Hard but learned a lot.

Mr. Lancraft is a good guy. He knows what he's talking about and has a good sense of humor. But his class is a lot of hard work.

lancraft is an excellent teacher. You do have to study though but it is worth what he teaches

He's difficult, but I feel like I'm doing better in nursing classes because of him. To me, I remember him as SOOO knowledgeable, but not the best at expressing his knowledge. He'd get pretty frustrated in lab, I believe for that reason.

Knows his stuff and wants you to understand. Uses great overhead demos with lecture. Weekly timed quizes giving more opportunity to control grade. Willing to help outside of class and happy to answer questions. Gotta study, but you will learn content!

He's an excellent teacher, however, a little hard on the grading. I still got an A, so it's not impossible. VERY knowledgable.

I would say he is a pretty good teacher. You definately work for your grade, you can't be lazy. If you study your lecture notes and follow up with his cd's to understand the concepts, I think everyone will do fine.

Not to hard if you go to class and pay attention! If you plan on going into medical field def. a good idea to take Lancraft's class. Also helps in class with little activities to help understand and remember some of the harder material. overall good!

Took him for A@P I and II...I took II online just to take him..long time ago, but thanks to him I am a new RN with a 2 year degree as of May 04 that is now starting my bachelors taking pathophysiology. I still remember material because he was so great!!!

Took him for Lab twice. He does teach the class like we have a chemistry/biology background. He is nice guy and good teacher. I worked my butt off and ended up with a B. If you are looking for an easy A don't take him, if you are looking for knowledge take Mr Lancraft

Very good teacher. He is very helpful. Explains material well. He is not for someone who wants an easy A but perfect for someone who wants to learn. It is possible to get an A but don't expect it if you don't study a lot. He uses many different techniques to get the point across. Very creative!GREAT

Great teacher. Very hard. You can't miss one class or you will be lost. Fair grading. Feel honored to get C! That is like an A in an easy professors class. Challanging class. If have him for lecture, must take for lab, easier to understand and the repetive teaching helps!

Mr. Lancraft is a great guy and a good teacher, but his class IS VERY VERY hard. Never ever miss a class, and take very good notes. He gives his lecture notes online, but I didn't find them very helpful. I still wonder if anyone has gotten an A in his lecture or his lab..

I got an A, in both lab and lecture, and so did my friends. You only have to follow his objectives and study his lecture notes.

They are right, he is hard, but... I got a B!!!! Booyah! It's not that hard to get a B in his class, just do well on the online quizzes, and take good notes. He can be funny, too... Really funny. (though I think the guys in our class are now in trouble with the women... his fault =P )

Mr. Lancraft is a great teacher, but not easy. He makes you understand what your learning by breaking things down. He also makes class fun and interesting.

Don't take him for lab and take someone else for the lecture. You will be lost and he gets very mad about it. Otherwise, he is a great teacher and KNOWS his stuff! It is very possible to get an A... you might have to work a bit... but it is very very possible!ITS COLLEGE TIME TO LEARN TO STUDY!

He's a great teacher. He's very nice and helpful, also funny. There's a lot of quizes, but they prepare you for the tests. Explains things clearly. I would definately reccomend him and I will be taking him again for anatomy and physiology.

Good teacher, but hard, adds a lot of good humor jokes to get you through this class. If you want a good grade you have to spend a lot of time studying! A very time consuming class. Mr. Lancraft is the kind of teacher who wants his students to understand concepts, not just understand to pass a test. If you have good study habits, you can do good, but it will be difficult nonetheless. He's cool.

Great! He really wants you to be able to learn. Uses online quizzes which are great! Take him if you plan to go to the Nursing program-my friends all took him and are scoring much higher then other teacher's students.

Very nice teacher. Hes very helpful He has a website so you can print out his lecture notes if your absent or you dont have him for lecture. There are also images so you can print them out and put them on note cards. Hard teacher but you learn a lot. Its possible to get an A or B you just have to study.

Mr. Lancraft does have high standards. For future medical professionals - who of us would want less? If you are putting in the effort, this teacher will go the extra mile to help you understand the material. The man is simply awesome.

Very nice instructor. It is a hard class so you truly need to know how to study, otherwise, you'll have a very hard time! Great at helping you when you need it and he always wants to make sure everyone understands the curriculum... I would recommend him, as long as you have the time to put into studying!

Fabulous teacher who has a passion for his material. Health-care students will gain a solid foundation from Mr. Lancraft. Not easy, but one of the best.

I was excited to take this class and then I realized it's a lot more than I thought it was going to be. He is an amazing teacher who has a great sense of humor, study, study, study! If you study just his notes and images you will make it. One of the hardest professors I have ever had but, I got a B because he was such a good teacher.

He is very nice. Stay after and really study. he will notice it and give you a little more attention. He is very helpful and posts everything online. I suggest to print out the pics he puts online- he uses those slides-or ones like it. THIS IS COLLEGE-get used to work!

gotta agree with the last comment. Not easy but best for learning your stuff. My A&P 1 teacher (Grundset) basically did not cover anything that helped me in this course.

I didn't find Mr. Lancraft to be as difficult as some people had suggested. In fact the class wait quite easy. The quizzes and first two exams are taken at home online with more than enough time. If you're going to be going into the medical field I would recommend Mr. Lancraft.

Mr Lancraft works to prepare students for a nursing career. In lectures he uses a computer program which he created, and does a play, pause and talk method of teaching. Tests, quizes & "case study" r online. The final is in class & not crazy difficult. The class isn't easy, it's college APII, so if u work at it you'll do great.

Taking him for lab and learning a lot. The lecture teacher (brigtman) is so easy all you have to do is study for Lancraft's lab quizzes and you can pass the lecture tests. prepares you for real lab quizzes with practice quizzes in ANGEL!

finally see what my nurse friends were talking about. he puts things together so that I can understand them-not just memorize. great preparation!

I have him for lab and he is great. Goes the extra mile to help you learn. I suppose there will always be sour g****s, see below, because he really wants you to learn and expects your best performance. I have another instructor for lecture (Grundset) and she just tells you what is on the test-a real no brainer-and I bet that makes her popular.

very clear on what he expects. i used his ANGEL prequizes and did great on the exams. taught me stuff that the lecture teach did not.

great lab teacher! helped me improve my grade by two letter grades. willing to really help.

His lab teaching makes up for other prof's lecturing. Make sure that you take him if you really want to prepare for health programs.

Have another teach for lecture and get nothing from them. However, all I need to learn in lab is provided by his ANGEL stuff.

Best teacher I've ever had. He does a great job explaining things and is genuinely interested in how the students do. I'm definitely taking A&P II from him next semester!

Had him for BSC 1086, way back when. Not that I am in Dental Hygiene I am so happy that he made me work. I had another teacher (G) and I thought that was "good teaching" but realized that I was not understanding anything, until I took Lancraft.

Very helpful if you ask. Spent extra time in office and in lab helping me. Doesn't give us answers but helps to find them!

Lab- I managed to pass with an A average. I didn't find his class too difficult. I can't quite seem to understand why other comments mention that he's a tough prof. I certianly think that his class will prepare you for the medical field and college-level load in general.

Mr Lancraft was very thorough in explaing subjects and helping you when ever you needed it. I would recommend him to everyone!!!!

just took his lab, andhe allowed me to set in on his lecture class and it helped. He is a visual teacher and he helps you to get it, be ready to study, and don't take his attitude personally.

Took Mr. Lancraft's online human anatomy class...Hrd work but very clear on what he expects. He gives lecture notes and that is ALL that is on his tests!! Great teacher!

He is a challeging teacher. He is very funny though. His tests are very complex but if you attend class, use his notes from the lectures your in luck. Beware all his quizzes are online and you only have a short amount of tiime for each chapter. STUDYING IS A MUST TO PASS!!! HIGLY RECOMMEND :)

Not a bad teacher, however he is a little too condescending for a guy who pronounces eosinophil and mellitus incorrectly. Attend class, pay attention, take good notes and you'll pass.

Professor Lancraft is a wonderful instructor. Grade scale=10 quizzes, 4 super quizzes, and 2 exams (NO CUMULATIVE). His courses are difficult, but he lectures and provides lecture notes (plus many other useful learning activities) only for the material you will be tested on. If you study, make flash cards, and attend class you will have no trouble

Prof Lancraft was an amazing teacher. He was very helpful and more than willing to bend over backwards to help you. He encourages you to join his other classes if you still need a little help. He doesn't use the textbook that much. He has lecture notes that he posts online. If he didn't verbally say it, i won't be on his tests. He's great!

Professor Lancraft is a great teacher. I had him for BSC 1083 online, and yes it was difficult. But its human anatomy! He gives plenty of material to study by and is more than willing to help. He is always looking for new things online to help you study also. He answers questions to emails quickly.

This professor was a great teacher. Always answers any questions you have about any body system and anything you are having an issue with. The class is difficult, but its the human body for crying out loud!It's supposed to be.I recommend him if you are willing to learn the material.My advice,if you don't get something,go in on a one-on-one.

Professor Lancraft is great!I was optimistic from reviews,and yes,he is hard on you but he wants to make sure you learn!His everyday examples help you grasp the material and he is very comiccal to help you stay alert as well.If you want to learn and like an instructor that will be hard so you succeed Lancraft is the one.

I went into the class with a negative attitude at first bsed on the negative comments.However,he has his reasoning for being "hard."In the medical profession it needs to be right the first time and he stresses that.Yes,he can be condescending,but that is if you are blatantly not studying and wasting his time.He's great!

Very easy, if you go to class and study. Quizzes are all online and 2 tests are in class. Never used the text book, just read the lecture notes and take your own notes as well. Definitely recommend him if you want to learn. He is very comical, laughs at his own jokes, and make ridiculous real life examples (which is good b/c you'll always remember)

Prof. Lancraft is a great teacher. The class is VERY hard though. He gives you a giant stack of study material and then the tests/quizzes only cover maybe an eighth so make sure you CAREFULLY study the lecture notes and sit up front so you can see the diagrams better!

He is not hard. I often studied my butt off just to be surprised at the very simple questions he asked on the quizzes. Use your textbook to cement the material you hear in class and the typed lecture notes he provides. Make charts and flash cards to make sense of the ton of information presented. It is a lot of work and lots to remember but easy.

This is one of the most birng classes I have. He isnt that bad, his stories are a little interesting but it is VERY boring. I didnt even use the book and if you speak to him individually he does kinda make you feel stupid. This class is hard, done deal.

While other students in the class found this professor difficult, I found him to be very knowledgeable about the subject. Yes he tells a lot of stories, most about himself, but it put a little bit of relaxation in the class. He provides you with all the material and subject matter you will need to pass this course. Study a little and pass.

Online: 10 lessons total w/ 2 superquizzes. He has everything open for you to work ahead!! The 1st 5 lessons are the midterm. The last 5 are the final. Both are 50 multiple choice questions. Everything he gives for each lesson in his notes is what YOU STUDY. He is KINDLY available for add'l assistance.

Very nice and funny, though tends to jump a little off subject and back and forth from one to another. Listen to what he says and read your lecture notes...and study!! It's not an easy class.

If you are a science buff, this is the teacher you need. He explains things in many ways so everyone can understand. Did you honestly think an advancing science class would be easy? You will like it, if youay attention and enjoy school. He's also goofy and funny. Take the labs with him as well. You will leave this class with knowledge.

Lancraft is a good professor. He tries to relate the subject at hand with a story that you will remember. It was helpful.Quizes and SuperQuizes are online and 2 exams in class.I went to almost every class because he explained a lot. The book is NOT NEEDED, don't waste $300 on it.He gives lecture notes online. I liked the class. Received an "A". :)

This is a difficult class, period. Lancraft explains the material using a lot of stories. He does tend to go off subject. However, I would recommend coming to each lecture, as it does help. Use the objectives online as a guide to what you should read in the book. What you don't get, read about in the book. If you study and show up you'll do fine.

Take Brightman. Lancraft is hard. Don't buy book. Never opened it. All info online. What make him hard is that he uses big words and all medical terminology - which is fine- but not for A/P1. Very challenging. Lost interest when I recognized an A or B was totally out of reach. Will be lucky to get an overall C.If at all possbile take someone else.

Never opened the $300 text book. All info online. Teacher is a real nice guy. His comments are usually funny. This is a rough class, so be prepared. You will need HOURS and HOURS of study time.

I find these comments interesting. I took him for A/P, and I got an A. I did use my textbook, and referred to it for other classes as well, so I found it worth it. He is very nice, and his jokes make it easier to remember material. I do suggest copious notes, as well as independent study of the material. If you do that, you should do well.

I have had Prof. Lancraft for three semesters. He is clear, concise and YOU WILL ACTUALLY LEARN SOMETHING! This is not an easy class nor should it be for medical professionals. He gives clear objectives and great online tools to help you learn. He is also accessible and available for any help you may need. Adequate study time is needed.

Most dedicated prof I've known. Very well-thought out lectures. Very fair when grading. Provides notes on-line and most test questions come from these, so expectations are clear. Overall great guy.

I would take him again, this class demands a lot of dedication. But if you study your notes and look thru the book you will pass. This professor cares very much.

All tests and worksheets were done online. Attendance isn't mandatory but i would suggest not missing many classes. He made the class interesting and is pretty funny. Overall a great professor but the class is pretty tough, be ready to do a lot of studying

A&PI Lecture attendance not mandatory but definitely recommend. All notes and tests except final online. Many resources online. Offers as much help as you can possibly need as long and you put in equal effort. If you are not familiar with biol & chem, then daily study is a must. Weekly quiz 10 quest, 2 50 quest midterms, & 100 quest final. Got an A

A&PI Lab attendance mandatory, weekly 10 quest quiz, 3 noncumulative 50 quest practicals. Offers tons of help & stays after class as long as students are there to answer any questions & have more time to look at slides & models. Got an A! Def recommend for lab and lecture. Very smart and funny. He wants to make sure you are prepared for nursing.

Mr. Lancraft is very passionate about natural science will help you any chance he gets and will refine your study skills for you my suggestion is DRAW the images be able to identify . He is tough but wants you to know the material

Great Professor! His class is hard but not impossible. Study, study, study and you will do fine. He's always willing to help you understand the material and even helps you outside of class. Totally recommend him if you actually want to learn something.

Professor Lancraft has interesting lectures. He has a learning style that will make you remember anatomy by his own life experiences. Even though he does not require attendance, you will have fun in his class. He gives you all the tools necessary to succeed. Follow his lecture notes!! Do the extra credit!

Best professor I've ever taken. Explain the material so that you can understand it. You have to study if you want to be successful in his class. Wish there were more professors like him out there

Excellent lecture! He has a way of making you feel silly at times when you ask a question, but it's to challenge you. He is very into the learning process, so he'll provide tons of studying techniques to try. Attendance not required. All notes are in angel. Don't need a book. Tons of resources in Angel as well. Don't get behind! Hard to catch up.

Helps you understand what is going on. More difficult than the alternatives, but you LEARN the material and he helps provide ways for you to study. TONS of online resources i used to study also. 3 tests online, weekly quizzes, cumulative final in class.

For a student who doesn't know/care to study for class, ofcourse you will review this teacher bad. BUT for students who are seeking a higher degree Take him!Yes he is hard,but if you study everyday&pay attention, you will succeed.Definitely worth taking if you want to understand the material & be prepared for Nursing/Science career paths.A+ teacher

Yes, this is a difficult class, BUT his lecture notes are excellent and he makes himself available for extra help outside of class. Studying his notes and the images is imperative for this class. If you do your part, he will do his!

LOVED Prof. Lancraft! Awesome, incredibly knowledgeable guy. Very straight forward yet still very fun. Requires a bit of studying, not too bad. Weekly 10 question quizzes, 2 exams. For me, was an easy A. Willing to review beforeafter class as needed. Offers extra credit. Book was not used once.

You'll hear how difficult Mr. Lancraft is, but don't believe the hype. He is thorough, prepared, and there for you, every step of the way. Study his notes along with your lecture notes. Do the lab workbooks before the class, and you'll be one step ahead. Do not miss class, you'll miss the quiz. He'll stay after class for help, and class is short!

He only gives 3 exams. 2 midterms and a final. All the rest was online quizzes for each chapter. In class lectures seemed to last an eternity. He gave extra credit worksheets that are SUPER helpful with boosting your grade and in just sorting out and learning the information though.
