His mid-term was easy but he doesn't teach!! You have to teach yourself. You won't be prepared for the final, trust me.
One of the most helpful teachers Seneca has to offer in its Accounting faculty. Very smart and clear, gets to the point and is willing to explain things over if you dont understand. however, do your reading/homework before class and you should do fine!

One of the worst teachers I've ever had. He talks about the same things almost each class. I always feel that waste my time coming to his class. And by the way, he misleads you before exams regarding the material that's you need to know.

Don't even think of going to class without reading the chapter, he can sniff you out. If you don't want to have to do lots of written assignments, choose Terry.
Thing with Pegler, is he enjoys emberassing students and makes them feel stupid - in front of EVERYONE. Must complete readings before showing up, or he'll put you on the spot. Picks on students and makes terrifying little sounds
this is his class, he stresses presentations and communication. If you lack in that skill, then take another program. Terry is very laid back, and knows who puts in effort and who doesnt. Don't take his course lightly
He'll make you work, and think. If you dont like answering, pick him, he'll make you answer, which is honestly, a lot better than sitting around not learning anything. If you dont want to learn anything, pick someone else
I've never seen a teacher quite like Terry. I've never said this about a teacher before, but Terry is quite lazy, I'm being honest here not sugar coating it (like some other responses). I would say he is too laidback, choose someone else.

This guy doesn't understand we are paying to attend college. If you are lazy and lack any skill choose Terry. Terry is very laid back, suck up and be as lazy as him. Seneca really lucked out when they hired Terry.

Peggler is the WORST teacher at Seneca. He's an arrogant, and LAZY, doesn't follow course outlines but what he wants. I think the previous posting is Peggler or the person doesn't clear about learning anything. I really wonnder how he got his CMA.
We always have at least two breaks in class as he is a chain smoker, smoke after class. What difference does it make as he doesn't even know how to each. Is it better to have an easy 'A' or learn something? Like Peggler would say 'Ummp'

Very unprofessional teaching methods, is a scar to the noblest profession that is the sharing of knowledge. Professors like this are the reason Seneca can't offer more BA degrees. Don't worry he is an easy "A"
He seems to be the worst teacherin Seneca College.Only way to get marks is sucking.He teaches only to his favourites.Never answer a question of a student.Very poorly organized lectures.Remaining in his class will probably be a great mistake that any student can ever do.God bless new students!

This teacher is great. He makes the class fun to go to. The people that don't like him are the ones that do poorly and don't participate. He can be a hard marker at times, you just have to do your work.

If there is one thing you can learn from Terry is to be lazy. If you were that lazy in a 'non-union' place you would be fired on the spot. This proves unions are a bad thing. An otherwise bad teacher is being protected by the union!

Treats students as if they are in high school. Does not teach now a post-secondary teacher should. He does he's own thing. I really wonder how he got he's CMA if he is so lazy? But then again the CMA's only have one easy entrance exam (the rest is grup based presentations)

I got an "A+" in his class and did not learn a thing from him. Easy marker, but he does know anything, thinks he's better than everyone else. The only positive thing about having him is that your GPA will increase. Always goes on at least two smoke breaks during class time!

Didn't learn a thing from Pelgar. He is self centred and thinks that is more knowledgable about accounting then some of the top rated accounting profs. You will get at least an "A" or "A+" in his class but will not learn a thing!
He is a well spoken teacher with very good stories that relate to accounting. If you take him he will open your eyes to other possibilities in the accounting field. However dont be fool he is a hard marker and you MUST do your homework inorder to pass this class. Trust me this guy has a world of experience in this field ask him.
He sometimes does not know what he is saying. Often what he teaches is just a waste and does not relate to accounting. Easiest "A" you will ever get in your life. Just sit back, smile and agree with what ever he says. You may not learn a thing in his class, but having Terry will improve your GPA. But be warned you will need to play catch up especially for senior courses.

Excellent Professor, challanges you to do your best and always has marks in on time... He has an excellent teaching style, I think the others are out of their mind to say otherwise.
Best teacher I have had so far. Not only does he get to critically think about the questions posed to you, he gets you interested. I actually read more with him as a teacher and I learned more than I would have with anyone else.

He is also the laziest person I know alive, getting paid to do nothing. His courses include no mark mid-terms, and a final mark based on what he thinks of you.
Pegler is not stupid. He's am experienced, decorated executive of industry leading companies in IT systems, auditing, and fraud investigation. His teaching style IS different, as it only rewards those who do the simple work assigned. If your GPA is above 3.5 going in, you'll probably consider him among the best profs you'll ever have. Open & fun.
You need to know how to BS, everytime he asked you a question, you better provide an answer (any answer) and you will be fine. Or you can take initiative by asking him questions. Once you've gain rcogniziton, an A+ in his course is not impossible.

He as an easy A+, everything is based on no mark mid-terms and a presentation or so. No reports etc. Basically if you can BS you can get an A+. If you need to increase your GPA take him, if you want to learn take anyone else.
Terry is possibly the best teacher you will ever have. He knows his stuff inside and out, and is always willing to help. All you need to do in his class is pay close attention and take notes. This is easy because he is so clear in his explanations. To improve your mark by just participate. Ask questions and answer his. Great teacher and fair marker

This guy is nothing. His job is giving students hard time and very low grades even if your answers are correct.
If you take his class, you will get noting execpt boring time and low grades. Many of my classmates'grades for mid-term test were below 30%. Some even were below 10%.

Participate in class and show ur interest in him you'll get free 10% he doesn't care what questions. His topics are way off, he talks about fav food, drinks. If ur pretty and show interest in him u'll get A,.Old guys like 3 things: $, life, girls, that works everytime! Review classes are the key, its exactly what on the exams! others are useless!
Some people do not like him. He is terible to them. To me, he is an unconventional teacher. Likes to help students learning from class interaction and group presentations. I got a A for SMS413 and a A+ for SMS515. Everyone has different feedback for this gentleman. To me, he is a fine professor with in depth knowledge. As long as you followed his lecture, do case problems for SMS515 and take notes. Exams should be easy for you to handle. Good luck, guys.

If you want to get the first 0 in your life,you should take his course. He marks you depend on your language and what his impression on you. If he likes you, whatever you done he give you A. If he doesn't like you, you have more than 50% chance to get 0.

Probably one of the best teachers at Seneca. YES, his style is different, but it forces you to learn and read or you will fail. Getting an "A" in his class is not hard, just have to pay attention, take notes, and go to EVERY class especially review classes.
Didn't seam like very friendly guy. He also threatened if we will not shut up and listen he will throw out of class for ever. Not college lever teacher. What a shame.I dropped the class. I felt sick when I realized what I'm paying for. Keeps you in the class when you could see those DVD lessons at home and come and ask questions if you have them.
I took SMS515 back in 2007 with Terry as my prof. Now I'm at Ryerson. I had to retake the course as I didn't get a transfer credit. During the course at Ryerson I found myself going back to Terry's notes and using them as the Rye prof was useless. Thanks to Terry I got an A in the Ryerson class!

I took his class and went to Ryerson afterwards. His lectures really helped me with the classes I took at Ryerson. He is a really fair proff and he will teach you alot if you are willing and motivated to learn. Would take another class with him if i could for sure!
