I cannot even begin to tell you how easy and FUN Prof Bock was. Only downside, he only teaches on weekends (but never comes close to using the 3 hours) VERY VERY VERY COOL GUY! ! ! Worth fighting to get into.

He is the best MGT prof. in Baruch. Midterms and Final are essay, but they are not too hard. He tells joke and funny stories that make you relax in the class. If you can't get an A in his class, you should stay in school any longer.

Cool Proffesor. You can't go wrong taking his class. Make sure to take good notes and pay attention at his joke in class, you might get some extra credits on your exam. I've never taken a class where everyone participate and no one is falling asleep.

Along with Glassman and Lux, Bock is truly one of the other GREAT professors at Baruch. His class is interesting, fun, and you learn a lot without realizing it. Definitely take him..multiple choice midterm and final, includes extra credit. Worth waking up on Saturday morning for.

Yooo Bock-Choy is the man, he's so chill. I love him, such a great professor. I totally enjoyed his class, and he's absolutely hysterical. His tests make you laugh when you take him because of his hilarious question choices. I totally recommend him! Peace out Bock-Choy!

I will never forget this prof. He is so funny! Class was on saturday afternoon but I looked forward to goin to class. EXTREAMLY FUNNY P.S. I didn't even buy the book and I learned and got an A-. Pay attention (which isn't hard to do because its fun) and you'll be fine.

All I remember from his class was "mad" this and "mad" that. His teaching was decent, but he couldn't pass one class without cracking a corny joke. His attempt at blending in with the young crowd is pretty sad.

Bock is the Professor!!! He always in a good mood so u don't realize when the class is over. Very straightforward with concepts. Study what he writes-97% will be on the exams. The other 3% from the text. Use his notes as a guide to study topics from the text. 1 short paper. Usually reads aloud his study guide:pay attn.

Person below is dumb. U read the syllabus? blackbrd discussion=pts. 3 discussions=9 pts. I found Dr. Bock to be a great prof. Went over everything at least once, good reviews, questions are very broad. 85% of the material comes from the lecture, so ur guaranteed a B if u pay attn. Dont slack off, study PPT/read book and higher is possible.

THE BESSSSSSSSSSSSST PROFESSOR IN THE SCHOOL. Straight to the point with lecture, assignments and exams. No BS whatsoever. Pleasee take him if you are a HR management major. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. And plus he's a comedian. I wish he was teaching other classes, lol

He is the Man!! It's so true, you learn a lot and the best part is that you actually enjoy learning. Why can't all professors be like him!? Take him, you've read it a million times, just take his class, you won't regret it!!!

He takes attendance (2 late = 1 absent) + class/blkboard participation and it's 10% of grade. 1 paper and better submit it before due date to be reviewed and corrected. 1 midterm + final, which has 70% of midterm. Don't buy a book. Tests are on his notes. He gives you candies on tests, lets you go earlier. For me class was boring and unnecessary.

Spring 2006 average grades in his class: midterm average is 83.08=B-; paper average is 85.01=B; attendance average is 87.29=B+; final average is 85.72=B; average total grade in his class is 84.91=B-. He tells you midterm is easy, don't bite it, study well. Final is kinda easy because it includes 70% of midterm, you know the questions.

All that the MGT4340 ppl are saying is the TOTAL TRUTH!!! If we said anymore about how great he is the school would get rid of him for having a cult following... I can't add anything else, you guys have already said everything, the only thing I'd like to say is that I liked him so much that I am taking him again in the summer. Exams based on his notes and blackboard ppt and Final includes Midterm questions. Teaches you exactly what you need to know, especially if your major is HR MGT. HE'S THE BEST!!!

Pretty easy class, but you do have to read the book and study for the midterm and the final. Although the tests seems easy there are few trick questions that are from the book and was not reviewed in class.

Good prof. Even though sometimes his repeated some jokes over and over again, but they're related to what we needed to know for the exams. Very clear and straight forward about the subjects. Keep everything short and simple so it's easy to remember. 3 easy blackboard discussions, 1-50 mc mid-term, 1-50 mc final, and a 3 pgs term paper.

Took him in the spring, and got an A. He explains everything thorouhly and always tells jokes. I don't think he is that easy A, but what you people are expecting. YOU WORK FOR AN A. Take him!!! yes it is on saturdays but he trys his best to make it bearable. Just copy everything he writes on the board and study from that. If you are lucky he will have reviews before the tests which pretty much cover everything that will be on them. Do not bother with the book. I never opened it and never red the slides and got an A-.

easy n' fun! ppl who said he's bad must screw up big time.Prof. Bock is funny and an easy A is worth the time going to the class on Saturday.There is absolutely no need for curve.all the exam questions are from each chap's tests of the online book. I got an A on the midterm simply studying all the ques and went over terms and outlines of the book.

Great class for Sat! Interesting lectures full of jokes and amazing facts from life. Did not miss even 1 lecture, because i really enjoyed the class. Exams are VERY EASY- 90% questions are exactly-- EXACTLY(!!!) from the textbook! (U want a curve too???) I can not imagine getting less than B+ in this class! Take it, you will LOVE it!!!

There is no word to describe his class - full entertainment. He has the magic to keep a class awake for 3 hours, on Saturdays. Very pleasant and easy exam, plus easy grade. One midterm and final plus one term paper (max 4 pages). He should get an award for being teh best professor in Baruch!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Prof. Bock provides a fun class environment. You will learn a little bit of Management but the rest of the semester you will barely remember that you're taking a MGT class cause there is hardly any work involved. 85% of MidTerm and Final is taken directly from the book's Test Prep questions. Easy paper required. Easy A.

Great Professor even though it's a Saturday Class.Only 1 Midterm, Case Study and Final. Study practice questions in the text and you'll do fine. He also gives extra credit questions on exams. The class always ends early. He's funny, nice and worth going to class on the weekend!!

He is awesome. He can teach AND joke at the same time while still retaining authority. He is usually around an hour before class (on a weekend) so it's easy to find him and talk to him. Tests are relatively easy, but some rare questions can be confusing.

He is the best teacher at Baruch period. Why? Because he makes learning fun. He teaches the material while entertaining at the same time. He is very funny. And not that corny funny, he's funny funny. Ur gonna want to go to class. I'm telling you. Overall, you learn an interesting subject. If you cannot get a min of a B, something is wrong with you.

He is very funny and very nice. He tries to make the class more interesting with fun little facts about everything and anything. Alot of his tests are based on his notes and some are minor details from textbook. I would recommend reading both. Good class to take!

He is old, ghetto, ****ed, and talks like he is from the hood. What more do you want? Did i mention his tests are "challenging"? Super funny guy. Got a problem? Email him. He responds very quick. Basically it is an easy going class. Not presentations, no study your ass off and yet you still learn stuffs.

I truly believe that this is one of Baruch's top professors. One thing that is special about him is you can be in a relaxed, stress-free state of mind while he lectures valuable info. You will learn a lot of the basics of mgt. He cracks funny jokes throughout the semester. Has a knack of giving off-topic stuff we can learn about too.

Dr. Bock is a great man. Funny class and very helpful. He's actually a gem among professors at wretched Baruch. One thing though... his final is cumulative and he doesn't really tell you that until the review session and you notice its all the chapters. Guy is quite nice, amusing and funny. He gives a lot of extra points, responds to emails fast, teaches random stuff beyond the course. One paper which is like an easy A. Midterm and Final are not that easy however. His notes will be helpful but you must read the book to do well on exams. Class is quite stress free. He gives out candy too!

Great Professor made the class very interesting. Case Study Midterm and Final. Not an easy A but if you work hard you can totally get an A. If you are willing to work hard then you are in for an amazing class.

Whoever gives this man a bad rating shouldn't be in college. HE IS THE BEST!!!. This is a great stress free class. Prof Bock is the best professor at Baruch, I had him for 4 different classes and got an A in every class. He's helpful and informative. I graduated over a year ago and he still helps me out with recommendation letters anytime I ask.

This professor spoon feeds you. Everything he says, he writes down. Attend class, copy down what he has to offer and read the book. 1 midterm, 1 paper, 1 final. Very lenient grader, the paper- everyone got a 90+ unless they handed it in late.

This guy is hilarious. I'd sit in his lecture even if I wasn't registered for it. Definitely worth coming in on Saturdays. However, he doesn't prepare you well enough for the exam. Make sure you read because the lectures don't cover every single thing on the exam. You won't know if you looked over all of the definitions or not. Even so, TAKE HIM.

By far the funniest professor I've had at Baruch. Very informative, but also extremely laidback. Relatively easy class. Beware: He loves to troll his students, even to a point where you don't know what grade you'll be receiving!

Easy professor, you don't need the textbook, just pay attention in class and copy down all his notes. Case study is easy and you should not get below 90. Midterm was easy so try to get a high grade to make up for the Final exam since the Final is somewhat harder. Overall great professor don't buy book, his notes are good for the exams.

He made my Saturday morning class seem enduring. however, the class was not that easy. first of all you have 2 take down everything he writes on the board and have to pay attention to everything even his jokes as it might end up on ur exam as extra credit ques. Exams were all MCQ. So don't take this fun class lightly.

Amazing professor. Very smart and hilarious. It was an online class. You have to go to class 4 times a semester and its mandatory. 2 tests, online discussion, and a case study. Its a fair class.

One midterm, one final. Exams are strictly from his notes and questions are very similar to back of the chapter questions in the textbook(easy, final is a bit hard). A paper about a company, pretty easy. Attendance is required. He's a very good professor, knows how to joke and teach. Very unique! Definitely take him! The Saturdays are worth the A!

This was my first Sat class and I have no regrets! He writes the notes on the board. He makes the class entertaining and interesting. M.C. exams. His midterm had fill in q's from notes. Professor Bock is incredibly fun, knowledgeable, interesting, patience, and a fantastic educator. He knows exactly how to keep every student interested. He takes great notes, and it very clear about what's in the exams and what's required for the paper. It was worth EVERY saturday class. I would take all of my classes on Saturday if he taught them.

Professor Bock is as good as they come. In his lectures he gives detailed notes for the exam. Come to class, study your notes, and you're looking at an easy A. He also takes about 75% of his test questions from the practice questions in the back of each chapter. There's no reason to not do well in his class.

Fun lectures with some videos, exams are easy as long as you study from the questions in the back of the textbook, takes attendance, does not give you full participation points if he doesn't know your name by the end of the semester. The professor loves to teach and tries to help students as much as possible.

Prof Bock is so kind. He was worth getting up for a 9am class on friday. He does take attendance every class but material is so easy and doesn't care if you're late. He does review sessions for each exam and if you study the textbook questions then you're guaranteed to pass. Easy A! Loved him, so sad he's retiring, you will be very missed!
