Mr. Bundenthal is an intelligent but highly opionated invidual. He bases his opinions on you guessed it constitutional law so if you lack a basis for your arguement you may be dragged into the ground. Be prepared and don't wear your heart on your sleeve. It's the real world people so work hard and you will love this class!!!

He really gets you to engage your mind and look at things in a different way. He is opinionated, but he knows his facts. He has lived or visited most of the places you will talk about. He does not give homework. He does not expect you to be at every class either. As long as you participate in class you will get a good grade. Take it!

This professor is one of the best I've ever had. He wants more from his students than other teachers in terms of thinking about things, arguing your points and grasping the information. Hardly any homework, tests are simple enough and papers are graded fairly. Very cool guy!

Bundenthal is a great teacher. He makes his classes interesting and fun, especially during mock congress. Although his tests were difficult, he said that the grade he will give us is not solely based on the tests. Furthermore, he give opportunity for extra credit. If you take him, you will receive a B or Better, per Bundenthal.

I never thought one could be so disorganized for an online class. But the class was pretty easy. The only thing that was hard for me was to do a group project without actually seeing/working with the people of your group. I also didn't like how he would announce chat times like 6 hours before they started. Overall, an easy A.

I took the class online. 25pt quizzes(can use textbook) and seminar posts on a weekly basis. Midterm and Final may be a bit tougher. Online has been easy, but if you really want to learn something take face-to-face.

Had 2 LIT Review essays, lots of quizzes (1-2 a week), 1 midterm, 1 final (11 page proposal) The essays felt overwhelming because they required a lot of writing for a short amount of time b/c of summer. He doesn't grade too hard, but will critique you harshly for assignments. Breaks up the proposal into smaller assignments throughout the course.

Overall he's pretty good. He has very detailed rubrics and expectations for assignments, but if you follow them you will get an A. He's pretty understanding and laid back in class. His lectures have way too much info though. He's very knowledgeable about politics and you can ask him questions about almost everything in that field.

During lectures he is funny, nice and very knowledgeable in what he is teaching. Workload throughout the week is easy as it is usually around 1-2 quizzes a week. I will say I am not a fan of the 11 page paper due early December, then having a final the next week. I would take his class again though, because he knows what he is talking about.

Worst teacher I've had. TERRIBLE writer, but critiques your writing. His assignment descriptions are so verbose and confusing that it takes 30-60 mins to figure out what the assignment even is. INCREDIBLY irresponsible because he teaches his political opinions as unbiased fact. Also, 30+ students complained his feedback is disrespectful.

Professor Blumenthal is very rude and opinionated. When you email him to answer questions he tends to be condescending while replying in all caps. On one assignment When I expressed discontent about both Trump and Biden he told me: "Not impressive. Saying neither candidate represents your interests is simplistic and naive. ONE WILL BE President"

Beware of the long paper at the end of the semester, DO NOT PROCRASTINATE. Very typical PoliSci teacher, opinionated, succinct, and occasionally harsh. There is occasionally a lot of reading. If you read the textbook though, guaranteed a B or higher as every quiz question is pulled from it. Quizzes/ Exams are long though, but it was OK.

Professor Bundenthal was not bad by no means. However, the amount of writing and quizzes for this class was excessive. Be sure to do the final proposal paper way in advance, so you are not cramming it in at the end of the sem. Midterm and final were both 100+ questions, but he gives you enough type to answer all of them. Sometimes can be rude.

The tests and quizzes are easy, his literature reviews and proposal paper are the worst. However, I would rather write literature reviews for the rest of my life before ever doing his proposal paper ever again. It was a nightmare. His instructions are so messy and we have no idea how he grades. His systems don't make sense, and I feel stressed.

Taking his class in-person is a waste of time. He rarely takes attendance yet still gets mad when people don't show up. Lectures the entire class but it's never information you couldn't learn yourself through the textbook or online. Also doesn't give great feedback or clear instructions for assignments. Wouldn't take again but wasn't a hard class.

This class was ok. Weekly quizzes were fine, the writing assignments were the worst. Writing assignments have 2 different sets of instructions to look at, all color-coded, both too specific but also too vague. Very confusing. There are 2 literature reviews and 1 research proposal paper. A lot of writing. Didn't learn much. Take another professor.

Pretty hard grader, has weekly quizzes for each chapter on textbook, takes a while to respond, 2 literature reviews and a research proposal. Don't slack or procrastinate on those cause they're really important. Personally and accidentally turned in my final exam and proposal a day late but still passed it, but still be careful and don't do that!

I enjoyed this class, but I also enjoy writing a lot. The feedback was not overwhelming positive in the beginning, but was not seriously negative or discouraging in any way, I think it comes from a good place and I got better feedback later on. If you do have trouble with the instructions, the example work is quite helpful

I didn't enjoy this professor. His feedback on work was not very good and doesn't tell me what I did wrong. If you take his course during the summer, stay organized because each week is busy and you'll be fine

He is NOT open to discussions/debates. His instructions can range from very specific to very vague. Very hostile responses towards opposing opinions and will grade your written papers based on this. Behavior like this is highly unprofessional considering that this is a political science class, where debate should be welcomed. Do NOT recommend!

He's a good professor if you are *mostly* politically literate already. He leans liberal/ leftist. Wrote 15 legal briefs (3 sets of 5 & he gives a list of SCOTUS cases), 2 oral briefs (3 cases each), and the final. Very forgiving with late work! Limited extra credit. Firm on not rounding up grades. Good feedback. USE SUPPORTIVE EVIDENCE!

Professor Budenthal is the most understanding professor when it comes to late work. He was really patient and understanding. His writing assignments, specifically his literature reviews and research paper, are heavy though and tough if you're not a writer lots of critical thinking. However, you just have to follow his rubric and you should be fine.
