I enjoyed the class. You have to do a lot of reading in this class. You must take notes and be prepared for a quiz every Tuesday. My favorite assignment was the cube assignment. She made the class fun, although at times i was ready to go. I would like to take another class from her in the future.

She said from the start that you did not have to be a genius to do well in the class. She gives daily quizzes that are useful (5 points per day in 1st 5 minutes so if you are late or miss class you lose 5 per day

Thea Boyer's classes, while tough, are very fair. She tests us on our readings, and our lectures always hold relevance in our personal lives. Her assignments are usually simple, but require much work placed into them. If you do the work, you've earned your grade.

You have to take tons of notes! Each chapter of the book is discussed and every week a chapter's worth of notes is due. If you make sure you have this done the class is a breeze! Mrs. Boyer is funny and keeps you engaged. Over all very neat class and I learned a lot.

Mrs. Boyer is a fantastic teacher. The class is very reading heavy, which she tells you at the beginning of the semester. Stay on top of the reading and take notes for the chapters and lectures and you'll do fine. Mrs. Boyer is incredibly helpful and kind, I would definitely take her again.

TONS of reading and note taking of the book. For quizzes they are open book and you're better off just taking notes on figures and definitions as well as the titles.

Mrs. Boyer gives pop quizzes often and (duh) without warning, so you MUST read the chapters assigned or you will not do well. Interviews are important. She's a pretty reasonable professor. She doesn't take excuses unless it's something serious.

Mrs. Boyer is really cool. She has so many stories to tell that if you bring something up she will have another story and you can go on and on telling stories (this way you don't have to present those interviews) which btw are a pain at first but you get used to them.

The class was challenging and extremely reading intense. Grading was clear cut and assignments weren't horrible.

There's a lot of reading and note-taking for this class, but Professor Boyer's class lectures and presentations are very clear, and the science of psychology itself is so cool that it'd be hard to screw it up. Don't skip classes if you can help it--every quiz grade and class note page counts.

Mrs. Boyer is an awesome instructor. The classes pretty much fly by because while the material can get a little boring the instructor makes it interesting with real world examples.

The one thing I appreciated most about taking Boyer's class was how clear everything was (grading, assignments, her expectations, etc.) It's crucial for you to stay on top of reading, note taking, and attendance to pass her class so you are held completely accountable for your own success, which I like.

She is a very nice teacher. She will encourage you to think outside the box. You do have to read alot in this course. She wants you to succeed! Virtual child paper is the only bad part about this class.

Ms. Boyer can seem a little tough at first, but that may have just been the online setting. In the end, I loved the class. Her assignments were clear and easy to follow. There was one extra credit opportunity which was super easy. As long as you follow the instructions you get good grades. I would recommend her class.

Mrs. Boyer is really an excellent teacher. I've taken 3 courses with her and they have all been great. Mrs. B will do all she can to help her students, and she clearly outlines what you need to do to get a good grade in her class. Don't believe the few bad reviews she has on here. Obviously those students were upset with the bad grades they earned.
