Took this class over the summer... it was rough, she had little time to go into depth with explanations and some days so much homework it was difficult to try and keep up. She explains math very well, and is always around to help you out:) I am horrible at math, and I honestly believe if it weren't for her teaching me, I wouldn't be where I am now in my math classes:) Definitely take her!!!

Ms.Roberts is a great teacher. She explians the lesson very well. She always have a smile on her face. Very helpful. She gives homework everyday but it's not a lot and it helps on the test. Her test are not that hard you just have to make sure you study. She's super! I would refer her to anyone!

Mrs. Roberts, there would be something wrong if she frowned. The best teacher by far. Broke algebra down short and simple. Attend class and you'll pass. I took her 2 semesters in a roll and wish she was teaching college algebra, I'd take again in a heartbeat. Better pick her class as early as possible or that opportunity will be gone.

Amazing teacher I took her class during the short summer semester, she covered all the important stuff and I got a 98%. If you aren't good at math I deff recommend her, she makes it easy, and she great even if you are good at math.

This is was one of the first courses I took as a Dual Enrollment student and still being both a high school and college student was very intimidating, however Mrs. Roberts alleviated all my apprehension and truly connects with each of her students. Professor Thanease Roberts is amazing. She truly cares about her students. She explains complex problems very easy and she opens the math lab before class which allows personal time to ask questions. The only down fall is that the Tests are a major percentage of your grade so study hard.

I am really bad at math but surprisingly I got a 97% as my overall grade and passed the class. She is an amazing professor and very friendly. I enjoyed her classes, there's not a single period that we stayed for all 1 hr and 15 mins. The most we were there for 45 minutes. Attend her class and she will tell you what to expect on tests.

Im not a math person In fact I dreaded it....I took Mrs. Roberts for College Prep Math, Intermediate Algebra, and College Algebra... passed with Bs. Go to class especially for her test reviews most of the problems are similar on the test. I am so much better at math now, and actually understand it because of her. Shes an awesome professor.

Ms. Roberts is a very kind and caring lady. She catered a lot to her students. Class was canceled a few days, but Ms. Roberts was trying to her best to help with everything, she caught us up and even let us use our notes during our test. Additionally, during that test, she let us take it over multiple days if we didn't finish it the first day.

Ms. Roberts is the best math professor on this campus! I took her in remedial math and will be taking her next semester for college algebra. She really cares for her students and gives plenty of one-on-one help. She'll even help you on tests if you have a question on a problem! She's the sweetest woman I've ever met and is an amazing professor.

As an online course, Prof. Roberts gave a lot of videos, powerpoints and activities for each chapter to help you succeed. I'm pretty average in math and easily pulled an A. However, your grade is MOSTLY based on your 4 tests and very little on all the homework and quizzes so you definitely have to study and be prepared for the tests.

I would take her again, she was really nice and every time I need a little extra help she was glad there to help me out! She one if the few that really cares.

Professor Roberts is a great math teacher. She teaches the simplest way to work out a problem. Online Access is required. Grading is straight to the point. I recommend her for all!

The online class was all just on your own work. I watched the videos, did the homework, took the quizzes, and passed the tests, so I did well.

I took this course online, there was lots of homework but Professor was accessible for help. I would recommend taking math courses in person if you arent a good math person. Professor Roberts did send notes for each chapter. Great math instructor.

Roberts was not a super hands-on teacher, but she did provide supplemental materials for the class. Most of the work was on Pearson, with videos followed by quizzes. There were 4 Honorlock tests. Each chapter had videos and homework. It was really easy to self-pace, given that her deadlines were spread out. Very flexible to fit a schedule.

She was my first college professor for my first year and I loved everything about her and her teaching made it soo easy to understand and follow along! I wish I could take her for every math class I have.

Professor Roberts was very easy to get ahold of outside class. Make sure you check your canvas announcements on the days leading up to tests for helpful information. I will for sure be taking College Algebra in the fall with Professor Roberts.

Ms. Roberts is the best teacher in the math department. Shes breaks down concepts and formulas. More than willing to help. Stop by her office or stay after class for help, shes intelligent, kind, funny, and sweet. Had a 99.57 in Mat0057, 90 in Mat1033, and 95 in Mac1105. Wish she taught upper level mathematics. Im a math junkie and admire her!

Ms. Roberts was a great professor. If you needed help she would help you with any assignment question that you didn't understand. I had Ms. Roberts for project eagle during the summer of 2021 and she was nice. She would ask if we needed help and she would walk right over and help someone. Ms. Roberts is the best professor that I have had at CF.

The way Professor Roberts teaches is fantastic. I've never had an A in math till I took her class, it was all C's or D's usually with maybe a few B's. She's very clear and precise and she explains things very well. You're able to work ahead which makes the work load lessen a bit. If you need to take a math and can take her, I urge you to.

Great professor, she gives you the entire unit to complete all homework. You must be in class for tests because she doesnt allow makeups.

Prof R is such a cheerful human and is always giggling. Just show up bc if you miss something, it will be difficult. She hangs out after class and helps us on most days and doesn't mind that you stay in her classroom to finish your work. She makes things easier to understand. Best Math Professor

I hate math and have always struggled with it, but Professor Roberts has made it so easy for me to understand and actually be okay with math. I have never finished a math class with an A+ before! Just be aware that her class is weighted 70/30, with testing being a heavy hit to your grade if you fail one. Best Math teacher, hands down!

I was worried about taking this class, but I have enjoyed it. The professor has a system where you can go at your own pace. The exams are 70% of your grade, and the professor uses HonorLock, which is not my favorite. Many study plans and practice tests help you prepare for the exams.

Great teacher, exams are pretty much what are on the reviews (which she goes over in class). Very kind and understanding.

Dr. Roberts is a happy professor who is always willing to help anyone. Her lectures were easy to understand, and she would even sit down and work with you in class to ensure you understood the material. She would even email you the notes for lectures that you missed. Make sure you do your assignments on time via Pearson she does not take late work.
