He incorporates past literature into today's society. He makes u think about issues no one would otherwise raise. He is a fair grader in papers and works with you get a better grade...

He's good, he also tries to make class interesting. He does talk quite a bit. If you're easily offended by someone talking about sensitive subjects, find someone else. An easy grader, but he makes you work for it...not too much though. I would take him

two words: anti-bush! definitely an interesting class. he lectures for the whole time but everything he says has meaning. don't take his class if you get easily offended, he says what he feels.

Great teacher! He goes off the topic a lot and into 9/11 and Bush (if you like Bush, do not take him!) But he raises some interesting topics and makes you really think about things you would not normaly want to - he makes you open your eyes!

This class is awesome. Very cool about deadlines and allows alot of free thought. Very into raising questions that are not normally asked. Provokes your mind to think and challenges your brain to work. GREAT CLASS. MUST TAKE WITH THIS GUY

Wow, this man transformed the way I view our society, politics, and nature. The readings were amazing, the lectures excellent (shocking at times). Hates Bush Admin. b/c of their actions, not just b/c he isn't republican. Strong supporter of reopening 9/11 investig. Passionate, comical, crazy man : )

Professer Breidenbach is a very good teacher his views on 9/11 are very thought prevoking and require you to think twice about the bush administration, he's very laxed about his deadlines however he doesnt tell you much about the assignments and what he wants from them but grades you on what he's looking for in them anyway, however he will raise your grade after you correct the assignment all in all its a great class and I reccomend it to everybody!!!!!!!!

Fun class. Very contreversioul about the governemnt. This guy acts like he worked for the goverenmt and they screwed him over thats why's hes the way he is today. But seriuously his class is real easy. Just write nicely and oringinally.

What can I say but this guy keeps it realer than most people. Very informal way of teaching subject i.e. very deep on 9/11 and other conspiracy theories which is very interesting and entertaining. Lenient grader. Goal of his class is to evaluate society and respond in an intellectual manner. Sarcastic but caring individual.

If you love this country and want to make a change, thake this Prof. Mark my words, you will enjoy the class if you listen and learn. He will seem strange and strict at first but in reality he is mild and kind Prof. He is the best one I've had so far. He will make a true patriot of you if you read what he suggests and watch what he askes.

I hated the conspiracy theories at first... but when I realized that he had an actual point... and that he was using them to teach the class real, useful points, I relaxed and LOVED the class. Yea, he's a bit of a nut, be he is so funny and laid back and SMART. Definatly worth taking one of his classes.

The best English professor I ever had

Attendance isn't mandatory. Sends around a sign in sheet every so often. Has an extraordinary mind. Encourages students to think "outside the box". Like said in other posts, not your typical English class. Talks a lot about conspiracy theories within events throughout US and World History. VERY SMART GUY! You will learn a lot! NOT A HARD CLASS!

At the beginning of the semester, I completely hated his teaching style, and his ideals. It's not that I disagreed with the theories, I just wished he would've stuck to the damn subject he was supposed to teach. I later came to like him a great deal as a person, though. He's a great guy, and always willing to answer your questions.

He is a great professor. The content of the class is very interesting and he keeps you searching for more knowledge. On writing assignments he lets you rewrite them multiple times. He only gave us like 5 papers to do and an in class midterm and final.

I liked the class. My classmates and I have actually become very good friends and still talk about it. Yes, its true all he talks about is conspiracy theories and 9/11 but it's interesting and hes a funny guy. He says he's a hard grader but I came out with an A- without doing 1 paper. He's a great guy, can't wait to buy his book!

This guy is the man. Sweet heart of a person. Not very many papers at all, lets you do a revision for all of them, if you don't walk out with an A, you just probably didn't hand in any work. Too easy of a class, he's a HUGE conspiracy theorist, BUT he has facts to back him up, so in the end you wind up believing that we are being lied to.

L.O.V.E... I actually looked forward to going to his class! He really opens up your eyes to things in life, and definitely is one brilliant man! Take this class, you will not regret it! As long as you do all the papers, you should get an A!

AMAZING professor,he cares more about of your feelings and the contents for your paper than giving you a bad grade because you didn't type something correctly.And in the case you need help with grammar, he will personally sit down with you and helpwith every note he gave, and give you a chance or two to revise it. he loves when you participate too.

I have learned so much about how humans think in this class. The class is so interesting and I would highly suggest taking it. Just a heads up, we talk a lot about September 11th, human sacrifice, and the whole theme is on Mimetic Desire. I personally found it super interesting and would take the class again

This has been the most thought provoking class I have ever taken. Breidenbach makes you question your ideals and constantly reminds us of what is important in life... being lovely human beings. This class essentially made me do some soul searching and discover that society is misguided and as a community we should do our own research.

Breidenbach is really a great guy and professor. Sometimes he rips your work to shreds pointing out things that he didn't like or that should be changed, but he really does mean well. When he goes off topic, it's either a funny story or a really dark story that makes you worried about him. All in all, a great experience.

Very understanding and got B's on papers, and still ended with an A-. We only did a few papers, but we did readings for each class that are posted on blackboard.

I had this prof for my critical writing course and I promise you his lectures are never boring! The topics we had gone over were interesting and makes you think deeper about the world around you. He recognizes students' hard work and gives you options to write whatever topics you wish to write about.

I loved this creative writing course! I was intimidated at first when I learned we had to read all of the work we brought in but he made the environment so comfortable that I got used to it! There are no grades in the class which eliminates the stress! I loved every second of this course and if I could take it again, I 100% WOULD!!

As long as you write the stories you will get an A in the class. Very enjoyable class and professor. You can basically write about whatever you want but he gives prompts for inspiration. Chill, laid back class. Great to hear other students' work and his feedback is very helpful
