dr. spohn is the smartest man alive. i love him!

Dr. Spohn is the most brilliant man I've ever had as a professor. Those of you that criticize him, SHAME on you. He's teaching you things that you can and will use once you escape the Liberty Bubble.

ok took him for Creation and loved him, He is retiring, or leaving at least to go over seas, if by some way u can take a class with him TAKE IT! LIBERT WILL MISS YOU DR. SPHOHN!!!!!!

Dr. Spohn is the best prof I have had at LU. He has a buku amount of knowledge and he loves his students. You don't get that everyday!

Dr. Spohn is probably the best teacher at LU. He loves it and u can tell. His tests are extremely hard though.. but he said he curves them at the end.. so we'll see. He knows what hes talking about though and loves to talk to u about stuff after class.

Quite possibly my favorite person. People blow off this class because it's pass/fail but he really knows his stuff and I learned a lot from him.

One of the best professors I have ever had. I was not interested in bio, but he made it fun and interesting. Take his class! His quizzes are challenging, but well worth it! I *heart* Dr. Spohn!

this was an awesome class. learning more about God's creation made worship that much more awesome.

He is possibly the most caring,kind-hearted professor i have EVER had.I loved his bio class even tho i got a C.Yes,his tests can be hard,but i also should have studied more.I wouldnt give up that class or Creation Studies w/ him for anything! + His many life experiences are nothing short of amazing!

Attendance wasn't required when i took his class, but i still went just because he was so entertaining to listen to! He's such a great guy and really explains the issues. Passionate. Even gets angry when thinking about those who oppose creation!

I love Dr. Spohn! He is so brilliant but explains things so anyone can understand them. I hate biology but actually enjoyed his class and learned a ton. His tests were pretty hard but I'm still really glad I took him. He absolutely loves his God, the students, and biology!

Excellent teaching and explaining. I'm not a huge bio person, but he really loves it and is hilarious and amazing, makes a great class. The tests are tough, but he also CURVES MASSIVELY at the end. My grade went up like 2 letters and I got an A! The lab seems intimidating at first, but it's really not bad and very interesting,HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Dr. Spohn is the best!!! He is tough, but you will do good if you pay attention in class and study. His class is worth going to and he is so smart he could probably perform surgery on himself if he needed to. He is very passionate about the Lord and finding the truth in everything. Great teacher!

Greatest prof ever. Absolutely loved his class even though it was at 8 in the morning. I would highly recommend.

Dr. Spohn is amazing! Anyone who says otherwise doesn't know what they are talking about. He has such a passion for biology and more importantly The Lord. He is great at illustrating how intricate the human body is and how it ties in with creation. He is also pretty much a genious. If you study his notes and go to class you will do well.

The tests for BIOL 102 are hard so you really have to study for them. I really learned a lot in this class. Dr. Spohn is a great professor. :)

There is no way to describe how amazing this guy is. There is nothing bad you can say. His class is lecture with four tests and a big curve at the end. You MUST take him! Sure he's hard, but it's an honor to fail a test of someone so amazing! : )

Dr. Spohn is pretty sweet. He helped me find out that I have a thyroid problem. Really kind and interested. :)

Dr. Spohn is probably one of the only professors I have ever met who has a genuine care about what the students learn but also the well-being of his students on an individual basis. Sadly, the lab course he teaches is no longer required for most majors. Even so, I recommend everybody with just a few extra credit hours available take this class.

study hard for exams! somewhat interesting class. cares about his students. drove me crazy sometimes because he repeats stories over and over and always says "almost like it was planned" after everything. My fav was when he said "Beloved,when we are in heaven one day i will race you on a taradactal"....LOL so wierd

You DEFINETELY want to take Dr. Spohn before he eventually retires. You will never meet a man who has a better grasp on how biology relates to God, and he is such a blessing! And he tells you so many really really interesting things, and in a way you'll remember. If you pay attention you will often laugh and sometimes almost cry. Be sure and study.

I could not say enough about Dr. Spohn. He is so experienced in his vast knowledge. He is still passonate about the things he is teaching. His classes were interesting. I could have cared less about biology going into this class, and I am ready to be a science major just to take more classes with Dr. Spohn! Not a cake course, but worth it!!

When in Rome, do as the Romans, right? Well, when in Spohn's class, learn as he teaches. Unlike the BIOL 104 Lab, you will never use the textbook shy of tables and diagrams. You can easily get away with copying information from them during a visit to the library. If you buy the book, be thankful that he's the only professor using an older edition.

AMAZING, prolly the best teacher I've ever had. Very knowledgable and keeps the class interesting. A great guy who is very passionate about teaching, if you get the opportunity, take him.

Dr. Spohn was PHENOMENAL! I would recommend him 100 times over!!! He made science come alive and as long as you take good notes and study the parts of the book that he says, you will do great!! :)

Dr. Sphon is AWESOME! He LOVES his job & it shows! He has enthisuasm about it. Makes it EASY to get a good grade-- even if you suck at science. Go to class & take notes and you're guaranteed at least a C. I heard he curves at the end of the semester

He is an absolutely amazing teacher that truly cares about his students and knows the material to a tee. He is extremely intelligent, but teaches the material in such a way students can actually relate and understand the material!

EXCELLENT professor. He's extremely intelligent, but don't be intimidated. He really breaks down the information and makes it easy to understand. No homework, 5 tests (one counts as the final). I would highly recommend him. Greets the class: "Good morning young chamions!" and totally loves and admires God.

You couldn't ask for a better teacher. Dr. Spohn Is such a great teacher, and relates things in class to the bible. Highly Recommended

He is one of the most interesting professors I have ever had. He tells the most interesting stories about his life. He makes the material interesting and I love how he incorporates the Bible and Christianity into Biology. Overall he is an amazing professor so I highly recommend him.

I had Dr.Spohn about 10 years ago. Yes, that long ago. He was so informative and inspiring. I am even more interested in Apologetics (Creation Studies) to this day because of him. He is a great speaker/presenter, passionate about the subject, willing to help you, I found myself wanting to read and be in class because I found it to be fascinating

I love Dr. Spohn! He is very knowledgeable and makes each class exciting! I took both the class and lab and have loved it even when i normally don't like science. I would tell everyone to take him. The class has 5 tests and the lab has 10 quizzes and he drops the lowest. He curves both classes.. TAKE HIM!!

Dr. Spohn is one of the greatest profs here at Liberty. Forget 101 and take Spohn. It will be completely worth your time. He will give you great foundations to defend your faith to evolutionist friends. The class is only 5 tests, which are curved (sometimes 15+ points). The only class that I wish wasn't over.

Dr. Spohn was the best professor I have ever had! He made science so interesting that I actually really desired to go to class. He knows Biology and even told us about things not added to the text book yet. Dr. Spohn also made the class relevant to me. He's the best!

One of the best profs ever! he made bio soooo exciting. it's not my major, but I felt like I missed so much when I missed class twice. He tells great stories and makes science SO much more clear. Take notes on what he says, not just on the power point! GREAT class, even if you don't have to take it. I can't wait to take his lab!

I couldn't stand science, and especially Biology, until I took this class. I took this class my sophomore year at Liberty and he is still my favorite professor. He made the material so interesting, I hated missing class! He tells the best stories and really cares about his students. You do have to study for the tests, but he curves alot. Take him!

Everyone needs a science prereq before CRST 290, so take Spohn for BIO 102! I could not care less about biology, but this was my absolute FAVORITE class. I learned so much, and it really wasn't hard at all. It'd be a wise move to get the notes from someone who took the class previously. Just sayin. Spohn LOVES God and LOVES His creation. :D

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED DR. SPOHN! I took the class for my 1 science requirement.He demands respect but is the greatest christian man you will ever meet! He has such passion and excitement. I learned something valuable Every single class!He got me excited about something I cared nothing about which is priceless to me!I wish he was my grandpa!TAKE HIM!

Most Awesome Professor EVER! Never met anyone more deserving of respect in my entire life. I hate biology, but love his classes. Take him over anyone. Expect mass protesting when he retires.

Spohn may be my favorite professor so far at Liberty. He is not an easy A. You have to do the reading and attend class and pay attention and take notes but the tests are not impossible. And he really is super nice about letting you make up quizzes/tests

I absolutely adore Dr.Spohn. He is by no means an easy A however, I agree with whoever said that if anyone deserves respect it is Dr.Spohn. He is kind and passionate about his field. I always learned something new and never once went through class without laughing. He is extremely funny and as someone else said I would love it if he were my grandpa

Best professor ever!

Fantastical Prof!!!! If You need to take a natural science, I would definitely recommend any class he teaches. I had him for the class and the lab and he was just as helpful in the lecture as he was in the lab! He's really quirky which is part of his charm. The tests aren't easy but if you study and take good notes you'll do fine.

He's an awesome prof, not an easy class by any means though, the exams were very difficult. I was always laughing in his class though and I learned more in the first class then I did my whole senior year. Very quirky but that's what I love about him!

Dr. Spohn is an awesome professor with a witty personality. He is very helpful and as kind as they come. I guarantee whoever takes his classes will LOVE his personality. HOWEVER, his classes usually come with TEST ONLY. No other grades. No quizes, no class activities, nada. And the test are very hard. It takes a lot of studying and paying attention

Great professor. I hate science, but Dr. Spohn really makes it interesting and easy to pay attention. That being said, you have to take a ton of notes and the tests are extremely hard. But if you study A LOT you'll do fine.

Dr. Spohn is a wonderful professor! Very funny and quirky. I am not a science person by any means and went into this course a little nervous. However, I did well and loved going to class and hearing his crazy stories. He really knows his subject and is very passionate. If you take good notes and study you should not have a problem in this class.

Great professor, although ridiculously hard

I truly enjoyed learning from Dr. Spohn. He is an engaging lecturer who both knows his stuff and cares deeply about his students. I could tell that even though there probably were hundreds of us in the room, he loved each one of us and wanted the best for us. He's also very funny, honest, and I learned many things that are relevant to daily life.

Awesome class and awesome professor. You had to study but it was interesting information and totally worth it. Take this professor!!!

He is an amazing professor and is willing to take time out of his busy day to help his students. I have taken bio and crst with this prof and in both classes he was just awesome! He is hard, but you learn a lot. If you have the opportunity take him!

I enjoyed Dr. Spohn's lectures, as he's funny & has a way of making someone like me interested in biology. He gives clear examples. His exams are crazy tough, this was my top-priority "studying" class. He curves a letter grade, which helps. He takes no BS.

Love Mr. Spohn! He's pretty funny and has many stories to tell. I recommend him to anyone who is taking Biology. I would definitely take his class again.

Dr. Spohn is a great professor. CRST 290 was very interesting, and I enjoyed it. Your grade is made of four 250 point tests which makes the class difficult if you don't stay on your game.

Dr. Spohn made biology my favorite class last semester. Everyone said his class was difficult, and I don't deny that it wasn't an easy A, but I had no trouble on tests. I appreciated that we weren't given busy work assignments or quizzes because this gave me more time to study after the class. He is passionate about teaching students and science.

Easily the best professor I've had so far. His lectures are fantastic and extremely interesting. Read the text along with his class notes to prepare for his tests and you'll do fine!!

Dr. Sphon is a wonderful professor, however his tests are hard! The only grades in the class are 5, 200 point tests. There is a lot of material covered for each test. The tests are multiple choice and true/ false and application. This is a very difficult course for a level 100.

As long as you study, you'll do fine. Great professor who cares about his students. Definitely one of the best professors I've had Liberty.

As his only grades are his 4 (250 point) tests, pay attention in lecture. However, it won't be hard because he's hilarious, informative, and interesting. I never read the book and got an A on every test. 11/10

Dr. Spohn is one of the smartest people I have ever met. He is very funny and knowledgeable. However, you better do your studying. The only grades given are the exams and they are difficult. Take PLENTY of notes and study them over and over again. He rarely takes attendance, but you better go to class. He's very easy to pay attention to!

The man really knows his stuff. Particularly about creation studies. He has led national creation debates for Creationists. He gives great lectures. However, the class only has four exams. The first one is ridiculously hard, but I got A's on the last three.

Dr. Spohn was an amazing professor. He is highly intelligent and helps you to understand why (as Christians) we believe what we believe in creation studies. Would definitely take anything he teaches- but expect to WORK!
