it seems that she is always annoyed with her students if they cant keep up, but she moves so fast. her personality is great but if you dont know what you're doing you'll be lost all the time. also there is way too much unnecessary work for a 101 course.

One of IUP's worst. She was completely unwilling to help, completely unwilling to slow her frenetic pace when students had questions, and completely unresponsive to the fact that the class was having a very hard time learning the material.

I hated this teacher more than anything. Fire her right now.. Terrible teacher.

Very boring but knowlegeable. Her final is worth 300 points and she also grades other assignments very heavily she won't help you and if you don't completely dedicate yourself to her class your lettergrade will drop dramatically. If you like a fast-paced class she's definitely the one for you.

Absolute worst. She never gives feedback to students. Do not take any classes with her. She is also quite rude with students.

This woman can be quite blunt and rude at times. She has said rude things to me, therefore I do not respect her in the least bit. Avoid her if you can! Class is useless unless you plan to pursue a career in Computers. She piles on work, and never answers questions. Do not recommend at all!

She was the most annoying teacher I have ever taken in college. This class is suppose to be a simple requirement and she turned it into a grad course basically. So much unnecessary work. I found myself devoting all of my time to this one class instead of my major classes because of how much work she assigns. I ADVISE ALL TO TAKE SOMEONE ELSE!!!!!!

She is very prompt with her responses to emails. I did however, have a hard time receiving help and guidance from this Professor. If you depend on going to the Professor for questions, help, guidance, etc., be prepared to receive smart and sometimes rude responses back and her reluctancy to help. Not good for new students.

She's rude condescending & sarcastic. A insane amount of work and for what? The final is double grade so if you fail that it will drag you down. Her grading system is designed (BY HER) to disappoint you just to satisfy her evil sense of superiority. She WILL drive you insane! You'll work like a dog for a C or D! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, SAVE YOURSELF!!

Doesn't teach the class, uses oddly specific subjects for you to research, which leads to everyone's presentation sounding the same. Will dock you 5 points if you forget a space in your paper. (Not that extreme but still, the format is graded harder than the content) Your grade relies on your classmate's presentation not sucking .Good luck

Honestly, I don't really know where to say anything good. She never teaches, always expects perfection out of research papers that are so far out of the ordinary that you don't know what to write about. Along with "Boundaries" book assignments that require a specific layout, it's very hard to get a DECENT grade in her Cyber Wellness course.

It is honestly super easy to get an A in this class because she gives you super easy assignments that are just busy work. she is super specific on formatting. She gave me a 0/100 for doing extra work on a quiz. Because of her being so specific I currently have a C in the class, but this class could be so much easier if you have a lot of time.

The class work is not that hard but there is so much busy work. I didn't have enough time for it at all. I took it online as a liberal studies elective and ended up dropping it because there is not enough time to do her work with all my other classes. Some of the assignments are also confusing on how to format and submit things. Do not recommend.

Way too much HW for class at this level. Does not care about content of work only formatting. Instructions are confusing and on top of that shes a tough grader Would never recommend class to anyone

Absolute worst class I have ever taken. Ungodly amount of homework and dated information about the internet. Talks down to you, barely explains projects and forces you to write a paper a week for a 100 level course that fills a Dimensions of Wellness requirement. I'd expect this kind of coursework from at least a 300 level writing intensive course.

class felt like an ill-prepared pyramid scheme. would not recommend. 0 boundary reports out of 10. f tier.

Literally the worst professor I have to date. She was very confusing in all of her instructions and then was a hard grader. How can you be picky when you don't explain anything? She also emails way too often and kind of bothers you, and very weird with Moodle replies. Only plus side is she does email back quick since she never explains it well.

the worst professor I've ever had. doesn't take into consideration that students have other classes and lives. 3+ assignments a week. instructions are always unclear and is rude when you email her questions about her instructions. grading never makes sense half the time. an easy class to take, but she should maybe look into a different profession.

O'Neil is the most repulsive professor i have ever experienced. She does nothing but make class boring and miserable. She also grades everything based on her own opinion and will grade everything different. You can do exactly what someone else did and got an A and get a C. She has personally told me my project was excellent and then given me a 70%.

Plays major favors. I am convinced everyone who gave her a good review was treated very differently than some of us. Almost every paper, no matter how hard some people try, they always got a negative comment. Also, she would pick and choose who's posts she would critique for everyone to see. Some who did the same thing wrong got excellent reviews.

Everyone who's saying Therese O'Neil is a good professor must have just gotten hit in the head or something, or they have no life outside of this class. I took this class two times, both with her, despite my best efforts, and it is just nothing but mindless, empty busywork. And she's tech illiterate. And just incredibly condescending. Avoid.

you have to write papers about a book. this is not an engish class. on top of that, why are we presenting every other week? not to mention, if you miss one day, you have to research the topics on your own just so you wont get a failing grade. she does not teach anything and makes the other students teach for her (presentations). Do not take her.

1. The class is very tedious, I found that I was doing more work in this class than my 400 level courses, however I was not learning anything. 2. The teacher is disrespectful to students, I watched her yell (yes actually yell) at students for asking questions. 3. The syllabus is more of a guideline for this teacher and is followed very vaguely.

I dont recommend taking her because she doesn't know what she's it talking about half the time but the online quizes were easy because all the answers were on soc. Most of the labs take long and they are confusing.

I literally cannot stress how much I dislike this professor, I do more work on this online class than I do for my major required courses. Also making you reply to 30 other discussion boards or else toy fail your assignment. Do not take her.

This professor makes you do alot for a 101 class. It's ridiculous how she makes you do all these assignments and when taking the quizzes, you need to show proof from the book by listing the page number.There are weekly assignments and quizzes.This class stressed me out more than the classes that are important for my major. I do not recommend.

Terribly run asynchronous course. cannot time manage to save her life usually had a week to do a paper and half that week was over the weekend. She gave us 3 1/2 days to do a 7-page final. The content of this course is useless and trivial at best. you can definitely benefit from a different dimension of wellness course.

She sucks

We were expected to write 8 different 1-2 page research papers and an extra 6 page final research paper within 30 days and we had to watch instructional videos for each, and respond via discussion to every other paper from the 20 other people in the class. We also had to have topics approved before the due dates or would just instantly fail. Awful.

This professor his horrible, she emails everyone associated with you (advisors, navigators) your business and she is not the most caring individual. This professor (I use the term loosely) is all about herself and not the students. I do not recommend taking her at all I would honestly wish IUP would review this professor and fire her.

Awful. The course was busywork like replying to 30 peers, with information taken from random sources. She treats students poorly, and when unwarranted. She doesn't like students asking questions, and don't ask her if you can turn anything in even an hour late, because she will act like you made a mockery of a substantive class (which it isn't).

I think she truly believes that she is smarter than what she is that's why she treats students like she does. She need to teach at the level the class is. She teaches a 100 level class like its a certification course in Microsoft (its not). Honestly so sick of these boomer tenured professors that can't be fired when they deserve to be.

DONT TAKE A CLASS WITH HER. SHE PUTS IN GRADES MONTHS LATE AND CONSTANTLY MESSES UP GRADES. YOU NEVER KNOW YOUR TRUE GRADE. Before finals, my grade appeared to be at a point where I was going to fail even if I got a 100% on finals, so I didnt try. THEN SHE ADDED A BUNCH OF GRADES FROM MONTHS AGO AND I COULD'VE PASSED IF I TOOK THE FINALS.

Worst prof ever! She doesn't know how to use computers. She only answers questions with a question, and didn't respond to half my emails. She looks like Edna from The Incredibles, but is much less cool. Take a different professor who actually knows how to teach comp sci.

DO NOT TAKE HER FOR THIS CLASS. I had a 94% but she randomly changed it to a 87%. Makes no sense.

She just doesn't teach what so ever the whole class is making a project then presenting it the next week, and writing papers outside of class each week. If you do the work it's easy just a lot of busy work so she doesn't have to actually teach anything.
