Mr. Tom Feist is one of the best professors I ever had. He makes sure that everyone understands his material. He is never late on anything. He gives us a chance to get our work done without rushing. Mr. Feist also does class participation which is so fun. The U tube presentations were awesome. I enjoyed being in is class. I'd refer anyone to him.

Very helpful . Was worried when i looked over the syllabus , but with his step by step guidance everything was easy. He answers emails extremely fast so that was a huge plus and he never seemed to be aggravated by the 9 million questions i had to ask . He is a great professor!!!

Communication is very important with taking and online class, every time I sent him and email he responded back within 24 hours, when I had a problem with actually doing a project his help was like being in a face to face with him. This was my first online class. I communicated with Mr Feist constantly and he always responded timely. Even though there was no personal interaction the class was very informative and relevant. I was exposed to numerous computer applications and websites that I would not normally gone. I would recommend this course to all regardless of your major.

This course was a breeze. We didn't need the book at all. We used the internet to learn. We had a dicussion or two due every week. There was a 3 part project which was super easy because he tells you how to do it. He is very helpful. He is quick to respond to emails. If you aren't internet savvy this is the course to take. You won't regret it.

I learned so much in this class. The information was presented to the everyday internet user as well as the advanced internet user. ITE 130 was a very challenging class. I had very little experience or interest in ITE. There is no need for a textbook because everything is on-line. You will be expected to work extremely hard for a small amount of points. It pays to communicate with the instructor when you need help. The hard work is worth it in the end!

Made class understandable, videos were outstanding.

90% of the time I can't get CAPTCHA's right, written or audio. What does that tell you. Initially, I was off-put by the instructor's statements of how busy he is. However, he was very available and responded quickly in every instance for me. The course content was excellent and streamlined for pertinence. I was pleasantly suprised by the class.

The class had alot of material, I did learn a few things. The html part was ok, The teacher walks you through that part. BUt I doubt I will remember how to do i, I would skip that part of the class if I was the teacher. I didnt think it was helpful. Mr Feist however, is extemely knowledgeable and very nice .

This class is a great class to take. Mr. Feist made and found some great videos that helped you understand each unit. The best part about the class was making your own html. I would recommend not buying a book because everything is online (I took the online class), so just wait until class start and ask.

It was relatively easy, wasnt too happy prior to taken the course about the web project but actaully enjoyed it and learn something new.

I have never had an instructor use u-tube and wish they all did! Most interactive of all online classes I've taken, in that the lectures are recorded (youtube) which made it really convenient for reviewing the course material. Interesting (relative) approach to teaching the material; uses his personal business throughout the course to make relative points. Quick to respond to email if there are questions. A+

I took this class online during the summer semester and got an A. It was challenging (probably would've liked in person class better) but Mr. Feist promptly answered emails and helped any way he could. Be prepared to do lots of discussion board posts and assignments plus a mid-term and final but, nothing was too difficult or overwhelming.

I took this course during the Fall semester. Professor Feist provided wonderful web lectures to help you pass the course. Because of this you do not need to buy the textbook. He answered emails immediately, and was there to assist in any problem you have had. I would take another course with him as the instructor.

I took this class online and did not need the book. This class started off a little overwhelming but ended with smooth sailing. I'm not saying that this is an easy class, its a class that requires you to think outside the box. Professor Feist mid-term and final was directly from the learning units and videos.

I took this class online in the Fall 2015. Professor Feist provides helpful online video lectures and links to open-source material, so I did not have to purchase a textbook (very appreciated!). He is very engaged in the coursework and he responds quickly to requests for help. I'd be happy to take another course from him in the future.

The class and Instructor was great. The web project I found was hard due to the difficulty with Kompozer and the FTP connection.

Feist is an amazing professor. In this course, you build an HTML website. Scary right? Not really. As long as you watch the material that he posts, you will do great. The videos are step by step directions on how to build the site. He also gives amazing information about many things related to the internet. Plus hes a pet photographer.

He was actually one of the few teachers that I felt was teaching as if we were all college students. As with any class, you get out what you put into it. Mr. Feist was very quick to answer any questions I had via email in this online class. No textbook costs because it was open source, but that seems to mean less control over the course content. Expectations were clear - lots of reading and quizzes, but also immediate feedback/grades for most.

Awesome professor. First online class I've taken the experience was a great one because of him. The class comes with a lot of reading and, like any online class, you have to be dedicated to your work, but as long as you make sure you stay on top of assignments it should be an easy pass. However, if you don't like writing papers, not recommended.

This is not an easy course. Expect to read a lot and take a lot of quizzes. Feist seems like a genuine nice guy. I received feedback always. In the beginning I wanted to drop his class because of his syllabus- he seemed tough. Plus, I doubted myself a lot. I would definitely recommend him & I would take his class again but in person. He cares.

I did not think I was going to like Professor Feist in the beginning. He's is very honest about his expectations and if you aren't willing to meet those then you won't do well. My particular class was an 8 week online class and it's imperative that you budget your time. I would absolutely take Feist again, perhaps in a classroom setting.

Thomas Fiest is an excellent professor, I took his online class and enjoyed it thoroughly. There is no textbook to purchase, but there is a free textbook provided online through his class. Although, Professor Fiest gives great feedback and carefully grades each assignment, there are quite a few papers that will be required in this class.

If you are up for a challenge, this is the perfect class for you. There is a lot of reading and many papers. If you are self-motivated and keep up with the homework assignments, you will do great. Also, Professor Feist provided excellent feedback on assignments and truly seems to care about the success of his students.

I really enjoyed this class, however it required long nights and a lot of typing. I did learn a lot about what it takes to be an entrepreneur and some key things to look at when going into a business. Overall a great class.

The content, though overwhelming at first, turned out to be pretty easy and fun to do. This is a class that requires attention and time other wise most things would get lost in translation. I had a death in my family after the last drop date and midway through the semester. I requested to be withdrawn from the course and instead Prof. Feist offered me an extension into the summer semester. This enabled me to not have a "W" show on my record and I did not lose the money and time I had already spent on this course. I am very grateful.

Great online course! He follows the course outline to a T. You may work ahead. The text book is electronic which was a plus. Time management is essential for this course as it requires heavy reading. If you are organized, engaged, and take great notes, an A is possible. You REALLY have to understand the course material in order to pass tests.

I took this class as an 8 week course. My average week consists of the online textbook (which is VERY interactive), quizzes and blogs. As an 8 week we do about 3 units a week but I can usually get all 3 units done in about 2 hours. There are pretests in the textbook that tell you EXACTLY what you need to study to pass the quiz. Great teacher!

Professor Feist is an awesome teacher. I had him for a 16 week ITE 130 class as well as an 8 week BUS 100 class. It was my 1st time EVER taking an 8 week class AND online classes. He was very straight forward with what was expected. He also responds to emails quickly. There are videos to help with lessons also. As long as you try you will pass.

I took the online BUS 100, 8-week course with Prof. Feist and thought that the class was easy. The class used the online Waymaker course and it was awesome and very intuitive. As a student with ADD, it was like Waymaker was a program geared toward students with difficulties. I wouldn't hesitate to take a course with him again. Great class!

I took the eight weeks class with Mr. Feist. This class is clear-cut. As he says, you blink an eye; you miss weeks worth of homework. He grades homework fast and gives you honest feedback to improve. He is excellent, and I had issues with my final exam, all I had to do was email him ahead of time, and he got back to me in a few hours. Great Prof!

Very straight forward. I took one of his condensed classes and it was tough but totally doable.

I took him for online, BUS 100 (8) week class. It was very informative and I believe it was very straight forward and organized. He emailed fast whenever I had a question. He graded in a timely fashion. The outline was a lifesaver! This 8 week class was the same as the 16 week class, so don't expect a decline in work because of the length.

I took the 8 week online course and it was one of the best classes I have ever taken. The class is very easy if you submit good quality work on time. Since it was an 8 week course, we did have a lot of things due at the end of each week but all of it was doable. Also, he actually reads everything you submit and gives feedback which is great.
