LOVED her!

This professor is great, she goes over everything, doesn't give much homework at all, and doesn't mind answering questions. As far as math teachers go at SCC, she is the best I've had. And she's totally adorable.

Prof. Creel is an awesome teacher! She truly loves math and enjoys teaching it to others. I do not like math at all, but she helps me understand it by making it fun and humorous. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Best teacher I have ever had in all 3 years of school. Really fun, and understanding. Shes VERY willing to help you on tests, and there is very minimal homework. I could not RECOMMEND a better teacher at SCC.

She was an excellent teacher. I highly recommend you take this class. You have to do homework, but she hand-feeds you the notes and what will be on the test. Very fair and tests were not too hard if you followed the reviews. She made math fun with her stories and she's pretty cute too! If you want an A take this proffesor!

Really sweet teacher, Very fair and doesn't make exceptions for ANYONE. You better be on time or you will miss some of her notes. Very organized and helpful, if you have to take stat take it with her.

I took Mrs.Creel for STATS, she mad it very clear on the first day that the class would be an easy A. You need to show up for class and you dont need a text book b/c she does everything through WEBASSIGN. She was very humorous and really wants everyone to get an A. I suck at math but i am doing pretty well in the course.

I LOVE MS CREEL! She is the best professor I've ever had at Seminole State. I took her for Concepts of Calc and she made the class fun. She's hilarious and pretty cute too. I wish she taught every subject because i would take her for every class!!

At first I was worried about taking statistics cause it was a whole different subject in the math world. But Ms. Creel made it fun, enjoyable, and she knows what she's talking about. Just do the work, take notes, keep a schedule of when things are due and you'll most likly get an A. She's extremly nice and don't be afraid to ask questions.

Outstanding Professor! Made statistics very clear and easy. We used webassign for all homework, quizes, and exams and while it had a few glitches or issues she was very quick to correct them and make us aware of what the issues were. Would def recommend to anyone! Easy A if you pay attention, do the work, and show up.

She is a great teacher that I would recommend to anyone. I was a little turned off by her class on the first day of class, but she quickly grew on me. Textbooks weren't required for her class, she makes a lot of jokes, but she only taught us how to use the calculator. Like I said, I would recommend her to anybody.

Good teacher, cute too. Makes sure everyone understands stuff. Can get upset if people use phones or show up late. H/W & quizzes are all online in a smooth format. Teaches fast, but will take story breaks if people need to catch up. Dont miss a class or you will miss alot! Very organized, and nice. Loved having her. Will def take her again.

Great teacher, concepts are clear, fair grading, extra credit offered for tests. You don't need the book, use web assign and her test reviews to study. Enjoyed going to class. The subject material isn't easy, but if you put time into studying, complete the homework, and attend class, you'll do fine. Wish she was teaching Calc II.

Funny lady does her job well taught all information without a book and helps you grasp the concept. Be on time and be a good student and you will be fine. The material is difficult so keep ontop of it. I got an A but I worked real hard. Do not buy the book. LOVE HER

I didn't do so hot in the class, but that was my fault. Don't miss classes, study for the tests, and don't forget your hw and quizzes, and it's an easy grade. Very helpful and funny. Don't buy the book. And for the love of god, leave your cell phone in the car. Taking her for coll math now, MUCH easier than algebra, which makes me enjoy her more :)

Tuff class in general. But she makes it easy to understand and always asks for questions. The material is hard in general. The tests are tough also. No book all work was done on webassign. Alot of homework and quizes weekly. Overall excellent teacher just tuff class. Man am I glad that finished lol. Enjoy

Somehow...I got a B in this class. I have no idea how that happened, because I am AWFUL at math. I really like Prof Creel, but she can be very moody, and let that effect how she reacts to the class. Turn your cell phones OFF, and don't be a smart ass and she'll be fine. Her notes are very clear and concise and mymathlab is great. TY PROF CREEL!!

Pretty easy, but expects you to do the homework and help yourself out. Her explanations are very easy to understand but some students want the prof to explain alg. I and she usually will not spend much time on basic material you should know prior to the class. Great teacher and easy on the eyes.

She doesn't really "teach" but her class is EASY! She gives you the notes for class, you just fill in the blanks as she goes over them. Homework is online and you have many chances to make a 100. Tests are NOT easy, but if you keep up with the homework and other assignments you'll do great. I got a B and failed 2 test and missed 5 homeworks.

Professor Creel is AMAZING. I failed Stats the first time with a horrible teacher but with her I am able to make 100s on hw, quized, and tests (yes, if u do good on hw/quiz u can do great on TESTS). She is also a very caring, warm and passionate person...she cares about your success in this class. PLEASE take my advice and take her

Took her online. Good teacher, very helpful. Subject in general is not the easiest it's very time consuming but doable. I basically taught myself most of the work but whenever I didn't get something she explained it to where it seemed so easy all of a sudden! I recommend her.

I took the online class. The class is hard and very time consuming. Ms. Creel will help you as much as possible, but you need to invest countless hours studying. There are four tests, several quizzes, and the final which is taken on campus. Eventhough,the calculator is not mandatory it should be and I highly recommend it. Good luck!!

She is not too bad. I love the organization in her "fill out" notes and lectures -- very convenient. However, if you're falling behind, it's a little hard to reach her at times because her office hours are limited; but you can always email her on Statcrunch, and she will do the best she can to answer the questions you have.

Statcrunch is amazing. Great teacher. Lots of quizzes, tests, and opportunities for extra credit. Lots of self-teaching...fast pace in class room due to several whiz students who answer quickly. Very nice professor.

This teacher was awesome! She was very helpful with the class. She repeated information and did extra problems if you needed help. One test during the semester is hard but as long as you show up and show up for the reviews before tests you will pass. Great teacher to take.

I've never been able to pass math until I took her class, she is excellent! Very helpful and will always answer your questions. She teaches clearly and makes the class very fun!

Professor Creel was an awsome teacher. She was very nice and very helpful hard to reach outside of class though pertaining to office hours but other than that she was great. Broke each problem down step by step and made it much less complicated than it actually could have been. Take her! Don't buy the book just the mymath lab and statcrunch kit

Wow! She is funny, energetic and VERY appealing to the eyes. She knows her stuff, but expects you to show up and do the work. If you do, you'll do great. Besides, why wouldn't you show up - I mean, I could look into those eyes all day!

She is great always cheerful and pleasant. She gives a review before each test and goes over problems in class. Go to class everyday and take notes and you will do just fine. DO NOT buy the book if you are taking her for stats you just need mymathlab

ABSOLUTELY amazing teacher!I LOVE Mrs. Creel. She makes math fun and exciting. Math is NOT my subject,and ended up getting a B in the class. HIGHLY recommended!! She also drops half the HW and quiz grades! Which helps a lot!! TAKE HER TAKE HER TAKE HER!

Very helpful and answers e-mails on Fridays and weekends, usually within half an hour on a day something is due. There was a lot of homework which I didn't need, but really helped those that struggled with stat. Projects have terrible wording, be sure to CHECK IT FIVE TIMES. Stories and interaction made it a fun class to look forward to.

She is wonderful! She explains everything in detail and makes sure you understand the concepts before moving on. No textbook needed because she has her own notes provided to you. You have homework and quizes due weekly on mystatlab (make sure you do them). DON'T KEEP YOUR CELLPHONE ON DURING YOUR CLASS. If it rings the entire class gets a pop quiz.

Do NOT buy the book.With the MyMathLab,you get access to a virtual copy of the book and that alone costs enough.You will need to look at the virtual textbook for the z-chart in the very last section.When she says that there will be a formula sheet at the testing center,don't rely on that.Memorize all formulas.Lucky that I got a B & I'm an A student

I took Prof. Creel back in spring of 2012. I enjoyed the class very much. In order to do well in the class, attend lectures, do homework and study the notes. Mind of warning. Statistical principles do not work well for a person who is good in algebra. Fully use the opportunity of her office hours, and tutoring center. It helped me alot.

You don't need the book, just mymathlab and you need to create a Statcrunch acct. She was always super helpful anytime I had a question. The only thing that I really didn't like is the group projects because if one person got their questions wrong, everyone got marked off for it because apparently, you have to be a babysitter and double-check.

I'll preface this with the following statement. I'm not very good at math... That said, I'd say this class is still one of the easier maths I've taken. Lots of information to retain. Teacher was great, but leave your cellphone in the car. 4 major tests, I think. homework and quizzes online each week. Minor projects due with each test.

This is a great teacher to have, she is very helpful and she even gives bonus points!! Just keep your cell phone off and ask questions and you'll be fine. The homework is easy, you have up to 5 times to take a quiz and get a good grade also. She is an awesome teacher, probably one of the best I've ever taken.

Loved Professor Creel. Very helpful when it comes to homework, projects and tests. If I could, I would take another class with her. She was always fairly energetic, which made class interesting and she always engaged with the students

Ms. Creel was a great teacher for a somewhat difficult subject, Stats. She made the material easy to understand. Bottom line, you get out what you put in. And don't bother buying the hard copy book, never touched it, just used statlab

Enjoyed this class, but studied a lot. The tests are hard- she takes off points for symbol drawing and sometimes adds essay questions that seem arbitrary. Projects are due before tests, so if you are doing something wrong, you won't know until after you take the test and get the grades.

Sweet lady but her class is tough! She definitely loads on the homework and quizzes,keep up with it! she gives projects that are due the day of the test,so you won't know what you're doing wrong until after the test. Her tests are pretty difficult and marks off for little things. You need to put in A LOT of work for this class, but it's not too bad

Professor Weir (I will spare her the name Creel, as she is soon changing it) was, hands down, my FAVORITE professor of my entire A.A. at SSC. She is hysterical, energetic, brilliant, funny, and she makes the class FUN! I wish I could put her in my pocket and have her teach me every class for my Bachelor's. LOVE HER!!

I love this professor! She always keeps class very interesting and the tests aren't too bad (you can also get at least 5 extra credit points each test, even the final!!!). She loves what she does and it shows in her teaching. She is there for her students 24/7. I DEFINITELY recommend this professor.

She is NOT boring, she keeps great office hours and covers what you need to know to pass the class! WARNING: there will NOT be a "show me how" button for mymathlab hw. If you struggle with a problem, go see her, and you will do great!

VERY energetic and fun! She is super funny. She gives partial credit for wrong answers in tests, and offers extra credit for tests as well. She also just happens to be the one who writes the standardized final exam for Seminole State, so each chapter's test is similar to the final. Would DEFINITELY recommend!!!!

Stat is definitely an easy math course. Only math you'll have to do is add/subtract/divide/mult. Prof. Creel is very energetic and super cool! She's really sweet and is extremely helpful. Everything you do will be on a computer. (Homework, quizzes, notes, some tests). I passed with a C. She has the HIGHEST PASSING RATE of any math professor at SSC!

Best math professor hands down. Really enjoyed her class. Really fun and energetic. She takes time to go over any questions and readily available when it comes to emailing about homework problems. She really cares! Definitely recommend :)

Not an easy class for everyone you have to be motivated. I love math so it was an easy A. Test are pretty straight-forward and short. The teacher really cares and responds fast.

Professor Wier is an amazing professor and anyone who see's otherwise is ridiculous. She will help you no matter what, provides a great atmosphere in her classroom. Calc def isn't my subject but she helped me understand each section. Im highly disturbed that people have the audacity to say anything bad about her you'd be lucky to learn from her

Proffesor Weir is an awesome math professor! She makes stats FUN and actually I found myself looking forward to going to math class (I usually hate math!) She is really funny and energetic, good at getting the class involved! Yes there are group projects - but they are enjoyable and relevant! It was a pleasure taking her class, I would recomend!!

I tool this class as a second attempt from my Statistics course requirement, and I could not have been more pleasantly surprised! It turned out that now I love statistics and Professor Weir is probably the best teachers I have ever had the pleasure learning from! I loved this class so much I actually decided to change my major to Statistics! :-)

Professor Weir is amazing. I haven't taken Calculus in 3 years but she makes it easier. She gives lots of good examples in class. Just do the homework, quizzes and maple assignments. Good teacher 4 tests throughout the year. Teaches you everything you need to know and does really helpful reviews. Lots of homework and quizzes each week online really tanked my grade but still a good teacher.

An amazing teacher. Im usually not good at math its my kryptonite but she has a very fun way to teach and is very helpful. Not to mention she is easy on the eyes and has a corny funny sense of humor lol. Definitely a must take.

There is a quiz and at least two to five homework assignments every week online. This might seem like a lot, but there isn't a lot of problems in each assignment. There are four tests and a final. She gives extra credit, but not too much so don't rely on that to save you. She is extremely helpful, funny, and intelligent. Would strongly recommend.

Professor Tess was very helpful, she explains everything very well an she is always there to help you if you don't understand something. But You better be ready to work a lot, and very hard, she is a tough grader And Statistical Methods is a lot of confusing stuff together. You'll have to work so hard that you will learn this thing that none likes.

Taking statistics with this professor was enjoyable. She is good at engaging students and explaining concepts. She gives extra credit for doing test reviews online and for being at class sometimes. She drops lowest 3 homework grades. If you do the all the homework, online quizzes, and participate you'll get an A

I took Professor Tessie St. John (Weir) Statistics class ONLINE. She does an EXCELLENT job with her lectures and course material. However, the student MUST study/practice, complete HW, quizzes, and tests to be READY to take the 2 proctored midterm and final exams. Watch her lectures, study and you will do well in her class. Highly recommended!!
