Professor Janeczek is wonderful professor and is available if you need her for help.
Completely useless, a horrible teacher.
Great teacher. She spends time getting to know her students. She's always available and knows her subject well. I really enjoyed this class.
Great teacher, helpful, and easy to get along with.
She is a very, very strict about the words you use in discussion posts!! Be careful, even words you think are okay to use are not. She does not give a general outline of what topics, chapters, etc. you are covering when and not even an estimate of when to plan for exams. Because of this I had to rate her low for clarity.
She's okay. Not bad but not my favorite teacher either. Her class does require a lot of work and her exams are also pretty hard. However, if you do all the homeworks(which are really easy) and study,its a pretty easy class. Overall if you have to take her, take her. But if you have a better choice then go with someone else. :)
In regards to the person that said to watch your language in her class, I believe you were in my class & the language you used was completely inappropriate & out of line. She is a wonderful teacher. If you did poorly, then you didn't use her help when not understanding something & that's your fault, not hers. Stop blaming teachers for your problems
Class material very interesting and helpful for career growth. Professor J was vry unavailale to not only myself but as i looked at the posts during class to all the students of my class.
Took online psy course. Really liked it - prof always responded to me and was helpful - material very useful for work and life.. recommend this course
Took her "psychology" class, only to find out she had it cross listed and was actually was a HR course. Was pissy if you were late, but was almost ALWAYS atleast 5min late. Pass on this prof if you have the chance

She is very good and helpful professor with professional experience. If you want to get "A", just read chapters, do all assignments (easy),most of them online on blackboard. She loves when you share your life stories related to the topic of discussion. You can share anything, don't be shy.

Okay professor. She's nice and does a decent job of explaining things. She overburdens with assignments though. Its quite a lot for one class. She is also slow to get back to you and hard to get a hold of in the first place. Other than that she's not too hard.
First, last, only class i will ever take with her. Online course was never utilized properly, convoluted set-up, NO FEEDBACK ever! Just throws assignments at you to see if you will sink or swim. Only reason I'm passing is because I know the subject inside and out already. Of the six professors I've had online shes the worst.
She was great. Extremely responsive and helped me in alot of ways. Easy to talk to. Will take more classes with her. Great class.
Very disorganized and unresponsive. Grading took over a month, deadlines were hidden/missing, and it would take weeks to respond to e-mails, if you get a response. Don't take this class if you actually want to learn anything. The group project assigned is horrible because people don't pull their weight. I don't recommend this class at all.
Terrible teacher. She is unresponsive and not helpful! She does not grade in time and just posts work online without teaching or participating. Her exams are terribly long and barely can finish in time. Skip her as a teacher if you can. This would have been a great class if they found the right teacher.
Stay away from her unless you want to learn nothing! She takes weeks to grade and responds to emails after a week. Took her for 2 semesters unfortunately and it was not by choice, she's the only one who teaches this class and entrepreneurship. She just posts material & never provides feedback! If you have to take her class do not take her online!
She is my favorite professor - love her. Always is responsive and is there for you. She helped me with another class that wasn't even hers. She cares about her students. Class isn't hard but you have to do all the work. Take her if you can.
I just started my second online class with her because hers was so organized and a great class. She has weekly lists for all that's do. She was great - always got back to me - met with her. But - you have to do the work. She doesnt accept late work - so you can't miss a week. But I liked the class structure a lot and would recommend it.
Why she teaches I dont know. Pointless class and terrible professor. She never responded to my emails and didnt seem to care about students. Also, there is SO much outdated info and material online. She tells students to use correct spelling and grammar when she made plenty mistakes herself. Take another class if you can!
Super easy class. Just do your work every week and you'll be fine. My only problem is that she never responded to my emails and the grading criteria is unclear. Also, tell me how I received my final grade but she never graded our group project? Doesn't make sense to me! Take a better class with a better professor!
Had her online course. Was great. She was helpful and responsive. You have to do all the work. Discussion boards count - a lot. If you've confused - reach out to her - she'll tell you what to do. Will take her again. Students respond well to her.
Really liked the class. She's great - cares about you. But you have to do the work. It's easy but if you skip your work she doesn't let you make it up. And she helped me a lot with advising.
Best teacher I've ever had hands down
She is a great lady and 4/5 teacher in my opinion. People complain that she doesn't respond and isn't helpful. However, all the dates and information is there. YOU should look to solve the problems/questions YOU have and use your teachers as a last resort. That is what initiative is. If you're in a business program, start self-learning/looking.
This Professor really helped me out! She is a reasonable person, if you don't do your work thats your problem. She is always willing to met with and always responds to my emails. If you do your work and come to class on time your fine, just don't slack off.
Really enjoyed her course. She is fair and spends extra time with you. She offers help sessions and gives you her time. Show up to class - attendance matters.
Left her class one day crying because of the disrespect I have received from her. Will discriminate against a student at first glance without giving them a chance to show who they are as a person. YOU can show up to class late because she is AT MINIMUM 5 minutes late to every class. 3/4 of my class has dropped due to her and not the curriculum.
She is a good professor, we get off topic a lot in her class but we learn what we need to through out the class. Don't skip her class or it will be a battle trying to catch up. Great teacher and I'd definitely take her for another class again.
Had her three times and really like her. She respects her students a lot. Will help you with advising, scholarship recommendations. Gets to know you. Take her if you can - but don't miss class. Attendance really matters. And she will hint at whats on test, if you are in class you hear it. Really nice teacher.
Takes weeks to grade assignments, posts exams without the exam and then posts it again but doesn't change the due date, and refuses to admit when she made a mistake unless it's blatantly obvious. She is incredibly disorganized, actually posted assignments for the wrong chapters, skipped chapters and then gave us assignments that required them.
Took the online class. It was easy - just have to do everything. She puts up a weekly folder - follow it. It's clear with due dates - so pretty easy to navigate. No makeup work though - so dont get behind , so just follow week to week and you'll be fine. Always got right back to me if you have questions.. Good professor. She's nice.
Taking my second online class with her. Everything is clear - really like her structure - she goes week to week. She puts everything for the week up on Wednesday and our week started Thursdays - so it's even up early. I would recommend her. Her online classes are some of the best ones. Very helpful when you have questions.
I would not recommend her. She is so disorganized and gets off topic every class, hardly covers relevant info. She insists that you show up on time yet is late on many occasions. She input several incorrect grades into blackboard and never responded to my emails to fix! If you want a teacher, who actually teaches anything, choose another one.
This class was life changing. Take it if you get the chance. She puts so much into the class and lecture. Gets everyone engaged. Topics relate to life and business. One class I will really use. She always has a line of students after class because everything wants to talk with her. She gives them all her time. This class fills up quick.
I LOVED her! She's super down to earth and her lectures are really helpful! She wants you to pass and actually cares about you. You definitely want to show up on time. All the homework is on black board which makes it super simple to keep track of what needs to be done. And if you study for the exams you'll get an easy A. I recommend her.
Great Teacher
She seemed very strict the first day, but that's just because she actually expects you to work. Show up on time, she hates tardiness. She's actually incredibly sweet, she cares so much about her students. If you're respectful and work hard, she reciprocates. She teaches business classes so she expects you to act like a professional business student
Took Marketing online with this professor. It was easy enough, but there was plenty of homework for every chapter. Once you get the hang of it, the coursework isn't bad, but it is hard to figure out in the beginning. She is really a caring, nurturing, and giving teacher, but I didn't love her teaching style.
I took this class on campus and loved her the first month. However, she often went off topic and I found her difficult to communicate with. DO NOT BE LATE TO CLASS. I learned a lot from this class and got a good grade, but that was mostly from reading the textbook. She is a caring teacher, though, and really wants her students to succeed.
Really liked her online class. Heard good things about it, and it was true. It was clear and if you have questions she'll get right back to you. The content was great. I learned alot more than I expected because it was about how to better handle situations. I would recommend this class to anyone not just business students. Great class.
You'll take 4 exams where a lot of Qs are not even found in the book provided,It's like they were compiled from an even older edition of the textbook;She doesn't fail to complement her students and lay on charm thick, but when it comes to content, her lectures& org are lacking,No slides,handouts,&resources;It's like she freestyles everyday, Cringey
Really liked her class. She cares about her students, she'll help you with advising too. You learn so much about the economy and current events. I changed my major to Marketing because of her. Tests are easy if you study, right from the book and her lectures. There's class activities and projects about whats happening now. great class
Had great experience with her. Straight forward. You'll learn alot and she expects you to participate and be there. Uses current material and news events. So its very informative. Complete all work or ask questions. She's very helpful and will help with whatever. She came recommended and I will also recommend.
Just took her for accelerated summer. Surprised by how much I learned and got out of a shorter course. Liked her style, very organized, weekly work. She even puts stuff up early so you can get going on it. She grades quickly and gives you feedback. Always got back to me quickly when I had questions. Lots of work though. But overall good class.

Prof. Janeczek's online marketing class was great. The assignments are clear, and if you do the work, you will learn a lot. She is a responsive and caring professor to boot. Definitely recommend taking her class.
This professor shows up late to class frequently, but will call you out for being late or going to the bathroom in front of class. The class is easy enough if you do the work. She does not admit if she is wrong and is kind of disorganized. Overall not a bad class. lectures, assignments, and exams are heavily from the book.
I had professor Janeczek for Marketing and Organizational Behavior. She was typically late to class, brought no materials with her, and would just ramble on about her personal life and pop culture while occasionally tossing in info from the textbook. Homework and quizzes are online and the due dates and types of assignments will change frequently.
Professor Janeczek is, without exaggeration, the worst professor I have had at MCC. She requires that you attend every single class and will berate you for being late, but is usually late herself and doesn't cover any content from the book in class. She drops mountains of assignments on you every week and does not allow makeups or late submissions.
This was the best class I had all year. She is so organized,helpful and smart. Her class was the most organized of all my classes when all this happened. Her information is invaluable. I would take it even if it's not your major. You'll love it. The work challenges you but is easy enough if you have the time. She was never late to our class.
One of the best professors at MCC. Take her if you can, but register early, her classes fill up real fast.

Professor Janeczek was often late to class, but would humiliate students in front of everyone if they were late - she even didn't let a student in one time. I have had her for both an in-person and online class and she did not respond to a single email I sent for both classes. Her classes are easy but not worth the poor professionalism.

The class was very easy but the instructor was very rude and disrespectful to the students. She does not respond to communications in a reasonable amount of time. This teacher struggles to properly use Blackboard.
Where to begin, in a pandemic this professor clearly does not prioritize responding to her student's emails. I never got a response I sent in September!!! She was so helpful this semester. She kept sending us inspiring emails and really wanted us to do well. And gave extensions if you asked. It was a good class and this teacher puts in extra time for her students.

Class very organized. She responds quickly if you have any questions, just email her. Usually gets back to within the hour or two. I would take again. Class easy to follow. The pace is even workload, so not too bad, just don't get behind. She's helps with advising too. Keeps us informed of college stuff.
I have sent multiple emails to Professor Janeczek and over the course of the semester have not received a single response. Our final project was the only assignment that wasn't bookwork, and the instructions involving it were very vague. No rubrics, no examples, nothing ... and obviously, the professor couldn't be reached to answer questions

I took her for Marketing in the fall and she barely replied to any of my emails so completely ghosted her students. Every week we had to do like 4 different things and sometimes it would be difficult to understand the assignments.
This professor is the absolute worst for online classes. This girl has no idea how to check her email. Girl also has no idea how to calculate final grades at all. I have sent her 4 emails now about my final grade and all she said was "check my grades in blackboard". who let this girl into the school?? Go ahead professor, dislike this comment lol.
This teacher is the most responsive teacher I've ever had. She responds back to you always within the day and most times within the hour. She is helpful and her class was great. Take her if you want to learn and want a teacher that cares.

This class was very clearly laid out online. I took this class during the summer so the work load was more than the regular semester but I found it not to be stressful at all. This class is a lot of your own opinions so there is no getting it wrong.

She was an AWESOME professor, despite my rating of her. She was extremely informative and fun. The reason why she has a bad grade is because I got Covid at the end of the semester and she did not respond to ANY of my emails. I missed the final and part of the final project and she failed to communicate with me when I was sick. Only bad thing
She doesn't respond to emails and she doesn't go through her PowerPoint slides for the course I took because she is obsessed with football. We always get out early and I'm not completely sure what we're supposed to know. I'm doing okay but I feel so lost in her class. She'll let us out early without completely explaining the chapter. Gave us food
Professor Janeczek prioritizes grades and makes no effort to ensure students due well in class. Aside from that, Very strict grading with little exception. Not easily accessible via email. She removes assignments from blackboard minutes after due date passes. This takes away the chance for students to look back on their assignments.

This professor gets back to you quickly and is helpful. She wants you to do well. Her class is very organized and a good online class to take. I learned more than I thought I would and actually enjoyed the class. The topics are good for getting along with people at work. Everyone should take this class.
This professor does not respond to inquiry when reached out to for support. Over the course of a week I reached out three times regarding help with work, and the response I received after a week of waiting was along the lines of "too bad". I will not take this instructor again, as they do not seem to care about the wellbeing of their students.
This professor does return your emails. I just took her Human Relations class and I think I emailed her about 10 times and I heard back 1 out of the 10 emails I sent. Her instructions can be very unclear sometimes. Definitely have a friend in the class to try and figure things out together.

Her use of backhanded/passive-aggressive comments is quite unprofessional and disrespectful. Made the class feel uncomfortable and awkward when she was making a fit about due dates. Her instructions are unclear, work is disorganized, and fails to be responsive to emails. Showing up to her class is a waste of time, but she grades by attendance too.
One best classes I took. She works with you. Let me make up work. Not sure how you don't do well with her. Can tell she really cares and helps you. Helped me with my classes to take. Really liked the course.
Easy course. If you need to pass, take her online class. No textbook requirement. Assignments are discussion posts with 1 response and short 1-2 paragraph essay responses to given material. Final project is a marketing plan ppt on a company of your choice.

I had Mrs. Janeczek for two classes this semester. I did well in both her MKTG and BMGT classes, both were easy if you participate and attend class. If you show up and do the work the best you can, your grade and her accommodations will reflect that. Cares about her students a lot.

Great professor who genuinely cares about her students. Assignments were spread out, exams were taken online at home, and there was a group project due at the end. Lots of extra credit opportunities and she was always willing to extend due dates if the class asked. I really enjoyed this class.
