Great Professor

The most Benefical about this course was about she went threw each chapter with us and taught us how to find the answers step by step, every step of the way. She really cared about her students passing out and doing well. Good teacher.

The class interaction. Professor Nguyen is an amazing professor. She helped me to become a better student and helped me find an easier way to study pass her exams. I enjoyed the course very much.

She is a very good teacher. I like the way she related the topics to life situations to better understand the theories of Psychology. She never gives up on her students, so no one should give up on her. I learned a lot from the course.

This professor was awesome! I found her lectures to be interesting and insightful. She was super funny and very open about herself. She understood situations and made accommodations. She was also generous with her grading with extra credit. I wish she was teaching more classes at Fsw!

I took her class last Fall. The assignments and exams were quite easy. If you show up and follow the study guides, you will pass. She was kind and helpful. She was reasonable and willing to help you out.

There are a lot of work. But it is not hard to get an A if you attend her lectures and finish the assignments. She is super nice and passionate. I learned a lot from this course. I would definitely to take her again if given the chance.

She is an amazing teacher. She has an accent and I realized for some people that's a road block for them yet for me it was not difficult to understand. She is very engaging. She actually cares about you as a student and your grade. There are not a lot of professors who will go out their way the way she does. Be attentive + prioritize the classwork!

Very sweet, smart, and fun. Knows what she's talking about, nothing is on the tests that she didn't teach you. English isn't her first language but she's still witty and funny.

There is a small language barrier, so you have to listen to her carefully. She is very nice and will encourage you if needed. She does give study guides which you practice before taking an exam. All in all I would certainly take her class again

this class is very interactive. the professor uses multiple techniques such as videos, slides, group projects, and group discussions to keep the class very interesting. she uses multiple teaching techniques to incorporate all of her students. the love she has for her students shows through every class.

She was the BEST professor I have ever had! Her great attitude while teaching inspired my entire class o participate, pay attention, and actually learn! I actually looked forward to attending her lectures every! Single time! Group projects were always fun and interesting. The way she teaches the class allows you to put it in real life situations.

Study guides will save your life. Do them. Group projects happen often. She is Vietnamese so if you arent good with accents it might make it difficult. But you can get by easily with just doing the assignments and study guides (everything in the test is in the study guides. Very few things are based on lecture). This is a very easy course.

There is a slight language barrier but she is such a caring Professor who really cares about her students. Her heart is so big but she is a tough grader. 4 group projects and lots of quizzes and individual assignments. You make suggestions for her and she will work on it. I love how great she is and I wish her the best of luck

She is a good teacher

English is not her first language so it could be hard to understand. Other than that, it was a great class.

She has a strong accent but she manages to interact with her students very well during the class which make everyone happy and help everybody to be successful.

Dr. Nguyen is my favorite professor this semester. The lectures were very informative and useful. The class was so interactive. I enjoyed it a lot! Highly recommend!

She answers emails pretty fast and doesn't have to be a school day just for her to answer you she's VERY helpful and answers any questions you have keeps you up to date on tests and things to come very caring isn't there just to teach and leave she always assists her students I learned a lot from her is definitely a favorite

Great Professor! This is the best class I ever had. Her teaching methods are very motivating. There were a lots of work (many assignments, four group projects and four exams), but not so hard to get an A. The course was very informative and fun!

Great professor! It is not easy to have a very caring professor like that in the college! She gives hand out assignments, and expects you to know the material very well. Your assignments in class will be graded almost everyday, so you find yourself actually missing the class or not. She makes the atmosphere of the class very enjoyable.

This is my FAVORITE class this semester! Prof Nguyen is such an amazing professor. She really cares about her students. I enjoyed every lecture of this course. I would definitely recommend.

Professor Thi Nguyen If you pass the main 4 exams no need for final Exams are easy study guides are provided for it ... if you are a bad at Psychology and want to pass with an "A" this is the teacher I recommend you. Fun lectures :)

I really like professor Kate, but I found myself bored with her lectures. If you do well on the four exams then you don't have to take the final. She sometimes has pop quizzes in class, online quizzes, she provides study guides that are like the test, and she can go off topic and lose track of time. She has an accent but she works with you.

She is a very insprating professor. I really like group projects. Informative lectures, a lot of work but not so hard. Many opportunities to improve your grade.

Professor Nguyen is sweet, but English is not her first language, so sometimes it is hard to understand, however she is willing to repeat or rephrase things. Her class consists of two group projects, if you participate you will do well. There are four tests, and she will give you study guides which help a lot. If you go to class you will do well.

She is great and responds quickly! Textbook is free online. There are open book quizzes online, and four exams in class. Do the work and show up for class, and you will have nothing to worry about. She cares for her students, and wants to make sure we all understand the subject.

Prof. Nguyen is a very good teacher. She tries her hardest for all of her students to pass. Show up to class, participate, do the quizzes and study guides and you will pass. You get out what you put in. She also offers extra points at the end of the course which is very helpful. People get frustrated with her but that is on their part.

In my opinion, this class was extremely easy. Not only did the professor post her notes onto canvas so that her students can go back and review, but she also gave us study guides that had questions from the actual exams. As long as students do their work on time and completed, people can breeze through this class.

she's a really easy teacher and everything that's taught in the lessons and shown on the study guides is on the exams so it's easy to pass her class and she does give opportunities for extra credit! i loved her class and would recommend it to anyone.

Professor Nguyen is phenomenal! She is very passionate about her job and her students. She wants us to learn and pass with an A. As long as you dont miss more than 2 classes, you will pass. Quizzes online are open textbook, exams all have study guides, and group projects are easy. Seriously best professor I have ever had! She is truly amazing!

She has lots of projects that you can use to boost your grade. Online quizzes that are easy as long as you remember to take all of them before the due date. She also provides study guides for the exams and the EOC exam is optional.

Professor Nguyen made psychology very easy to understand. I learned so many interesting things in psychology. If you show up to class on time you will get a good grade because attendance counts. Only three group projects that are easy. In-class assignments too. I would take her again.

You dont need a textbook for this class its online and be prepared for 3 group projects that are a big grade and having quizzes for each chapter. She also has a ccent so if you cant understand people with accent I dont recommend you take her. Shes pretty fast with the PowerPoint as well. She gives extra point and she wants you to past.

Shes funny, fair, and kind. There are 16 at home quizzes, sometimes quizzes after slides, 4 exams and optional final exam! She has study guides& questions are on exam! We do have 4 group projects that will be presented. Show up early to get points in class. She provides online book. Btw, her accent ISNT hard to understand. I loved her class 3

Very good professor! Very well-organized course! Psychology is not difficult under her instruction, easy to get an A, but you need to do your work (online quizzes, writing, reading), and show up for group discussions, then you will be fine.

Professor Nguyen is truly an educator. You can really tell how engaged & focus she is when trying to teach us! Although our time was cut short in the classroom, she made sure to give us all the help we needed when transferring to an online course due to the virus. I would recommend her to anyone!

She is absolutely amazing. There is many assignments, quizzes, tests and group work. It is a very easy A to get and she understands that this class is most likely not your major. You need to be in class to complete your assignments because that is your attendance grade. At the end, the final is optional.

In my opinion this course adds a lot to my teacher, because I knew that this course would be complicated but she made the course light and made me expand my desire to continue my studies in psychology.

She is phenomenal, show up to class and you will pass! After every paper she gives feedback; she believes in all of her students and wants you to succeed! I would DEFINITELY retake her course!

Definitely recommend! She is an amazing professor. Super caring and hilarious. She wants all of her students to pass. The textbook is free. There are 4 tests in the semester. If you do well in all 4, you don't even need the Final exam. There also have extra credits and makeup assignments. What are you waiting for? Take her!

She have a really strong accent but her assignments are not hard. There are 3 group projects and you do have to present . There are study guides for each chapter that you have to complete. If you study the study guide - youll pass the course

Best class and professor I have ever had at FSW so far. She is so energetic, super cares about students and the subject. Many homework and four exams during the semester, but final exam is optional (awesome!).Pay attention, stay engaged, and do your work, it is easy to get an A.

Her expectations are clear. Her lectures are interesting and funny! She has set up the class for each student to pass and actually learn. If you dont get an A, its simply because you did not try. I personally enjoyed her class and can say she is the best professor Ive ever had.

She is one of the best professors I have had this semester. She is caring, professional and fair. There is a lot of work and reading, but this is reasonable for an online course. Midterm is a little hard as you have to cover 8 chapter, but there is an optional exam can replace your lower previous exam. Lots of opportunities to earn a good grade!

Overall Professor Nguyen is a good educator. She gave enough extra credit to change your grade my 10 points. Although she might take a while to reply to your emails, as long as you read the textbook and take notes you should be fine. I took her online course and all quizzes and tests were open note.

But if you have troubles dealing with deadlines, I will not recommend as late work is not accepted in this course.

Professor Nguyen is a genuinely nice and understanding professor. As long as you do your work and show up to class, you should be able to pass. Only downside is that she can be hard to understand at times.

I 100% recommend this class!! Do the assignments and you'll get an A. Make sure you apply her feedback to future assignments to get used to her grading. Also, if you want an A on the proctorio exams, do her practice quizzes and the review questions at the end of the textbook chapters (it's free don't worry), they will help SO much on the exams.

Professor Nguyen is great! Not too many assignments, plenty of test prep, and she tries to make her lectures interactive and fun. She really wants you to understand psychology. I took her summer A course. It is very meaningful one. My issue is I missed some assignments that dropped my grade; other than that, professor Nguyen is a great educator. If you follow her instructions seriously, and submit your work on time, you will pass with an A.

So we get two group projects but very easy to do though. Dont be scared of her accent if you pay attention and try you will understand her by the end of your first lecture. She like to have interactions in the class so be comfy with talking

Proffesor Nguyen is a very professional and caring instructor that would do her best to make sure you engage and understand the material. However, you have to put in the effort to show up every single day on time and study outside of her classroom. She gives the practice test that are similar but a little different from her test. 10/10 would take.

Professor Nguyen is very kind. She is a bit of a tough grader and will not give you an easy A, but if you see her before or after class, she will explain to you why she gave you that grade and what you can improve on. If you have good attendance and participation in class, she may round up your grade at the end of the semester.

Good Class. If you expect a native English speaker she is not the right one for you. Her instructions are clear, requirements are reasonable with multiple types of assignments and opportunities for you to study and improve your grade as long as you finish your work on time.

All open-book assignments including exams. Quizlet tests with almost no need to read the materials, but for other assignments and exams, you need to prepare, read the material for psychological information. She does not like you to copy from the internet. Show up for classes/or join Zoom meetings, follow her instructions, you will easily get an A.

If you have trouble hearing people (especially with accents), I would avoid Dr. Nguyen. She has a thick accent, and it can be difficult at times to understand her. She is very specific in grading her discussions and essays, but her regular weekly homework is extremely easy. She offers extra credit and does what she can to help you pass.

Took her for lifespan development, honestly wasn't that hard but she's a bit of a tough grader but she gives great feedback. no mid term or final. participate and show up for class, easy high grade.
