This class was an easy A if you come to class and pay attention. No worries to really study, just sit and listen and you've got it! Kabin knows how to get into student's heads, he's good. The U of A will miss him.

Funny, Good Teacher.

This class was great. It was my favorite class of the semester, and I will surely miss this class with Kabin next semester.

This was a very fun class to be in. The only problem I had was that the extra credit things that allow you to get a good grade didn't work with the schedule of some athletes including myself. Other than that the class was very fun and I wish him the best in his new profession.

He was a great teacher. Not only did he teach about music but he would teach about other things as well. He really challenged the class to use critical thinking!!!

Kabin is a good teacher. He is hilarious but could be very offensive if you are at all conservative. He teaches well and makes sometimes uninteresting subjects interesting. He is a very crazy guy, and when he gets to dancing, watch out! He's very passionate about music, and he is a good teacher.

Kabin is entertaining however his course material is often ridiculous and a waste of my time. I came into the class looking forward to becoming more educated about music, but left with sensless information about Gretchen Wilson and Janet Jackson.

Overall good teacher. Fun class, never fell asleep once which is surprising. the information wasnt all that interesting, but his style of teaching is what made the difference. he entertained.

Mr. Thomas, overall this class is good to have, especially if students are interested into music. The best part of it are meditations, they have realy changed my thinking about life and music in general. Continue to teach your students on how to meditate, it will really make a difference for them

I liked KLabin for the most part. He has a dirty mouth and is very serious about teaching this class. He really easy though. His tests are really tricky and you do have to study for them. Don't take this class with intentions of not doing anything because you have to listen to a butt load of classical pieces and you have to go to a few concerts

Easy, just go and theres no need to take the final. But the symphony sam thing, give it up.

Great Professor!

He keeps the class interesting and doesn't bore you. There is alot of music to learn, but he plays various types of songs.

I didn't mind going to this class. Goes by really fast and pretty easy to acheive your point totals!

Fun class. Go to class to keep up and to not get behind. Don't wait until the end of the semester to try to get all your extra points, so go to concerts whenevr you can. Kabin is exciting and he tells you what he thinks.

An inspiring and very interesting professor. Has alot of students so a little unorganized but it comes with the territory. Attending class is essential for info regarding bonus pts. which are frequent and appreciated! I love the way he thinks and he is hilarious!! Care and you will get an A.

Okay so you should really take Kabin Thomas for Music Lecture. It is my first class in the morning and to be honest its not something that I dread waking up and going to. It is quite amusing. He is the greatest!

This class wasn't as bad as i thought it was going to be after all. Not a horrible experience at all.

I'd heard great things about Kabin, so I signed up for the course, and I'm so glad I did. Maybe it's because I'm pretty liberal, but I think this guy is awesome.

I love this class! It really is beneficial...it gives us a time to relax and experience music we dont usually listen to!

I had a good time in this class. It was a nice break during the day to listen to music.

It was easy to pay attention and I felt like I actually got something out of going to class!

Well, you can't take his class and not agree that Kabin has a Passion for teaching and music. He is Vulger and Crude, but funny and nice at the same time. You either like him or hate him. I don't see the point in his profanity. I don't mean to judge but, instead of not using that language, he thinks he fits in with the students by cussing.

The class is a lot different than most other classes, mostly due to the instructor, Kabin Thomas. It can be a fun class if you enjoy music, otherwise probably not. The mandatory concerts are tough to attend when you have a busy schedule.

A very fun and exciting class that will keep you entertained for a semester! Definitely take it. It is pretty easy up until November, but if you have done well up until then you are almost done anyways. He lets you leave once you have an A in the class. He is hilarious!

Kabin has such a heart for his students. It amazes me how much he really cares about us and really tries to instill in us a respect for others and a respect for music and basically anything deserving respect. He has taught me so much about life through this course and for that I am grateful.

The class is an easy "A" but the meditations take some time as well as being able to recognize the songs for the test. I would take for an easy "A" but there is work involved. Kabin is a nice guy but can make some crude jokes occassionally. And don't forget to "relax and focus" as he says everyday!

He is very good at getting you interested in classical music. I have a much greater interest in it than I ever thought I would have.

He really knows the music which makes it easy to learn from him. Sometimes his humor crosses the line between funny and inappropriate but overall a good professor.

This class has gotten so much worse than when my roomates had taken it. He assigns group leaders to be responsible for your grades, and they have too much stuff to keep up w/ so it's easy for them to lose stuff. Your grade may suffer due to his laziness, so make copies of everything you turn in.

This class doesn't seem to have a point at all! All you do is sit there and close you eyes listening to music. You never learn anything about the music or its composers! Kabin is very helpful and nice to his students always willing to work around their schedule. He is super nice!

He shouldn't have limited the number of things to 1 thing a week. That makes it nearly impossible to get an A.

The listening tests can get a little tricky, and so can the mult. choice. As long as you do all the assignments though and some extra credit, you should do fine. It is a fun class and you get excited about going, but there are times when it is boring. Its important to go often so you don't miss any bonus

Kabin is simply not afraid to share his beliefs with you and treat each student as indivdually as he can by appealing attempting to appeal to certain groups in his large classes. His very funny and his class is interesting and not bad to go to at all. As long as you go, it's hard not to get an A.

well, it was easy at first and got harder, in the future go to all of the classes and go to all of the concerts and you probably wont have to take the final. harder than i woulda liked but who likes a lot of work? o well, cool guy, take him.

It's not a hard class, it's just the way he teaches. One thing I do hate is that he doesn't give us enough time to copy the notes...UGH :( Also, I don't agree with most of the comments he makes in class, but I guess he's just trying to be fun!...It's NEVER funny to me.

The class is very up beat and you can tell that Kabin is very passionate about music and getting it out to students and making them aware of how important it is. The only drawback to the class is that even if you go to every class you MUST go to outside concerts or you will not get all the points you need to pass the class.

This is a really interesting class and it goes so fast. The only bad thing is having to type out the meditations but other than that, this is a good class to take and its really enjoyable.

Kabin can be fun. Kabin can be rude. Kabin can be well anything he wants to be to you. Yet he always promotes self worth and equality. Hopefully ,if you take this class, you will learn to take him for what he is and not judge him from the outside.

He makes learning about classical music very interesting. With his modern day comparisons and funny stories, Mr. Thomas makes sure that we have a good time in class while still learning the material.

He's a little over the top taching wise but he really knows his stuff. I would tidy up the wardrobe a tick because most of the time, he looks homeless when he comes to class. You will probably be offended in some way, shape, or form during the time that you have him, but the class is easy, so all in all its bearable.

If anyone said that this class is not awesome, they are a very very sick little person. I have always loved music, but now I appreciate music, and what it takes to make it in all aspects.

Kabin puts the "ooooh" in Music! You wouldnt think someone so outspoken and loud would be so smart, but his brain is weird!! It works differently than others'..Meditations are a pain, but you'll feel so good about yourself when you are done with them...
