many years is not anymore, and he's not listed in the fall classes. I will say that while he was teaching, he was a great mentor, and friend who looked after his students and wanted them to succeed. I wish him the best. Wherever he may be.
