Great prof. Extremely intelligent. He DOES READ ALL THE FINALS! One of the most beneficial, thought provocative, and interesting classes/prof I ever had and will remember for a long time.

Probably the most interesting class that I've taken at AR. Tom is very thought provoking and really makes his students think outside the box. ON top of all that, his class is an easy A. Oh yeah.

Tom is one of those guys who just knows it. He was such a cool teacher.I can't believe he's been teaching since the 60s!Even though his lecture is the same, word for word every semester, it is so perfect the way it is & he will always put emotion into it. I learned so much & was so inspired by him.

The best thing about his class is that he says whatever he wants without being scared or apologetic. The only caveat is that he has serious woman/relationship issues which come into the lecture a lot. He was an Art major/Psych minor, so there you go.

For the people saying this is a boring class and nothing to learn probably NEVER WENT TO CLASS OR PAID ANY ATTENTION. This guy knows his stuff. Very inspiring and an easy A. If your going to take any fine arts class. THIS IS THE GUY.

Went to his class once to get the permission number and never went back. Got an A in his class..All we had to do was movie reports and the final. EASY A people!

Lectures are very interesting, the course is ridiculously easy, the instructor is very intelligent, covers controversial issues, and is really laid back.All we had was a final, which tied together everything we had discussed throughout the semester. You would have to be a moron to get anything less than an A in this class. Highly recommended.

i was pissed of for coming to class, i could have never came to class and still got an a, all we had was a couple final essays in the end, thats it. i should have never come to class.

There is something very hot about this teacher. He's interesting and nice, and teaches you about interesting art like Pollack and graffiti. Cool class.

This class is an EASY A!!! He doesnt believe in roll, so if you miss one of his MANY BORING slide shows you will be fine. He is an awesome and very informative person if you actually have an interest in the area. Amazing for Color photography class as well

C'mon guys, this guy is pretty cool. I took craig smith and he gave me a D for showing up everyday and giving out quizzes and what not. Now that guy is BORING *and a loser*. Atleast Proff. Brozovich talks about tons of political issues like Bush, War, and other things we see in today's society. Yeah the class was an easy A, but it worth attending.

no attendence taken, but I actually regret not coming to class all the time 'cause his lectures are actually pretty interesting. Historical as well as current art and issues covered. Only assignment is the end of the year essays (7), which kinda scared me but I BSed and got an A anyways. Recommended!

EXCELLENT TEACHER! Fills each lecture with truth. Lots of interesting facts, keeps your attention, and there is no homework or midterms. I would recomend this class to anyone. Definitely not what i expected. He doesn't want you to remember useless info, just analysis. Final is 7 essays, but easy!!!

This is what I call an education. He touches on subjects that are useful in everyday life unlike most other classes which are nothing more than trvial and required classes.

He is a great teacher. Very knowlagable about his topic. I recommend him to anybody. There is just finall and finall questions are essay questions. It is easy. This class is a piece of cake. Take his class. What are you waiting Dude!!!!!!!!!!

This is probably the only class I came out of that actually had something I could apply to the real world.

I reccomend taking him. Very interesting class, I learned more than one thing ever Mondays and Wednesdays from him. His lectures are good and has good meanings behind them. 7 essays as your final but it is not bad at all.

Brozovich is a great lecturer - one of the best at this campus. Most Art History classes I've taken concentrate on painters ONLY, but Brozovich covers ALL forms of art. Come to his lectures, listen, and think for yourself - you will learn a great deal from this guy. I highly recommend him.

His lectures are interesting, he is very knowledgable about just about every form of art, and he has good taste in movies, but if your opinion differs from him (on any subject) he pretty much considers you an idiot. A lot of students walked out during his constant Bush bashing. Listen, Tom, I don't like the guy either but it's old already. Stop it.

OK. So, Brozovich is controversial. So what? I'd rather hear someone who's controversial than listen to some of the hacks on this campus...

This is the weirdest man ever. He lectures every day in the dark on a microphone. Its like going to the movies every Mon. and Wed. because we watched movies every class period. His lectures are so interesting but controversial, so if u cant handle it dont take the class. I found it very entertaining. He never takes roll and the final is 6 essays

If you're a weak person at mind then don't take this class because he may be too real for you. If you don't like what he has to say then drop him or just don't come to class because he doesn't take role. He isn't there to babysit you by taking role to make sure you're there. He speaks his mind and it's up to you whether or not you want to listen.

Great teacher, great class. No attendance policy, but you should go to class to know what is discussed. Lectures and watch movies all day, no hw. Final is a 6 question essay which revolves around what he discussed during his lectures. Easy A, recommend this class!

No attendance required. Easy A but there's A LOT to learn if you do come to class. If you're a goody two shoes that is easily offended by controversial issues, don't come to class. Highly advisable to come though. GREAT GUY!!

I really enjoyed him. His class was interesting and required a lot of critical thinking. You have to be willing to get out of your comfort zone to truly benefit from the lectures; and when you do magic will happen.

What a great experience this was. Those who didn't learn-they didn't listen! It's art, and critical thinking, and for the price of tuition, it's a pretty cool show. He is pretentious, but so are you! People take themselves too serious. Menstrual art, consumerism, all of this art has a message, and he serves up his message very well. Bravo!

The most sophisticated and intellectual instructor I have ever had in my life.A real teacher, a person who teaches you how to think rather than just memorizing the proven. Absolutely recommend him. try to keep your mind open when attending his lectures and you seriously will learn.He should be rewarded greatly for his brilliant mentality.

Wonderful teacher, show great care in what he teachers. Had only a final consisting of 6 essays. Seems to grade somewhat leniently.

Tom Brozovich's introduction to art class is the most amazing and intellectual experience i have ever had. He is so in-depth with everything he says and makes the class fun and interesting. He does not take attendance but i wouldnt want to miss a single one of his great lectures. Take this teacher.

Either you love it or hate it. If you have a very open mind and like to learn to creatically think about the meaning of art it is a great class. Avoid this class if you need facts, dates, dead lines, and tests. There is no textbook or regular homework. He doesn't take attendance but go. Don't ask about the midterm or final you won't get answer.

He doesn't explain the final, but it's SIMPLE! Try putting that gray matter in your head to work instead of waiting for your professor to feed everything to u. BTW nudity can't hurt you! RELAX!

prof broz. is a great instructor. i found his views on life, society, etc. to coincide with my own.. just wish i would of attended more classes! the material (slides and movies) are SO interesting that its a shame to miss even one class. at the conclusion of the semester one cant help but feel more "enlightened" after broz. lit up our minds. bravo!

GREAT CLASS! I laughed, I cried, and I felt a buzz after most lectures. It's not a class for the "Rockwell's" of the world.

Easy A. Class was totally boring! Attendance not mandatory. He curses a lot which is pretty funny. Shows a lot of nudity pictures. Class was a total snoozer. Doesn't teach, just reads a script.

Barely anyone went to class and then they all complained about having no idea what was expected. It's an intro class, so he's there to get you thinking. I would suggest going to every lecture because I got a lot out of them. It's not a typical set-up but it is an easy A, and I really enjoyed that we mostly covered art in the social aspect.

Class changed my life...he has his theories, but I took the class over 4 years ago and still think about some of the things he said. Great graffiti lecture. Fight club lectures were amazing also.

A lot of people complain about this professor because he is opinionated. The class is super easy, just show up, take some notes and you'll do fine. I'm actually learning a lot and am finding this class pretty interesting, regardless of if I agree with his opinions or not.

Awesome class!!!! attendance doesnt matter but his lectures are very interesting and you will want to go to class. I would take this class again or any class he taught. You arent required to answer anything but can if you want. I had no interest in art but would say it was the only class I say is worth the money

Thomas Brozovich is someone who cares to exercise his right to freedom of speech. He was an awesome professor and he encourages student to think critically. He's not a mainstream artist and he's not trapped in the box like most people around. One of the best classes that you can ever take in your life. Thanks Thomas Brozovich for being great.

One of the easiest class I ever took with only two exams the entire semester a midterm and a final and only one homework assignment due at the end of the semester. Regular class day for this class was just to take a few without falling asleep.

EASIEST PROFESSOR EVER!! you don't have to show up at all, we started with more than a hundred only 20 came on daily bases, and will help you out in the final (the main portion of your grade). 1 assignment and 1 midterm, supeeer easyyyyyyy

Lectures are really interesting if you have an open mind. It's not for the argumentative or ignoorant AT ALL, if you are either of these things, you'll be pissed after the first lecture and this isn't the best class for you. I thoroughly enjoy listening to the lectures and agree with a lot of the things he says. I also skipped 50% of the classes :)

Interesting, learned new things.

Not what I was expecting for an art history class but I loved it! Focuses on critical thinking and content over form. If you're conservative or close-minded you won't like him. He is very passionate about his beliefs, and he has no qualms about his opinions. As long as you show up and take some notes, or have really good recall, tests are a breeze.

Going into this class I was not sure what to expect. This is one of my first classes that has been stress free, yet I learned a ton of things. I would take this class again! There is a midterm where you critique art and a final test. All classes should be like this! Torture free!

Professor Brozovich is an amazing teacher. He gives interesting lectures and cracks jokes from time to time. Not many tests, just the midterm and final and he lets you use notes for them too.

Definitely would take again. Doesn't have a textbook and everything you need to know for the test is worded directly from his lectures. Massive grading curve, only the midterm, final, and final paper. Inspirational and isn't a traditional art history course - more like contemporary life issues. Most chill prof at ARC!

Best class ever, it was very inspirational and life changing. May sound cliche but it really is a good class.

Brozovich is one of the more interesting ARC professors, and honestly considering this is my future career, i found his class to be very insightful and very fun. Easy A but WELL WORTH THE LECTURES. honestly he assigns the projects 5 min after class ends, so you sorta have to go to the lectures but other than that its really fun and easy.

This was the easiest A! We didn't have a midterm just one homework assignment and the final. I reccomend not taking this as a three hour class and breaking it up two days a week instead because he lectures in the dark the whole time so it seems extra long. Overall a good class and entertaining. I'd take another one of his classes I liked it.

His lectures are very eye opening and interesting! He doesn't take tests seriously and the final is based off of your understand of the subject as a whole, and also your opinions on specific pieces. He is really a great down to earth professor. If I was an art major I would take him for the rest of my academic career!

you have to take this class. listen to his perspective. he goes over different types of art. just know the general theme of the class. optional midterm and mandatory open book final. you need to remember painting but he will give you the answers to the final so just come listen to him, be open-minded and get A

He's a really interesting and liberal professor. I loved his lectures because they were so eye-opening. I learned so much about the government. He still lectures about art, but he intertwines many themes and analyzes the several layers of artwork. His goal is that you become a critical thinker not a memorizer. Little work required for this class.

Amazing professor, really helps you think about things from a very unusual standpoint. He makes sure that he implements the understanding of critical thinking. Usually connects Art to political and life issues. Amazing class, easy A. Just come to class, pay a little attention and you will remember everything on the final. Just come and enjoy!

His class will make you think for yourself and not what the media or society will have you thinking. His class is about looking at art and seeing the meaning behind it. Its very inspirational. Downside, hes not very approachable and he doesnt like being called Professor

All I have to say is, this is the best as it gets. Pretty easy to get a good grade, hes an interesting and fun professor. If you dont like his class, theres seriously something wrong with you. Just saying.

VERY EASY! all you do is show up and the test are extremely easy. All he does is gives lecture that are all about the meaning of the art and he tells you what is on the test. Take him instead of any other art history professor.

His class was different.. I had him in the fall of 2019 and yeah, everything everyone says is pretty true about the conspiracy theories and the low difficulty level. Honestly, there were a lot of students that never even attended any of his lectures but just showed up the last day to take the final, which was the only thing he graded.
