She is a very good artist but not a teacher! She can't give you a straight answer on any questions that you ask her. She also doesn't teach anything! Basically she just says "draw" and that's about all the help you get. The class is a waste of time.
Well at first glance she comes off as a sweet Mormon house wife; until the two week nice period runs out and she expects you to draw like a photorealist--despite your personal major. I think she needs to loosen up and realise that she's a foundations professor, not a heart surgeon.
she doesnt teach anything

She's really nice, but I learned nothing :( Easy class, but she wants you to love landscape pictures.
Very nice lady. very interesting discussions. one day we spent all day talking about drugs and hippies. Not a lot learned in this class, but she can be very helpful if you let her be. rather timid person.. so if you need help ASK or she definitely will not. but over all, if you want an easy class... take this one!
I think that if i spent the time drawing on my own i would have learned the same or more. Lots of still lives and some landscapes. Check the imagination at the door.
She is a very timid and quiet woman, but she is helpful and kind. Sometimes she is a little unclear, but its easy to talk to her. She gives lots of examples of what she expects from projects, and she has given lots of extra help sessions. It's an easy class if you make the effort.
I don't care what any of you say!! I took her last quarter and she was awesome, very easy, but I still learned alot
She is super easy, and she is kind. It's true that u won't learn a lot but u will pass the class if u don't absence that much.
I like her alot. yeah she's pretty quiet but she's really nice. we spend most of our time in class working on whatever project ans she lets you do your own thing, she usually asks if anyone needs help and is happy to help. pretty easy, i really like the projects she assigns
I agree that she is very timid and sweet person, and she will help you out if you ask her. She does help you with the materials as well. My only complaint is even though I tried really hard she's a tough grader because she grades your drawing based on everyone elses not self improvement. & for a drawing 2 class there were too many still lives!!!
I love her! She comes of kind of quiet, but seriously, she's so much fun. She loves pandora and any kind of music playing. She'll explain things 50 times until you absolutely get it. Also, she respects you A LOT if she she's you there outside of class. She let me out of the final because I was spending so much time on another drawing. Take her!
She is such a sweet lady, quiet, but sweet. You do have to do work, but that goes for any class. The only thing she expects is good craftsmanship, and that every project is better than your last. I really enjoyed the class.
Really nice person, really laid back teacher. Her assignments are interesting and critiques are short and sweet. Don't bother buying the text book she requires, you won't need to use it. In her class your initial skill level won't matter as long as you put forth an honest effort. I loved this class.
She was a very calm teacher and always does her best to help you to understand the project and is very accepting of different takes on the same project. We worked in either acryla, watercolor pencil or colored pencil. she lets you choose. Great projects!
Very quiet and easy-going. She was helpful to me and her class was not overwhelming. To get good grades you have to put in the effort and time. She also grades on improvement and effort. She doesnt talk much, most of class time is studio time. Overall I learned about basic principles of drawing from observation, 2d space, and shading.
She's sweet and helpful and the projects are pretty good for a color theory class. I only wish the critiques weren't such a joke.
Don't ever listen to the comments that are outdated. she may be a person who likes still lives and landscapes but that's what DRAW II is all about; observation. so take this class, put ur effort on your drawings and ull get urself a decent grade. i can guarantee that ur drawing skills can improve
She is a very particular teacher. She doesn't really give you enough time to complete your assignments that she has very high expectations for. Listen to her suggestions which are always boring because she will stick with that and bring it up in critique.
Lovely professor. It is a lot of work, but all color theory classes are. She appreciates all sorts of different artistic styles. She, as most SCAD professors, appreciates craftsmanship. Sweet lady. Helps everyone throughout the class.
Prof. Moeller was very a great professor. She encouraged me to explore my own designs, with her guidance. The class was fun, and I was always excited about the next project. The projects were fun and challenging. The class was not easy, but fun. Moeller was always helpful with suggestions, and easily available for office hours. Highly recommended!
Professor Moeller's class was somewhat challenging, but I am not the greatest at drawing. She was always kind and understanding if you had to miss a class. She always gave opportunities for extra help sessions and grades you by your personal abilities. I learned a lot in her and class and definitely improved my drawing skills.
I went to every class and went to the extra help she had and every time that I asked for an opinion and every time she would not say the same thing. One time she hated something that she told me I should do. I would not take a class with her if you have a chance.
Probably my favorite teacher at SCAD. I learned so much in her class. She made me realize that I was actually a good artist. I loved all of her assignments and worked pretty hard because I genuinely enjoyed working on them. She's quiet and sweet. The only bad part is that she doesn't allow listing to your iPod in class.
Terry Moeller is the best professor I've had at SCAD so far. She's a very kind and an encouraging teacher, passionate about her students and offers painting demos and input on your work. The preliminary studies and painting the final presentation can be quite a bit to do in two weeks but at times, a lot of fun.
Professor Moeller is such a kindhearted woman. I enjoyed her especially as an artist and human being. My only frustration would be that she is so nice, that sometimes it comes off as being a little passive-aggressive. Sometimes I found myself not understanding what she was asking me to do. She holds a lot of extra help sessions though!
She seems like a lovely lady and seems really nice but she doesn't know how to teach. Her demos take forever and don't actually teach you anything. She has no room for creativity and is extremely picky with projects even though she doesn't make herself clear with what she wanted in the first place as well. I wouldn't ever take her again.
Awesome professor! Had her for Color Theory in Winter 2013. Very organized class, clear about what she wants for each project, eager to help you with any questions you may have. I definitely recommend you take her class!
She just doesn't teach. I didn't learn a single thing in her color theory class, which was more important to me than just getting the A. She comes off passive aggressive sometimes - I still have no idea if she liked me or not. In general her class was useless and her grading was unclear.
She is a not an easy teacher by any means but she is very helpful. She gives helpful feedback and crystal clear directions. The work load is just very hard but any color theory class here at scad is going to be hard. What i like was that we made portfolio pieces in her class and not stupid color swatches. I recommend her for hard workers.
Crystal clear with directions to projects and puts all presentations and project sheets on blackboard. Lets you choose almost anything as a subject matter for 4 out of the 5 projects which makes the class much more enjoyable. Almost all classes are studio so you have plenty of time to finish, you just have to work hard.
Prof. Moeller is great. She is very clear about what she wants for each assignment and as long as you really try, you will most likely do very well. She gives lots of time in class to work and goes around to each person, telling you exactly what you can do to improve your project. Pretty much the only way you can do poorly is to not do anything.
Professor Moeller is hard to read at first. I wasn't sure what to expect. But, once you get going in this class it's not bad. Overall I had a good experience. She's easy to talk to. Big thing to watch out for is her assignment sheets, read them as if they were a check list! You don't want to miss out on points.
Great prof! Really understanding, she seems all over the place at first but she's very clear about what she wants.
This class was pitiful. She's the first teacher I've ever hated. I would NEVER take a class with her again.
This class was very disappointing... Terry is extremely passive-aggressive, degrading, and quite militant towards her students to the point where it was distracting. I love studying color relationships but I seriously learned nothing from this class. I would never take her again.
I learned a lot in this class, but sometimes what she was looking for in a project was unclear. Feedback can be unclear. She gives out packets for each project with very detailed instructions, but I was never quite sure of the grade I would get. We could use our own style, but she tends to prefer traditional art techniques. Lots of painting.
Terry is a really difficult professor. Her own work is absolutely breathe taking, and I feel that she expects that same from you. Her class requires expensive supplies (3060 half stick rembrandt pastels, mi-touch paper, faber pencilpastel set, etc.) and her projects are very boring. There are no tests or books. Only eight projects per quarter.
The class was well organized. Each project consists of two drawings: a large and small drawing. For the first projects the large drawings are still lifes from achromatic, monochromatic, and full color. The small drawings are architectural landscape drawings done outside of class. The final project is of large and small landscape drawings. No exams
Loved her so much I'm taking her for 3D. She gives great feedback always, gives you ex credit opportunities, and is always very organized. Demos aren't too long and she really cares about each student and wants you to do your best. I'm not a great drawer and she was the best for me. Make sure you go to class so she can give you tips to improve
I took Drawing 2 with Terry, and it was a really enjoyable class. She assigns each of the drawings to be worth either 17% or 8% of your grade, depending on the size. I spent a fair amount of money on the materials she requested, but it was really fun to learn to use pastels, & through her assignments, I really grew in my ability. I loved her class.
Took her before for draw 2 and took her again for 3D. She's awesome and I really love her. Always gives great feedback and cares to speak to everyone individually. I wouldn't say the class is easy, but it is pretty fun. There are 4 evenly spaced projects.
She is awful at explaining techniques and never gives clear instructions in class. She just expects us to understand right away and even in extra help sessions she barely offers constructive feedback. Her feedback is usually only on if something is wrong and she never explains the possible ways to fix the problem.
I was taking this class and it was super difficult!! I had to drop it! I felt like I wasn't being taught! I was just being told draw this, do that, but with no teaching behind it! LOTS OF BUSY WORK. This class was pointless and I didn't need it for my major. I do not come from an art background and this just was not the class or teacher for me.
Terry Moeller is a very good drawing instructor, she has worked in the industry for a very long time and you can tell she knows what she is talking about. She is always willing to demo any techniques you may not be familiar with. She always offers help and advice bluntly yet not rude at all.
She's a very sweet woman. Attending class as much as possible to take advantage of the in class work time and her feedback is best. She circles the room a few times each period. Most never even open the textbook but if she asks say you read the assignments or she gets testy. The in class critiques are helpful if benign, and she doesnt mind phones
She doesn't actually teach the class, she just assigns the work and rarely helps or shows how to use the mediums. Plus she has you buy $160 pastels to use on practically sandpaper. I do not recommend her class or her as a professor. Shes a nice lady, but she just doesn't actually teach the class anything.
This professor is wonderful. Had her for 3D design and would recommend her. But be caustious of the process work, it can screw you over if she doesn't think you put enough time into it. It's a lot of work.
She was super helpful when it came to struggling on a project. She does extra help sessions all the time, will personally work with you in class if you're stuck. A very fair grader, but details do matter.
IF YOU ARE NOT STRONG WITH ILLUSTRATION OR DESIGN, DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. As a dramatic writing major, I don't have a background in illustration, I don't know what atmospheric perspective is, etc. This was MISERABLE because she expects all her students to be incredible, no matter the major. If you're good at design, go for it.
Moeller is such a sweet lady!! She has good feedback and is always willing to help. Her class required a bit of process work, and if you didn't do what was required your grade could hurt- don't let that discourage you from her class though. Other than that she is a fair grader and give lots of extra credit opportunities! Recommend!
This professor is just okay in my opinion, I didn't hate the class and I didn't love it. You have to do a lot of studies, which I'm personally not used to and don't see the point of but other than that it's fairly easy to get a good grade.
She is an extremely nice women, and goes out of her way to help if a student is struggling. Ive taken two classes with her ( design 100 , drawing 2) and planning on taking 3D with her. Every class is run the same: 4-5 projects per semester with 5 studies per project. Really forces u to hone your skills. Plus she brings cookies to class sometimes
The quarter started out fine, but now at the end, she's mean with her feedback. She's told several students to redo projects two days from the final class. The class is 100% studio time every class, and there are only 4 projects with studies and an accompanying master study. Feedback isn't always helpful, but she's generally a sweet lady.
This professor was amazing! She really cares about her students and the work they produce. If you don't try, you won't get a good grade. The studies are really helpful for you to start your final. I loved Moeller! Definitely take her!!!
Prefers traditional work (loves the "old masters") and is not very clear with some of her critiques. Can be very boring at times. Homework can take FOREVER to do (esp color swatches) and the color wheel project.
Professor Moeller is a genuine and kind teacher who loves seeing her students personalities in their work. She allows for creative expression and enjoys students trying to create things out of the box. She does prefer abstract/non-objective pieces but I enjoy that kind of art. All of your grades are from projects and planning.
One of my favorite professors. She gives fantastic feedback and is very helpful with all the class time she gives. Be sure to follow her criteria as process work is just as important as the projects! Her projects are fun and challenging to everyone (in a good way). She super friendly and just wants to help everyone do their best!
Found Moeller to be a pretty good professor. She grades very specifically to the rubric-as in, even if she thinks your project is outstanding otherwise, if it doesn't follow the rubric well, it's gonna get a C at best, so FOLLOW IT TO A T. She's quite nice, though always hesitant to give critique; you really have to pressure her to get feedback.
I loved Prof Moeller's class. I feel like sometimes her demos were vague, she came around & individually helped me very often. Her individual help is extremely beneficial & my drawing skills improved so much in this class. She is very clear on what she asks for and is one of the nicest, most caring profs I have ever had! Would easily take again!!!!
Absolutely loved Professor Moeller! Total sweetheart and was super kind and helpful, kind of goofy. Good feedback in a way that was respectful and did not make you feel like a total idiot. A fairly easy class if you do the work and ask her for help if you're not sure about what you're doing. I would love to take her again! Dont buy book, wont use.
Prof. Moeller is very kind if she likes you, however she can be blunt and unforgiving and will tell you right away if there's something wrong with your work. Multiple times I started projects and felt as though she was waiting for me to fail or was skeptical.
Professor Moeller will make you change your project when its almost done (or done already) if she doesn't like it, which is incredibly frustrating. I felt like no matter how hard I tried with certain projects I couldn't please her.
Moeller is pretty nice and she always made sure to go around the classroom to ask each student if their project was coming along fine. She allowed digital work for most projects (thankfully), but it's pretty clear that she prefers traditional work based on how she graded. LOTS of process work. Follow the rubrics to a T. Try not to skip class.
I wouldn't say Professor Moeller is a bad teacher by any means. After all, I did choose to take her again after being satisfied with my first class with her. She is a very kind and respectful woman. Definitely give yourself ample time to work on projects featuring mediums you are unfamiliar with, and follow the rubrics. Process work is heavy!
Terry Moeller is a really solid choice. While the class itself is not very difficult, It takes lots of communication to understand exactly what she is looking for. She can be a tough grader, but the class is an easy A for those who follow the rubric and are willing to listen to her feedback. She is very sweet and caring and is always up to chat!
Terry is a sweet lady. Her projects are great because they give you creative liberty. But, she grades so tough and if you don't follow the rubric to a T, then tough luck. There is so much process work involved. I tried my best on every project and followed the rubric, but still got Bs on most of them. Overall, shes a great lady but tough grader.
Professor Moeller is amazing! She makes all her students feel validated with their ideas and she makes sure to go the extra mile helping them. Lots of process work, but it really does pay off. Very specific feedback and always willing to demo/help when you need it. I learned so much in her class. Such a nice lady!
Her class was really great, it was a quieter class which sometimes made it hard to focus for long periods of time, but you will like it if that is your type of class! Process work is really important and will hurt your grade if you don't complete what the rubric asks for. She's the sweetest and is clear in her instructions. :)
I really like Terry. She's a sweet lady. She doesn't give a lot of homework at all. And she gives you so much time on projects. I barely showed up to class, but I did the work and got the attendance. I would 100% take her again. the only thing that I didn't like about terry was that if she didn't like your concept she would tell you to redo it.
A very good professor. I would highly recommend her, she is nice and provides excellent feedback and suggestions. She notices when you work hard, especially when I sent questions at 3 am. Very clear rubrics and I would 10000/10 recommend.
Professor will randomly decide whether she likes things or not. May even ask you to start your project over two days before the due date. She called herself a professional and was constantly trying to put me down. Caused me extreme mental stress and multiple mental breakdowns.
Terry is one of the more frustrating professors I've encountered at SCAD. There were projects where I'd ask for feedback and she'd only tell me to do minor fixes. Then I'd show her it to get approval and she'd give me more small fixes. I remember doing that about 7 times and barely managed to get Cs. Lady will never tell you everything at once.
Although Professor Moeller is a generally kind person, I would not suggest taking her class. If you aren't an expert painter before the class begins, you're likely to get a B. She gives a lot of feedback which is nice but never seems to be fully satisfied if your work is not her taste.
Please only take her if you are experienced in painting! If not she will judge and grade harshly against you. I witnessed her tell a student she should drop the class only because the student had a broken leg. She told me that Im not gonna make it in this class if I cant show I have talent. I cried multiple times to the point where I had to drop.
She is very nice and really wants to help, but occasionally will give advice when you are almost done with the project and thats a little anoying.
I appreciate how many examples she shows for each project, it makes it clearer for me because the way she talks makes everything sound passive and unclear. Her feedback is not feedback, she'll bring you up to her desk and show the same examples she shows every day. Make sure you talk to her a lot throughout the projects so she sees the work you do.
Prof. Moeller provides plenty of project examples and one-on-one advice, and she's one of the few professors I had who made sure to give us as many studio days as possible. Critique days are very stress-free since she'll usually divide us up into small groups instead of having us present to the whole class. (PS: Don't buy the textbook.)
Overall the class is easy to manage if you've got any kind of time management skills. She gives demos and offers one on one/small group demos upon request. She offers good critiques that are meant to help you, and she never sounds like she's ripping your work to shreds. Five projects, the last three in watercolors.
Now, Terry Moeller is a great person and a good professor, but if you are not good with wet media/are a first-time watercolor user please avoid her class. You are given one graphite assignment and the rest are wet media (1 ink wash and 3 watercolor). I was expecting much different when I entered a Drawing 2 class, but it is all watercolor.
Gives a lot of freedom w/ assignments, like medium, concept, etc. TONS of opportunities for one-on-one feedback—you can always talk to her about your work, critique, or grade. Very laid back, honest, & friendly. Textbook required but the reading wasn’t really necessary. Good demos that are personalized for the class/individuals needs.
Be prepared to paint! If you aren't a painter then be prepared for not a great grade. She isn't a super tough grader but can be if you don't have a lot of painting experience. This is a painting class. I don't think I learned anything new about color theory - just paint.
Terry is the best professor I've had at SCAD so far. She's caring and always willing to help every student by offering them demos. I don't understand why everyone is complaining about the wet media assignments, I got 100 on every assignment although I don't have a lot of experience in wet media. Thanks to her I learned so much in a very short time.
TERRY IS MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE! Such a sweet lady, and is willing to help her students anytime! Even if you are not experienced with wet media, you will be able to learn a lot from her, as well as use colored pencils over your wet media to clean it up and detail it. Truly the kindest prof I have ever had, you will not regret taking her class.
This professor is nice and caring. Her lectures and demos are not as helpful and I have experienced from other professors. She does not give much feedback on graded work or how you can improve your grade (from my personal experience).
Great class! 3/4 Projects for this class were painting, so painting experience helps. Not the most informative class for color theory, but covered the basics. Very clear grading criteria with somewhat high expectations. Loved that she is willing to help any student and gives demos to anyone who asks. She pushes you to do the best you can.
She clearly prefers students to paint, though she does allow digital/other mediums later in the course. Her feedback is some of the worst I have ever experienced. It has never been explicitly helpful or answered any questions. Her examples are almost always Don Bluth, no diversity.
If you talk to Terry during studio time and show an interest in improving, you will get by with a decent grade. However, she assigns a ton of homework and doesn't provide much guidance with it. She constantly changes her mind about whether or not she likes your work. Supplies are outrageously expensive (buy the paints at Starlandia, you're welcome)
Professor Moeller is very sweet and gives good feedback, but all we do is projects and not the science or psychology behind color. And as soon as you finish one project, you're starting the next so it felt like an endless cycle. 3 of the 4 projects are painted, so only take her if you are skilled at it, but the last project you can use any medium.
Absolutely terrible. Disingenuous, strongly favors painters at the expense of any and everything else. Inconsistent with instructions and feedback, be very prepared to redo projects upwards of three to four times. Completely monopolizes your time. If you're not a 2D art major, save your sanity and time. Take almost anyone else instead.
Very nice but didn't enjoy the class that much. You spend the majority of time on process work that took up tons of time (I never procrastinated). Grades hard on process work but easier on the final design. almost full creativity freedom. lots of studio time, no textbook required.
She assigned 3 projects that we were only allowed to use paint, it was so awful. I felt like I was doing the same project over and over. She is a sweet lady but I feel i didnt learn what I was suppose to (aka colors).
nice lady, talks to every student at least once everyday which can be annoying. paint only requirement's horrible if you're not used to it, but gives fair grading. some of the stuff in the kit is unnecessary unless you use paint often, and do not buy the textbook as she doesn't even bring it up in class. plenty of group critiques.
Prof. Moeller is a kind woman who cares deeply about art. I do think 5 projects was one too many for the time we had. She is a tough, but fair grader. I had a harder time since I hadn't taken art classes before college, and my major doesn't include much drawing. Plus, most of the projects were watercolor based instead of traditional graphite.
Professor Moeller is great! She gives good feedback to students and she always makes sure students understand the assignment. In color theory, we got to choose the subject matter of every project, which made the class very enjoyable and I looked forward to working. She does want to see lots of effort from students, and grades with that in mind.
Her teaching style was very hands-off. She just gave us projects and examples and stopped there. Grading criteria was very nitpicking. Offered little help to students who were struggling.
My main issue with her is that she didn't provide me much feedback as to why she took off points, and wouldn't elaborate when I asked her for specifics so that I could understand what I did wrong. Also was not very willing to work with me when I had an emergency come up, but made up for it in the end & worked with me to get me up to a passing grade
Terry Moeller is a very sweet woman, but she assigns a lot of work. It often felt like the studies held more weight than the actual projects. She grades harshly and gives little reasoning why. When asked what I could have done better on one of my projects she told me that it was "very good, but could have been excellent" and she then gave me a 85.
Not bad. She gives a lot of class time to work. Each assignment takes about 2 weeks, 1 for a study and the next for the project. She'll go around and give feedback, you can also ask her for more feedback. Mostly uses watercolor, which was not my preference. Her grading is a little tough considering a lot of students are not familiar with the medium
The work in this class is outrageously time consuming. For an introduction foundations class she expects way too much of students. She has very strict limits on projects and is a harsh grader
She was pretty okay. It wasn't my favorite because most of the projects were in watercolor, I would've preferred charcoal/graphite/pastel. She provides a lot of student examples of projects. When you ask for it, she can give decent feedback. She is kinda difficult in terms of grading considering most students aren't well versed in water mediums.
Generally unremarkable. Not a miserable class experience, you get to be creative with assignments, but I didn't learn anything new. Has high expectations and can be tough on grading without much explanation/feedback. One of those classes where you kinda have to already be skilled to succeed. But she's polite and material demos are comprehensive.
Professor Moeller is a good person, but her instruction could be better. She's a professor who you should DEFINITELY implement in-progress feedback from. If she tells you something could be improved, and it's not improved in the final, you'll lose points. EVEN if she just casually mentions it, which she does a lot, do it, even if you don't agree.
A LOT OF HOMEWORK, you will do a lot of assignments before the final one. Very realism heavy work, good feedback and simple. Is nice and understanding. Overall good class.
She's a very sweet woman, but when you ask what she thinks of your idea she declines a lot of them with no explanation or no basis on the rubric. She mostly just wants you to do what she likes. She's nice to talk to but her criticism is vague and typically not helpful. She grades very harshly even when I've never worked with gauche before.
She was so sweet and I loved taking her class- she would give homework and let you work on it in class with her help and she was so good at her job. I took her for two classes and one I totally failed and withdrew and it was honestly entirely my fault! She is the sweetest lady and I loved being in her class!
Moeller's class is a lot of work, but she provides good feedback. The watercolor-heavy projects were challenging, but apps like unstuck study helped with study prep. She's tough on grading, but engaged if you ask for more guidance.
Very knowledgeable. Good projects to practice skills in the curriculum. Mix of Digital and Physical but majority Physical (Acrylic Gouache) A lot of creative liberties in design. Free rein on the media for the final project, it was fun to see other students' works for that. Not very clear in grading and answering questions which can be frustrating.
Professor Moeller is kind, but her Drawing II class is just watercolor painting with no lectures or interactive lessons. If you enjoy working independently with headphones on, you might like it. However, she's a very tough grader, offers no extra credit, and seems to favor students already skilled in painting while providing no support.
Worst professor I've had so far at SCAD. Grading is subjective to her opinions as a professional, nobody in my class got above a B, average grade was C or lower. Feedback and critique is useless, and would punish students for her own forgetfulness. Standards were insanely high for a foundations class. You will gain nothing from her, change profs.
Nice teacher. The workload wasn't too much but it was still plenty to keep you busy. I did butcher my first assignment a little bit but once I talked to her and knew what she was looking for it was an easy A on everything after. If you ask for help she will try her best to help you and you can tell she wants you to succeed.
I chose to have Moeller for multiple classes, she's great. I came to SCAD for a challenge, I do not want to pay for throw away credits. You need to talk to her and be interested in class, you can't be evasive. She is always wanting to help students and goes out of her way to do so. If you want to improve your skills, take her class.
Learned nothing so far, she just tells u to do stuff
She does not understand what a foundations class is.
DO NOT TAKE IF YOU ARE ANYTHING BUT A DRAWING/PAINTING/ART BASED MAJOR. EVEN THOUGH SHE DOES FOUNDATION CLASSES, SHE IS NOT UNDERSTANDING AT ALL IF YOU HAVE NO EXPERIENCE IN STUFF LIKE PAINTING OR DRAWING AND WILL STILL GRADE YOU AS IF YOU ARE A PROFESSIONAL. if you are a painting major or have practice in painting, you'll be just fine
You'll definitely have a better experience if you have a painting/vis arts background. Which I had, but I know others had some trouble acclimating to her standards. She's very sweet, and I liked the amount of creative freedom given for assignments. Her assignments are very well explained. Be warned though, she's comically bad at technology.
