Very concerned about students success!

strait to the point. teaches right out of the book. Im not the best student but if you do the work you will get an A like me : ). He makes some jokes when people are late but im late all the time and then stoped going to class and showed up for the test

I enjoyed this class. In fact, now I am considering majoring in accounting. If you do all of the work he assigned, you will learn the material and ace his class. You have to study and do the work! Stay for class for the pop quizes!!

I liked his class. If you did the homework, then it was understandable. After taking his class, i am going into accounting.

I had to take accounting 3 times before I passed it - I thought this guy was great!

I had hem last term, and I think he's great! He know the stuff so well. If you are willing to learn, you will learn a lot from him.

I loved this teacher. I feel that he was very clear in stating that he was there to answer any questions if you had them. If you don't read it, at LEAST DO THE HOMEWORK! I'm not sure where the unclarity is coming from b/c he promptly responded and was very knowledgable if you asked. Definately recommend and I'll be back in his class for ACG2027.

Good class. Just do the reading and homework. I would save the HW till b4 the test and it made great review. Some of the reviews said he couldn't teach, and I would agree that his lectures can be very boring, but it's accounting. What did u expect? Cartwheels and fireworks. Wake up and pay attention in class! Looking forward to ACG 2071.

This subject is hard therefore its not the Mr Acuris fault that people fail the class. I am taking it right now and its one of the hardest classes ever. he knows a lot and i would say he is better than 80% of accounting teachers out there.

I don't know what the others are talking about. I'm in his class right now and he's the greatest teacher I've had. If you take this class online, then of course you're probably not going to do that well, Accounting is very difficult to teach to yourself. If you have to take accounting, I highly reccomend you take it in person with this teacher.

Very good class. Has a different approach but uses an online homework program that helps a lot. He will spend time with you after class if you need help, has 4 tests with excel projects for each. Homework is important, chapter outlines and attendance help grade. Just pay attention and do homework and tests will be easy.

Very experienced. Gives a lot of home work, but this helps for tests. He tries to oversimplify questions and answers in class, but since he has been in accounting for so long, you can tell he has difficulty relating basic concepts at times. Tough attendance policy. Asks a lot of questions and very helpful if you have questions. Curves tests.

I'm in Man. Acc. right now and I took Fin. Acc. last semester with Arcuri. He is an awesome teacher, keeps you the entire class period which is good because he teaches the entire time. Take this accounting with this teacher!!!

Professor is very nice and helpful. His class is set up so you learn the material. I skated by with a C very easy, but if I had put effort into and actually cared about this subject then it would have been an easy A. I would definitely take this teacher a second time if I could!

Found it easiest to print out the online homework and jot notes on them and use them to study for his tests. The answers to the HW were already posted on Blackboard(didn't know til halfway through the semester). Excel projs were easy, follow the instructions. Counts attendance. Reading notes due on test days. Intimidating at first but mellowed out.

Not and easy class, but you will learn Accounting. Mr. Acuri is very politically correct and matter of fact, he does not play favorites. Study for the tests and you will do good. He covers all of the material, no surprises come test time. Great teacher if you would like to learn Accounting, not so good if you are trying to skate through school.

Not the easiest teacher but willing to help. you MUST do work in this class but if you put in effort you will come out with a working knowledge of accounting.

OMG! I am so glad i am done with this class. Material is so hard but professor is very good at teaching the material. You MUST study and you MUST read the book throughly to understand finanical accounting.

Took this class online, it is a lot of work and reading but valuable info. He does not make much contact with students so your pretty much on your own. If you read textbook and do assignments you will pass.

Okay, I was in his class on campus, and I want to say that yes it is tough, but there are resources at your fingertips that mean there is no reason you shouldn't have the ability to make at least a B in his class if not an A. I made a B and I missed his class for about a week and a half for personal reasons and I was unprepared for the final.

Online accounting.I was scared to email questions due to comments but he was very helpful! Not at all like comments suggest. I'm honestly confused. Mcgraw-hill book & website are THE BEST I've had in online classes so far. I DID have an interest in accounting before the class, maybe that is the difference. Weighted grades are fair in my opinion.

THIS PROFESSOR IS HILARIOUS! It is a difficult class though. He tries to make the lectures entertaining, he seems like he's all over the place but if you read ahead of class, you will get exactly what he's talking about, come prepared. HW and TESTS are online, but he gives plenty of opportunities for extra points. Goodluck.

You determine your own grade in this class. Class was BORING...but this Professor gives you a fair chance at passing his class. Procrastination with assignments or pure laziness will kill your grade. There is a lot of work, but he grades fairly!

This class simply comes down to how much time you put into it. Read the chapters he tells you before class, do the online homework, and do well on the test. The test are 75%, online work 7%, Reading notes(each chapter) 3%, and spread sheets 15%. The four 50Quest. test are what will make or break your grade.

If you are an accounting major take this guy. I took him, got an A. You have to work really hard. But this is a base class for accounting students. Hard discipline here makes UNF's accounting classes much much easier.

Arcuri's grading is consistent and easy to understand. There are extra credit quizzes. He gives a lot of assignments but they are easy, relevant to the tests, and things you want to take away from the class. If you want to lean something, take this class. Don't take it if you just want to skate by; you will not do well.

hard to topic to teach, but this professor sure makes it entertaining with the way he teaches. Yes lots of homework, but it gives you a good chance at passing with a decent grade despite bad test scores. Learned way more with him than the UNF professors that throw you out on your own.

Its a tough class, but worth it. I learned a lot from him. A lot of works, but if you do your work on time, You will get A. He is funny guy

Accounting was really tough for me but this professor is not test heavy. He gives more points toward the homework and interactive activities. So, if you do all of your homework and activities you will be sure to pass even if you do not have the best test scores. He is very responsive to emails. Very professional. Great teacher.

He expects you to watch the video presentations as you go, so you'll be constantly lost if you're not keeping up. Ask questions, he'll slow down accordingly for the class, will keep skipping ahead if everyone seems alright. Attendance isn't necessary if you can keep up with just the online material, but would be good to show up to the first few.

Awsome class and professor, was very clear with due dates and things to be done by yourself.

This is a super honest review. Professor replied back to my email within minutes and answered/helped me with the content. This is my first accounting course, and it is really hard, but it's not the professor's fault. McGraw Hill Connect is used for assignments and it is very hard to navigate as it doesn't help you and it just says you got it wrong.
