Okay, This teacher is not as bad as you guys make him sound. I got a 56 On his midterm and passed the class with a B. However, I went to his office a lot, I sat with him in a board room and kept doing finance with him for hours. He will help you if you try. It is not an easy class but go to it.

Tough professor, too many assignments and strict on due dates for submission of assigments, exams extremely tricky, needs lots of revision for an A. Usually the class average is a B or C plus. Plus points: good knowledge of the course he is teaching, helpful at office hrs. Unlike other professors, you are definately gonna learn something from him

His office hours are effective. He loves to share his knowledge of economics and makes the class fun. He and his assistant professor are terrific at teaching the material. Enjoyed Economics with him last semester. Exams varied in difficulty but if you do all the extra credit and the homework, etc u'll be fine. Hats off 2 him!

Make sure you miss nothing that is due. Attempt the practice tests and just try on the actual exams. Easy A. Huge curve in the end of the semester.

A lot of work, especially homework. Did not appreciate how much time his homework would consume and take away from my other classes. He works with students, that much I will say. If you have a problem, he will help you. Overall, I learned the material for this class.

As long as you do all the Hw you should be fine. Homework typically takes about an hour to do, which i consider fair. Just don't forget to regularly check Online for hw, sometimes they could be due in 2 days or one week after the previous hw. Test can be tough, but if you do the hw and made a good cheat sheet you'll definitely pass.

I took him for hybrid Economic-201. Lectures are every other week, homework's are online and usually once or twice a week. Exams 1 & 2 are online usually on a Saturday, you still need to study for exams from homeworks and quizzes. He handle's all the online stuff, and your final grade. He's a Nice guy, I would take him again.

Took the online ECON 201 course with Dr. Bonitsis. He expressed concern for us students by sending emails reminding us of assignments and due dates. In addition, he encouraged us to ask for help and seek him out during office hours. Overall good course, however the main practice you are given are homeworks, which do not prepare you for the tests.

Very organized professor and quickly responds to your emails. Do the homework as it can be the difference between a letter grade and make sure to do the work before the due dates as he wont extend the deadline

Econ 201 online is actually a bit harder than taking the regular class. You always have to remember to keep up on your work. Professor is always helpful sending our weekly reminders of his office hours for any questions and all of the online course content is right on my Econ lab. Overall it is a good class and not entirely difficult.

Great Professor

He doesn't even teach Econ201, Professor Nurhan, Helvacian teaches. Here is a tip do the homework and the work studies. HINT: Work Study Concept Checks!!! are the exact same questions and answers on the freaking exam. NOTE: I hear people cheat on the exams all the time, except the student that is slaving away at actually learning the material. HUSH

He is a really good professor and he responds every email really fast. I'm taking this class online and he is really helpful.

Great teacher

Online class was simple and straight forward. Tons and tons of opportunity for extra credit. Never met the man in person but contacted him several times through email and was also super nice, considerate, and helpful. Gives office hours every week to go see him if needed.

Took this class online. There will either be 1 or 2 quizzes every week which are fairly easy. There are 2 exams which are a lot more difficult, definitely study for them. He gives extra credit (gave my class 3 extra credit). Not too hard but not too easy, you will learn a lot about economics. I would take this class again.

This was a hybrid class and the lectures were well taught plus the professor is quite clear about what is says. Good office hours to see him. Extra credit for homework which helps a lot. Overall great professor

He's a great professor and knows what he is talking about. His lectures go for the whole time period. There is homework every week and he will give extra credit towards the end of the semester. I would take him again.

If you pay attention his lectures where extremely helpful and if ask he would answer any questions.

The Course I took was a Hybrid Course. Although the lectures were rather long, you can really extract a lot of information from them. Professor Bonitsis was not my lecturer but rather someone else. The lecturer was extremely well informed and you can tell he was excellent at what he does. I recommend this course highly.

Really wants his students to do well and to be more knowledgeable of micro- and macroeconomics. Attending his lectures is a must if you want to do well in his class.

I took the hybrid (half online, half regular) version of the class. If you want to pass the class you should read the book, which is really good, really clear. Professor Bonitsis is really good at explaining in class.

Best Econ Professor

Take the online class it is great. Very straight-forward! You have two professor one teaches in-class every two weeks. The other is one is the one I am rating now. He emails you every week to remind you of assignments. Has a lot of extra credit opportunities. Just had one problem which was having an exam during Spring Break Weekend. Overall great!

Very easy class

I took his class . It was my first economics class and on-line course ever. The professor is very involved in his course, more than any traditional class that I have taken. I would take it again with him. There was a constant flow of material to learn, many resources and tutoring was offered. Great course !

Prof. Bonitsis is very involved in the class and truly wants everyone to succeed. The exams are timed so you have to make sure you know the material well. He gives alot of extra credit opportunities and the homework assignments are straightforward. Would definitely recommend.

He is one of the best professors in college. Make sure you do your homework regularly and attend classes. Gives a lot of extra credit opportunity to boost your grade. I took the hybrid course with him and Professor Helvacian and the online portion was pretty easy and very doable, just pay attention to due dates.

Even though I took his class online, he was more helpful than most other lecture professors. He cares for his students and wants you to succeed. The exams, however, can be a little long, but if you review the sample tests and quizes, you should be fine. He does provide extra credit after each exam, which is beneficial to your final grade.

Took Hybrid verison of Econ 201. He's quick with responding to emails, gives extra credit, and is pretty vocal through emails. I've never visited him for office hours, but he definitely seems passionate through his emails.

Bonitsis was the online section teacher yet he made every effort to be there for the class whenever we would need him. If you take him and you feel as though youre struggling with certain economic topics, just go to office hours with a few questions and you should be fine, he always lets you know what his hours are

Since this is the online section pretty much 100% of the necessary material came from the textbook. That being said, he replies to emails quickly and encourages people to come to his office hours if they are having trouble. Great class

The class was good you show up you study and you are golden. the professor explains everything well so you wont be confused that much.

Professor Bonitsis is a really awesome guy who believes in his students. He truly cares about every student at the very least passing his class, and if the student appears to be failing, he will offer extra credit to get the student's grade up. He made economics something to look forward to. He also gives homework extensions if you ask. Awesome!

Since this was an online class, your grade is like 90% pearson (homework, quizzes, and exams). He was extremely timely with emails and very nice, knew his stuff if you asked him. I only got a D in this class because I hate online classes and kept forgetting this class existed honestly, but he still passed me with a D.

I got a B despite not doing the best on the exams. He replied to emails very quick and was very nice and caring. Does not deserve the rating he has.
