i love this teacher!!! shes very nice and she always say AHHHHHHHH!!!! hahaha ok u guys better or have this teacher if u dont wanna fail anatomy!!
Thanh Thuy Bui, MD. Is a young teacher but has great knowledge. She has structure lacks organization. The best part was that she has X-credit and can be flexible in terms of testing material. She can be hard if you do not read the book, because she does not go completely by the study guide. Take her if your are serious about studying. GOOD LUCK :)
This teacher cares that u pass, so she will spend Xtra time with u if u need it....Very sweet and funny. She will keep u AWAKE with her random AHHHHH.I recommend if u wanna pass Anatomy.
She is a nice instructor. However she is not organized. The best thing about her is that she's not that strict. If you wanna take her class... you gotta love reading books... thats the ONLY way to pass her class.
New teacher, not organized. I have a hard time and she is NOT helpful at all. NO X CREDIT!!! I could not even recommend her class to my dog.
She is very nice but a little clueless. She takes for granted that she already knows the info. There is no leadership and unfortunately very hypocritical. I would not suggest her to anyone I like.
She has her M.D.
welll.. thats hwe fav word.. she is good but she needs to brush her teaching skills. if she does that she is a great teacher..but it gets hard at times.. study ur tests off the book. cuz her lecture notes dont help that much..
DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER!Worst teacher I ever had!
not very clear and changes her mind on things. she's not approachable and makes it seem like it's your fault when you don't understand things. she'll look at the class like everyone's an idiot and then go "hellllloooo". overall, rude and not helpful
Unhelpful
she is a really good teacher, very helpfull, kind, nice, but the course is hard, so it is up to you to study to pass the class. She'll help you if she sees your interest in the class, don't blame on her if you fail!!!!!
NURSING MAJORS manage your time! Prof. Bui doesn't make anatomy harder than it has to be. The material is straight forward but takes time to absorb!! The low ratings are from angry failed students. Bui's Help/Clarity/Interest is great! But the easiness depends on time management. She is a excellent teacher because you actually do learn ALOT!
She's an okay professor. She knows her stuff since she's an actual doctor, but she needs to refine her teaching skills. She sometimes goes off topic...and is unorganized at times...but other wise...she's cool, helpful. The class is tough itself, so be prepared to study...
well folks , this is Anatomy so of course you will need to study A WHOLE LOT! consider this class as two classes combined. her lectures is pretty interesting , fast and straight to the point. but do not rely on her lectures only , you need to Read the book. the more time you spend studying for this class, the better grade you will get. thats all.
I got an A(",) because i dont sleep at night gotta read the book..,for you have no i idea whats gonna pop on the test, so READ THE BOOK! However, I RECOMMED thiz teacher because first, shes the best among the rest, and you'll leArn alot of things about the human anatomy and some things about the medical field. Dr. Bui is kind, helpful, and knowledg
she was wonderful and extremely helpful in my learnings. best of the best.
I recommend Prof Bui to all my friends. She is absolutely a good educator. she knows her stuff and she is very helpful. she is friendly and nice. She will tell you honestly your standing in class.
She is not the kind of teacher that will help you to be success. I took her last Fall 06' and I tried everything to pass. I studied 42hrs a week & I was optimist that I could pass. However, when I thought that I am going to pass her class and she gave me a 69% in my Grade. I still failed me instead of giving extra 1 point to pass her class.
Dr.Bui is really nice and her lectures is not boring at all. However her exams are very hard, but if you read the book i dont think you will have problems. Her lab test is not hard. I recommend you to take pictures of the model and take notes of the names of the parts. Its really helpful.Godluck! love, angga
Dr. Bui is very congenial, however just an average Professor. Lab is self taught, you did everything on your own. Not helpful. Her lecture tests were from the book and the lecture. You must read the book. Lab tests you must be good at memorizing and must study to pass. Homework was minimal but not helpful. I don't she is a very good Professor.
Dr. Bui is nice and helpefull but you study mostly on your own, specially on her labs. She is there but it's all up to you. You need a very good memory for the lab tests and just read as much as you can the book for exams which are not very difficult.
Ms. Bui is a really sweet woman but her tests are hella hard so you have to read that book or else you are screwed. Physiology is just hard period so I don't think that there is much she can do for you if you aren't willing to study. So overall if you are willing to read then she is the perfect teacher for you
She is well organized as far as her lectures go. Her notes are both easy to understand and helpful when reading each chapters. Labs are done in groups instead of being paired up with a lab partner. I. Lecture tests are ok and so are the lab tests. So far I am passing her class.
That class is tough by definition. It requires a lot of personal study time, and she is fair game because that is one of the first things she would tell her students. Homeworks do help and can be considered as the "so demanded" Xpoints. Handouts and reading the book are essential. I found her very organized and efficient as a teacher, and very nice
she always sidestrack in the middle of lecture and talks about an irrelevant story with a student while the whole class just sits there with blank looks on their face wondering why the hell she would stop in the middle of lecture to talk nonsense. She does it at least 3 times each lecture and its getting annoying as i often lose my chain of thought
Dr. Bui is the worst teacher I have ever taken, her exams vary from being extremely difficult to fair. You will have to study really hard just to get a passing grade (C) in her class. I heard that she teaches anatomy a lot better than she teaches physiology. I am a straight A student and definetly would not recommend that you take her!!!
I got a C on the first lecture test. Then I changed my strategy and started getting A's & B's. On the syllabus, make sure you study all those chapters she gives to you. For the lecture, she gives you a handout for all the chapters to read. You don't have to read the whole chapter. Only read the topics that she lists . And also review the figures an
[Time to boost up your reputation] She's not so bad. The people who are angry are the one who don't study. Class is hard, agree..., but the answers are right in front of you; just have to open your notes and book. This class isn't for the lazy ones. To the competitive students, dare to take the "Dr. Bui's Test" challenge.
Dr. Bui is awesome. She gives great notes that are a guide to study for her exams. You MUST READ the chapters to really grasp that A or B!! Her added sidenotes and light humor really do add to lecture and her background as a med student make class very interesting. If you show her honest respect she will extend herself for anyone. THANK YOU Dr. BUI
Dr. Bui is an excellent professor. Extremely knowlegable and more than willing to help!! Dr. Bui provides a 'very' useful outline for each of the chapters..go to class!! And reading the text is a must if you want the A. I highly recommend this professor!
I really liked her.
Very nice teacher, who has a lot of knowledge as a doctor. Her class is very difficult, don't expect to have days off. I studie a lot and finally got a high B. I recomend her class because you will learn a lot. Thanks Dr Bui :)
Dr. Bui is the best science teacher at elco. I wish she had been teaching when i took anat & physiology. She knows her stuff!!! she is a great help in the lab. i think the evil people that gave her bad ratings were expecting an easy A...you have to actually read for microbiology! the labs are fun, especially the unknowns( i found mine!!!) yay
Dr. Bui is tough but you will really know your stuff when you finish her class...she is extremely helpful and approachable all you have to do is ask. If you are going into nursing I highly recommend her classes to prepare you for the RN program.
Dr. Bui is very straight forward because she knows her stuff. HONESTLY, anyone says that she is a bad teacher should not even be in school. if you cant handle her then what makes you think you are going to be succesful in your major. just study hard and you will pass.
To begin with, any anatomy class is going to be difficult! I liked Dr. Bui-she is very nice and understanding on many levels. All of the exams are difficult. She tries to trick you on the lecture exams, which just irritated me because the class is hard enough. The labs were hard, especially the cat. study study! you have to put in effort..lots!
Anatomy is a very hard class, but on the other hand it is very interesting. Dr. Bui made sure that her students got everything they needed out of the class to do well. She is fun to talk to and is very knowledgeable. If you pass the class with a c, you did pretty well. Stick it out, study, and go to lab and you will succeed.
The Class is hard and it isn't organized as well as i would have liked it to be. Teacher doesn't teach in a way that I learn. teacher lectures and then says look at the models and thats it.
I was interested in the subject at first, but i don't like anatomy after taking her. She gives too much work for a summer course, isn't specific on what is essential to learn for the exam and doesn't help much. Expect 80+ questions on the lecture exam and 40+ on her quizes. She usually smiles and jumps around if people drop out.
Thanks Dr. Bui, she is a wonderful teacher. She is very knowlegdable, helpful, and easy to talk to. The exam is really hard, including 80 Q multipelchoices, 10T/F, 10 matching, and 3 short answers. Study her handouts, read your book, stick with the class, study group, then you can get B. if you have troubles, try to talk to her she will help you.
Prof. Bui was great I took her in the fall 09. You have to come prepared to class read the chapter, study the notes and some of the tests and labs are a little tricky. but overall I think her grading is fair. Attending the labs are the best way to prepare and find a study group.
Bad teacher, and she is mean. Not helpful and she does not have an ethical manners to help out students if they are struggling.
She is awesome! I was traumatized of Physio thanks to another prof. but she completely changed my mind. She extremely helpful, sticks to her sylallbus 98%,test are tough but i have passed most test w/o even reading chap's thanks to her amazing HANDOUTS! Goes over labs with da class, n lab exams r concept base. Early 2 dis class evrydy =) TAKE HER!
generally anatomy is a hard class, dr. bui is awesome in helping relay the material to us as students, she is petite and spunky and has her own sense of humor, i made the mistake of taking two lab classes this semester with this and chem 21A, be sure to make time out of class to study or you will do poorly, get a study group srsly
Good teacher, but do not take too much classes when ur taking anatomy, i'm getting a B right now because of that but that my change depending on my final. Shes really helpful and most importantly she could teach unlike some
I love Dr. Bui! She's straightforward with what she's looking for. If you want an A you need to read the book and memorize everything on her outlines for exams and all models for practical. Her outlines are super helpful. She's funny and friendly once you get to know her. She's very reasonable and will help if you just ask. Textbook is necessary.
I LOVE DR BUI!!!!!!!!! SHE ROCKS MY VIETNAMESE WORLD!!!!!! make sure you read the book and talk to the teacher! she will help you all your questions
She's a very nice, intelligent person with a good sense of humor. Overall she's a good instructor and is helpful if you ask. Tests and practicums can be unnecessarily tricky which is frustrating. However, her grading is very fair. Be proactive and self-motivated and you'll be fine. Double check all graded tests and don't be afraid to ask questions.
Cool, funny, crazy.
Took over the 2010 SUMMER very interesting class Teacher has a very odd humor you will get over start to understand over the class Test in class are quite tricky if u dont understand material especially her T/F questions when in doubt its False Uhh over all teacher is a good teacher stay on top of material learned and you will pass
Dr. Bui has a good sense of humor, not an odd one! She's really nice but watch out for those tests! She's good for physio too!
This is a very difficult class but I was very impressed with Dr. Bui's flexibility and willingness to help this semister! She really willing to listen to her student's suggestions which is very refreshing! I've heard rumors that she's better for Anatomy but I had her last summer for Anatomy...equally good for both. STUDY, LISTEN, READ, and RELAX.
Bui is awesome! Great personality, smart, helpful, and occasionally merciful. :)You can't get an A if you don't come to class, read the book, & spend at least a little bit of every day studying. For students headed for healthcare industry, be grateful she is hard on you. Take your time and learn it right. She is great at answering q's. Funny 2!
Most challenging class I've taken to date. She's very helpful when she wants to, as long as the question wasn't asked too many times. She is very nice and she does that AHH!!! a lot. I've spent about 250+ studying for this class. This class is purely memorization for lecture & practi****exams. So plz dont register if you plan to just take up space.
Be prepared for a challenge! Anatomy is hard enough. I have to admit her passion for teaching balances things out because though her exams are very difficult she is an AWESOME teacher. hard to hear her at first, but used to it. have PLENTY of study time for labs and at home set aside.if you survive her class you can so Physio with her to!
Dr. Bui has her MD. She is able to give you perspective on things that no other professors at ECC can give. You will learn more than you thought you could in her class. Her class is hard. Her tests are tricky. But in the end, you will be thankful that you took her class. You will be a better prepared person and student for it.
An amazing teacher whose class can be a tad difficult but Physiology isn't exactly an easy subject. She is extremely helpful if necessary, and knows all students by name and genuinely wants everyone to excel. You will need to work for your grade but the trip there will be a learning experience
Beyond hard but it's Physiology. It's not exactly a cake walk. Study hard, ask questions, and study some more. And study more afterwards. This is not a class for the lazy, or for those looking for shortcuts. Dr. Bui is extremely fair and helpful, but she will NOT hold your hand.
yeah, her class is a bit difficult but well worth it if you are willing to work hard & study. If you are pursuing a career in the medical field/nursing, definitely take her for both anat+phys...you'll learn so much. Offers some extra credit but HW points (which adds up to about 150 pts) def. help your grade, so an A is not entirely impossible! :)
Read the book. Seriously, you have to read the book. It doesn't matter which edition (4th, 5th or 6th in my case) buy it used online and save $$$. Also didn't need PhysioEx Lab(shared login info w/ lab partner) Also, come early on 1st day to get a seat in front she is very difficult to hear. But seriously, plan on reading the entire book for once.
Her class is really cool I wish I would of took it serious from the beginning but in the long run I leaned a lot and will take her for physiology
Pros: Very knowledgable about Physio. Quizzes are fairly easy. Everything on exams is on her lecture notes. Cons: Irritable (don't know when she's in a good mood or bad). Patient with some students and not with others. Not very helpful overall.
I don't think she enjoys teaching. Test questions are tricky (and misspelled) even if you know the material. The Respiratory system is the most difficult. Impossible to hear if youre in the back. Can only see your quizzes/tests during office hrs which is really annoying and makes it difficult to know how you're doing, and what you need to study.boo
IF YOU DO NOT HAVE TIME TO STUDY THINK TWICE ABOUT YOUR MAJOR ! Dr. Bui is amazing. She is a tough teacher. If you do not know how to study this class really teaches you how. Gives everything to you that you need to know. No extra Credit but hw is easy points.... Study everything she gives you and youll be fine.
Be prepared to study, Dr. Buis material for the tests is mostly in her handouts, although you will need the book for clarity. Dr. Bui is fair, and relates the material to real life situations. She is funny and relieves any inertia that develops in the class because the material can be tedious. I highly recommend her for Anatomy.
Talks fast, no explanation, no hands on lab in this lab class
Dr. Bui is very nice, but it doesn't seem like she enjoys teaching. Her tests are very hard and tricky. It feels like she is setting you up to fail. NO extra credit, so you can't redeem yourself in any way. What you get is what you get. She makes it as hard as possible. She always manages to slip something into a test that she never taught.
This my first time taking a class with this instructor and i just did my first quiz. I don't like that she tests on materials that she did not teach you! I am a hand on learner specially in lab but she tests on labs that she has not cover. She calls it pre-test but I am really concerned reading how she does not give extra credit a
This class made for the third time that I have had Dr. Bui. I also had her for Anat32 and Physio31. Dr. Bui is not a "easy" professor however, she is fair and she makes sure you understand the material. Also, she makes it very clear that reading the text is necessary but does provide typed notes, just as she did for anatomy and physiology.
She's very knowledgeable and can explain the content well. She's quirky! I hope you're up for the challenge!
She doesn't teach this subject! Just hands you the notes and it's all up to you to learn the material. Not my kind of teacher. She is a nice lady though
Bui is a great Anatomy professor who gets straight to the point. She provides a lecture packet so you don't need the book. That packet is your guide to her tests - no surprises and no doubts! As long as you study the lecture packet you'll definitely be in A or B range. It is a LOT to study, like any anatomy class, but definitely possible.
Dr. Bui is very intelligent. She is a passionate teacher that prints out lecture notes and you need to follow along and fill in the blanks. Microbiology is not an easy class. You must read the book to understand plus memorize a bunch of terms. Her exams are somewhat easy and somewhat hard. Reminds me of an NCLEX exam. Go to class and keep up.
Very tough class because there's so much content involved. The lectures are easy to follow because of her notes. Very lenient and fair grader, you never feel like you don't deserve your grade. The content isn't complicated, it's just a lot to memorize. Great prep class if you're pursuing health careers. Teaches you to study.
If you want a laid-back class, DO NOT TAKE HER. Get ready to study hard because you will really need it. You have to allot long hours of studying. She's a tough grader.
dr. bui is an amazing professor. she has a medical degree so you get a different perspective on the subject as well. physiology is a tough subject no matter what professor so make sure to put a lot of effort into it. study hard, read the book and review her notes A LOT!!
Dr. Bui is great & straightforward! She takes the time to print out all of her lecture packets so you have a base to understand from & use the textbook if you don't get something. Quizzes are fairly easy. Exams are tough, READ THE TEXTBOOK & understand the bigger picture as well as be able to connect everything. She brings donuts for finals )
She's a passionate and great teacher. Gives you the notes already made, you just have to fill it in while she is lecturing. Very helpful and nice. You MUST study ahead of the time for the exams. There's just so much material-a lot of conceptual- that cramming won't help.
Really tough, makes the course as hard as possible. Homework on stuff she hasn't lectured on yet, takes points every silly thing she can, complete nightmare. Get ready to study 4-5 hrs a day and still scrape up for a B or C. No extra credit!
My biggest regret was taking this professor. Her lectures are very inconsistent with the exams. Tests on topics that she does not even cover at all in her lectures and really goes out of her way to be tricky in her exams. She does not explain things throughly when you are confused so I cannot rely on her.
Microbiology is a 5 unit class so you know that it has a lot of material to cover. Bui does her best to explain the topic and gives you a fill in lecture notes. However these notes are not enough for the lecture exams but they are good for the lecture quizzes. You have lab prequizzes almost every class prior to lab. She is fair but topic tough
My biggest regret in life was having this professor. She is a nice woman but a terrible instructor. She begs for questions & then gets mad at students who ask them. Our entire class was failing yet she sees no issue with her teaching at all. 6 ch's were in the final. We began and ended the lecture a week prior to the final. A quiz or test everyday.
She gives out lecture notes for each chapter which her quizzes are based on fairly easy if you study them. Her lecture exams are very tricky! So read the book bc sometimes questions are not in her lecture guides. Easy homework/lab assignments which are pretty much exactly what you will see in lab exams. Attendance points given, very Sweet teacher
One of the BEST Profs I have ever taken & I got my BS degree from UCD. Took Ant33 with her too & got an A. Don't listen to people who say she's hard. Gives lecture packet & goes over before exams, tells you which part will be M/C, T/F, short answer, matching. Lecture/Quiz straight from packet. A/B with studying. Brings donuts on final! TAKE HER!!!
Absolutely great Professor. She lecures out of a packet and gives you the exact version with spaces to fill out so it's great for the memory! Anatomy is a hard subject so it is expected to read over your notes vigourously if you want to succeed. There are tests (more like quizzes), exams and practicals each harder than the last so study study study
The lecture notes are detailed, and the quizzes and tests are mostly on the notes. Its a good idea to have the textbook to read through too. Its Microbiology... so tests are difficult, labs are lengthy, and you have to study to pass the class. But Professor Bui does everything to help you with that. Go to class. Study. Read the book.
great professor. She gives all the lecture notes(summary of each chapter). Her lectures are easy to "understand," but very hard to "learn" the concepts when studying for the exams because physiology itself is a very hard subject. Prepare yourself to read the entire textbook.
She is an amazing teacher. Had her for Anatomy, Physiology and Microbiology and she has taught me more than I could ever hope to attain. Shes a very lecture heavy teacher but is very direct and thorough with the information in all of her note packets. With that and reading the books you will do well in her class. Easily the best teacher ever!!!!!!
Professor Bui was my favorite science teacher out of all the science's I have taken. She provides you with notes you print out and fill in during class time, they contain very helpful picture and graphs. Also, everything that's going to be on the test is straight from the notes, it's a lot of work to study all of it but you'll see the best results.
Took Dr. Bui in the winter was terrified at first but with time you realize the class is not so bad. She provides you with notes you fill out while she lectures. That packet of notes will be your bestf everything on the test is in the notes!! You just have to study them. I would definitely take her for any other courses she teaches!!
4 lecture exams & 2 lab practicums, very difficult if you don't study. Lab quizzes almost daily, but they're easy if you read it ahead of time. Never leave any answers blank, she tries to give you points if you try. Left class early an hour every time, if your group finishes the lab. She keeps lectures concise! Recommended if you put in the effort.
A great prof, she cares about student's performances. Her tests are not as easy as her lectures seem to be. Be sure to read the txt book if you want to understand her notes. The quizzes for the chapter help you review for the exam.
It is true she gives packets for note talking for each section, then lectures and tests from those packets. However, there is a huge amount of material to learn with limited time to learn it. She hates repeating herself and yells at students for not understanding concepts or giving the wrong answers. Only about 1/3 of class did not drop by the end.
Post-Covid19, she is not understanding at all, she will say it is because she is not tech-savvy. You are basically teaching yourself NO GUIDANCE. She will email you with things you have done wrong very condescending. She will only give you 20 MINUTES for 20 QUESTIONS which is not enough time for an anatomy quiz. I suggest taking someone else.
Terrible teacher. Says shes not computer savvy so your pretty much on your own. You have to teach your self everything. Shes not specific at all with the labs. The tests are the worst 30 questions but have 25 mins to take the test.
There was no guidance. It was a difficult class and taking it in the winter made it even more difficult because it was fast paced. There was no lecture everything is self taught. Professor claims not to be tech savvy so good luck. 25 minutes for 30 questions. Study your notes.
I took this class for winter 2021 semester and it was very unorganized. She claims she isnt computer savvy, gives 25 mins to take a 30 minute exam, and gives HW feedback very condescendingly. Without the help from study my study group, I probably wouldve failed. The Majority of the class dropped the course. Do not take this professor. Run!!!
Hard class. She is not tech savvy so we pretty much taught ourselves. So much information to learn.
wouldn't recommend taking it online with her. she grades tough, and pretty much you're teaching yourself
The professors class isn't the easiest you have to work very hard if you want a good grade. The class consist of lecture a break then a quiz on every class meeting the quiz helps you prepare for the lab portion of the class. Despite her class being difficult she cares about her students and helps you study a week before each exam.
While I agree that it is a self-taught class, it'll be an accurate representation of higher level education, I'm sorry. All of the class material is located on that study guide, you memorize that thing by heart and fill in the gaps with textbook. But the holy grail IS the study guide. Pre-health and Pre-med people you guys got this !!!
1 minute per question. spelling check. I would recommend taking a different Professor. Otherwise, good luck
Took her for anatomy in the winter. don't recommend. She is disorganized, lecture heavy and you're teaching yourself. Out of 36 students only 12 of us stayed, everybody else dropped. I recommend taking another professor.
Took the class in winter 2023. Out of the 36 we started with, 12 of us stuck it out and survived. It was extremely hard, however she is a fair grader. She will make you work for it, but it is doable. She has almost no homework, but makes your grade more dependent on your test scores. Would take again but not in a condensed 4 week science course.
You are basically teaching yourself in this class..
Professor Bui is ridiculously funny. I loved her class. She provides notes that are the holy grail to your studying for her class. Study her notes and refer to the textbook/YouTube for anything you might not understand and you'll get a good grade. Lab manual grading is based on completion and having everything labeled, but I mean everything!
Professor Bui is horrible! She expects students to learn material in a blink of an eye. Quizzes every class meeting. Very sarcastic when it comes to answering students questions. Class environment is negative. Wouldn't recommend taking her course.
She is a nice professor and caring but her tests are very hard. She den give a study guide, just memorize we lectures high are very long. For her lecture exams she makes them written and it has to be correct vocabulary. Her lab exams are written as well which makes a hard course even harder.
Bui's class is rigorous. There's tests and quizzes normally every day of lecture, and you only have so many days to study for them. She will give you the materials you need but you need to put MANY hours of time studying outside of class to succeed. Exams will cover hundreds of topics. The difficulty guarantees you will learn if you put the time in
She is not a good instructor, but a good show-off person instead. Her teaching way is showing off to the students that she is a genius at studying. To get a good grade at her classes, you have to not only understand all of the textbook, but also be an expert in the subject Good luck to ones who have to take her classes
The quizzes are all short answer and the exams will be as well, she also said the multiply choice in her exams are going to be harder than the short answer. Like in previous post you do have to be an expert in this class. Her lectures are very boring and very hard to understand due to her face mask and microphone she carries.
Terrible professor. Do not recommend if you studying and have a job in the same time. The professor is kind and helpful BUT she does not know how to organized her lecture note. This is one of the hard-core class but it not too bad if the professor make it more challenging. Heavy lectures and have SHORT ANSWER quizzes all the time.
Dr Bui is a great professor but the class was definitely tough. As long as you study the study guides she gives and dedicate MANY hrs to studying it you will be fine.
Dont take this teacher unless you only have one class and it is this one she wants you to know everything on the top of your head everyone but two ppl dropped her class in my class wants us to study day and night and her test and exams are nothing like the notes she gives us honestly I felt like she didn't want us to pass.
It takes a while to understand her because she uses a microphone & speaker for class but the lecture notes are very useful. There wasn't any experiments we did so most points come from the written exams and practical exams. If a majority gets something wrong she'll take off the question. Towards the end she was very helpful and wanted class to pass
This is a rigorous class, with frequent quizzes and exams covering a ton of material. The professor isn't the most organized, but using Unstuck AI along with the textbook can really help you stay on top of the workload.
All of her quizzes are short answers and her tests are difficult. Her lecture notes are unorganized and it is hard to understand her lecture because her face mask and mic.
Rude teacher! Before the lab begins, she goes the instructions all at ones and expects you to remember what she said during the lab. Even if you ask questions during the lab or after she's done explaining, she will give sarcastic annoyed vibe when answering. Through out her class, she will make you feel scared to ask her questions.
definitely a teacher who wants you to learn. Anatomy is not an easy subject in general but you really need time throughout your day to study for this class. She has many quizzes and many lecture exams and there are about 5 lab exams where you have to name the parts of the body.lectures for about 2hrs and then the rest is lab and studying.
Her class was tough but doable. Her Labs are your lifeline, make sure to memorize everything and you will be good. If she see's students got the same questions wrong, she will not count it and give extra points. quizzes are short answers and exams are multiple choice with max 5 short answers. Print her notes, follow along and then memorize everything
Her teaching style is good. Just come to class and take notes quiz and exam questions are based on the notes. The lab is easy just study the models; study w the models in the library that helped. Quiz is 10 short answer questions; lecture exam contains 4 chapters 60 questions study days before the exam, practice questions with chat gpt. she's good.
