Great guy, perfect balance between comedy and study. He will explain the application of math in a problem in 35 ways until you get it, patiently, kindly, and like it is the most important thing he has to do today.

I wasn't looking forward to learning Anatomy/Physiology; but Pardee really makes the subject matter interesting and fun. He truly loves teaching and it's obvious. I wish there were more professors like him.

WONDERFULL!!!! not just a good instructor a good person this class is not an easy A but its possible this instructor will help you pass in ANY way he can he will explain the same thing 20 time or untill you understand and he makes himself avaliable ALMOST 24/7 to his students

I LOVE Prof. Pardee! This is a tough subject and he made it understandable. It's the hardest A I've ever had to work for, and worth every hour I put into it. If you want to learn, he'll make sure that you do! Always available, always good humored! A teacher to remember forever!!! He expects excellence and helps you to achieve it.

Very hard subject. He goes fast, but will help you as much as you'll let him. He gives extra credit, but it's very long. Make sure you do test corrections-they help your grade and it's basically studying. ?s on tests are put word for word on the final. Make sure you study a lot before tests, b/c ?s on tests can be long and confusing. I got a B.

You dont know how good you got it with him until your with another teacher. he may seem hard at the time, but i promise hes there to help. and trust me, he is ALWAYS willing to help. never seen someone so dedicated to his students and so well knowledged about his subjects. He is great!

Terry Pardee is extreeeeemely smart and wise in his profession. He is dedicated of each of his students and is very helpful. Very difficult course but nothings impossible! STICK IT OUT*

Greatest prof. I have ever had! I took him for my anatomy for fall05 and decided to have him again for physio. for spring06, These are hard subj. but Pardee is helpful in all of the stuff here. If you are dedcated to learn choose Pardee, you will learn not regret the fact that you choose this guy... I LOVE THIS PROF!!!

Tough subject, test are difficult. Prof. Pardee is more than fair with test corrections and extra credit. With a little effort you can do well in the class.

Mr. pardee is a great teacher, he is very helpful and gives his students plenty of chances to earn a good grade, so it's really up to the student on how bad you want that A, because the opportunity is there, i enjoyed his class and would feel privileged to be graced w/ his pressence in the future

You will learn this subject if you put in the effort. Pardee is always willing to help and clarify any questions. Not an easy A but Pardee wants you to get an A and wants you to succeed. I feel prepared to enter the medical field now that I have taken his class.

hard class but there a lot of opportunitys for extra credit 10 points for every test and making up questions you get wrong. You are able to contact him any day of the week cause he cares. It is possible to get an A in the class but be prepared to study. I would take this teacher again he is amazing.

Great professor, loves to tell jokes and always incites laughter from the students. Lab is kind of a bore with most of that time going to private studying, but he always makes himself available and is there to help you. Loved him, and will be taking him again next semester, very tough subjects though.

Terry Pardee is one of the best professors I have ever had... If you are planning a career in the medical fields I highly recommend you take his anatomy and physiology class (and at the same time if you can handle it)

take ANAT anf PHYSIOLOGY together. the same material covered on both, except with more detail on physiology. If you study for Phy you'll be prepared for both. study the notes from website. Lab is only to review info and practice, you can jam after he takes roll call. Easy to pass class with C

Extremely funny teacher, make the hard subject much interesting. Recommend take both ANAT and physiology at same time, easier to understand both. One of the best teacher I ever had. PS: give a lot of extra credit.

I loved his course. Although I am not pursuing a career in the medical field Pardee made the course relevant to someone who just wants to know about how their body works. If you want to pass you have to work, but he makes it easy with extra credit

Professor Pardee is a great professor! You can definitely get frustrated at times, but study hard and you can get an A in both anatomy and his physiology course. Highly recommend taking them at the same time!

He is very helpful.One of the few teachers i will actually miss. He has study group , go to them the help a lot. He is one of the few teachers out there that wants you to do well

He is amazing he makes the class fun...i highly recommend taking anatomy and physiology together because he talks about the same sections in both classes so it make sit easier to learn...it was easy to get an a in the class just by going and taking good notes in lecture

This class was extremely difficult, as it should have been, as most students here are planning to go into the medical field. Prof. Pardee is always available to give extra help, and gives ample extra credit opportunities. Letters to Grandma can be sent to ANYONE, as he makes very clear. It's just a title. An A is very attainable if you work hard.

Amazing professor, understandably the hardest content but if you can visualize the content it?s much easier. Didn?t really study for test, i.e. B+, but has inspired myself to become more. If you learn by visuals and association the class will be easy, else wise it will be difficult. I never did extra credit, but very helpful if needed. Recommend.

He's super cool and fun. He makes lecture interesting with his little jokes and silly stories.

He knows his subject very well. Its a hard class but its pretty interesting. If ur shooting for an A my suggestion: do all the extra credit given. Those points will accumulate and it will really help ur grade up. The class gets harder so i suggest you do well on the first exams. But pardee is a good teacher and ull learn a lot from this class

Mr.Pardee is a picky professor that stays on specific guideline but he has reasons behind that. Besides that, he is a professor with a big heart and that means the most. He's funny, entertaining, and kind. The class itself is very difficult and commitment is vital. I highly recommend Mr.Pardee because he's one of the best professors I ever took.

By far the BEST Anatomy/physiology teacher you will encounter. He is a genius and he LOVES his students. He is hilarious and he makes class incredibly interesting. I recommend him to all that need to take H.A and H.P. He is incredibly available for help and will not make you feel dumb, EVER! Take Terry Pardee-you will NOT regret it!

Prof. Pardee is AWSOME! He's funny & definatly knows what he's talking about. Gives extra credit opportunites, test corrections, study sessions, and is always available for help. Study, focus, attend/record lecture, and take advantage of your time in lab! We're adults and in college, be responsible for yourself and you'll be just fine.

Pardee is not only a great teacher, but a loving grandfather as well. He is funny, helpful, and enthusiastic. Anat and physio are HARD subjects, but Pardee allows opportunities for everyone to succeed. One of my favorite professors by far.

Probably one of the best i've ever had. I got an A in the class just from going to lecture and doing the test corrections. PAY ATTENTION IN CLASS. Hardly ever used the book but if you need it to study then you should get it. And because of him, i cant see or hear the word "space" without thinking of him(You'll see what i mean if you take the class)

Terry is so knowledgeable about the human body, it's absolutely amazing. Tough class but if you do all the letters to Grandma, the test corrections and put in your time studying, you'll be fine. Lots of memorization in Anatomy.

This is a HARD class. You need to give yourself every advantage. Don't miss a day, take good notes, record lectures, do test corrections, elo's, letters to grandma (you'll see), but most of all, make sure you take this teacher. #1.

You need to EARN your grade in this class. It is difficult... A LOT of memorization. But he made it fun and easy. Go to all the study sessions for lab, do ALL the ELO's and LTG & u will no doubt pass the class. Also, RECORD the lectures! His lecture tests are based on what he lectures in class.If I can get an A, so can you. SPACE...u'll get it. ha

Best teacher at Ventura College. This professor is there for his student more than any other professor I've had. You will need to spend extra time in the lab studying the models, but if you do this you will pass. Recording his lectures is a good idea. Anatomy v01

Pardee is amazing and goes way out of his way to make sure every student understands and has the opportunity to get an A. Students who don't do well in his class have no excuse because he gives so much opportunity to succeed that you have to do nothing. If I was a professor, I would not even do half of what he does for his students.

An absolute treasure to find at the jr college level or any college for that matter. Super hilarious. Had for Anat. & Physio. He draws the organ systems, uses slides & thoroughly explains concepts. Cares so much about his students & offers every opportunity to succeed. Requires hard work but you learn so much! Take good notes - all I studied.

Professor Pardee is one of the best teachers I have EVER had. He devotes so much time to his students and is extremely knowledgeable about pretty much everything. His biggest concern is that you learn something and he definitely makes sure you do. You won't regret taking him if you really want to learn.

Hands down BEST professor I've EVER had, and that's saying after I went to a UC prior to his course. He's extermely engaging and hilarious, and puts a lot of effort into his courses. There is no excuse for doing poorly. Go to class, pay attention, and study. If you put the effort into the course, and do the ample extra credit, you'll be fine.

By far the most genius lecturer I've ever encountered. He tells hilarious anecdotes in class that relate directly to the material and are very memorable. His interactive nature creates an amazing learning environment.I recommend taking as many courses with Pardee as possible he's my hands down favorite professor, EVER!!

The Best professor I ever had. Do the Extra credit , record him, go to class. And study than you wont have to take the final if you have 97% before final. It's easily doable. 2 Lecture test are take home test. For lab test he already gives you the question so when you go for the lab test you can be prepared.I never used the book, I mostly googled..

Do the extra credit, you'll need it ! Helpful but at times unclear in the lecture. All of his lecture is done by him hand writing the info on the white board which makes it hard to follow. Reading the book helps a ton! overall a good guy teaching a hard class.

Great teacher! Always willing to help (office hours & tutoring sessions). Material is very difficult record lectures, bring in different color pens to write lecture notes. You do need a book but he has books for lend. Doesn't matter the edition as long as it's recent. Doesn't always follow syllabus will work at student speed.

He is an amazing teacher!!! If you are taking Anatomy and Physiology at the same time take him for both! I have been extremely lucky with the professors at VC, but PARDEE made an absolute difference! He gave a true meaning of the word "instructor." Do all your ELOs....it is very important. Prof. Pardee will help with any confusion/questions you may have. Physio and Anatomy are not easy classes but if you work hard, it will all work out! :)

Prof. Pardee is extremely smart with a lot of knowledge but its almost impossible to have clear notes in his class due to the way he teaches. He just teaches the stuff he likes and leaves it to you to study all the stuff he doesn't want to teach you. He is strict on how he wants everything turned in and get ready to loose points if its not perfect

Professor Pardee is a tough teacher but he is also willing to go above and beyond to help students out. Regardless if it's help with an assignment or just going over something in class one more time. He is funny and he is so genuine when it comes to wanting the best for his students I would recommend him for not only physiology but for also anatomy

Terry is the best teacher ever! I was dreading this class and he made it way easier than i thought it would be. He does diagrams and posts what you should know for the test. He lets you do corrects and lots of extra credit opportunities. I wish he were teaching Micro :( really loved his class

Pardee is an extremely devoted, careful, honourable, demanding, and humorous instructor. His methods demand a lot from his students because he recognizes the value of what he is teaching and the importance of the material for his students' future studies and work. You will work hard, and learn more than you thought possible. Fabulous teacher!!

Pardee is so cute! he cares about his students so much and is an absolute genius. you learn a lot of material, the book really isn't needed but you need to attend class to get lecture notes! so many extra credit opportunities, do most of them and he will help you out if your grade comes up a little short. genuinely wants to help you learn

This teacher loves what he does;He takes pride in teaching and it shows.This class is a hard class, but pardee will walk with you every step of the way. Dr. Pardee is hands down the best professor at VC. He may not be clear at times, but his genuine love for teaching far surpasses any other instructor I've ever had. He wants everyone of his students to succeed and makes himself available for the ones who really care. Not an easy A, but no easy A's in nursing school either, if that's your direction.

Terry is a great teacher who is always there to help where he can. He gives a good amount of extra credit but definitely makes you work for a good grade. Its an easy A if you have the time to put into the class and studying.

I went into this class terrified because of how hard people make physiology sound. It is a hard subject, but Pardee makes everything crystal clear. DO the ELO's and LTG's and test corrections. If you work for that A, you will get it.

Professor Pardee was able to present the material in an interesting & engaging manner. His class is not a joke, you actually have to take it seriously and make time for lecture & LAB! But thats physiology in general. It is a demanding subject but by the end you will be glad you took it with Pardee. Get a tape recorder! It will help! SPACE!!!!!

Very down to earth professor who is highly respected on campus. knows everything about the human body just iike you would expect. hilarious guy who has a great sense of humor. always willing to help. very passable class, just don't take this class with other classes that will be a challenge. I took 18 units including this class and got pretty hard

It's always a party with Professor Pardee! What an incredible and extremely knowledgeable teacher. He gives very informative lectures and keeps anatomy interesting. His love for students and teaching is very evident in the way that he runs his class. Can't recommend enough!

Paarden is a great professor. Sometimes he is all over the place during lectures (his megan fox jokes lol) but other than that he is great. I had him for lecture and lab pretty easy. 4 exams in lecture and 4 quizzes in lab. 1 powerpoint presentation. Do the extra credit he gives so much of it.

Pardee subbed my Anat class for 5 weeks-the class begged him to stay & finish the semester out. He's incredibly funny. Makes lecture easy to listen to & grasp. He gives you his house number & tells you to call anytime. If you have a question he gets almost excited & loves that your reaching out for help. He'll stay late to help you out. Take him!

Pardee is a great professor who is there for you. Gives you study guides for lecture and lab exams which are very helpful. Lectures are long. He will also give out plenty of extra credit, so do it.

Dr. Pardee has gone overboard to help me with this class. He has made test available when I had to miss class, tutored me ( on his own time) and allows phone calls on weekends to assist students. He is positive and Mostly tells QUASAI funny jokes to keep the class positive even with the heavy subject needed for most of us in nursing. Thank you

Dr. Pardee is great. His lectures are long but he does a great job explaining everything and does a slight review of things we went over the previous class day prior to new material. There's no homework and he offers a lot of extra credit and a lot of opportunities for tutoring/study sessions.

Professor Pardee makes you work for your grade. The lecture + lab is a hard class in general but, if you study the review sheets for the exams, you'll be 100% okay. Professor Pardee is so nice and caring, he wants every student to succeed. He provides many opportunities for you to improve your grade. ELO's are only worth 2 points but they add up!

He's great, taking him right now. He keeps things light, tells some quasi-funny jokes. Study group every Monday with Terry is very helpful. Everyone taking this class should form study groups and study outside of school hours, it's essential in this class. Lots of "extra credit" ELO's offered to augment exam grades. Yea good class.

Terry Pardee is a great instructor. He is clear and concise, uses analogies and other methods to make sure the class understands the concepts being taught. I feel well prepared for the rigors of nurses training due to the preparation Prof. Pardee offered. I will take his Physiology class next!

Professor Pardee is a gifted individual he is so intelligent. Taking physiology there is SO much to learn, but if you asked him questions he will be thorough and try to explain to the best of his abilities. He truly cares about his students! I def recommend to take him! He's the best, but just be ready to study A LOT because physio isn't easy.

Great teacher, physiology is a difficult class but he explains things well. I recommend recording his lectures, he mostly draws diagrams on the board while explaining important concepts. Come to class prepared, do your ELOs as soon as the new unit begins (they will help you study for exams). Fair grader, always willing to answer questions. Funny.

Prof. Pardee is one of the best professors Ive taken he pushes you to your limits. He gives you a plethora of resources to succeed: always available to answer questions, weekly study groups, test corrections, extra credit. Its still a very hard class with lots of outside work but he makes getting an A achievable. He puts the reigns in your hands

Hes a great choice. His practice exams are almost identical to his in class exams. He gives up to 16 points extra credit each exam. Gets really specific in certain topics, rambles a lot, but study the study guide and practice exams and you should do fine. try to take his lab class with him and not another teacher. they aren't synced.

I took Dr. Pardee's class probably 15 years ago, however here I am, 15 years later still thinking of what a fantastic class this was. You need to understand Dr. Pardees sense of humor, and if you really try he will take the time to make sure you understand.

Pardee cares! He will do everything in his power to help you. Physio is a HARD subject so you need to work hard. Book not required but get a copy because it helps a lot! Do ELO's & LTG's, show up, participate, study, study, study, and you will do well. Class was online last half of semester due to COVID - he did a great adapting it. He is a gem!
