she cant teach for her life...yah shes smart in the subject, but it aint gonna help nobody if she doesnt actually TEACH!! her worksheets r great, grades given are NOT!

first day of class the class was full. first exam, 10 people dropped out. during the week of pass/fail 10 more people dropped out. week of finals, there's only 6 people taking the final. Need to say more?

Got a C in that class, don't know how..worst teacher i ever had. Reminds me of Julia Child.

Taking this womans class is total hell. The only people who who do well are the****losers like the last reviewer. I mean this woman is horrible in the way she teaches. If you want an easy F this is the class to take.

I can't believe people are praising this woman. She goes entirely way too fast, writes a whole big mess on the board. And I tried to ask her for help and she would not even let me in her office; we spoke from her doorway. Seems to be against males AVOID

She really is an insult to the world of mathematics and teaching. She does her best in trying NOT TO HELP students. Instead of slowing down of people she does the total reverse and increases speed. This is outright a bad class.

She is a horrible teacher. She does not teach. She writes everything on the board at once and doesnt stop if ppl have questions. She does not know 1/2 of what she is talking about. Her tests are EXTREMELY hard. She doesnt review at all. We have tests on what we learned a month ago. She is NOT FAIR!!

Who the heck knows what class I was in...she's is the worst teacher I've ever encountered. I had 2 drop her class a month in2 the semester. She doesn't care at all if u have questions & she's not even sure of what she's doing. I dont think she even plans her lessons. Save your book $ 4 another class

Ok, now the class work was alright, not bad at all if you pay some attention, but then you sit for the test all confident and then WHAM!!! you are freaking dumbfounded.The test itself looks like a brand new lesson. Dont take her if you have a choice.

Don't take this class, horrible professor..not willing to help her students, tests are impossible. we asked her for a review.. she sed "i will see what i can do" and didn't show up the thursday before finals. nice? huh bottom line is that she doesn't care. stay away from this lady.

She has to be the worst professor that I have ever had. Her handouts are helpful but she does not really teach you anything. Be prepared to get outside help or teach yourself. She does not really help when you have a question it is almost as if she does not want to be there. Just drop the class as soon as you can and spare yourself the stress.

Save yourself trouble and TRANSFER out while you have a chance. I'm very good at Math, but this lady was impossible. She occasionally collects homework, but not worth anything to your grade; listen to what other people said.

Do not believe any nice comments people have toward this woman. She is mean, unwilling to help, makes easy aspects of math hard and is an impossible grader. I never have gotten lower than an A in any math class, ever in my life, until this class. She gives tests on things never mentionioned in class. DO NOT TAKE ANY OF HER CLASSES! I warn you now.

okay so ive read all of these comments and i was hesitate when i found out i got this teacher but i took it anyway and let me tell u she is the worst teacher ever. She is a kind old women but she moves way to fast that its hard to catch on. She gives 4 tests including the midterm and final. each test is extremely difficult. DO NOT TAKE HER.

I came to St. John's as a Math Major. I had already taken Calc, but didn't get credit because I got a 4 on the AP exam (need a 5). I though this class would be a breeze. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO CONFUSED IN MY LIFE! Professor Barz complicates everything and is very unclear. I now hate math (which I used to love) and have to change my major.
