His class is so easy, just show up. He's like adorable, knows so much about the subject, is really prepared for class and seriously just wants to get you to learn. He uses funny examples to get you to understand and remember and he basically GIVES you extra points. theres participation peoples and test corrections- just show up to class.

I toke both MGT 313 and BLAW 201 and his classes were great. Most of the assignment were easy because they are based on your outlook of the subject. Just make sure you show up, participate, and do the assignments and I guarntee youll do fine. The other reviews are from lazy students who did not want to put in any effort, trust me.

I had no idea what to expect, and now am considering a Law degree. He makes you work for your grade. BLA201 is a tough class that covers a lot of content and Kovach fairly expects that you'll actually study and learn the material. Study the content and you'll do well. Also, his examples are very animated, hyperbolic, and funny.

Professor Kovach is entertaining to say the least, and easily one of my favorite professors. You have to read! He enjoys well driven lectures if everyone is up to date on the readings. He's actually really easy-going and laid-back. He is lecture heavy, and does assign a lot of homework. But he is lenient as far as deadlines and grading go, and as long as you show up to class and you put in some effort, you will get an A. Also no final exam and quizzes/tests for his class was a big plus. I personally was a fan of his dad jokes too

One of my favorite professors at West Chester, he let me hand in a few things late when I told him I was struggling with depression at the time. I participated in class a lot, which he appreciates. I also took him for BLA201. It was more work, just make sure you pay attention in class, take notes, study the slides. He has a very dad joke vibe.

Professor Kovach is here for the students, he gives everyone the most fair chance at passing his class. He is always there for any questions and if you stay after class he will talk to you about anything you need. Would definitely suggest taking Professor Kovach for BLA, even if it is from 7:15-10:00pm you will still learn and enjoy his lectures.

Almost 100% reading and lectures, but one of my favorite classes and professors that I have ever taken! Weekly quizzes that were not too hard, just three exams that were very fair. Participation is huge, but you will actually want to be involved.

Great professor and helpful via email and during office hours! The course had many textbook readings mostly straightforward content, and he sometimes gave an extra week or so in the semester to catch up on reading. The weekly exercises and reflections were also not too difficult to complete, but grades/feedback may take a bit longer to receive.

This class is awesome, there is one homework due every week that is two paragraphs about what you learned the class before. There is two papers due, they are very easy to right about. If you go to class and particpate and try, you will get an A and you will learn a lot.

Prof. Kovach has been my favorite professors for two semesters now. As long as you participate in class and show him you're interested you'll have an easy time. This is a Writing Emphasis course so there are a lot of writing assignments. I would highly suggest taking both his BLA and his MGT classes.

Great professor, lots of information in the chapters, and participate in class as much as you can for extra credit. Exams are open notes, even though they are open notes still study a lot because you will loose out on a lot of time just finding the answers so have a good understanding of each chapter and vocab.

Grading is done with quizzes for each chapter, 3 exams, and participation. Go to class and do the corrections on the exams and you will get an easy A. Reading the textbook is required.

I'd definitely recommend Dr. Kovach for BLA201! His lectures are clear and the readings help a lot! Quizzes are open note and for exams you're allowed to bring printed notes. He's very interactive and makes lectures interesting, but you definitely need to read the textbook to succeed in the course.
