I find the professor very clear and concise. He is in tune with the students. If he visualizes that you are at a loss, he will stop what he is teaching and ask what we are not clear on. I enjoy taking this class.

I had Prof. Zamor last semester for MAT 0028, he truly cares about his student's passing. Speaks loud and clear, and if you ask him for help he will do whatever he can to help you. Attendance is important, as is the online homework. He offers Extra Credit sometimes to students who show up. Overall great professor

Professor is strict on attendance and being on time to class. He works all examples from the book on the whiteboard and works rather quickly but is good about not moving forward until all questions are answered and directions are clear.

Great teacher! This was my 1st math class in 10 years so I was a little nervous. He moves at a pace that works for everyone, he will not move forward unless everyone understand material. You MUST be on time and you MUST come to class.

I never thought I would like Algebra. Professor Zamor is great at explaining things in layman's terms. He's encouraging and positive. He engages the class in the subject. I took this class for fall 2014. I am not a huge fan of his, and would not recommend him to anyone. But his knows his stuff and makes you earn your grade. Not a good people person and is way too loud. But overall I had a better understanding of math than ever before in my life. He is worth the money but do not recommend for those who are lazy.

Zamor is a great professor! Yes his voice is very loud but that is what keeps you interested in the topic. His teaching style is to include everyone in the room so he will call on you once every class meeting. He goes through the material quickly but if asked he will slow down and explain anything you are having trouble with. try him out!

I did not find him helpful. If you have a question he doesn't really give the impression that he's "glad" to help. If your good at math I recommend; he takes attendance very seriously so skipping is not an option. He doesn't really care what's going on in your life lol honestly but he's a good teacher. From a scale to 1-10 i give him like a 6-7

Professor Zamor is definitely a stickler for attendance. He is easy to communicate with and will answer any questions you may have. He expects you to attend each class held and arrive on time, if not early. Even if you're not the best test taker, you can still earn a high B just by attending class and completing all of your homework.

Professor Zamor is a great Math teacher. He is alittle hard to understand at first (b/c of accent) but he takes each student through the material very clearly and is always willing to stop and explain each question. There is a good amount of hw to do &only four tests + the final. It is an easy A or B if you stay attentive and simply do the work.

If you can handle constructive criticism then he is great. He can be a little tough if you don't participate, but that is all on you. He pushes his students to do well though and cares that they learn what they need to. As long as you do your homework and participate during class you should do good on your tests. After failing this class twice and being horrible at math, I was finally able to pass thanks to Professor Zamor. Very knowledgeable and provides opportunities to earn extra points. Taking the mini-semester, it was a lot of homework packed into 5 weeks but its worth doing as the practice will help you on the tests.

As long as you show up and put in effort you're going to pass. He grades attendance and doesn't mess around but it pays off in the end. I failed his class the first time around and took him again because I knew if I put in the work I'd pass. He's a great professor and i wish he was teaching college algebra!

Zamor was the bomb dot com. He seriously scared the crap out of me, and pushed me to actually learn. I feel bad for anyone, that has some permissive teacher for their first semester of college. Zamor prepared me for college through brutal hard work for what was a first math class. This man is the truth, he is difficult, but will get you on track.

I took him for a mini session in the summer. It is extremely fast paced so if math is not your strong suit doing a mini session might be a bit intimidating. However, I really enjoyed the pace and his teaching style. Just had 3 tests and the Final. Also has extra credit opportunities. Just be respectful and show up.

I took this class during the Summer for the mini term B and I did very good. This was a fast pace session. This professor would take the time to explain a problem if we didnt understand it and would give us the opportunity to ask questions as well. If youre looking for a good math professor, this is the one to look at!

Loved Professor Zamor. However, if you're not good at math, I would not recommend. In class, you will be taking notes the whole time and you will be called on to answer questions. Attendance and being on time is crucial. Outside of class, you have an assignment on my labs plus for each section, practice tests are given and multiple-choice tests.

He's a great Professor for those who are strong in math. I felt he went too fast for me, but he is thorough about what he teaches. I give him kudos for being to the point and for making sure students succeed, but I feel everyone learns differently. But if you're strong in math I'd recommend him then.

He's a great teacher and makes sure you're involved and understand the material. However, he is a VERY fast-paced teacher. In class, you will be lectured the whole and time taking notes. Your pencil won't leave your paper. It can be hard to keep up. I'm good at math so this class was a breeze. If you're not good with math I wouldn't recommend him.

Hes very big on participation so make sure that you pay attention and ask questions when confused instead waiting until he calls on you. there are videos attached to each HW assignments that helps you review what we talked about in class. I took this class on zoom so we used proctorio for test. Make sure to get a external webcam!

He is SO good at teaching. Doesn't give that much homework. I did not use the textbook even once but you will use MYlabsPlus all the time for homework and I believe there's an online textbook on there as well. If you are the type to show up to class and do your homework then you will get an A. He is the best math teachers I have had so far.

I have tried to take this class many times but it wasn't until Mr. Zamor that I truly understood. I was worried about taking this class online but it turned out to be fantastic.. His video lectures are great and I could rewind as many times as I needed without having to raise my hand and disrupt a class. Wish I could take MAT 1033 from him

If you are prepared to do a whole lot of self learning then you can take this class online. Not even sure I heard him speak once. But the assignments and quizzes have unlimited tries so if you can learn the material on your own then this class would be alright.

MGF 1107 is an online class so the professor doesn't have a class where he teaches. His assignments are unlimited and that is homework and quizzes. The tests do close early but you have five days to take them. Professor Zamor is always willing to help

Professor Zamor made the semester a whole lot easier, AS LONG AS YOU COMMUNICATE WITH HIM! His class has lots of homework yes, but if you organize yourself and the work, you'll be fine. I took this as an online math course with math being my WEAKEST subject. Professor Zamor was so helpful and encouraging. I could email him, at any time, with any question, and ALWAYS get a response in more than a timely manner. If I had to take more math classes, I would take from him again.

Professor Zamor's online math class was challenging, but doable if you stay organized and proactive. The unlimited assignments and quizzes helped, and unstuck ai was a great study tool. Just be ready for strict test policies.

Nice and was happy to answer student's questions when they had them. Does not accept anyone being late, will not let others enter once he starts class at it's exact time. He speaks a little loudly at times, but you get used to it. It can sometimes be difficult to keep up when writing notes, as he goes a little fast. Does not allow electronics out.

This class was very straight forward but beware of deadlines. Many assignments due at once so will have to pace yourself! Does not accept late work.

Professor Zamor is one of the best professors I've had. He makes sure that you are learning and that you understand what's going on.

Professor Zamor is one of the best professor I've ever had in college. He knows how to teach, you will learn a lot on his classes. The only thing is that he explain everything really fast. Also, if you arrive late to class, he won't allow you to enter to the class, even if there is a quiz.

Best math class that I have ever taken.

I've had Professor Zamor for both MAT 0057 and MAT 1033. He is a very passionate and caring professor and is willing to meet you in the middle IF you put in the work. In his courses, you will have to work hard and keep pace with him to receive a passing grade or higher.

Professor Zamor is very to the point when it comes to expectations for his class. I did his class online, he provided all of the material I needed and answered questions within a timely manner. He was very understanding if I had mishaps during proctored assessments and when asking questions or needing further clarification on any assignments.

I took Professor Zamor online. I don't know what students expect for online. If you are taking an online course then you are teaching yourself. Also Professor Zamor loaded videos of his lectures for the chapters.

Professor Zamor calls on his students. Honestly, that kept me awake in class lol. He encourages his students to ask questions and he stops to ask who has questions. I am not good in math but he helped me to get better.

This class was an online class and I had to dedicate some time to it. I always started early to be ahead because I am not good in math. Professor Zamor answered my questions quickly and was available to meet in his office. There are Powerpoints in the modules and Professor Zamor's videos in Media gallery in canvas.

I loved Prof. Zamors class. He was a great teacher for me, I passed with a 99. The classes are lectures, he doesn't let you in if you are late. You have to show up for class, it is graded. If you don't understand math you might not understand him. While I understood it, I already had an understanding of it before I took his class.

Honestly, at first I totally thought he was going to be a strict and unhelpful teacher. He put on a very tough and loud first impression but I stayed because I'm the type of person to get through it. He was amazing, and totally straightforward with you, as long as you engage with him and WANT to learn I promise you he'll be your favorite teacher!

Professor Zamor is the best! At first I thought that he would be strict but I realized that he wants us to succeed. He teaches good but if you don't understand something ASK HIM!!! He gave us 5 extra points of the final exam if we went to class everyday. Make sure that you study EVERYTHING for the final exam!

I'm not good at math, but this class really helped me. He's lecture heavy and pretty straightforward with his teaching, but sometimes it can be a tiny bit fast paced, despite this, his homework's help you understand everything. He's very test heavy, so make sure you do homework's to retain everything. Tests are easy if you do the homework.

Honestly, he's a great math professor if you're the type of student who puts in the effort. If you're easily embarrassed, don't take him. He will call you out during a lecture to answer a question and if you get it wrong, he'll keep coming back to you when that type of problem comes back again and he locks the door as soon as it's time to start.
