Theresa is a great teacher, she actually has her own law practice and just comes in to teach a couple days out of the week. She has great stories that help you remember the information. Easy A if you come to class...she takes attendance vocally and it takes about 15 minutes. She gives extra credit to people who speak up in class.Optional Final.

Theresa is an AMAZING teacher! She gives you 5 free absences [no excuses after that], the class is engaging, fun, and interesting, and you don't have to attend the class after a test, although doing so will help for the final. Ms. Clement is AWESOME! Attendance is mandatory and you lose a full letter grade if you miss more than 5 classes, but class is so fun, you don't want to miss. Her lectures are really interesting and she is so funny. She has great real life examples since she is a lawyer herself. 4 tests and a final exam, but you get to drop your lowest test score.

Ms. Clement is the best. 4 exams and a final. she drops your lowest exam grade so you might not have to take the final. You can miss 5 classes without a penalty. I wanted to go anyways because she is funny and class is always short. I enjoyed her class.

My favorite teacher I've had at USC. Go to class and take notes and you're set. She tells you that you need the book, but majority of the test is from the notes. Also, make an extra effort to show up on Fridays(she usually gives EC).

3 things:(1)If you don't get at least a B in her class you are either dumb or don't study/take notes. (2)She makes class fun and is hilarious--I may have peed myself listening to one of her stories.(3)She cares and wants your college experience to be fun=NOT out to get you. Clement is perhaps one of the best professors I have ever had. I had her for Criminal Procedure, which has a notorious reputation for being difficult and confusing, but with Clement, I could easily understand the material. She is definitely not an easy pofessor, but you will surely learn. Oh, she cusses a lot, if that's your thing.

CRJU 313 was honestly SUCH an easy class. the "textbook" is just a baby spiral bound book where you write all your notes in. the lectures are actually not bad to listen to and you honestly follow the exact headlines in the note taking book. get approx 6 absences and if your average is high enough you dont have to take the final. EASY A

She is a great professor! You should take her whenever you can...except this class. It's a very difficult class. You have a midterm and a final. That's it. I know others who also had a hard time with the class. Expect to read the book completely, or you will fail. Other than that, Clement is a godly professor and you should take her for 101 or 314

Im a biology major and this was my first C+ ever. She's very interesting and nice. Tests are 35 mc with 5 coming from the book. However, If I could retake with someone else I would. She purposely asks trick questions with multiple answers that "could be right". Final is fair and easy though.

The professor is nice etc. However her exams are filled with trick questions. Even if you attend class and read the book (which I did) you can get an answer wrong b/c of one word that is slightly different in the answers. She doesn't use outlines or Powerpoint so it's hard to study. IMO you'll like her... but won't get a good grade from her.

overall she is an awesome teacher, if your looking for a easy A or even B+ then you can start to look for a new professor. with that being said, her class is great, funniest teacher ever, and you don't mind going to her class because she truly does make it interesting. DO NOT take her if your looking for easy A.

Took her in 2009. I was a C student. Her class was my first A, and I busted my ass for it. I hated going to class, and hated it through graduating. I didn't miss a single class with her. She teaches with stories, and they are entertaining, hilarious, and extremely relevant. Not an easy A, take notes, but a truly enjoyable class. USC, require her!!

Ms Clement is well known for her difficult tests, but she is pretty clear in what she wants you to know (verbatim). However, if you miss class it may be difficult to understand the notes from the lecture in the last class. She is very intelligent and keeps the class interesting! I would certainly love to take another class with her.

She ain't the easiest of teachers, but she is one of the more realistic. Her tests are difficult; they require you take detailed notes and come to class. Procedure itself is a hardconfusing class . She does a good job of untangling concepts and keeps it interesting. If you want an easy A skip it. If you want to learn from a top teacher take it.

She's so interesting and hilarious, and I genuinely loved going to her class. I would take her for every course possible if I could!

She is great! She tells you exactly what you need to know and gives lots of chances for extra credit! She is hilarious and makes class fun to go to! Her wording on tests might trip you up but otherwise very easy. I didn't do the readings but still got 100 on the last test. Book questions are common sense and the rest are all from your notes.

This is a very interesting class for people needing an elective or interested in CJ. The professor knows the material very well and presents it in a great style that is interesting and full of funny personal stories from her years practicing law. Not an easy class, but given MORE than enough opportunities to succeed and make an A.

Clement is a former attorney, so she expects a lot of her students after going through law school. Tardies count as absences. She only lectures--no PowerPoints. Tests are hard and there are trick questions. Often, her lecture questions are not covered in lecture. She accepts zero late work. Don't take this class if you're lazy. NOT an easy A.

I loved this class so much that I read the textbook for fun sometimes (and I know, that is weird). She gives great lectures, they are entertaining and funny and she gets the material across in an interesting way. There are 4 tests and the final, but if you do well enough on the tests, you don't have to take the final. TAKE THIS CLASS WITH HER.

Clement is an amazing instructor. Her lectures are not boring at all no matter how bland the material is. She helps you know exactly what you need for each test. The book is only used for 5 questions each test so you can survive without it. She is very helpful at the end of the semester to if you are a few points away from moving up a grade.

Lectures are great. Will let the class out early most of the time. Do the extra credit assignment. Study your ass off and you might get a B. I won't be taking her again just because our personalities didn't mesh, even though I did go to her office multiple times. Take her for 101, at least, but know you'll be working hard

LOVE LOVE LOVE her!!! Had her for 101 and had to take her again. This class is a lot harder than 101. By that I mean she really steps it up with her tests and will make you really think about the material you have learned. I was 1 pt away from a B+ and don't thing I would have even gotten a B with out doing all the extra credit and going to class.

You have to study harder for this class than most 101's but if you like the subject and are willing to do some work, you will be very successful.

Was my favorite class of the semester. She takes a huge amount of points off tests for messing up on the scantron (which I did every time). Her lectures are awesome though, very easy to pay attention to and tells a ton of stories. It's a CRJU class so it's hard and lots of trick questions on her test. You MUST do the extra credit.

I have taken professor Clement for 101, 203, 313, and 314. She is an amazing professor. Lectures are super interesting and she's hilarious. If you write down everything she says and read the textbook then you will do just fine. You will have to work for a good grade, but taking her is totally worth it. Clement is by far the best professor I have had. Charismatic, funny, & makes 1 hour & 15 mins. fly by. She gives random extra credit, she will let you out early, & she's just an all around great person. Just take notes on what she says during lecture, actually study it, and you should get a great that reflects your work. I've taken her twice now.

Mrs. Clement is literally the BEST professor I've ever had. She can be hard but she gives the best lectures and has the best stories. Its hard not to be interested, even if you aren't a criminal justice major. Go to every class, take write down EVERYTHING she says, and STUDY, and you'll do good. Clement gave me the worst grade of my life, but she was and still is the best teacher I've ever had. I lost 30% off of every test because I wrote my ID number wrong on every one :I. Regardless, she saved me from failing the class because I was never absent. She takes notice of these things, do extra credit and she'll be more likely to help you out.

Theresa is a fantastic professor. I would recommend her more so than any of my other teachers. 101 was the most enlightening class I've ever taken in my life, and everyone that you learn is at least somewhat applicable. Let me tell you how to study for this class: take meticulous notes and write down everything she says (yes, everything), re-type your notes twice, then make a Quizlet including everything in your notes. Her tests are usually 30 questions from the text and 5 book questions. Whatever you do, you need to study the notes you take in class because the test questions come directly from the notes. if you don't take notes in class you will fail every test. But shes entertaining so you'll want to listen to what she says.

As a CJ major, this was the hardest CJ class I took in four years, but its also the class I learned the most in. Clement is funny and knows her stuff, but you will have to work hard in this class. There's only a midterm and a final, and its set up just like a law school class. Come to class ready to speak up, and if you skip, you will not pass.

I took both criminal justice 101 and criminal law from her and she was the best professor I ever had. Her classes are challenging but extremely interesting and if you do the reading and write EVERYTHING that she says down and study the notes, there's a good chance you'll get a good grade. Easily the hardest and best professor I have ever had. Took law with her last semester, courts this semester, and procedure next semester. You have to take super great notes, but you will learn so much. 2 pop quizzes that are automatic hundreds for being in class. Take her, you will NOT regret it. I love Professor Clement as a teacher but in addition to the long lectures, she also puts five random questions from the textbook on each exam. Exams are very short so it's hard to get a grade you are pleased with. My highest exam grade was a B and I acknowledge myself as a good student. I've taken Clement for three classes and she's one of my favorite profs. Her class IS difficult, don't get it twisted. You have to attend class and you MUST study for her exams. Clements CRJU101 was the best lecture class I had ever had. You have to listen and take notes because she does not use power points. Therefore if you dont show up then you wont pass. It was a hard class to take and definitely had to work for the grade but totally worth it

let me be real clear, this woman is a national treasure and should be protected at all costs. taking this class will make you understand and appreciate the law more, BUT you have to be willing to put in the work, study, listen, type fast and DO NOT skip class. seriously. you will love her and she is a good decision for any CRJU class.

Clement inspired me to become a lawyer. She is the best. Hilarious and so caring. She is retiring after summer courses and I am devastated. She taught me a lot. Thankful for the time I did get with her! I will never forget to "Be Kind"

Clement is an amazing professor, and I've now taken three of her classes. She is by far my favorite professor I have had at USC. Attendance is mandatory, but she is hilarious and her lectures are worth attending.

Be ready to take some solid notes because the questions on her tests are very specific. She gives all the information you need, but it can be overwhelming (even though it is a 101 class). Make sure that you read the syllabus and prepare for the syllabus quiz.

Honestly the best professor I think Ill ever have and UofSC made a huge mistake of not trying harder to make her stay. I dont know if shes still teaching anywhere but she was always entertaining. The test are hard and you have to read a lot but if you take good notes, youll do fine. Clement is my spirit animal and I miss her everyday.

Probably one of the funniest professors on the entire campus. She loads her lectures with a bunch of anecdotes that make you genuinely look forward to them. The course is moderately rigorous but not too hard as long as you take notes.
