Dr. Cooper was so hilarious and made Psychology fun. This was the class everyone was excited to go to. He connects to the students in a way that makes them apply concepts to their real life. This class gave me a whole new perspective on our world. The tests aren't that difficult, study the powerpoints very well and keep up with research points.

Dr. Cooper is one of the best professors Ive had! No midterm or final just five exams and drops the lowest one. Attendance is a must because his exmas are 50% based on lectures. He makes you work for the grade but if you go to class take notes and read what you're supposed to, you can get an A. His class is hilarious, you wont want to miss anyways!

He is hilarious and makes his lectures interesting. His test are a little difficult if you don't read the chapters required and go over the Power Points. He gives several easy quizzes and he gives 2 attempts. He also requires 8 research hours for psychology. Overall it was a good class to take.

Dr. Cooper is the ideal professor. He was extremely inspirational in everything he taught. He explained the reality of sexuality in such a fine manner. He is certainly not afraid to talk about these subjects that nobody else wants to talk about such as sexual orientation, sexual behavior, and much more. Every psych major should take his class.

As long as you show up and pay attention, you should be good. You have to do quizzes every week, but it doesn't take you more than 10 minutes and they're online, so you can use the book. Dr. Cooper is an amazing professor! Truly enjoyed going to his class, and felt like I learned so much! Weekly online quizzes of 5 questions each, and its open book so they are not hard at all. You have to read the book for his exams (5), but even then they are not hard, just pay attention to class and to his test review the class before.

In all honesty he's an amazing professor, and definitely makes you laugh. In terms of the class, he technically goes over everything on the test, but don't expect to simply get an A by just showing up. I personally did struggle to study for his class, and his tests can be difficult for some people but its overall if you study his tests are simple.

All of his lectures are like if therapy were standup comedy. This is honestly one of the few classes I look forward to every week. The man is just so charasmatic, funny, and caring. It is easy to see through his lectures that he loves his job and his students.

He is honestly one of the better professors at this university he is very passionate about teaching this class and it shows he makes it very engaging for others and explains the topic easily and in a funny manner too . Just read the PPTs, before the test read the chapter review and you should get easily pass with an A.

This class assigns weekly quizzes based on the chapters you read (Only 5 easy questions.) He may curve exam grades based on attendance so it helps to be there and not skip at all. He's a very passionate professor and really wants his students to learn, not just for their grade but for their own personal lives.

Show up to his class and he will curve your exams by some points. When study for the exams record him saying the stuff you need to know and go over that stuff he says. the quizzes are easy they are 5 questions and you can take it two times for a high grade. He is funny and was the class I always look forward to.

My second semester taking Cooper's class, he's just amazing. This course just consisted of four exams, but he offers extra credit, curves every exam, drops the lowest exam (I couldn't attend last semester's final and still passed with an A+). He is hilarious, caring, and truly cares about his students. I would take him every semester if I could!

I hate morning classes, Mr. Cooper made me wake up with excitement towards the lecture I was going to hear every Tuesday´s and Thursday´s at 9:00AM. He is a remarkable character, I enjoyed his class like no other. Quizzes are every week and tests every three or four quizzes. Do study for tests, quizzes are easy. Lazy people fail, easy A.

The funniest professor i've had, gives easy weekly 5 question quizzes , 5 non cumulative exams including the final, research participation and will give you credit if you do more than asked and attendance counts towards your grade so don't skip class. If you do good in all first 4 exams you don't have to to the final.

I loved this teacher. He is really funny and an amazing teacher. There were a lot of tests but just make sure you pay attention in class and study before tests. I loved the stories he told us. Some were funny and some were sad. Either way he was very engaging and I love his class.

Dr. Cooper is THE BEST. He and his peer leader, Marcos, are the perfect duo. Weekly easy blackboard quizzes. Exams are easy as long as you go through his PPTs. His class is so fun and since it's a big class he curves. I got 186/150 in his class.

Uploads lectures with his assistant Marcos, but watching the videos aren't essential to doing well in the class. One quiz and discussion post per week. Exams are proctored but are easy enough to get an A just by reading the chapter summaries and the vocabulary definitions. I do like Dr. Cooper's personality and wish I had him for in-person classes.

Dr. Cooper's class was really easy and interesting. He uploaded weekly videos with his TA. They're not mandatory to watch since the tests were based on the textbook. Although some of the questions on the exams were based on the videos. His lectures were always fun and easy to watch. I wish I was able to take his class again.

Online class was super easy everythings on quizlet. The only annoying thing was the discussion boards, the stupid TA that would grade mine would always give me half points even if I did my best. ANYWAYS I recommend this class he gives EXTRA CREDIT on exams!

Loved Dr. Cooper's class! He was very understanding over the circumstances of going online in the Fall semester. His class consisted of chapter quizzes and discussions. Make sure to take notes and memorize. Otherwise, everything is well. Really wish I would've take his in person course he seems very energetic and passionate.

If you have the option to have Cooper as your psychology professor, take it! This class has been the most engaging one I've had this semester. Each chapter will have its own quiz online and each exam was in person. The lectures should be fun and easy as long as you have read each chapter.

PSYCH1301 fall semester 24. 5 question quizzes weekly online, exams are in person on paper, 8 required research studies on SONA, very easy and interesting course. Don't wait to do the SONA, the surveys are not always available but they are easy. Gives real examples of patients. I recommend this professor will definitely take him again. 👍

LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr. Cooper. He is incredibly insightful and hilarious. This class had 500 students and he learned about 40 names and kept the classes open to discussion despite being a lecture. Participation isn't necessary but you learn a great deal of real world lessons. There's not a ton of work just read and you'll be fine.

As a psych major, this is my favorite class to take out of the semester. There is work to a point where it's not too much but you are learning overall the lectures are very interesting and informational. He's also caring and funny which makes the class 10 times better.

Professor Cooper was one of the best professors I have ever had, he drops your lowest exam grade and that can include your final if you did well on all other exams during the semester. There is a 5 question homework quiz every week, you also have to participate in research which is very simple and easy if you plan ahead. Super knowledgeable.

Listen I never ONCE paid attention during lectures and still managed to get a perfect score on every exam. Dr. Cooper is passionate about what he does and manages to bring humor to lectures yet it is not necessary to pay attention to pass. Just get the textbook, read it, take notes and you'll be fine. All tests are MC and he gives helpful reviews.

I've never gone to lecture or bought the book, I just kind of studied off of the PowerPoints and still received an A. Kind of regretted not attending lecture because I've heard he gives good lectures but his class is easy ;)
