His class is easy to follow and the expectations are very clear. He posts everything online, from assignments to discussion topics to your grades. It's a great class. Not to mention the guy is really really attractive...young and HOT. If you can't pay attention, at least you have something to look at. I think I'm in love.
He was a cool teacher and not hard. If you participated and listened in class, you didn't even have to read the book, because he basically went over exactly what he told you to read. This was for U.S. Government, I don't know about how he is for Texas Government, but he seemed even more interested in that, which could only make the clas better.
Good teacher. Is there to help whenever you need it. He gives study guides for the test and the notes each day in class both help for the tests. The class is pretty easy if you show up.
he is the bomb! he's very young, so he kind of identifies with the students! take him, and you wont regret it. I just had him for summer 2 2008 and i got an A+. You only need to book for reviews.. pay close attention in class and you'll be just fine! TAKE HIM..HE'S THE BOMB!
Great Prof. Relatable to students. Very knowledgeable about subject matters and lectures and entertaining and enhances interest on Texas Govt. Pay close attention in lectures and go over notes for exam. And don't forget the study guide!!!
he is very young
this is an amazing teacher, i have absolutely no interest in government or politics and he made me pay attention because it was actually interesting the way he taught it. i recommend him highly.
Great Teacher had for two government classes and I really understood everything in his class and if you really need the help he will definitley help you out... I really recommend him
I just had him for fall of 2009! This class was very interesting because since it was during the elections, some topics were understood a lot better. He keeps the class interesting by having seminars. The textbook was only needed for yourself so you can study. He was also willing to meet up outside of his office hours. He's a great choice.
the class is easy and there is almost no homework. Too bad he's real strict on tardiness, i walked in literally 2 minutes late and sat through the class and he counted me absent. his emo hair in his face is a bit annoying as well
I want his side bangs...He is a pretty easy teacher as long as you attend class. All letures are on powerpoint and the study guides ARE the test. He tells you exacatly what to study. I didn't buy a book and really never studied and made a C. I'm cool with that.
first of all he is so cute, he is so passionate when he talks and he smiles and i cant do anything but listen to what he is saying and its amazing how i get everything he talks about, he is a little strict on tardiness but its ok cause i have never wanted to miss any of his classes, this is one of the best classes i have ever taken, TAKE THIS CLASS
He was a great teacher! His notes were extremely useful and he always had study guides that were extremely similar to the tests! Great overall!! and cute too! :)
This guy is crystal clear about everything that he teaches. Not only that, but he's very passionate about it which makes the class highly enjoyable. I was really dreading this class going in but it ended up being my favorite class of the semester (and highest grade). Basically, Ted rules. Just don't be late or you will be counted absent.
Way cool professor, passionate about government. Our age (25-30), always there to help and clarify. This class ended up being my favorite and getting an A is easy..tons of extra credit available too!
Very helpful, very clear, and very enthusiastic. He's ALWAYS at his scheduled office hours as well. He made a seemingly boring topic very interesting and informative. And the tests aren't too difficult as well.
Just do what he asks and you'll get an A. He is very straight forward and willing to help
awesome teacher! I would take him again any day! He knows who you are when you see him. He had tons of opportunities to get extra credit. Overall best teacher i had in college so far. He does require you to be in class and if you are late its a absence. you will have to write about 5 essays in the class but one of them gets dropped. best teach ever
Took his honors U.S. Government class. That has to be the only class I have ever taken- considering grade school and college- that actually taught me something. And why did it teach me? Because he had us read the actual original documents all the textbooks are merely based on. Screw secondary sources-- we went primary all the way! Woohoo for Ted!
Professor Ted is awesome. I had some medical issues this semester and he was so understanding and helped me with making up my assignments. His class is interesting and he was always easy to listen to and understand. Highly recommend!
Professor Hadzi-Antich is an excellent honors US GOVT teacher!!! He grades tough on the 4 essays, so be sure to take your rough draft to him for his review. Read all the daily readings and attend for the quiz. Textbook can be skimmed/crammed prior to midterm and final. If you think gov't is boring, Professor HA will change your mind.
DO NOT take this class during the summer. There are intense reading assignments to be read every night, followed by a daily quiz. The readings are equivalent to the research paper he gives out in the fall. The study guides are helpful but not enough time to go over it. Kind of rude & has an odd sense of humor. I do not recommend this teacher.
Nice teacher. His test are pretty hard. Study his test reviews and take notes from his power points. Doesn't give out extra credit, and will put a zero as your grade if you miss a quiz or test. Took him during the spring and was an okay class. Wish it had been easier. Take notes and do the work (seminars, etc). A good teacher overall.
Young and enthusiastic guy. great energy level but can cause him to get sidetracked, shortchanging some material. Strict on attendance, and will not accept anything late. The two Plan 2 tests (no essays) were not difficult, and he was pretty generous on the grade he gave my (flawed) paper. Do the minimum on the seminars and you'll get full credit.
A fantastic teacher! P. Hadzi is obviously very passionate about teaching government, and his classes were engaging and fun. Yes he is strict with attendance and paper due dates, but this is college people. I highly suggest him, especially his honors courses.
Great teacher!!
Professor Hadzi-Antich's Honors U.S. Government course was by far the best one I took at ACC. You will learn a lot and it will be fun. I laughed more in there than in any other ACC classroom. He really knows his stuff,is a true academic, yet he is humble and will really listen to you and help.
This has been my favorite class at ACC by far. I always thought that TX/Local Govt is boring, but Prof Hadzi-Antich makes it interesting! He's funny, but REALLY teaches you. I used the book 50% of the time. The test review REALLY helps you. You MUST attend class b/c your grade depends on it. He's pretty cute too ;)
I had no interest in our government prior, but Ted made it straightforward and interesting. He is a very funny individual that can make the class spontaneously burst into light-hearted laughter. He teaches through power points, take good notes on those. 3 tests are straight from lecture, review, and seminars. Reading quizzes & 1 debate.
LOTS of reading involved in his class. He does a lot of 'seminars' (socratic circles) which I've never been a fan of, but they aren't that painful. Definitely dont want to miss class because he often covers things not found in the books but will be on the tests. liked the guy but thought his class was just OK. Liked prof Albert more for TX Govt
There was a lot of reading in this class. The study guides are very helpful for the tests! Even though I did terrible on the daily quizes the tests brought up my grade.
He's pretty cool and a good teacher. Gets off track sometimes but he will clarify anything you don't understand. IT PAYS TO ASK QUESTIONS, ATTEND EVERY CLASS AND READ THE TEXT.
Attend every class and pay attention. Daily easy quizzes and group discussions over the readings. You will need to write a paper or two. Love this professor, very engaging and makes a normally boring subject inspiring.
This teacher is really into what they do and is funny but he requires a lot of work and on his quizzes, if you miss 1 question its an automatic 85 which sucks. If you don't want to do a crap tone of reading and are not skilled in analyzing DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!
Grading System is a little lopsided. Most of the time devotion in the class goes to the online seminars, however most of the grading system is tilted toward the tests. All that is mentioned for the tests is to read the chapters and look at the study guide. However, there is lots of communication about the online seminars. Thoroughly read material
1 of the best classes & teachers I’ve had. Strict w/ attendance (logged by a daily quiz @ the start of class) but allows 6 absences (or drop 6 worst quizzes). Class is open discussion of readings, & participation is informal. Asks great questions of the class in discussion, would be better if we had them while reading (for pertinent text).
I failed his course because I almost never went to class. Lots of quizzes over lengthy readings you do at home that can be difficult and time consuming. Don't skip, pay attention, ask questions, and be a contributing member of the class and you're almost certain to get a good grade. He is a champ at getting back in contact with you as well.
LOVE this Professor! Not an easy class but I learned so much. I had no interest but he made it interesting and fun. Attendence MANDATORY. DON'T be late and DO NOT EVER pull your phone out. Lots of reading but really a great class and great Professor. Already enrolled in another of his classes for next semester. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Wow the reading, I practically slept and ate with all the different reading material. I loved a lot of it, but most of it had to be a rush job. Daily quizzes, with two major writing assignments for mid-term and final. Discussion was amazing everyday and Ted is very lively. He is also a tough grader and does not offer much help, explanation.
Really nice guy and good teacher. Kind of a hard grader and I honestly don't know how anyone could get an A in the class, but I learned so much and he is a pretty cool guy so it kind of makes up for it.
I really liked having Ted. He's extremely passionate about the subject matter, but still manages to be fun and light-hearted during class. Be warned that you will be doing extensive amounts of reading, but the quizzes on the selections are very straightforward. Aside from that you will be graded on attendance, tests, and an analysis over a reading
My favorite Professor at ACC so far! I took him for GOVT 2305 and 2306. US GOVT expect ALOT of reading and quizzes but if you actually do the reading, the quizzes are easy. He gives great lectures so paying attention isn't hard. DO NOT BE LATE! DON'T SKIP! PUT PHONE UP! Ted is a fantastic motivator. He will reward hard work. Would take again.
Very passionate about government and creates assignmentsprojects that reflect his dedication to making students excited about the subject. He's knowledgeable, witty, and relatable. I definitely recommend taking courses from him.
I absolutely loved this guy. I'm a history buff, so it thrills when I get history or government teachers who are actually excited about what they're teaching. I often found myself hanging after class to continue with discussions. Lots of work, but totally worth it.
This asst. prof and I bumped heads NUMEROUS times via email. If he reads this he will know who I am. Myself and a number of classmates taking his class online were lost within the first week. When I realized he would not give me the help I needed, even though he "offered", I learned on my own. Read the chapters. Take notes. Good luck.
Ted is an amazing teacher and one of the most interesting professors I've had to date. Expect to be doing a lot of outside of class participation but other than that this course is an easy A.
Amazing summer class.
He is a great professor because I think he really understands how students think, which is why he is one of the best lecturers I've ever had. He is super knowledgeable about the subject and does a great job at answering any questions you have. He really does want his students to succeed
Ted's lectures are funny and focused. He is able to make a dreaded, mandatory class extremely interesting. More than the material, Prof Hadzi-Antich cares about his students understanding the importance of local gov and motivating them to participate. One of the best teachers I've had. If you have interest in having interest in gov, go with Ted.
Amazing Lectures? Not really More like Texas storytime. He scatters the class through podcasts you MUST listen to, online study guides, online textbook, in class lectures, notes. Gives no mercy to slackers or cell phone users, deal with it. But overall not so bad. Kinda weird too.
One of the best profs at ACC. The honors class requires DAILY reading 10-50 pgs. Course load of any important University, really. Good dynamic discussions Socratic style every class. No tests just essay midterms. The final is an mock campaign with 2 teams. Extensive teamwork for 2 weeks. Lots of work, but one of the best classes I've taken at ACC.
I took his 6-week online class over the summer. Pretty standard stuff, just a lot of reading and he provides lectures along with power points to go over before each exam. His exams aren't too hard but are also timed, and you can use notes. He mumbles a lot in lectures.
Prof. Hadzi-Antich is an amazing professor for DIL. I'm very happy with my experience.
Such a great and cool professor!
Probably my favorite professor of all time. He is hilarious, super friendly, and always willing to help. He teaches using real world examples and scenarios so it is very interesting an easy to learn. Also, his class is VERY straight forward. Ted makes every class enjoyable and i actually look forward to his classes. TAKE THIS PROF. he is the best.
Good lectures, quick responses, and you're fine if you follow instructions.
I took American Government online with Professor Hadzi-Antich and it was exceptionally easy. Very clear grading with a lot of lee-way. Quizzes were not trick questions or anything, just tested basic understanding of reading. Lots of discussion posts necessary, but was not graded harshly. I feel like I learned the material well without a struggle.
He teaches government in a way you'll actually understand it. A majority of the assignments are crazy fun activities. His lectures are so interesting and I always was smiling or laughing. No homework besides one project. Tests are purely knowing study guides. Easy fun rewarding class if you try and show up! TAKE THIS!
If you are someone who likes to have all you work assigned at the beginning of the year this is the class for you. He lets you know from the beginning what to expect and when everything is due. I have a busy schedule, but was able to finish everything except discussion board replies within the 1st 5 weeks of class. Great course for those on the go.
For a class that I was nervous about since it was a required credit and not something I looked forward to, this was by far one of the best classes I've ever had. I learned so much about a subject I didn't care for and it was because the professor was passionate about what he was teaching!
Its only been a few weeks and I already love this professor. Ive never been interested in historygovernment but this professor makes me engage and gain knowledge while still enjoying the class. His lectures are not boring at all and hes very good at explaining.
I took the hybrid Texas State and Local government with Professor Hadzi-Antich and it was way more interesting and easy than I thought it would be. The study guides for the two tests we had were very straightforward. He wants everyone to do well in his class and he will work with you if you miss some assignments. I definitely recommend Ted!
Easy A. Show up, do the projects, and you're golden.
This is the most manageable online class you will ever take. The workload is beyond reasonable and his grading is generous. Finish all of your work and you're guaranteed to pass. Take this professor!
Awesome professor that I guarantee you won't regret taking. I admire him immensely after taking this class! Caring, comedic and easy listening. Everyday I learned something interesting. He expects participation and grades you by it. Reading/skimming the book & doing all of the assignments/projects on time will surely get you an A. It did for me.
He is a great professor you can tell he loves teaching and is passionate about it. I learned a lot about TX Gov class. Lectures are enjoyable, wan't just test based grading i had to do activities he assigned outside of class on my on time for grades, which i feel at the end help me get a better grade. I earned my first A in his class. He's awesome
This is a perfect online course. I was a little nervous taking the condensed summer version but the way the course is structured and the clear expectations listed in the syllabus helps out tremendously. Do all the work and you'll pass with flying colors. Great straightforward professor.
I took his class half online so we only meet once a week. his lectures are useless he just tells stories all class that don't give any real information. gets off topic super easily. for our election project the only instructions we got was to make a presentation about the election and nothing else so nobody has a Clie what they're doing.
His humanities class is a big joke, yeas it might be an easy a, but the books where not what I was excpecting for a humanities prehistory through the renaissance class. We read the Odyssey (which I feel like ive already read in high school a million times), and a book about math. He has a very passive aggressive explosive anger thing. No fun here.
I took this class online and it was the best online class I've taken. His syllabus is really clear and he responds to emails really quickly. At first it seems like the class is going to be a lot of work because there is a lot of reading but if you do the reading then you will do really well in the class! I would definitely take this class again!
Loved his source material and recorded lectures. It is A LOT of reading, but it you do it, youll do well in the class.
Hadzi-Antich lays out all of his expectations in his syllabus. And it doesn't fail you. The online class is discussion-based, with seminars you will lead once, and you must post on twice every time. The style is unique and refreshing. Follow the instructions, and you are sure to pass (in fact, his policy is minimal C if you do every assignment).
I took the 6 WK online course, VERY clear syllabus. You MUST read all the chapters in the online textbook and review PowerPoints, audio lectures, podcasts and PDFs to be able to answer the questions on the exams. 4 exams total and 4 forum posts on what you learned. Take the time to read and review the material and you can EASILY pass this class!
I had the opportunity to take his class during election season, and in his class, alongside great lectures with real-life examples and funny stories, he really pushed us to get involved in the democratic process. He is an amazing professor who takes a very interactive, hands-on approach to learning, with community involvement replacing tests
TAKE HIM TAKE HIM!!! If you are wanting to take US government, Texas Government, Introduction to Political Science and HUMA 1301 TAKE HIM! He is incredibly amazing and helpful. I took his online Us Gov, I never met him but he is so helpful and responds quickly to emails. He is very understanding, no extra credit opportunities but the class is very
Professor Hadzi is a nice guy. Get ready to read 40-50 page chapters. Get ready to read the full Federalist papers. Get ready for 4 seminars which he selects few people to be a leader on it. Beware also of quizzes, there are a lot of them. This course is 100% online. Tests are timed. He just gives lectures relating to work never content.
Great guy, requires you read a ton and write a mini paper before each class, class is all group discussion which swerves off-topic constantly. The readings are wonderful and perfectly chosen. The discussion is good if you've never been exposed to that. I thought it was a wasted chance to learn in class and a bit lazy from him. Honors GOVT 2305.
Read & follow his syllabus. It has all his expectations. Lots of reading, but complete syllabus's instruction and "A" is obtainable. Pay attention to his lecture. 80% tst Q frm lectures. 12 multiple choice tests. Most tst: 10Q, 30'. Take yr time during tests. Some Q r "tricky." Discussion board requires yr "thoughtful' posting.
Do all the assignments and the class is an easy A
As long as you do the discussion posts and the essays, this class is an essay A. Class was online this semester due to COVID, and there was an optional zoom meeting every other week. Even with that, it was a good way to have discussions with other students in the class. He is also good at responding to emails in a reasonable amount of time.
Professor Ted is the Bomb. No tests at all. He gives us, the students, a chance to discuss our thoughts and views via discussion boards through topics he provides. Theres one every week. Thereare two (1 page PowerPoint) presentations that need to be completed and thats it. Class was a breeze. Such a good teacher as well. Thanks Ted!
Professor Ted was amazing, he was there for you if you had something going on outside of school. Ted made his lectures fun and you looked forward to his class
I have never been a fan of Government or History in any form, however I sincerely enjoyed this class way more than I thought I would. It was very interactive, lots of discussions that get you thinking, and over all just a really good class.
Hands down the easiest A you will receive, that is if you do the work, which is super easy. The class I took was DIL asynchronous so no meeting time or watching lectures. Discussion boards due every week, post twice and you get credit. 3 presentations throughout the semester, only one slide. Take him if you can?
Had this professor for online dual credit Government and loved him! He is so sweet and hosts office hours every week if needed. The class is a really easy A if you do your work on time. If you're bad with time management the class might be more difficult for you however I truly liked it. He grades essays and projects easily as well.
Super straightforward and easy class! No tests, only discussion boards, open note reading quizzes, 2 500-600 word essays, 2 presentation slides. Honestly just participate in the discussion boards and easiest A you'll ever get. Discussion questions are interesting and relevant (discrimination etc), easy to write about. Prof seems so sweet!
I highly recommend taking Professor Hadzi-Antich's class! There is lots of discussion every week, which is based a couple reading assignments. He grades pretty easily on papers and presentations. Although it was an asynchronous class, he gave the class many opportunities to talk to him and each other both over Zoom and in person.
Ted is the best!! His class was so much fun and I will miss participating. There are no test grades, just discussion posts every week, 3 essays, and 3 PowerPoint presentations on something you researched and think is rly cool! Perfect class if you love history/philosophy/ GREAT QUESTIONS that will leave you thinking for a while. Highly recommend!!
Honestly, kind of indifferent about Prof Ted. He's chill & the work isn't insane but when it comes to big projects & papers, it's a gray area. The last 2 weeks of class were purgatory, 3 major assignments were due back to back and the grading criteria was muggy. If you want an A you have to write a 1500 word paper w no guarantee you'll get an A
Pick a study question and write 150 words abt the reading each week + 2 posts (answer + ask) a question to others. 2 research papers 1500 words from 1 study question. 2 pp (1 page + pic and voice) abt your topic. Just finish your work on time. Asking tutor for help on easy. Do A paper if you looking for an A. RESEARCH ESSAY + PP are those matters!
The class was ok. It was mostly about racism/slavery every week. It was easy to keep up with throughout the whole semester until the last two weeks he gives 3 major projects. Even if you get 100s on every assignment, you cannot get an A unless you write a 1500 word paper that is due at the same time as 2-3 other major assignments.
I highly recommend taking Professor Theodore! He has a very unique way of teaching but it is without a doubt effective. If you participate in lectures, read the assigned readings, and keep up with the discussion posts, you will succeed!
Kind, caring professor. Was a little bit too relaxed at times and very unclear about the attendance policy.
Super easy class! I did the fully asynchronous distance learning over summer 2021, and like everyone else below said, the course was really straightforward and simple to get an A in. Would definitely take again
Fantastic professor, I love how he taught and set the class up. One great thing is that you are not overwhelmed with material which in my opinion makes it so much easier to complete assignments and genuinely learn. This class has taught me so much. He is a great educator and I genuinely feel like I learned things in his class.
WOW! What an amazing professor had him for Political Science, and man does he know how to keep the discussion interesting, this is a reading heavy class but the assignments are very light and a lot of your work is based on your understatement of what you read. He does not force anyone to participate but encourages everyone to speak their mind.
This was by far the best class I have taken at ACC. Prof. is so nice, knowledgeable, and caring. You have to read a lot but the assigned readings are enjoyable. This class is a breeze and you come out of this class a better person. We sit in a circle and chat about the readings and life, even when we get off-topic, Prof. ties it back in.
This was my fav class I have taken. It's question/discussion-based, with no memorizing vocab terms or important dates. Had I not taken this class, I probably would never have read any of the readings assigned. They were really interesting and important. I didn't reach out to the professor because his instructions are always clear.
Took online class, very clear instructions and easy to pass if you do the work. Very simple and straightforward, loved it.
I absolutely loved this professor! I took his 5-week course and even though it flew by. I felt like I learned so much! There was a lot of homework, but it was totally worth it because every assignment helped me learn more about what I believe regarding human rights and the structure of the American Government!
I enjoyed being in his 5-week Asych class! He posts a lot of discussion boards, but he gives you full credit on them as long as you meet the criteria for the post. Offers free online textbook. On main assignments, he's particularly a hard grader. Overall, he's really passionate about teaching government and us informed on current events.
It is all discussion based and had about 2 forums per week, 150 words and you post twice in each forum. Quizzes each week with unlimited attempts and it's short. There were a total of 2 essays 500 words each and 2 powerpoints they were 1 slide with 50 words max and audio up to 5mins. No need to read what he gives just control F and your good.
I took his all online self paced course. One discussion board post a week in addition to other assignments. The criteria for them is usually really long. Not more than three assignments per week. Super ez grader, and very clear grading specifications. Very organized professor, had no questions the whole semester because he was on top of his stuff.
Professor Ted might be one of, if not the, best professor I've taken. He encourages discussions in class with circular seating which keeps you accountable for not just doing the reading assignments but understanding them (very easy and interesting). stay organized and pay attention, that's it!
I loved Ted's Honors US Govt class so I also took Texas Govt with him as well. He's an incredible professor who is hilarious, inspirational, and caring. There is a lot of reading, but it was actually really interesting. You have to read, post a response to the reading before each class, and then discuss in a circle or small groups. Take his class!
Ted helped to educate us on the history of Texas in a way that made it palatable and actually interesting. He's hilarious and genuinely cares about the topics and students he teaches. If you take any class with him, you won't regret it. Just make sure you attend class and participate. Easily one of the best professors I've ever met.
I took this class over the summer for high school credit. Otherwise, the class was really easy but there was a lot of reading and writing.
Professor Ted is really the most caring professor I have had. He is passionate about the Texas government and really engages with the class. There are projects that you will do around Austin that really allow for the opportunity to see how government functions. Discussion-based daily which isn't exactly my cup of tea, but nonetheless a great class
If you want a basic explanation of the branches of government, this is not the professor for you. However, if you want to learn the whys and hows of the US Govt and have a deeper understanding, then take this class. There are some readings from the 18th and 19th centuries, but they are worth reading. AMAZING professor!
Professor Hadzi-Antich is clear and transparent with his assignments. He sent out an announcement each week detailing the material that must be completed. He always stayed up to date with his grading and he would adjust when necessary. This class gives you a deep insight into the U.S. government and its different branches.
Just take him. One of the best professors ACC has! I don't even like government or reading (college student of the year, I know) but he made it so interesting I didn't mind. My class was discussion based, but as long as you are actually engaged you'll never be forced to talk. Quiz and reading due every class and occasional textbook test.
I had this professor freshman year and this was one of those life changing classes where you start to realize how the world works. Loved the structure of the class and it definitely encouraged me to learn more on my own. The discussion boards taught me so much.
Professor Ted is a great teacher. With him teaching, Texas State and Local Government (GOVT-2306) is an easy A. The lectures are very involved, there's opportunity to speak and share ideas (both during the lecture and in small breakout groups), and he's a very lenient grader. Would totally take another course with him if my major required it.
Discussion-based, attendance is graded, online open sources quizzes, and easy projects. Ted makes the class feel welcoming, making you want to learn about how the Govt is involved in our lives. If you don't take his classes you are missing out. Do it, 99% of the classes passed with at least a B.
One of the worst professor he doesn't even reply to emails and doesn't care about his students!
DO NOT TAKE HIM!
Don't take the online class. There are no lectures, it is all reading and doesn't seem to relate to the topic. It is thanksgiving week and he assigns two quizzes and two discussion boards. Doesn't seem to care about his online class.
If you're willing to do all the reading in the class, it'll be very rewarding. Homework is 200-400 word discussion posts 2x a week on a reading or topic. Discussion-focused class. Some students don't read but can still participate. Lenient, friendly & doesn't harshly grade, gives 100s on most assignments. Topics intensely interesting.
Professor Ted was one of my favorite professors I have ever had. He is extremely understanding for extenuating circumstances and always makes classes entertaining and something to look forward to. The assignments are easy as long as you make an effort to do the readings and actually participate.
The professor has a detailed teaching system, but engaging with it pays off. The lectures and textbook are worth the effort. Unstuck ai was a great study aid alongside the course materials.
This course is a learning-matters based course, meaning that there weren't any tests. Instead every week you have to submit a discussion post, most of which are pretty easy if you put the time of day into them. The textbook is a free pdf he provides to you. If you want an easy grade, take this course, just be ready to readdd
Two weekly reading assignments due by the class times. By 9am on Monday and Wednesday you have to finish the reading and have uploaded a 500 word post about it. By 12pm of those days you have to respond to two classmates post. Class is discussion based, no lectures. Also a govt. textbook that must be read for quiz. Quiz is open note, not timed.
I really liked the way Professor Ted set up the discussions and had us go into breakout groups. It's especially great for an honors class because the class size is much smaller and so we get to know each other better. I wasn't always keeping up with the work due to ongoing mental health struggles but he never made me feel guilty and always cared.
This is a very easy class; most work is through the discussion board. As long as you do those, you'll be fine, since all tests are open-book and don't require lockdown browser.
I really enjoyed taking his class. All of the course material and assignments were clearly outlined in a schedule which he provided. Almost all of the course is discussion post recorded video assignments. I feel like speaking about the topics in the videos helped me retain the concepts and understand the text more thoroughly. Highly recommend!
Amazing professor. He is caring and genuine. He cares about the students and actually looks and sounds like he enjoys teaching. You earn the grade you get and be ready to read but it's not hard it's easy. Just participate and know the content. Again, AMAZING professor.
Professor Hadzi-Antich is the best first ACC Professor I could've asked for. The work was easy; there was a lot of reading, but he stated in the intro video that he doesn't expect you to read every page, but heavily encourages it. It would be insanly hard for omeone ot fail this course.
