He wears the same ol' baggy black sweater everyday, but that's okay, since he's a great teacher. He explains everything well, however, he likes to talk FOREVER, so don't take his class if you have one in the Science building right after!

Terry is THE best prof at UCC. I have taken several courses with him and he's the reason why I chose to minor in Political Science. Very fair grading / exams, excellent enthusiasm - makes you care about what's going on in the World!

His lectures, both verbally and physically (and for Terry, a lecture is a very physical - and I imagine exhausting - event) glide from mannerism to awkward mannerism with scarcely a normal gesture or a complete sentance in between. And yet you can't help loving him! He is a class act & a great prof.

Terry is one of my favourite teachers at TRU/UCC! He's a very knowledgable prof that always turns borring content and turns it into a comedy routine to make it interesting! Overall, Terry really loves what he's doing and it rubs off on his students for them to do well in the course: i did!

Terry Kadding is easily the best prof I've had in my 3 years of post-secondary education. He really engages the class, presents information clearly and in an interesting manner, and is passionate about the material. I can still see him frantically pacing the room, coffee in hand, opening up worlds to students, & giggling maniacally all the while.

I thought I'd fall asleep or just skip alot of my late night class with Terry but it's the highlight of my week! But can that much coffee and lemon flavoured water be good for a person? lol. Terry rocks!!

Terry has turned all my ideas of contemporary political ideologies upside down and inside out-in other words, he has done his job, and has done it well. I would recommend taking this class to take you out of complacency.

Good teacher, and a very interesting class. His exams were pretty hard though, you gotta read and know the book well.

Great prof! Passionate about what he teaches and very dynamic. He is constantly moving, which strangely draws your attention to him at all times. His tests are a bit tough, but everything you need to know is on overheads and he gives you plenty of time to copy the notes. The topics are interesting, even if poli sci isn't your thing.

Really fun teacher who makes politics really interesting! Our class had really good discussions about all the issues. Only 3 essays, and we didn't use the textbook for much more than getting references. Can that much lemon water be good for a person?

Terry is an incredible prof who really knows his stuff, but is in no way arrogant about it. He encourages class discussion and questions and is always willing to help a student get a higher grade if he/she is willing to try. His classes are always entertaining and his sarcasm and insight will crack you up!

Made Poli 1110 an interesting and even entertaining course despite the otherwise dry content he had to teach. Very approachable, great at answering questions, and always willing to answer them. Dreaded taking the course initially, but it ended up being one of my favorites!

Good teacher, explains the subject very well and can answer any question with a good answer. Grades fairly, likes lots of evidence from the textbook in opinion papers. Wasn't a big fan of the textbook (political ideologies H.B. McCullough)

Great and enthusiastic teacher! Both helpful and knowledgable on material. He made political science interesting and generated good conversation relevant to course material.

Terry was great - lectures were interesting, notes were good and he's got a great sense of humour. He marks his papers tough, but if you work hard and know your stuff it's not too bad. Very understanding about extensions (if needed) and personal issues. Highly recommend!

Incredibly interesting lectures, but don't be surprised if and when your essays get a far weaker mark than you expected. I usually get A's on essays but I'm pulling crappy B's with his class. The exams are easy to ace with perfect marks as long as you attend class and study, though, so I guess it balances out if you're worried about your GPA.

Loved Terry! He makes political science really interesting and his lectures are super easy to follow. His papers are straight forward, and as long as you attend classes you'll do fine. Would definitely take another class with him!

He is probably my favourite professor I've had so far. Prepare for jokes and pronounced hand gestures, but the guy gives lectures that are both informative and humorous, and always welcomes class discussion. I would also describe him as fairly unbiased, as he can convincingly argue for any ideology.

Poli 1210 with Terry was amazing! Honestly, I loved Poli Sci so much with Terry I'm planning on dropping out of my bachelor of science program and taking political science instead! Great teacher and great class.

Terry is such a kind guy. He just bops around and swings his arms everywhere. He is really knowledgable about politics. I'd definitely recommend taking this class, especially if you're just getting into politics, he explains everything very clearly. He doesn't have a moodle so you have to show up to every class

Terry is so funny, he is always swinging his body around and giggling during lectures. Very fair grader, tests are easy as long as you have copied all the notes down. The papers have interesting topics and he teaches without bias. I learned so much from this class, very clear teaching style.

Terry is great at political science, his lectures were very informative and interesting. If you do what he asks on his papers, you will do well on them. His tests are easy as long as you have copied down all of the powerpoint notes, he doesn't have Moodle, so make sure you attend every class. He keeps you entertained with his hand gestures.

Awesome prof. Very engaging, great at arguing for any position and fair with grades and expectations. Moves around and gestures a lot. He's very good at painting a big picture. Goes off on interesting tangents, but always makes sure to bring it back to the main point. Very funny.

Terry is honestly the best prof at this terrible university. He is super fun and engaging. He makes all his lectures super interesting, and is always available outside of class to help. He also gives very helpful feedback, and is just a funny dude. Super laid back, and his assignments are a breeze. Honestly a gem.

Ive had Terry three times now and he's a great prof. Interesting lectures, easy marker, and overall great guy. He's flexible with due dates and is very easy going. Take him if you can !

Ive had Terry many times throughout my schooling at TRU and he is one of the best. Hes quite possibly the best marker & has such a passion for the material in the class. The books you read are enjoyable and not too hefty either. Terry is truly one of the best at TRU & you will enjoy his classes. Any class he offers is amazing, trust me

Terry is one of the best profs I have had. He is super nice and gives awesome lectures. He clearly wants everyone to succeed in his class, and is an easier grader too. I have already registered to take another class with him. Highly recommend.

Was good with giving an extension. Papers are not difficult (add a little personality for better grade), also on interesting and relevant topics. Also interesting lectures, dont miss though cause his notes are just not the same. He is passionate and is open to class conversation. Good textbook too. Learned a lot and thoroughly enjoyed class.

I was never interested in politics prior to taking this class. Terry is such a fantastic prof who made learning exciting and I thoroughly enjoyed going to every lecture. Possibly my favorite prof I've ever had. Would absolutely recommend taking a class with him if you can.

He is one of the professors I will remember for the rest of my life. His passion in his teaching, kindness, and engagement in class what makes me want to keep taking more classes with him. As long as you show an understanding in his work, give examples, and attend his classes - you'll easily pass.
