Funny guy, cusses a lot, but overall a pretty easy class. He'll work with you if you need help.

Kabin is an exellent teacher. It make learning about music fun and interesting. He uses great analogies to learn about music and has a passion for his family and music. I've learned "life is art and art is life."

This man is crazy. He uses fowl languege, tells boring stories about his personal life, and cracks mean jokes about how people in Arkansas are stupid. I will say that he truly has a passion for music and it was an interesting class. He isn't a good role model though. I think he is just a loser wannabe actor and a sad excuse for a respectable man.

He's really funny and he makes music lecture really enjoyable.

Kabin rocks my face off!!!

Amazing professor! I loved his class. he makes it fun and the only thing that is hard is the meditations but they r only time consuming.

Prof. Thomas is hilarious! At first you are completely taken aback by his comments but you get used to them. His class is very easy as long as you do all of the work. If you care enough about passing, you will.

the man is bi polar just about, but is entertaining and had interesting thoughts. you dont have to agree with them though because they are a litle crazy. get on tantrums too, but its fun to see him talk

It seemed like it would be a very easy class at first, but I ended up doing quite a bit of outside homework and studying. For such a huge class, you would think there would be little to no homework. The tests can be a little hard also. Nevertheless, this is all relative. If you work pretty hard you won't even have to take the last test.

This class was a blast!! A huge relief from the other classes that most of us are taking! his tests are kinda hard, but there are tons of other ways to get points to bump up your test grades!

He is very interesting and will definitely keep your attention throughout the 50 minutes. There is always something that he makes you listen to or watch everytime and he is very understanding if you have any problems.

Kabin's class was so wonderful!!

I really enjoyed Mr. Kabins class because he taught us how to think outside of the box more then anything. I also liked the meditations we did in class every day the music was really realaxing.

Kabin is seriously the most insightful teacher I have ever had. He makes you think of everything that happens to you daily as just part of it, and shows how musicians use this feeling to make everything make sense in the world. Awesome approach to a pretty boring class topic! Great!

He can be a bit radical, but you will feel like you've learned without having to teach it to yourself. If you keep up the class can even be easy. If you go expecting to learn you will be entertained. If you go expecting to be entertained you will work hard and learn. -an mlit student

Kabin Thomas is an overall awesome professor. His approach to learning is different from any method I've ever known. What I admire most in him is his utmost respect for other cultures music and the passion he has for his own.

I really enjoyed Kabin's class. He knows how to make it interesting to learn. If you go to class you will do fine, and hear some of his good jokes.

a pretty easy class if you put in a little bit of effort. Do your meditations, go to a couple of concerts, and show up and he will throw the points your way. Pretty funny/strange guy. Sometimes a little to much personal info about his life and such but overall pretty chill class.

Mr. Thomas was very passionate about the subject and this made it a lot easier to learn. The only complaint I would have would be the lack of organization in the class. Despite having so many aids you feel like your shooting in the dark with your grades. You often don't know if they have been received, counted, graded, anything for months at a time

Professor Thomas is one of the greatest teachers i've known. He's extremely passionate about his work and very knowledgeable. He was great and I would definitely take this class, it made my first semester bearable, haha.

very easy class but just because it is easy doesnt mean that you can skip his class all the time and still make an A. gives out alot of extra credit. you wont have to take the final if you do every extra credit, all your concerts, all your meditations, and do pretty okay on your other test before the day of the final

wish all teachers had the same principles as kabin. he's awesome! i hope everything goes well for him and he's dreams come true because this man deserves his dreams. i could relate to his talks all the time. he was hella awesome!!!

Good Guy! Tried hard. A bit unorganized, but got us to listen to music, which I never would have listened to. Meditations were awesome! I need to keep doing that! I miss him on campus.
