She is hot and very good/knowledgable with her stuff, Xcept for the hardware in the class (projectoR). Emphasis on her being HOT!

Interesting class. More of a social science class than business. She was straigtforward, nice, and helpful. Exams are slightly easier than average. Louie keeps track of class participation, so be prepared to talk here and there. Highly recommened. :)

Terese is a very good teacher. She comes off very intense for the first few weeks, but as she settles into the class, she starts to relax. Doing well on project is a must, and tests are pretty difficult, but use notes and you will do fine.

The examples that she uses in class to relate the course material to the real world were very helpful. I thought her class was pretty easy as long as you take good notes and do well on the group project.

VERY clear in lectures and class assignments. A strict disciplinarian who does not suffer back-of-the-class gabbers. Follow the syllabus instructions closely on the group project and you should do fine. Tight little body too!

She was such an outstanding instructor. She took the time to lecture about relevant facts about life after college, and the things that really help you succeed in getting the job and sustaining it-unlike most professors. She used very useful examples.

I agree with what everyone else said; she's intimidating at first but she's cool. This class is cake. Lectures are unlike any other class; they don't put you to sleep! And if you think her tests are hard, you must be missing half a brain.

She's a little strict, but easy as long as you pay attention. Most of the assignments are simple, exams are straighforward, and there's one group presentation (6 people talking for 20 mins).

She may come off as a hard ass but boy can she teach! I'd recommend her any day of the week. You'd be suprised how much you learn in that class.

She is a tough grader and very PICKY. Pay attention to what she wants or she'll lose her cool. Remember, no staples!! She doesn't give students the benefit of a doubt,so don't try. I wonder if she is bitter for being single at her age? Anyway, you'll learn A LOT from her, despite all the grief.

Louie is still the best!! She is a lot more fun in Bus 138, although the video project can be annoying. She's very helpful and grades fair.

DETAIL ORIENTED is the best way to describe louie! She is a very awesome professor, very organized, and really does an excellent job on breaking down the terms in ways the the students can relate to them. She is HUGE on participation, and keeps the classes very interesting. BUT if you are not a good test taker, her tests may hurt you.

Prof Louie is one of my favorite teachers at SJSU. She's very picky about her assignments, I agree. But she's also a great lecturer cuz she gives tons of life examples. I enjoyed the class and the teaching style. Not the best option in the department but a good choice and a fair grader.

Wonderful teacher. Uses a lot of examples, videos, & real products even when it's not needed. Very anal retentive, but with every step spelled out to you it's hard NOT to do well on the assignments. 1MT and a final that counts as MT2, with lots of mini-HW and in-class work for more credit.

Very anal about possibly everything. Lectures can be interesting with the use of many real life examples. She tends to tell a lot of her own stories. The class is very organized. 2 Exams and an easy group project. Tons of mini in class assignments. Wants every student to speak at least once. Don't bother buying the text either!

Very good teacher. Lectures are always interesting and she incorporates a lot of video clips and real-life examples. Be sure to talk a lot to get a good participation grade. Group project and tests aren't too hard. Copy down ALL her notes because the 80% of the test questions are from there.

Professor Louie is very intimidating and anal the first couple weeks of the semester but then she becomes super cool and makes lectures interesting. Make sure you write every single note down and really listen to her instructions. Read the notes and also study those subjects in the book. Tests are hard to study well for them. Talk A LOT in class.

Just study straight of the over head notes, don't really need her book and speak as participation counts a lot in her class. I learned a lot from her, she seems mean @ first but she has a great personality.

She is a well organized teacher. Her lecture materials and examples are very interesting. If you go to class and take good notes, you will do well in her exam.

Dr.Louie is one of the best professor at SJSU.You will learn alot about your classmates and things you can really use in the real world. There are alot of in class assignments (so attend class), but it's fun and easy. Take good notes and you'll do fine. Hand-down my favorite class.Strongly recommended.

Take this teacher!! She basically tells you exactly what she expects, no surprises. Very structured and you can tell she puts in extra time to make it easier and more enjoyable for her students. No group projects either.

This class is not bad at all. Lectures were interesting..but she is very anal about turning in HW ON TIME! She deducts points for turning it in 1 min late. Tests were kind of hard because she never gave study guides. Her lecture were the notes which I found hard to study from. Everything else is straight forward. Gives xtra credit opportunities!

Don't bother buying the text. Do come to every class, listen, follow instructions, speak up, and write down the slides. Do this and you will pass the class without a problem. She doesn't tolerate distractions so mute your phone, stop talking with your neighbor, and show up on time (unless you like being verbally chastised). She is a fun teacher to listen to, and a curious one to observe. I wonder if she has OCD based on her habits (you'll see it day 1 with the index card instructions).

I really enjoyed this teacher. If you do what she asks(which isn't much) you will do fine. Just study your notes, go to class and its easy. She is a great professor and everyone should take her!

She claims she doesn't read this here goes...by the 2nd exam you've been rated, meaning by the 2nd exam where you sit is your current grade in the class. Seating chart, be prepared to sit in the exact seat every class except exam days she picks your seat. Again she rates her students, A's sit in the back on exam days and the low grades, front row!

Therese Louie is awesome!She emphasizes on teaching things that actually apply to the working world.She is so nice and very organized.If you want to do well, show up to class and write everything on her slides down.Definitely sit in the front row.She does take off points for doing little things incorrectly so be detail oriented!

Her class isn't hard, and it isn't boring. She is sooo OCD about everything though. If you don't follow instructions on how she wants you to turn things in she gets really mad, but most of the time she is super sweet and funny. Print out all her handouts and they will help you study for the midterms. She wants you to succeed.

Class itself was easy & interesting. She does call on you randomly, but questions asked are easy. I found her exams to be difficult, lots of conceptual q's that I struggled with despite studying slides/notes everyday. No hw, grade is exams/easy in-class assignments/participation (when she calls on you). good at exams=good grade.

She is pretty cool teacher. No textbook needed for the class so you get to save money there. She prevents cell or laptop use so at least everyone is focused instead of facebooking like with some other professors. She is strict and expects a lot but overall the class is easy. fairly easy class, just read the power points. attendance wise; she calls on people on her attendance sheet but once she calls you, pretty much dont have to show up after that but you might miss easy assignments. 3 exams that are multiple choice and non cumulative worth 28% each and the rest of the points from participation. the best part no book!

She is very sweet. If you reach out to her, she is willing to help you as much as she can. She is very smart and knowledgeable. She is strict about attendance, late work, cheating, which sometimes makes me annoying cuz she repeats over and over again. You will have multiple HW and extra credits. NO TEXTBOOK! Her midfinals are from ppt.

The lecture actually pretty interesting and she emphasized main points. No textbook, lecture based on the slides but the lecture can be really long. I never missed the class and got full points on homework and participation but exam(3) were tough. I thought I did okaygood, but only get 80-85 each test which not an A. Ugghh

Very organized, straight forward, professional and well prepared lecturer. If you take Louie there aren't any surprises. She goes over slides in class which translates directly to the exams. She uses canvas/email efficiently to keep her students up to date. She can be very strict and come off a little strong, which may turn some people off.

She has no textbook which is awesome and she does an awesome job of going over everything. Her tests are fair but she includes stuff from movies in class so pay attention. She's really organized but she's really sweet. Super fun and interesting class.

She was a very straightforward professor and had very practical teaching methods. The lectures were very easy to keep up with and easy to understand because she used everyday examples. However, I caution there aren't many things graded on so do all the homework and show up for in class participation. The tests were based on lecture not very hard.

No textbooks used. On the first day she told us you can pass with an A with just her printed notes. All the notes are in canvas. Grade based on exams, but if you study her notes you should be fine. Just memorize the terms on her notes and you get an A.

Anyone who says her class is confusing or unclear is wrong. Professor Louie was extremely detail oriented and made it clear that if you study her slides you will pass exams. I got an 89, 90, and an 85 on her tests just from studying the slideshows, and there are only a few homework assignments. Overall a great class.

Best professor I've taken in Marketing. She seems strict as first but as long as you follow her deadlines and instructions, you should be good. All lectures and no projects so grades depend on the exams so don't fck up. She does not require a book. All exams are based on powerpoints. If you want an easy class, take her.

Initially youll think shes too particular and up-tight, but then she has reasonable explanations why she does things the way she does: for peak efficiency. She also seeks to help students have the most efficient class: the least amount of work for the most amount of learning. I really appreciate that! Shes funny and engaging and I recommend her.

I feel she's misunderstood by many. Shes does have a certain way of doing things but the class is much better with the way she has it structured. This professors lectures are genuinely interesting and the class never felt long. She respects students time by assigning little homework but because of this most of the grade will come from the 3 exams and final. The exams are easy IF you study. The professor is enthusiastic about teaching marketing, which doesn't always make the class boring. 2 midterms and 1 final, based on lecture notes most of the time. Also has a few assignments. I didn't study much but got by it. She encourages participation as she gives extra points to those who do.

Prof Louie's teaching style is very straightforward, and you can tell that she loves what she does. Everything is based off of her lectures so attendence is important. Her exams make up the bulk of your grade but are pretty easy if you study. She's funny and pretty thoughtful but may seem cold at first. Great teacher!

Very fun professor, clear interest in the course which makes it worth it to attend lecture (which you should do if you want a good grade on exams). Straightforward grading criteria, if you score less than 100 on assignments, you did not read through rubric. Exams are exactly what's discussed during lecture. I would recommend and would take again.

Three exams, all MCQ, no cheatsheet allowed, and lockdown browser. Pay attention to videos shown in class, they will be tested on the exams.

she was one of the most engaging professors i've had. she had very current examples that kept the lectures refreshing. tests were hard af and made up like 60 or 70% of the final grade. at first i thought she was stuck up and rude, but she's just a very logical person and wants everyone to be as logical as her.
