She was extremely helpful. I took her Intro to Psychology, and am now in her LifeSpan class because I loved her so much! She's so helpful, and nice, and wants you to get an A. Just do her study guides, they really help. HIGHLY recommend!

She is a good teacher, but had a lot of guest speakers. She wants you to get an A and loves what she does. Her class is fun is there is a lot of participation, if not, the class is a little more boring. The video clips and ppts are very helpful. Do the study guides!

Dr. Nutt is unquestionably the best teacher I have ever had. She is brilliant, sweet, and really enjoys what she does. Definitely one of the professors that you will remember most after you graduate.

Dr. Nutt has got to be one of the coolest professors ever. love her cute southern accent and her outfits. great at teaching and gives clear examples. her tests are really tricky. you always get stuck between two and the best way to make an A is to know the chapters front and back. Critical thinking essays are an easy way to bring up your grade!

Shes is sooo cool and fun i loved her! Do the extra credit and especially do the critical thinkings because they will make a huge difference! Take notes and you NEED to read the chapters Thoroughly or else you wont get a good grade.

Generally an easy class, but the content is very interesting. Not too many assignments and you can have some leeway over your project. Teacher is very nice and helpful.

Dr. Nutt is one of my favorite professors. She was always helpful throughout the semester and passionate about the subject matter. Keep in mind this is not a "blow off" class though! I would recommend her to anybody.

One of the best professors I have ever had! She is very sweet and a lot of fun to listen to. She relates the power points to real life examples so you get a better understanding. Course work is easy. Exams are challenging but if you study you'll do fine! She has the cutest accent and great style. I would recommend you take her class.

Great teacher! Tough class, but very interesting. I would highly recommend taking her class if you plan on majoring in psych or mental health. She gives tons of real world examples and demonsrations in class. MUST go to class and MUST read book!

Ridiculous amount of reading, which would be fine if I didn't have to focus on memorizing every statistic to pass a 75 question exam covering 200 pages of facts. Why are we focusing on statistical numbers instead of the subject matter? Her reviews aren't helpful.Wouldn't recommend if you plan to learn anything, or get a good grade for that matter.

She is such a sweet and funny lady! I loved her class however you do have to work for your grade. Study for the tests in advance since they cover information on several chapters. She has one major project which was easier than i thought to complete. Hoping to take another class with her :)

Took this class online during the Summer. It was tough with a heavy workload. The only thing that saved me was googling the questions, because the tests was HARD. The term project was easy, not sure she took the time to read through them all so don't waste your time with lengthy answers like she says to do so in the syllabus.

I love Dr. Nutt and recommend her to anyone taking intro to psych. She's very knowledgeable and willing to help you find your place in the field (if you plan on pursuing it). You MUST read the book. But overall, WONDERFUL teacher. I still email her with psych questions even though I've transferred schools.

Great lectures. Reviews are vague and the tests aren't basic rote memory questions so you have to REALLY know your stuff going into a test. Project was easy, homework is easy. getting an A is doable, you just have to study. She also cares about you as an individual and can read you like a book if something is "off" about you that day. Sweet lady

She's an awesome teacher, but you HAVE to study for the test. Not a day before, but a week before. Other than that she's fun, and her lectures are not boring. The project I literally read the book, wrote the report the day before. I got a 100! I don't think she reads them a lot, but she's awesome I really recommend her.

She's a great professor. Tests are 55 multiple choice but you can omit 5. One project worth 50 points. And the critical thinking assignments (do all 14). Tests are easy if you study. She posts reviews on BB but doesn't tell you. Print reviews and take notes based off those.

Online class. Very organized. Sticks to syllabus and no surprises so easy to plan around. Gives two chances to take tests. Drops lowest grade. Lots of reading. Power points not always relevant for the online class. I quit the Power Point stuff and just read the book, but video links helpful and sometimes funny. Dr Nutt cares about her students tho.

Dr. Nutt is amazing! She has a great sense of humor & she loves what she does. She is very clear about what she wants. I love her teaching style, she does fun activities, exercises with you, and she is ALWAYS there to help. Tests are easy if you study, but don't expect her to understand if you have to miss a day, she will count it unexcused.

45 exams count. 1014 critical thinking papers (3 paragraphs )count. Choose between, at least, 5 pg paper over a book or a kindness project also 5 pg min. Loved her class but it was a little tough. She gives reviews but if you don't take good notes the review is point less. I did use the book during the kindness project because I had to cite

i have studied my butt off and cant seem to pass her tests. Didnt tell anyone about her exam reviews online, i found them after the second exam (which i bombed). Her reviews arent helpfull at all. so many terms i studied on the review that i never saw mentioned on the exam. ugh

if you learn well by reading, then her online class is for you. she does drop lowest grades which is a plus, the con is she did not reply to her email. she is very clear about what she wants and there was no DB.

Great professor, you must read. As long as you read/study you will pass. Very clear on expectations and assignments. When you have questions, she is fantastic as response (within 1 day or less). As mentioned above, the tests are tough, but as long as you read and learn the material you will pass.

80 questions in 55 minutes are how her tests are and has questions from lecture, guest speakers, PowerPoint, textbook, and Youtube. Many handouts, but you honestly only need the chapter outline to pass the tests and a good understanding of the material covered in lecture. Make sure to be diligent with your homework assignments. Do the extra credit

Amazing teacher. She was very helpful and her lectures were so fun. I looked forward to coming to this class every morning and I loved every second of it. Her tests are hard though. You need to pay attention in class and definitley study her power points and notes. Other than that, her class was a blast.

She is hilarious and makes class fun. Her lectures are short and sometimes hurried. Be prepared to do a lot of reading and studying. All exams are 80 questions but you're able to omit 5. The chapter summaries and handouts was the best strategy for me to pass her exams. One internet assignment and term project. Reading is a must to pass!

This was a great class. I really enjoyed professor Nutt. She was easy going! I loved that she gave students the opportunity for extra credit. The chapter summary reviews are the best way to get a good score on tests. If you don't do well, it's because you simply didn't try.

MAYMESTER COURSE: LOVED IT! Wish I couldve taken her full time. Enjoyed class so much. 8am, 4 hr class, but never felt it. Learned a lot and felt like i wasn't even learning. If you study what she focus's on the ppt then youll do well. Im not super smart but idk how anyone made a B or C on tests. She was very clear and informative. BEST CLASS EVER!

Requires lots of reading with quizes over each chapter and tests over each Unit. Final is cumulative. Responds to emails and will answer questions.

I wouldn't take her class again just because I didn't enjoy the lectures. She's a great teacher and sweet person, but she doesn't lecture well. Her sense of humor and strong accent can be annoying. If you can get past that, she's awesome! Very upfront about expectations, loves to assist students, offers tons of extra credit, and bring snacks.

Online class was self explanatory, do the work and read your chapters you will do well. She gives you two opportunities to take quizzes and exams and drops lowest exam. She wants you to learn and not BS the class, just read and you'll do well. I'd take her again.

She is very funny and her personality makes class time fly by. We have 4 exams and one final and the lowest gets dropped. The exams are pretty hard but take notes and study them and it isn't too bad! We also do in class Critical thinking assignments. They are short and easy! She has every test review in BB from day 1. She is an amazing teacher!

i think the reason some students think her tests are hard is because they require you to have an understanding of the material i studied from the reviews and made Bs on her exams you will need the book (i skimmed it) it helps she's strict w/her no cell phone policy so abide by it and you get EC on tests come to class pay attention you'll do fine

I took the 8 wk online course. There were 3-4 QUIZZES each WEEK with a comprehensive TEST over the reading material each MONDAY, due at 11:00 pm. There was a term project that was tedious but easy. It was a detailed reflection of your life-span. I just read the book the information in BB wasn't useful to me. 16 Quizzes, Term project, and 6 Test

Dr. Nutt was the best. She tells you what she expects and what is going to be due the first week of class. As long as you take time and read the chapters, listen to her lectures, and take notes you will pass. She helps when trying to understand what goes on in the brain, which is her favorite. I highly recommend her.

Awesome professor!! She's super nice. Lecture heavy but very informative. Take notes they'll be very helpful!! The book helps you study and do better on test but her power points are available to you. Test aren't hard unless you don't study. You get prizes for answering her questions, great motivation to pay attention lol. 10/10 recommend.

Easy A for online class.

You HAVE to read the book if you are taking this class online! They record you through webcam and microphone during your exams so you can't use any notes or book! It's a very hard class if you don't read! I regret taking this class online!

I took the online Life Span class. There's not much online home work, one quiz due once a week. But you're required to buy a program. DO THE CHAPTER REVIEWS. It's necessary for tests; something I had wished I knew before taking my first one. Uses ProctorU for every test.

Takes time to explain things that are misunderstood. Also, tries to make learning fun by incorporating class/ group activities. Grades critically but I'll retake her classes again.

This class was very self explanatory and easy to understand. Weekly quizzes are open book with two attempts on each one. Tests cover 3-4 chapters at a time and are easy to pass if you read the book, two attempts for each test as well. She also makes outlines for each chapter. 6 exams, lowest one is dropped. Only one major power point project. Easy!

Great online class for summer semester. 16 quizzes, 6 exams, and a term project which all you do is put pictures of your life on a power point. All answers are on quizlet for every quiz and exam even the final! Easiest A

Dr. Nutt is very clear on her expectations at the beginning of the semester. She keeps lecture interesting and has special speakers in class. You will be expected to do a project due by midterm but it is interesting. I highly recommend Dr. Nutt for this class.

Dr. Nutt, was a wonderful professor; I thoroughly enjoyed her class. She explained the course and her expectations; she set easy to follow goals and allowed for Q&A. You worked for your grade but grading guidelines were fair.

Dr. Nutt is an excellent teacher; her lectures are interesting, easy to follow, and nicely paced. There's a bit of note-taking but not anything ridiculous, plus she puts all her slides on blackboard so if you missed something, you can find it easily. Her tests are based off her slides so as long as you read your notes, you'll ace them all.

There is five exams to take. A paper to write and 14 critical thinking assignments to do in class as soon as class starts. She will not round up or give extra credit. She brings interesting topics in class and her examples are great. Engages with students and cares for them genuinely. She is also in private practice so she knows her material.

Took this class in Maymester online. Course had 14 quizzes, 4 Exams, along with 1 project (over a separate book that had to be at least 2000 words), and then a Final. All exams and Final were proctored. Exams where not completely over material in the textbook.

As long as you keep up with assignments and do the readings it will be a smooth semester

Teacher is VERY enthusiastic. She makes every lecture fun and interesting. Her powerpoints help a whole ton and as long as you pay attention in class, you should get an A easily.

Her lectures are very fun, its almost hard not to pay attention. Quizzes every week but they are usually pretty easy. The tests are a little hard cause she doesn't really tell you what to study for and the reviews don't really help either. If you study some and take decent notes you should be fine.

Professor Nutt taught well by using interesting PowerPoints, videos, and interactive handouts. The only homework was reading from the textbook (optional). She tests hard, but shares her PowerPoints & gives a list of what to study. 1 Project, 5 Exams, 15 Quizzes. The lowest exam and 5 quizzes drop. Extra points on each exam for staying off phones.

She was amazing and really sweet, she cared about her students and took time to learn names. I had her at 8 am so it was hard paying attention lol. She has exams where she gives extra credit if you're not on the phone. test get easier over time. She has a project, I did the reading project super easy if you don't do last minute.

I enjoyed Dr. Nutt's class, she is kind and easy to like. It can be difficult to keep up with the assignments because there are a lot. TAKE NOTES during lectures and use her study guides for the tests! I got through the class by rewriting my notes with the study guide. The textbook is necessary so download or buy it used on Offerup to save $

I love Dr. Nutt. I took Social Psychology online. Got a B which was fully on me. I just wasn't very engaged this semester. I would recommend her for any class. If you are struggling with the material or unclear on something just email her. She is very responsive and genuinely cares.

Very informative lectures and a very sweet and caring woman. Class was a little difficult with everything we had to learn for the tests, but getting an A is very possible in her class.

I had Professor Nutt for Biological Psychology, the 16 week course. I can say that her curriculum is very well done, and that the assignments and exams were extremely consistent. However, you should be prepared for lots of course material to be put into each test. If you avoid textbooks, I would recommend avoiding this, there is lots of reading.

I took Dr. Nutt for abnormal psychology and it was my absolute favorite class ever. I got a C in no fault but my own, I slacked off at the end of the semester. I loved the material and I found the tests to be simple. We could use notes on the test and we had an end of semester paper that was pretty fun to write. Take her!!

Dr.Nutt was a great and passionate professor. You can tell she loves her job and her students. Her lectures are very informative and she does quizlets in class to review the chapters. The after lecture quizzes help reinforce learned information and the tests are at a moderate difficulty. I absolutely recommend taking this course.

honestly, this class wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I took her 10-week online course, and it was very simple and straight forwards. She is lecture heavy and has a lot of videos, but I honestly never watched them, I just read the textbook and did just as good. (The questions from the textbook are what you will be tested on)
