The basic part (similar to homworks) of the exam is easy. The only hard part is the Proofs, but don't worry, just try your best and try to practice them; If only a small part of the class get the proofs, then you will get the credit for free. Therefore, study really HARD, get the basic parts. Sensi also help you after class, go to his office!

Kojima is a nice and funny guy. He has a good teaching style, is easy to understand. The problem that nobody really talks about in here is how he rushes quizzes/exams on students. He almost gives no time to study/review. Not an easy "A". He's very strict and not forgiving to his students. Take someone else if you struggle in math He's a last resort

Gentle and a helpful professor. Never makes you feel terrible or judges your capability in the class. He gives good lectures, and a reasonable amount of HW. However, the exams and quizzes are given out too quickly without any time to review and study. This class was a struggle, with little wiggle room. Be cautious of him if math isn't your forte.

Prof Kojima is not only a good teacher, not also a good friend. Although he never takes attendence in class, he manages to remember your name and build connections with you. You take 12 quizzes, three exams and a final throughout the semester. Exams are short and open notes, and he gives A LOT of extra credit. Cons: forgets to post HW occasionally

Fun and approachable. Messes up so much during lecture but gives us points on our weekly quizzes. Grades are mostly from from quizzes/exam. Lenient grading on problems. As long as you do your homework, go to the SI tutoring (extra credit too), you can get an easy A/B. However, he goes FAST. Makes students randomly go up to do problems on the board.

I took Dr.Kojima in a condensed 6 week trig course over the winter session and boy does this class move fast, however his great sense of humor and clear lectures aswell as a reasonable amount of homework and extra credit helped me along the way. I imagine taking him in a 16-week course would have been a lot less stressful as far as trig/calc goes

I had to withdraw from his class because he uses shortcuts and I am against that. When it comes to quizzes and exams, you have to reread some of the notes and the book.
