Here's the thing, this course isn't hard if you put the required time into it. It's not something you can put off. Tests are 40% of your grade, they're 4 tests so just study and do well on those and you should pull a high grade in his class. The homework and video lectures aren't hard, just a little time consuming. 20 points Extra Credit Available

I took this online and it requires you to work for it. If you put in the work you can get a good grade, especially since it is graded on a curve, which is awesome. There is a lot of extra credit available and he is willing to work with you. I don't really like chemistry to begin with but this was a good class with an great teacher. 100% recommend.

I was really surprised how well I was able to interface with the material and this professor for this online course. Normally, an online course leaves me to do all the work without support, but not so with this professor. He was always there to answer questions and assist with Zoom assistance.

He literally helped me pass with a grade I didn't think I'd EVER receive in Chem1010. All of his test are take home, except for the mid-term and the final, but he lets you have a full page of notes on those. I also BOMBED the final, I emailed him, he got back to me in 5 mins and bumped up my exam grade and gave me 11 extra points so I could pass.

A rocky start with the (new to him) implementation of Lumen Learning in Canvas; this was eventually resolved. Takes the time to actually walk through the steps without over-relying on the book. Handwriting is messy but legible. A very fair grader. Takes work whenever you complete it with no late work penalties. Would take again in a heartbeat!
