Absolutely great professor. He cares about students, very approachable and intelligent. One of the best profs I had - definitely will take another class with him.
a lot of work, but completely worth it
Great professor, lectures are interesting, jokes here and there, makes it enjoyable. Cares about the students. Lots of readings but gives a lot of guidance, so you don't waste your time on unecessary stuff. Definitly would take again.
He is a great teacher, who really seems to care about his course and gives good feedbacks. There is a lot of readings for this class but it really helps. The teacher is involved during the lecture and also have a real sense of humour.
This was my first university class and Thibaud was an incredible professor. He is very enthusiastic about the subject matter and you can tell that he genuinely loves teaching and exchanging ideas. Yes, there are a lot of readings, but they genuinely enhance your understanding of the topics. I would absolutely take one of his classes again!
This is someone who you can tell cares about his student's success. Therefore, everything assigned is helpful toward really understanding the course material. The way he teaches makes you actually want to listen and learn more. Of course this means there is a bit more work than other classes, but it is manageable and definitely worth it.
This is my first semester and he made it such an amazing one! By far one of the best teachers I have ever had. The material is so interesting and he explains it so well... I have nothing bad to day about him or his class!! Also really cute so that always helps lol
Amazing Prof! The course load is heavy but worth it. There are many assignments for the class but it just means that if you do bad on one, you have the opportunity to catch up later. The class can be easy if you attend and pay attention. He speaks loud and clear and will answer all of your questions. I highly recommend taking this course. 10/10
He was amazing and by far one of the best teachers I have ever had. He really cares about his subject matter and students and gives you as many chances as possible to succeed. The structure of his class seems difficult, but helps you actually learn the material instead of cramming for the tests. Take his class it will be awesome.
Not a class to mess around, heavy readings and a lot of work but super interesting and challenging, would definitely take again.
100% would take him - it is self-explanatory ) And yes, please remind him that POLI-205 is an introductory course, we are not PhD students ))
best teacher I've ever had , very smart and makes you want to learn, hard class but totally worth it.
Really enjoyed this class. Prof is really god at giving examples and knows what he is talking about. Always prepared to answer questions and is very accommodating during office hours and during class. No textbook but you have to do the readings online and read over his powerpoints to pass the class. Learned a lot!
Would take this teacher again tommorow. He helped me a lot when I had questions about the ressources within university. His smile and energy made me want to go to school. Very caring of his students, and his little quizzes at the beggining of classes helped to know I had difficulties and made me change my life habits.
Great prof. Has weekly quizzes and journal entries but as long as you show up to class, you'll get an A. Gives a ton of readings but goes over the material in the readings in class, making them very optional.
Amazing teacher.
I took his international relations class last semester, a lot of readings but honestly if you go to his lectures and pay close attention you can easily get a good grade. If you do decide to do the readings though, it is really dense. Cares that the class understands the topics being covered
Thibaud is young and energetic. He tries to funnel his love for the subject into the course. He grades fairly, and he curves midterm grades. But he's also intense, at least for a first year student. Weekly quizzes on the last week's reading/ last subject went over, journals (1-2 pages) every week, a midterm, final, and 5-7 page paper due at end.
His class is not particularly difficult, but it does involve a lot of work. You will need to do all the readings for the weekly quizzes and journals. On top of this there is the usual midterm, paper, and final exam. Professor Henin is a fair grader and is always willing to help those who struggle, making the class a little more bearable.
This prof is simply amazing! He really really cares for his students and their success. Weekly quizzes (I would say 70% based on lectures and 30% on readings). Do the readings and listen to class and you'll easily get 8-9-10/10! Weekly journal articles (sometimes painful but easy points) - Would recommend the class and the teacher!
He's really great. Very dedicated and really knows his stuff. He will really get you interested in the field of Poli Sci! There are weekly journals from readings and weekly quizzes. Beware hes a little tough on essay question marking though. Would 100% recommend taking
Second semester I took professor Henin and he is awesome, hands down the best teacher I ever had at Concordia, excellent experience. He gives lot of homework, but it helps you to get involve in the class and even give you free points if you work enough. He is so motivated that it makes you motivated, even in morning classes! 100% would take again.
He is a very good professor. He is caring. He makes the class look so interesting. Love the course. Although sometimes it gets tough because of the weekly quizzes and the readings he gives. However, he explains them in his lectures and they are easy to understand. Accessible outside of class. Definitely, I would take him in other class he teaches.
Good prof. Tons of reading though, and weekly quizzes, so don't take it if you don't want to do any work. He is fair, though, and really nice.
Took his class as an elective during my freshman year and I absolutely loved it! Lots of work is expected: you're going to have to write weekly journal prompts on the assigned readings and take weekly quizzes, but he is really accessible outside of class and is overall a great prof! He is the reason I'm now majoring in political science.
Most amazing teacher! Makes you work hard but it is very worth it at the end. His classes are interesting and refreshing.
AMAZING
Probably one of the most enthusiastic teachers Ive ever had. Lectures are not boring, you actually learn. If you want to do well, follow the class lectures and readings. There are weekly quizzes, thus, be prepared to answer questions from the lecture before. This teacher wants you to do well. He cares about his students, wants you to do well.
Great prof -- he genuinely cares for his students and does his best to make the material clear. I'd definitely take him again. Class wasn't easy and required lots of output for a 200-level course (weekly quizzes, weekly journals), but it makes studying for the midterm and finals that much easier. Not an easy A, but worth it nonetheless.
Loved Professor Thibaud's classes. you have to put in some effort to get a good grade but he's super helpful and he makes his classes super interesting. defintely would recommend!!
This is my second time taking courses with Thibaud cuz he's really good and you're actually learning things, but be prepared for weekly quizzes and weekly journal. Totally recommend this prof! He really cares about his students and always there to help students during office hours and you really need to put lot of effort to get good grades!
Amazing teacher! Funny and you will learn lots of things. However, you do have to work hard, show up to class (the lectures are worth it), and read the material (at least the conclusions) Overall totally recommend it! :D
Heads up business students, if you plan on taking poli sci electives choose Thibaud. Respectable teacher, cares about his students' success, engaging lectures, will give you lots of work but is a fair grader. Awesome learning experience. Also, go easy on the swears in his class
Great teacher with great course content!
If you are a Business student I would recommend taking this class. Although it may seem overwhelming at first, it's manageable if you are on top of your work and go to office hours to get help. Professor Thibaud actually cares about his students and is always there to help. You'll learn so much in this class.
Henin is a great prof - kind and approachable, yet academically rigorous. He will make you work for the grade, but in the process will teach you a lot. He seamlessly weaves current events into his lectures in order to illustrate concepts, and in doing so demonstrates how we can make use of what we're learning, rather than just accumulate it.
Amazing prof. A lot of reading weekly journals and weekly quizzes. Have to keep up with to do well. Very straightforward quizzes if you do the work. Engaging and knowledgeable. Quizzes, journals, midterm, paper and final .
I actually loved this professor but the only thing is he gives 1 quiz and 1 journal a week which is extremely difficult to keep up with if you're doing a 5 course load. I recommend taking him if you're taking 4 and under though!! He's super funny and his lectures are actually interesting.
He is the best you can get as a reasonable professor. The quizzes are based on readings and are not that easy.
One of the best teacher I had! Courses are consistent furnished, detailed, precise, clear. Lectures are very interactive, and interesting. As an IR class teacher always links and applies theory to real life and news examples. Teacher creates very good atmosphere and allows interaction and participation in class. A lot of work and implication is nee
Nice guy, but bad teacher. Inexperienced, tries to be a friend not a professional. Extremely disorganized and seems to lack knowledge on the subject. Exams are confusing and the final is explicitly made to stump students. Do the readings and study the quizzes/journals. The workload isn't overbearing, but he is anal about specifics. Fair grader.
Journal's and quiz's every week make you feel board and lose interest for the course. Funny teacher but not a fair grader.
-If you don't mind a lot of work EVERY WEEK (60 pages of reading minimum+ 250-300 words journal + 10 questions quiz) then take him. Working throughout the semester makes you study & makes it easier to assimilate the material. -He also tells you exactly what he wants/ expects from you. All the material is available online, which is convenient
Prof. Henin is passionate by what he teaches and it shows. His lectures are engaging, he has a good sense of humour, and he clearly cares about his students - I definitely recommend going to his office hours if you need clarification on a topic! Yes, there are quizzes and journals every week, but they really help in the end.
Yes, tough class and needs A LOT of effort (due to the amount of readings, having both journal+quiz to do every week) BUT he is an amazing prof! I would take him again despite the level of difficulty since his teaching style is great+hes funny and cares for his students. (Plus, weekly quizzes will help you prepare for the Mid-Term and Final exam).
Thibaud Henin is a great teacher. His course is clear, well structured, his grading clear and well defined, his course material has some interesting material, he knows what he talks about, he has a great sense of humour and can be diligent sometimes. You might learn a lot in the process! (interesting to take POLI 206 at the same time)
He I think is one of the best professors at Concordia he is not an easy class but it shouldnt be easy but its not hard if you just read the readings and go to lectures. His course website was so helpful and he really was very organized with the readings and they were very easy to access. He knows what hes talking about and very clear .
Dr Henin likes to make his courses so hard for no reason. His sources of readings weren't very engaging as he only made us read articles. I find this not professional at some point. Yes, I wasn't able to follow his logic and unclear in class. That made me skip every class, except quiz days and journals uggh. His exams were so hard for no reason.
This professor is just amazing, he gives you everything to succeed in his class. He is very present for his students and always try to accommodate us. Yeah, his course is a lot. Yeah, youll have to do journals and quizzes every week but it is a preparation for the final. Hes always there to give you more precisions. Dont take him if youre lazy
Good Guy overall. Gives quizzes and reading journals every week so be prepared for those. Has the best interest of the students at heart and is always looking to help. Attendance is not mandatory as he records but it is highly suggested that you stay for his lectures as they're very good and typically interesting. Only for the people ready to work.
He is a great professor but you must attend class, do loads of readings and study hard for the midterm and final! He gives quizzes and journals every week which boosts your grade. If you do your readings and journals, you will easily have an A-/A. He is a very entertaining teacher, you will not be bored in this class! Just get ready to read a lot.
Theres a lot of material to go around but he makes it easy to grasp. Usually theres a quiz per class but as long as you pay attention to his slides and have an idea about the readings youll do fine. The teachers very nice and approachable. I would definitely take another one of his courses.
I thoroughly enjoyed his course despite his weekly journals and quizzes. You really have to work hard to succeed in his class. For his quizzes, a tip will be to mostly watch his online lectures and take notes instead of focusing on assigned readings. His quizzes comprise about 70% of his lecture notes so be alert. Overall, will take him again.
An amazing Prof and I would definitely take one of his classes again. He moved our entire class online, stayed on top of all of our demands, and maintained a human touch!
Despite the numerous readings and weekly quizzes/journals, Professor Henin was extremely interesting, class material was easy to understand, he would talk about the news at the beginning of class which would lead to interesting discussions and overall a very caring professor. If you pay attention, work hard and don't slack, you'll be good!
An amazing teacher. I took his POLI 206 class and his POLI 305 class, both were great. Very engaging! There are weekly quizzes and journals that make you stay up to date on the readings. They help you a lot with the final exam. Perfect for students that want to work hard and get the reward, not a great class to fall being in.
He makes the course hard for no reason. His style of teaching is really stressful, he's a tough grader for the quizzes and paper which can really hurt your grade. You have to read a lot, tons of pages every week... I would not take again for sure.
Very considerate prof, I had him during the pandemic, and he was very reachable/caring! There was a lot of readings, and the content of the course is somewhat hard, but it is totally worth it as you learn so much from his class and it is easy to still get a good grade, but you need to put the effort in (weekly quizzes/journal). One of the bests!
Dr. Henin, I would describe as thorough - meaning he forces students who want to do well to remain consistent throughout the entire semester, and even week to week. Want to do well? Easy, stay on top of the weekly readings/journals/quizzes and you'll do fine. Engaged, positive and extremely accommodating during the COVID-19 epidemic. A+!
Although there is a lot of readings and homework every week, I found his style is the best, and personally he is a nice guy. I took the POLI205 course. You will do your readings every week and that makes easier for tests and later assignments; you will need to revise only. Nevertheless, he is too strick sometimes.
Dr. Henin was my professor during the pandemic, and he did a great job. He had video lectures up only a few days after classes were cancelled and made a real effort to keep in touch with us even at a distance. His class does not have a textbook, all readings are free on Moodle. Lots of quizzes and assignments, but requirements are clear. Love him.
Dr. Henin is one of those professors that you can't help but like. His class is pretty difficult if you don't keep up with the readings. So get ready to read and get ready to actually work hard for your grade, too. This course required a lot of attention but overall I enjoyed it and learned a lot!
Absolutely recommended!
I was not completely sold by this class due to the topic, but Prof. Henin made it worth it. I suffered from a lack of motivation and it was very easy to communicate my issues with him, he was always available. He is smart, very knowledgable. Highly recommend.
Dr. Henin is one of of these profs that truly does want to see you succeed in the class. He always encourages students to achieve their potential and is easily accessible outside of class. The seminar is interesting, but you do have to be interested in environmental politics to keep up. Clear grading criteria and set expectations for assignments.
Henin does care for his students as even though times are hard with everything being online, he is trying his best to give his students the best experience. His lectures are on point, although sometimes he does go a little bit off but that's okay! If you dread reading, he isn't the prof for you. Also, get ready to get used to super tough grading.
Thibaud is very kind and encourages you to seek help if needed. He is also very passionate about the material he teaches. The workload can be difficult to keep up with if you have a full coarse-load, but you learn so much in the process. I definitely recommend taking him at least once throughout your degree!
Prof Henin might be a young guy, but hes already a legend. I had him last semester and the way he adjusted the class in the midst of the pandemic was fantastic. I look forward to my class with him next semester as hes probably the best teacher Ive had so far. Get ready to work for your grade though, but overall you wont be disappointed.
Overrated: he does make you work and learn a lot, but his distribution of work is absurd. We had to submit a 1500 word essay worth 2.5% of 20%. His lectures are interesting, but he puts minimal work: videos are old and have bad quality sound. he doesnt answer emails and his TA grades everything. I have done quite well so far, but wont take again.
Wrapping up my first semester at uni and Dr Henin has been the best teacher I have had all my life. Best thing about him is that he's always ready to help, gives good feedback and truly cares about his students. Going to take him again next term without any second thoughts. Readings are quite heavy but okay, good things don't come easy. Take him!
I'm first year online and he is my only professor that held zoom meetings at the scheduled class times that we would have had throughout the year. Classes are more for questions so really helpful, and he posts recorded lectures, great for taking notes when doing online. He does give a lot of work but he is always there to guide you through and help
Dr. Henin is always a solid choice if you're okay with his weekly quizzes and journals! He adapted well to online courses, though the use of 3 different semesters of video lectures felt disjointed at times. In spite of all the hard academic reading (120+pg/week, c'mon man!), he's still one of my all-time favourite profs. So kind and understanding.
I have taken two of Dr. Henin's Political Science classes and would take a third if I could. While the class itself is demanding and requires strong study skills the results are worth it. Yes, you are obligated to keep up with your readings and think critically about current issues but in a sense you are getting your moneys worth.
Amazing professor, super intelligent and knowledgeable. The professor wants you to pass, has tons of office hours and will guide you along if you need help. The material could be difficult to understand but the classes are there to discuss and think about. The term paper is long but you should not leave for the last minute. Highly recommend!
My favourite prof in Poli Sci! his assignments are never boring because he structures them in interesting ways so we don't just write another essay but can have fun with the assignment. I've learnt more in each of the three classes I've taken from him than any other course.
I can't recommend Professor Henin enough, this was a hard class as it should be. However, you can't ask for a better professor that honestly wants his students to succeed. Despite the length of the lectures, this class was very interesting.
Thibaud is an amazing professor that I recommend to anyone that is interested in their grade reflecting the work they put in. The workload is not easy but you get rewarded for you work. Thibaud cares a lot about his students and works hard to see them succeed.
He is by far one of my favorite professor I have had the chance to take at Concordia. He is also thoughtful and cares about the well-being of his students. The class was hard and the readings were long, but it is still possible to get a good grade if you put in the effort. In short, take him you wont regret it.
In this IR class, you will be required to read a lot and do a lot of personal work, you will have written assignment and pop quizzes every week as well as weekly journals. Even though Sir Henin gives a lot of work he's a wonderful teacher, he's helpful, open to conversation and debate and truly made my semester special.
Great professor, works hard so expects you to put the effort. Easy to talk to, understand and communicate with. There is a reading load but nothing that will harm you. Readings are interesting are essential to understand course material. Online lectures where also very nice and engaging.
Amazing subject and amazing teacher. The class is far from being easy, you must be consistent in order to obtain a good grade. He always makes everything clear and communicates well on what he expects from students. Intense but definitely worth the ride; Dr. Henin is one of those teachers whose passion is contagious.
A real class-act guy, will go into great detail to make sure you understand the course material. Very clear and concise most the time, enthusiastic and engaging prof. Sometimes you will hate him due to the heavy readings. But at the end you'll love him and will have learned a lot in 12 weeks. Overall a great prof and great dude. Solid 4-4.5/5
He is an amazing prof, very passionate about international relations. He teaches very well and has interesting class content. He is always available for further help on content or assignments. Totally recommend his classes.
Don't get intimidated by all the workload, this teacher will actually support you and is there to make sure you succeed, I was failing everything he was so accessible and he told us he and the TA mark hard because they can always boost your mark at the end, don't drop the class the challenge is so worth it and you'll surprise yourself in the end!
The class was okay. Lots of readings though. Be prepared to have quizzes and journals each week. Instructions are straight forward and clear, he is a fair grader and the TA gives good feedback. The prof probably taught me the most valuable lesson in my academic career and I appreciate that. Very quick to report anything to the department though.
best prof i've ever had. very organized and very apparent that he cares. no textbook and provides all the readings himself. quiz every class but lectures are very clear and super informative. highly highly highly recommend
His classes are not enjoyable, rather torture. Hard to like. Worst class ever.
if i could rate him a 0 i would lol. Literally to be avoided at all costs, dont take him unless you want to be miserable throughout the semester . He caused me so many problems i shouldve dropped the course when i had the chance.
DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! So much to read, not good feedback. Terrible grader.
Ok this class is HORRIBLE with professor Henin. Im a transfer student who did 3 years of a degree in international relations yet Im almost FAILING THIS INTRO TO INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS CLASS. I dont know HOW OR WHY but its not because I dont know content (& I was too lazy to try and opt out because I thought it would just be super easy but no)
Prof Henin has a positively interesting personality, and I enjoy his lectures. I feel like i have tried hard and learnt much throughout his class, but unfortunately my grades are not reflecting it. I generally get As in the majority of my courses, but i find it tough to get anything over a 75 here. Weekly quizzes and journals. long wait for grades.
I feel like he has great intentions towards his students, but for an intro class , the course load is so heavy. All he do is talk about plagiarism. Maybe he should look over his course because that might be a reason why some people 'cheat'. He is an amazing person and i can tell he is somehow a good teacher, but it's so much.
You will learn a lot with him if you're ready to do the readings, journals, and quizzes EVERY week. But not worth it. He spent every class talking about cheating and cheaters and he didn't care about the bad quality of his lecture recording, as well as saying unprofessional stuff. He is either overrated or online school is not made for him.
The people who rated him poorly are probably a bunch of snowflakes. Absolutely loved this professor! He's very caring for students and will ALWAYS answer the emails. I had him for online classes, not only did he do online zoom classes every week, but he also provided us with recorded lectures. Highly reccomend.
Henin is a great professor, who seems to genuinely care about his students. While he is tough on cheaters, he is also very fair, and provides help to those who need it. During the semester he busted a cheating ring.
Knowledgeable, great, funny. Drinks a whole pot of tea per class. Thirst is his only weakness.
Dr. Henin has been my favorite Professor this year. His Intro to IR course is very educating and you will learn a lot every day. Show up to zoom class, watch the videos and take good notes, you will pass! Take this class you wont regret it, it will be an A if you put in the time.
Dr Henin is an amazing lecturer. Concordia is lucky to have such a great professor to offer courses for their students. His POLI205 course was interesting af and made me want to take more courses where he was the professor. He is a wealth of knowledge and just a fantastic wealth of knowledge.
He's the only professor that actually wants you to succeed. He teaches from the heart and puts tons of effort. He actually puts more effort than all of my other profs combined. His class is tough but he makes sure you understand the material and never keeps you hanging. He's fair and extremely accessible outside of class.
He was very informative and has great points,I learned quite alot and I didn't think I would enjoy this class but I did, he's very punctual and enjoys what she does, I might continue on learning about international politics now thank you for that
Idk why students nag about the course load. This is a core class so of course is going to be heavier than other classes. It teaches you the fundamentals to get so you can create a solid foundation. Put in the work or don't bother taking the class...
My favorite professor so far.
Its very clear that professor Henin loves what he does. As someone whos not so great of a reader, I found his readings very difficult and time consuming. He was however, always patient and welcoming in office hours. He cares a lot about his students and treats them fairly, without a question. Thank you Professor Henin for an amazing class!
Dr. Henin is a good teacher, he is fair and really knowledgeable. I am not sure if every core classes will be like this, but it's so draining especially in a pandemic and it's my first semester. I love this class, I learned, but he needs to chill sometimes. I won't take him again bcs it overlapped my other courses so bad, but it was a nice class.
This course is definitely a demanding one. However, it's all worth it. Professor Henin has got to be one of the best professors I've taken so far. He's straightforward with his expectations, doesn't complicate his explanations & is caring / patient. Truly wants his students to succeed but not with cheating. I really wish I could take him again!
Honestly, it was a demanding class but so worth it for the knowledge you gain, especially in Political Science. He genuinely cares for the student and provides lot of tools to gain the maximum out his course.
Takes forever to answer important questions. Very sarcastic with students seems to only care about his career and not good at explaining his topics. This course is a relatively difficult course in political science but this teacher made it even more difficult than it had to be.
Professor Henin is a funny and informative professor who makes good use of his environmental politics background to make the topic of International Relations interesting. Grading is largely dependent on TAs and skipping lectures is not the wisest option since some of the information he covers can be on the quizzes.
I was really nervous taking this Poli class since I'm a JMSB student. It started off a bit rough for me, but he was always happy to answer questions (rly available through office hrs). There's a lot of weekly homework (readings for quizzes+ journals), but will prepare you for final paper. He was always happy to answer questions and help out! :)
This prof seems to be a good person however, very inconsiderate of OTHER classes his students have. Very heavy work load and very hard grader. Although he is very much available for questions. Word of advice; if you are unwilling to put countless hours of work, do not take this teacher. Also, watch out for plagiarism and cheating.
Prof. Henin is very passionate, knowledgeable, and supportive. He'll support you and is there to make sure you succeed by being accessible everywhere, office hrs,the WhatsApp group he creates. There's a lot of weekly homework (readings for quizzes+ journals), but will prepare you for the final paper. Don't skip the classes for better understanding.
This professor is god damn wonderful. Hes super smart and all around I loved his class! Can still feel some of his influence I picked up throughout his semester and have learnt so much from his class to bring into my studies, life and career path.
Professor Henin is an excellent teacher, who cares about his students and helps them to thrive for bettering themselves. He is passionate about what he teaches, invites students to have their opinions, and knows very well how to organise and teach a class. His calendar, the content of the course, everything is clear from the start!
Hands down the best prof ever. I wish he could continue at Concordia because I'd def take more classes with him. Yeah ik he's known for heavy readings and tough exams but he is super approachable which makes life much easier. I'll miss him.
This class was not my style. The slides were weirdly organized and I felt like the lectures only scratched the surface of the content of the readings. Did most of my learning for the class completely based on readings. They are essential and numerous. Also the discussions seemed to drag on in tangents, the prof often failed to bring back the point.
A professor who will stand out to me forever. He cares for his students and has really interesting and engaging lectures. I only took two of his courses but wish I had the opportunity to take more!
Helps develop good work ethic and habits to succeed at higher level classes. Participation and regular tests of your knowledge are where you have to spend most of your energy. Final exam and major projects weren't that hard. Fun lecturer and engaging. Took him in 300 levels!
He is the worst professor I have encountered. He has a temper issues with all the scholars in his class. No respect for anyone. Cannot understand his lecture what he is teaching. Definitely not a recommended professor. Not very professional for his status.
He might assign a lot of readings but he understands everyone's circumstances: he was very lenient to people who hadn't done all the readings, and was always caring for special pandemic circumstances. Very interesting, gives great feedback and leads the seminar discussions into some great topics. Take his class if you have the chance!
Took his class in the fall of 2020, it was great, lot of work to do but that made me a better student. The next semester I took POLI 388 and got a straight A effortlessly due to the knowledge as well as the structure I had learned to write an essay.
This is the second time I take professor Henin. His course was super practical. It taught us theory and it was also hands on. Absolutely loved his lectures. He reassured me during my exam, calmed my anxiety. He is such a good professor. Might catch feelings lol. He is my #1 professor at Concordia. Highly recommend. He taught real world stuff
Professor Henin is very charismatic and wants his students to succeed, both in the classroom and after graduation. He will provide you with a lot of useful advice and tips to succeed. This class wasn't overwhelmingly difficult, but the group projects were kind of a pain and his final was difficult to understand. Still got a B+ with minimal effort.
Heavy lectures but over all good professor.
Such an amazing professor. Hands down one of the best out there. I am glad I took his class. He's interesting, intelligent, and passionate about teaching. I wish all professors were like him.
I actually took his 331 class but it's not on the list. Professor Henin is very professional and informed. I Would take his class again. Highly recommend his lectures, not boring like other professors.
POLI 331. Amazing professor. Lectures were always engaging and often evoked deeper reflection concerning weekly topics. Assigned a News Presentation assignment worth 5 percent, that promoted application of course topics to real-world events. Has a charismatic cadence. He's also direct about assignment requirements, which I very much appreciate.
