Dr. Faulders is one of the greatest Professors at COC. There needs to be more profs like him. He is very passionate about what he teaches which some may misconstrued as being biased. We are all entitled to our own beliefs and opinions. He merely gives you facts about the subject. Highly recommended. Capito or no capito?!! :D

Very funny and nice, but gives off a total creeper vibe. Be sure to laugh at his jokes and participate in class. Heavily pushes a Conservative, Christian agenda.

Found the hw reading to be of little relevance in that it is not philosophy but a biologist's argument for why the Christian god is real (odd choice for PHILO 101) and his lectures can't really compare to other philosophy and theory professors I've had. I got an A, not too hard but wouldn't recommend him.

Mr. Faulders is rude and talks down to his students. If you are taking him for a world religions class, I suggest you take a different class because he is extremely biased toward any religion except his own. He does not have an open mind or an appreciation for other views and belief systems.

Best teacher I have ever had. Really pushes his students to think. Very strong in his own views. Gets the entire class involved in discussion of a topic. Took both philosophy classes he offered and wish I could have taken more. Actually cares about his students. Very entertaining, but not easy.

One of the best teachers I've ever had. He gets you thinking about stuff outside of class, like life and religion. It's really interesting. He's a cool, funny dude. TAKE FOR NIGHT CLASS!!!!! Only keeps you in for two hours as oppose to 3 & 1/2.

Awkward but effective teaching style. Has firm opinions and biases; just show him respect and he'll treat you accordingly. Learns every student's name and includes each person in class discussion. Assignments not hard but be thorough with your own ideas. Includes current issues in discussion. Just respect his viewpoints. Dont come if you dont care

If you treat him with respect, you'll get the same in return. Unless you have religious or political views that differ from his. He literally laughed at my religion and, in front of the whole class, stated, "You know that's all made up, right?" But to pass with a decent grade, just play up your intelligence and vocabulary a bit. Tests are easy.

Within the first hour Faulders had made derogatory comments about everything from vegetarians to secondary teachers. He told his captive audience that fuel cost should be $1 but the $3 extra goes for teachers' pensions and cited inaccurate info about graduation rates .Teaching style-listen to him while he reads.Sorry for those required to attend.

Great man with good intentions. Come to class with an open mind and you'll do very well. If you are stubborn and continuously disagree with him, you will have a problem. Easy material. However, you have to go the extra mile to get an A, i.e. answer homework questions PLUS an extra 5 pages of thought. Bare minimum will get you a B. CAPITO? ;)

The class was made up of 14 homework assignments, 2 tests, 1 non-cumulative final, and a paper. An A in this class must be earned doing extra work. Dr. Faulders is a professor who is passionate about what he teaches. He is intelligent and not patronizing. He has opinions and welcomes those who voice their own opinions respectfully. Wonderful prof.

Dr. Faulders always made the class enjoyable. The insight he shared w/his students was great. Occasionally gave us "pep talks." If you pay attention in class, you'll do fine on the exams. He learns every students name and calls on students to answer so make sure to pay attention. What I learned in this class helped me in other classes.
